Das Restaurant ist eher altbacken, die Gegend ruhig, erstaunlich wenig Touristen, obwohl der Kiez beliebt ist. Das Essen sehr gut, es sieht sauber aus und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Preise moderat, klare Empfehlung

Hair in food. Update: I have to say, it was good... 1st plural, hair! An unbelievable number of them in the take-away meal. 2. Even if it wasn't hair, it was bristles from a brush, which doesn't make things any better because it could be animal hair... 3. Lying to make yourself look better is not good (related to her answer) 4. You'd better have your cooling device seals replaced quickly before the health department comes and takes a look at the matter (no, I didn't call them, they'll come on their own) 5. Go to the babu restaurant and have a look around. P.s: I have now reduced the 2 stars in service to one. This means they would now have a 6 as their grade in the school system. I would think about whether a restaurant is the right job for her. Greetings

I’d say this could be the worst Indian restaurant in Berlin, and there is a lot of competition to get the crown. The food was bland and not tasty. Really a complete nightmare twist on Indian food. The Naan bread was acrid and particularly revolting ! Amazing that they get away with this rubbish. Service is no better. We were asked to move to another table while we were still eating in order to accommodate a bigger group of guests.

Highly recommended. Such a great and lovely service team here. We celebrated our grandpa's birthday. The food came quickly, is inexpensive and almost everything is homemade. You are also right on the canal and opposite a park. Gladly again.

Good service, good food. A must do if around that area

Beautiful, calm, and quick. Classic indian flavors with a Northern European style base curry base (strong coriander, cumin, little less turmeric I think than what you see in Carribean curry bases). Actually spicy, if you like spicy curry. I would bet a good conversation could even get you "make me sweat" spicy if you have an Asian or Spicy-American taste. Also, tons of veg and vegan options, but the meat dishes are great as well. Enjoy!

I ordered garlic naan and normal naan and they gave us bread that was packaged filled with preservatives. Very very disappointing to spent 11€ on naans that was even worse than store bought bread. Also had a very sour taste and couldn’t even finish it.

I ordered through uber. Unfortunately for €14 there were only 6 very small pieces of chicken (see photo). The sauce was also quite bland in taste, but not oversalted. Garlic naan was chewy on the bottom and difficult to chew. The delivery time was completely ok. Edit: Now a screenshot of evidence for the nonsense answer. And yes, it's the same store with the same address.

We ate at Simran for the first time on the occasion of our 16th wedding anniversary. We were very satisfied. Friendly service and advice, as there was a lot we didn't know. We were very pleasantly surprised when we were presented with a bouquet of flowers with congratulations. We will come back and definitely recommend Simran. Keep it up!

I ORDERED GOA SHORBA. NOT ENOUGH THAT I HAD TO WAIT HALF AN ETERNITY, I RECEIVED A THIN LIQUID TOMATO SOUP RICH IN FAT EYES. VISUALLY FAR AWAY FROM WHAT WAS ON THE MENU. A SHRIMP IS NOT EVEN CUT BUT SMASHED. AFTER MY COMPLAINT, THE CONDITION SAID IT HAD TO BE SO🤣. NEVER AGAIN!

A typical Indian restaurant with delicious food and fair prices. A family business where the woman who does the service is enchanting. Outside you have a view of the hustle and bustle of the Elsensteg and Wildenbruchpark on the canal.

We were here yesterday and were not disappointed. Super tasty, great service and reasonable prices, absolutely recommended! Only the coolness was a little uncomfortable. But you can also wear something more than a t-shirt in this uncomfortable weather...😉

It was our first time there and we felt very welcome. The service was very good: fast, courteous and friendly. The menu is very varied, chicken, lamb, vegetarian, there was something for each of us. The children were also very happy. We enjoyed the food very much. It was a thoroughly successful meal. We'll be back soon!

I’m a Brit and I love an Indian curry! I was told by a few friends here in Berlin that it’s not the best place in the world to find a good Indian curry (they clearly had too many bad experiences previously) but after seeing some good reviews about Simran I wanted to give it a try - and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. There was a good selection of vegan options too which was great for me! I’ve been back a few times now with other friends and it’s consistently been good. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Indian food.

Currently enjoying various restaurants in Berlin. Today we had a lovely Indian meal at Simran on Innstr. Berlin. I deliberately chose spicier dishes... and it was exactly as I imagined... significantly more than just spicy. Super nice service and obviously an owner-managed restaurant. Recommended. Plus a velvety Indian red wine. Legga. Order another Indian red wine.

A bit too much “color” in the lighting. Solid menu with reasonable selection. "Hot" actually means more than just "spicy", but still very good to eat. Mutton Vindaloo was very tasty. And there are Oberdorfer Helles on tap. What more could you want for a relaxed Sunday evening... Gladly again!

Too Much Expansive, Tulsi restaurant is better and reasonable to compare to SHIMRAN Just Making fool in Name of INDIA, I demanded little spicy dal fry... They serve like, no body can eat... and argument that our chef is use to eat this much... But I am not your chef.

1st first of all this is too much, means too much expensive. If you want to use the toilet you have to pay 1 Euro Offcourse the name is Indian, test is not all Indian. Ask to make to dal fry, spicy...but that much spicy 🔥....my God...I used to consume the raw green chillis... But with the their spicy, my body's all the 9 Holes started to cry.. In comparison to this, Tulsi resturant is much better.

Friendly service on a Sunday lunchtime. We had two dishes one was full of flavour but the other one with lentils was lacking something. Naan bread was pretty good too.
