Sixties Diner in Berlin

Unfortunately I didn't like the food. I didn't find service that motivated either. It's a good place to spend some time there and pass some time.

Very authentic... Super friendly staff... I was there at 10 p.m., the kitchen was only open for me and I got incredibly delicious ribs with cheese fries... THANK YOU

Really nice shop with a very nice decoration plus nice employees and great food top shop.

Very nice atmosphere, the food was very good and more than plentiful and cheaper than other well-known fast food chains. For 12€ a REAL fat burger 🍔 with great fries 🍟. Everyone got super full and even for a long time. Drinks are also cheaper and the vanilla shake is really good.

I come here often when I'm in Berlin. You feel like you are in America for a short time. The food is also delicious 😋 Be sure to stop by when you are in Berlin

Unfortunately the cocktails turned out really bad. Service not exactly friendly. It's a shame it used to be a great store.

Friendly service, good food and great milkshakes, and free coffee refills, what more do you want :-). Only the jukebox doesn't work, but hey, the music selection playing in the background was enjoyable, too.

Not the best burger ever, but fries are included in the price. The atmosphere is nice (although very artificial) and there is a very large selection of vegan burgers, which is why I will definitely come back again

We have been here again for a few years and were very impressed. The service was great, the food was very, very good and the portions were large, the fries were incredibly tasty and hand-cut. The cocktails were perfect. We'll definitely be back.

We only had one coffee...it was very good! And very well priced too! Unfortunately the chairs were no longer the best...some of them were broken...the tables were very clean! The service was very friendly!

Just like you imagine a diner from movies. Servis was very good and in a good mood. Breakfast was very tasty and a lot, which was almost too much for a farmer (farmer breakfast), for a pensioner.

We were served quite quickly. The staff were friendly. The portions were big enough to fill you up. And the food tastes good too. Four stars everywhere, as there is still some room for improvement.

Good and cheap food. Of course not that high quality but not bad either. The service was always very lackluster.

First we were served the wrong plates. The onion rings were delicious. The garlic baquettes were baked. The burgers were ok, but something was missing. The sweet potato fries didn't taste good at all. The alcoholic cocktails tasted so-so, you couldn't taste the alcohol.

Top 50s location. Today sweet potato fries were on the test plan. Top grade preparation, first class! Quantity is probably something for 2 people, top price, PERFORMANCE, TOP TASTE! Service tiptop friendly and competent. The way to Zehlendorf is actually worth it just for the sweet potato fries. Thank you thank you thank you 😍😘😘

A cool restaurant with a small music box at the table and lots of details that match the restaurant. The service is very nice and the food is good value for money for us.

Seats are often broken and worn out, you can smell the toilet from below and the employees sound and act annoyed and the tables are easy to move and are wobbly. Drinks look good and taste good too. The food is horrible. Citizens arrive half raw and my colleagues didn't get all of their food. I also observed how the employees clean the plate for the citizens' patties because they take a dirty broom from the floor and use it to clean the plates

The service was a bit confusing, you were served by 5 people in English and German who all asked the same thing. The burgers, fries and chicken fingers are highly recommended to eat. Large portions and the price is right.

Price performance completely okay

Great restaurant in an appealing and authentic atmosphere. The prices are okay and the quality is right. We will definitely come back. There is a small deduction with regard to the service staff, as I know much more commitment from the USA and the lady wasn't really motivated. Unfortunately, that doesn't really fit with the otherwise successful US atmosphere.

It's always great to eat at one of the Sixtys. We like coming here because it is super tasty.

I would really like to give 5 stars if the food wasn't so terribly bad. I love the facility and the service is really nice, so you'll want to go there more often with your children. Unfortunately, I tear up every time the food is served. I would really be happy with average food simply because the rest is fine. But it's all frozen, tasteless and really the cheapest quality. I also miss typical American original products such as a simple Dr. Pepper or similar Dear Sixties, if you still had a good kitchen now, you would be a top shop that would be much more popular!

Five of us were there on a Saturday evening and sat downstairs. The service was very friendly and regularly asked about us. Food was served relatively quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Meat was tender and juicy. Food was delicious. I would go there again.

We received a relatively unfriendly welcome. Food came quickly. Prices are okay. The quality of the food was sufficient, but nothing more. The originally planned order of the T Bone Steak was harshly denied because the steak was out. Overall it's okay but I wouldn't have more than a milkshake there in the summer. There are better alternatives.

Unfortunately, after the reopening in 2023, the prices have risen extremely and we no longer like the food. Pizza is too flabby, fries are too soft, my beloved pasta is bland, and there is no longer a roll with the salad and there are missing ingredients. The service isn't particularly hard-working either; they prefer to chat with each other at the counter. No, I don't have to have that anymore. There are better restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

American diner atmosphere in Zehlendorf. Good burgers and salads. Totally friendly service. We recommend the Sixties Burger with sweet potato fries.

Food quality has significantly decreased. Employees block the disabled toilet. That is not how it works!

Unfortunately, it can no longer keep up with other burgers and fast food offerings. The nachos and the mix starter plates were sometimes simply not tasty and also quite carelessly presented with sad individual lettuce leaves. The guacamole was pre-bought and unfortunately not tasty. It's a shame that we ordered them separately. The drinks: Aperol spritz and Mule were very tasty. I remember the atmosphere as being particularly special, but now everything seems a bit old and shabby. Still practical as a group because it has a large selection of dishes. Ordered once from the delivery service: very expensive and the burgers just weren't tasty unfortunately..

I had a bit of time, so I spontaneously went to this diner because it visually appealed to me from the outside. The menu offered a large selection, typical American diner. The food came very quickly and was delicious, and the milkshake and the homemade lemonade were both really good. The staff was nice and friendly.

I've been there several times now and I can't complain. The food was always delicious, lots of it and everyone was full. The service was very friendly and also took special requests that came later very seriously. The toilets were also very clean and everything was available. 👍🏻

Drinks like shakes or homemade iced tea are simply top 👍🏻 Unfortunately, the appetizer platter for €12 was all frozen but tasted ok Ribs for €21 were good. The cheeseburger was a complete disaster, Patty was “more through” than through, Burger salad belongs next to the burger in the shop 🤷🏻‍♂️ Fries were too crispy. around 12€

vor 1 Minute NEU Das Ambiente ist optisch typisch und gut, doch leider sitzt man auf recht durchgesessenen Bänken. Das Essen ist nicht günstig aber durchaus ok. Ganz schlimm ist allerdings der Service. Man wird nicht über fehlende Beilagen informiert, sitzt nach dem Essen ewig vor den leeren Tellern und auch für Trinkgeld gibt es kein Danke oder gar den Wunsch für einen schönen Abend. Muss ich nicht nochmal haben. Schade, könnte cool sein !

The ambience is visually typical and good, but unfortunately you sit on very squat benches. The food isn't cheap but it's okay. However, the service is really bad. You are not informed about missing side dishes, you sit in front of empty plates for ages after your meal and there is no thank you for a tip or even a wish for a nice evening. I don't have to have it again. Too bad, could be cool!

The burger I ate there was okay. Unfortunately the fries were very soggy. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels like you are in America.

A really great restaurant. Because of all the reviews here we had doubts about whether we should go, but in the end it was not too bad. Excellent food, large portions, friendly service and lots of choice.

On Superbowl night the service was relatively overwhelmed. Maybe they were surprised that the store was so busy. But the burger was decent! Cocktails so-so.

Very detailed furnished diner in the style of the 60's on 2 floors. ! The plates with celebrities from the era of petticoats and rock 'n roll are absolutely brilliant little things :) As usual, the food was fresh and super tasty 😋 What's new is that the fries (in different versions) are now made from freshly cut potatoes and are no longer frozen! It tastes so much better! The milkshakes and the strawberry bowl for dessert are highly recommended! The service is very friendly, attentive and fast!

Food (cheeseburger) was so-so, I'm used to much better from this sixties. Definitely not worth the price. Service seemed pretty disinterested and you had to wait a while to get the card. For me it was the last visit after a long time, then when I feel like a decent burger I have to go to Mariendorfer Damm :) Addendum: Even a year later it's no different...

Delicious burgers in a suitable environment. Just have a diner! And the service was also attentive and friendly.

Everything was great, it was just a little fresh, which is probably due to the large glass fronts. But the service and food were great!

Fries were greasy and limp, Alster was prepared incorrectly so there was only soda at the bottom and beer at the top! Burgers were made wrong, ingredients were forgotten like my fried egg on the burger. Ordered a table for 8 people and they wanted to squeeze us into a 6 person table. Totally incompetent... In addition, the menu had a choice of sweet potatoes, fries or baked potatoes. My partner had sweet potatoes and you should pay €1.50 more for them. But there was nothing about that on the menu! The ambience was very nice, even if music from the fifties was playing.😅👌🏻 That's what happens when everyone thinks they can open a restaurant just like that.

First & last time to eat there. Food is like frozen rewe packages. The burgers are really dry and not tasty. I think their ketchup/mayo/mustard are out of date... very liquidy. Milkshakes were really good though

Great ambience, friendly service, great 60s music was played which is a must. Rap music was played in Sixxties Mariendorfer Damm, a NO GO. Breakfast delicious, cocktails too.

We would easily give it 6 stars. Everything is perfect here. The ambience, the music from the 60s (no rap music like in Sixties Mariendorf) and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was super tasty and served on plates with the stars of the 60s. We will go here more often in the future. Thanks to the Sixties Clayallee team.

Unfortunately it's no longer the way it used to be Inventory run down, food was so-so, spare ribs tasted old and dry, the best thing was the milk shake! Staff nice, but there are noises everywhere, ok it was funny too! It's like it is! That was the last attempt, nothing changed, just the prices! Spareribs looked good, but the taste, forget it, Pasta was cold and tasteless, burger without words! No matter never ever!

There was no toilet paper in the women's toilets, a faucet didn't work at all, but there was no "broken" sign. It was way too narrow. The food was delicious. We just didn't understand why it was served on wooden boards, they store bacteria. For dessert we ordered two banana splits but only got one. Then it was said that the banana splits were gone. It's not understandable, they should already have enough in stock. So again, I don't necessarily have to go there.

Nicht zu empfehlen ! Raucherbereich gesperrt bzw. obere Etage (Bei Wind und Wetter) Kein Hinweisschild, dass es oben gesperrt ist, merken Sie selber wenn nach 30 min. keine Bedienung kommt.

Die Kellner sorgen dafür das der Laden nicht schließt. Das Essen ist eine Katastrophe!! Finger Food kommt mit schwarzen Wings und die Burger schmecken nach altem Fett. Nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man auf gutes Essen wert legt.

Leider mein letztes Mal. Die Lion Ribs waren zur Hälfte ungenießbar, da die hintere Hälfte fast nur aus Fett bestand. Die Pommes ehr fade als Knusprig. Und eine Bestellung in unserer Gruppe wurde falsch zusammengestellt. Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr unfreundlich, wussten teilweise selbst nicht was sie servierten, kommunizierten quer durch den Gastraum mit den Gästen. Auf Reklamation bzgl der Ribs reagierte der Kellner sehr gleichgültig.

In die Jahre gekommen... leider es wäre mal angebracht es wieder auf vordermann zu bringen. Einige sitzbänke sind total durch gesessen. An den Tischen gehen die Scharniere ab. Auf dem weg zur Toilette stinkt es nach pipi und Gulli. Das Essen war gut aber der Preis nicht angebracht für diese Verhältnisse sry. Aber Service war super

Hier stimmt alles. Gutes authentisches Essen zu günstigen Preisen und das Personal hat immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Kann man auch super frühstücken gehen wenn man es gerne ausgefallen hat. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls der Hammer! Immer wieder gerne!

Wer zu Sixties geht muss auch damit rechnen, dass er/sie in einem großen Teller mit Cheddar überbackenes Essen kriegt. Schmeckt alles lecker vor allem die Pommes aber ist halt nix für feine Leute :) Die Mitarbeiter sind in allen Filialen etwas langweilig und desinteressiert - wenn man es positiv betrachten will wird beim essen halt nicht gestört

Bedienung nett, Cola gut, Mittagskarte zu moderaten Preisen, Burger Standart aber gut, Pommes lecker, Ambiente typisch Diner, Sitzbänke haben inzwischen etwas gelitten. Kann man aber hingehen :)

Ich war gestern am Montag da alleine Hat echt lecker geschmeckt der Cheeseburger und die Pommes.

Offensichtlich wird bei den Lebensmitteln nicht sehr auf Hygiene geachtet... Magen stark verdorben. Schade, die Atmosphäre lässt mehr vermuten.

Mein Lieblingsort in Zehlendorf. Oben gibt es ein Raucherabteil (bin seit 3 Jahren Nichtraucher). Finde es für meine rauchenden Freundinnen aber toll. Personal ist sehr nett und die Musik ist der Hammer!!

Das Sixties ansich ist gut aber die Kellner sollten mal an ihrer Freundlichkeit arbeiten das essen war ok aber hätte meiner Meinung nach noch besser sein können der Cocktail war sehr lecker

We brought a group of 11 students to have dinner together. The service was really good, the waitress (blonde hair) was extremely helpful, kind and understanding. The drinks and meals arrived in a timely manner and the she also helped organise taxis. Thank you!

Restaurant mit hellem amerikanischen Charme, sauber,mit interessanten Wandbildern von bekannten amerikanischen Schauspieler/ innen und Sänger/innen / Ikonen! Essen super lecker und frisch ! Bedienung ist freundlich, zuvorkommend manchmal etwas zu schleppend ,aber bemüht! Komme gerne immer wieder!!!

Online Reserviert für Freitag Abend, der Laden war so leer das wir uns einfach einen Platz in einer der beiden Etagen aussuchen sollten. Nach 20 min. Fragten wie die mehrmals an uns vorbeilaufende Bedienung ob wir etwas bestellen dürften. Die Bestellung wurde eingegeben und weitere 15 min später kamen die Getränke. Die Kellnerin war etwas ungeschickt und das Tablett mit dem Radler kippte um und zersplittert am Boden. Von uns wurde niemand getroffen. Der Boden wurde grob gewischt und die grössten Splitter entfernt. Der Tisch wurde mit Servietten gereinigt. Bis wir gegen halb 12 den Laden verließen wischte auch niemand den Tisch mal feucht ab. Der Boden klebte so doll das es jedesmal Geräusche machte wenn jemand lang lief. Das Bürger waren solides Mittelmaß. Die Toiletten sahen sahen ordentlich aus, stanken aber bestislisch nach Urin. Die Klotür wurde mittels eines Feuerlöscher offen gehalten, vll. Wurde Damit der Gestank etwas reduziert. Die Kellner zickten sich gegenseitig an. Eine Wiederholung, so waren wir vier uns einig brauchen wir nicht.

Guter, freundlicher Service! Das Essen ist lecker und reichlich, die Preise fair. Die Einrichtung ist typisch gemütliches klassisches Diner.

Sehr lecker gegessen, das Essen war schnell am Tisch. Die Pommes waren die besten welche ich seit langem gegessen habe. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich war jetzt insgesamt 3 - 4 mal dort. Das Ambiente ist an für sich ganz nice. Die ersten Male habe ich das Essen frischer und geschmackvoller empfunden. Wenn man zu Mittagstisch geht und ein Cheeseburger bestellt (inkl. Pommes) ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Top und mit MC-Doof nicht zu vergleichen. Meiner Tochter hat es auf jeden Fall gefallen und die Bedienung war so lieb (von alleine) ein Foto für uns zu schießen.

Qualität und Preis im Ungleichgewicht ... Wir hatten u.a. einen Jalapeno-Burger, und meine Begleitung war etwas irritiert, weil rohe Scheiben der Jalapeno im Burger verteilt waren. Das kennen wir irgendwie anders :-) Anyway, die Bedienung (bei diversen Besuchen letztens immer andere Gesichter) ist aber durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam.

Looks absolutely run down. The oily smell was terrible luckily we sat outside. Not very clean. The mustard and ketchup containers were oily and sticky. We looked forward to eat here but we’re happy to leave after our burgers. Burgers were just kind of ok. Fries were terrible. Surely will not go back here again.

Unser Sohn wollte an seinem Geburtstag hier mit uns essen gehen. Eigentlich wollte er sich mit uns nach oben setzen, wie er es sonst mit seinen Freunden tat. Leider war die 1. Etage gesperrt. Nachdem wir uns dann an einen Tisch gesetzte hatten kam die Bedienung und legte uns quasi im Vorbeigehen und ohne Blickkontakt aufzunehmen die Speisekarten auf den Tisch. Bei der Bestellung war man dann doch etwas freundlicher. Keine Ahnung, was an diesem Tag nicht stimmte, aber wir hatten das Ambiente und die Stimmung im Sixties Diner in Mariendorf als deutlich angenehmer in Erinnerung. Und so kam es dann auch, daß keinem von uns Vieren das Essen so richtig geschmeckt hat. Unser Sohn sagte, daß es hier bisher nicht so war wie heute, darum gehen wir mal wohlwollend davon aus, daß wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt haben...
