Always check the bill! I noticed it many times that they charge more than what it says in the Menu.

Sure, you might have to wait a bit on a Friday at lunchtime – no big deal. But when you're standing there the whole time, supposed to be waiting for a table, and then six people come in after you, greet the waiter in Arabic, and get a table right away, you feel cheated. It makes it seem like personal connections count for more than fairness.

We drive 200km to Munich just to eat there. It's been worth it every time. And everyone I've sent there has loved it. Keep it up! 💪🏽

We had dinner at Sara for four consecutive nights during Oktoberfest 2025, and every meal was outstanding. I'm not usually a big foodie, but I absolutely loved it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The warm toasted bread was a memorable treat. Service was consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had kuzu bamya. The food was really great. A lot of it, halal, and it tasted good. What bothered me was the indifference of the server. He brought me the cutlery but put it on the other side of the table (sort of like he just quickly put it down). At the end, I ordered tea. Generally, I'm used to Turkish/Arabic restaurants offering complimentary tea at the end as a nice gesture. But here, they charged me for it. If I had just ordered the tea, that would have been fine, but that was it. Besides, the tea was just an infusion, so it was very bitter instead of being made with hot water. I couldn't drink it. The ambiance was okay.

I can't really say much more than "Best skewers in Munich and the surrounding area." I've been coming here regularly since it opened—it's even become a tradition with my wife, who doesn't normally eat lamb, to go to Sara's once a week just the two of us and enjoy the skewers. After all these years, you naturally know the owner personally—a great guy. Always a pleasure!

Fantastic oriental food - we went in for breakfast and had lamb skewers and bread with the shakahuka. The bread was perfect and freshly made. The meat was cooked to perfection and had so much flavour! Can definitely recommend ☺️

Terrible experience despite the nice location. The food was just average, but the real issue was the staff — shockingly rude and unprofessional. Our waiter was openly hostile, messed up the order, and even still was angry at us. Part of our meal never arrived, and instead of apologizing, he acted like we were the problem. Busy or not, there’s no excuse for treating customers this way. Absolutely unacceptable — I will never come back.

In My humble opinion is the best Iraqi kebab in München.

When the owner or manager of the restaurant is in the restaurant, their behavior is great, but as soon as he is absent, their behavior changes and becomes rude. I wish the manager remained present, it would be better.

I respectfully asked him to bring a new plate of rice. He took the plate and threw it in the trash. First of all, I would like to thank all the staff and workers, especially the hidden chef, for this wonderful flavor in the food. Of course, the meat joints are clearly fresh and tender and come skewered hot 😍🔥 The meat kebab, what can I say? It's juicy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the taste is as if you are in Istanbul, something legendary and fantastic. We go for the okra, its grains are small and fresh, just like the ones you make at home. The rice is cooked properly, and each grain is cooked on its own. Honestly, I enjoyed the food. There are men's and women's restrooms. The service is very fast. I will recommend it to everyone and I will come back, God willing, again. 🙏🌹

Delicious, worth a visit. I tried the creamy chicken and rice. The meat lasagna was delicious.

I found the food to be just average. I ordered the grilled kebab, which unfortunately tasted undercooked, and the white beans were merely okay. However, the real disappointment was the service. The staff were unfriendly and unaccommodating from the start — they didn’t acknowledge us, avoided eye contact, and took orders without writing anything down, which resulted in them forgetting part of our meal without any apology. When the food was eventually brought out, it was placed on the table with no care, and we were told to distribute it amongst ourselves. The overall attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this place.

Very delicious food ! There were a lot of options, the food came fast (we ate there) and the free breads you get were big and I believe 4 or 5 pieces, so no need to order extra bread. (Though it wouldn't have been so bad- costs only 50 cent) And I was really blown away by the freshness and taste of the ayran, perfect for a hot day. They can talk german just fine, although they will approach you in arabic but maybe we just looked arabic. Nothing to complain- really liked it. 5 stars !

Yesterday night we had dinner there. We ordered kebab, rice, okra, lamb shank, and tea. The food was delicious, clean, and the atmosphere was unique. The employee, Athir, was elegant in his dealings, a cheerful, polite, and skilled person. He personally took care of everyone's requests. Thank you.

Direct and solid. Chicken skewer with very good basmati rice, with cacik (too little salt), grilled tomatoes, some red cabbage and onions. Plus a large pita shop. Very plentiful for €11. Service was quick.

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to share with you my feedback on my last visit to your restaurant. I ordered two dishes: a kebab with salad and a kebab with rice. The food was very good and I was satisfied with it. However, there was a problem with the service. Since I was traveling with a stroller, I had difficulty getting proper instructions from the service staff. The staff weren't particularly helpful, which made the situation uncomfortable for me. It was relatively quiet in the restaurant at this point, so there was no excuse such as: B. a lot of stress due to many guests. I hope that the restaurant pays attention to treating customers respectfully in the future. If the CEO is reading this, I would like to politely request that improvements be made in this area.
