I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the burgers were especially unique and flavorful.

Incredibly delicious hamburger within walking distance of the center. Even though I arrived a little late, I found a seat easily. The attention of the employees is very good. I ate Ebi Burger, it was very satisfying. Prices are reasonable too.

Chili burger was ok, a little bit dry

I always find the food here very tasty, I particularly like the tuna burger and the salad. I can highly recommend it, I'll always be happy to go there again.

5 stars – Unique burger enjoyment! Shiso Burger is simply unbeatable! The combination of Asian flavors and classic burger elements makes the food here very special. The burgers are juicy, perfectly seasoned and the fluffy bun rounds the whole thing off perfectly. The shiso burger with Wagyu in particular is an absolute highlight - incredibly tender meat with a great depth of flavor! The side dishes like the sweet potato fries or kimchi are also super tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy, modern and invites you to linger. The service is friendly and fast - you feel completely at home. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who loves burgers but wants to try something new!

Shiso was a pioneer of Asian fusion burgers that I think blew up in popularity about 15 or so years ago. It has become a nice casual / fast food chain that I don’t think is quite as relevant today as it was back in the day but is still quite good. So you get steam buns for burger bun here, you get sweet potato, you get hoisin sauce and the likes. The patty is quite good but overcooked which I find quite unacceptable. The taste is quite nice but I think a bit too simple and straightforward and, today there’s quite a few more ingredients you can use to make the fusion burger more enjoyable. Quite good and reasonably priced, I just don’t think it deserves any sort of hype.

There were five of us and we didn't have to wait long for a table. The vegetarian burgers as well as the ones with meat were ordered. Everything was super tasty and fresh. We didn't wait long for our food. My favorite was the toad burger. The service was super friendly, attentive and on point. Very nice experience

We were there on Saturday evening and quickly got a table after a short wait. Service is attentive. The shrimp burger was delicious, something different. The chicken bites were also delicious. The regular cheeseburger was just ok. Otherwise everything was great.

We had our first meal in Berlin here. We preferred cheeseburger and we liked it very much. The staff were very friendly, they immediately brought our baby fries and calmed him down :) The beer was also legendary👍🏻

A Culinary Delight I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shiso Burger and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I opted for their signature Shiso Burger, and it truly lived up to the hype. You have the choice of a single or double patty, and I went with the single which was plenty! The marinated tuna patty was cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful and moist. The accompanying shiso leaf, lettuce, red onion, and cilantro provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the tuna. The chilli mayo and teriyaki sauce added a delightful kick and umami depth, tying all the elements together beautifully. Honestly, every bite was a burst of deliciousness. For sides, I chose the homemade sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, a perfect complement to the burger. The coleslaw was also a standout, clearly homemade with a vibrant freshness that wasn't overly dressed. To quench my thirst, I ordered the lychee lemonade. It was incredibly refreshing and the subtle sweetness of the lychee was a perfect match for the savory burger. Finally, for dessert, I indulged in the mochi ice cream. It was a delightful way to end the meal, the chewy mochi texture encasing a creamy and flavorful ice cream. Overall, my experience at Shiso Burger was nothing short of 10/10. From the quality of the ingredients to the creative flavor combinations and the perfectly executed dishes, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Shiso Burger to anyone looking for a unique and delicious burger experience. I will definitely be returning!

Absolute highlight! The Chili Lemon Burger impresses with a perfect mix of spiciness and freshness, while the Bulgogi Burger is simply delicious with its juicy Korean beef. Both are real taste experiences. The service is also very friendly.

Good location to eat on the terrace, not very noisy street. Good choice of interesting burgers - with meat, with fish and vegetarian (not vegan!). Fish is not the same as in Mac or Hesburger, it's salmon or tuna, tasty sauce and vegetables

Food tastes very good, but the service is absolutely lacking. Me and my friend ordered two burgers at a time where only a few other customers were present. After waiting for 30 minutes without receiving any burgers, we asked a waiter where our burgers are at, and she told us to chill out!?!? Never coming here again.

Very good and different burgers. The fries are good and the drinks are very good. The design of the store makes it difficult to interact with the staff unless they happen to walk by. I would come here again on my next visit to Berlin.

A nice little burger shop where you can relax and get something tasty. The prices are reasonable and everything tastes delicious. The burgers we had (see photo) were a bit too small for my taste, but with the generous portion of fries it was fine. The staff was really friendly and it was very nice there.

The burger was very good, but unfortunately I was really disappointed with the fries... as I preferred to order the sweet potato fries.

By far the worst experience i had. Our order was randomly deleted and they didn’t notice. When we told them we reordered but were not prioritized at all. We waited 30 minutes for drinks and more than 75 minutes for a simple burger. Never again

A very cute and modern place with great vegetarian options. The sandwich has a very tasty oriental touch and the fries are super crispy! The only thing that would be better would be if the ketchup came separately.

Very good asian sandwich! We all had the bulgogi with cheddar, insanely good! I read people said it was expensive for the portion, but we think it is very filling and we were left satisfied! The toilet was a bit gross though

We can't quite understand the hype. Unfortunately, the interior of the restaurant was pretty tired and the floor was dirty. Therefore we didn't feel so comfortable. The burgers themselves were delicious (Bulgogi & Ebi), but there were too many different sauces on them for me personally. Especially with the Bulgogi Burger, the typical Bulgogi taste should be emphasized more. I almost only tasted the sauces. We thought the bun was super tasty!

Nice, high quality ingredients and delicious food. The burgers are really well made and the ingredients taste very fresh. I’m not certain but, I think their pickles have a slightly Japanese pickling touch to them. It really adds to the overall flavor of the burger! Also, their sweet potato fries are absolutely DELICIOUS! One suggestion is that I would prefer the burger to have a bit less sauce. It was. Slightly overpowering. Sharing 1 order of fries is probably enough 👌🏽

Coming from Australia and having traveled extensively, we have sampled some amazing burgers. However, the burgers at Shiso exceeded our expectations and I’m going to say the Bulgogi Burger is the best burger I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Thank you 🙏

We had a very spontaneous lunch at Shiso Burger which I actually enjoyed. The food was delicious and service was pretty quick. I really liked the minimalistic and light interior but the atmosphere and staff were not very welcoming. The prices were a bit high for the portions they’ve served, but overall I enjoyed the food. I hope next time the service will be a bit friendlier.

Bolgogi Burger is really awesome. Recommend the cheddar with it. The meat is beautifully tender and the buns are heavenly. It's not cheap, but why should it be when it comes to quality :)? Definitely worth a stay.

The meat was a bit smelly and I don't know if it was that specially delicious. The sauce and juices were so overflowing that it was difficult to eat cleanly. The Asian staff member cleared the plate even though I hadn't finished eating.

You cannot reserve a table if there are three of you. After 1.5 hours you have to leave because the table is only available for a limited time. Burger was good but very small even though I ordered double.

The restaurant combines Asian flavors with American burgers in a good way. The menu is very clear and concise. My burger was very tasty and something different than the usual Berlin burger shops like “Burgermeister” or “Kreuzburger”. Teriyaki sauce was used as a topping for my burger, which went very well. The fries, on the other hand, didn't wow me - they were pretty average. The prices are okay, but a bit higher than the shops mentioned. However, I found the burgers to be a bit too small, which doesn't make it ideal value for money. The ambience is simple and somewhat reminiscent of a fast food restaurant - but completely fine. Conclusion: Absolutely great taste! If you're in the mood for exceptional burgers, this is the place for you - but the price-performance ratio could be better.

We came from Düsseldorf and were thrilled! We had two burgers, a portion of sweet potato fries and two drinks - in total we paid €36.40. The homemade sweet potato fries were an absolute highlight, incredibly tasty! The burgers were also super fresh and tasty. The price is absolutely reasonable for the quality. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was also convincing. We'd love to come back!

The cheeseburger, the tofu burger and the ginger tea were very good. We found the sweet potato fries better than the normal fries. The ambience could be better. The service was very friendly.

Cool atmosphere, nice quick service. We didn't have a reservation, but it was no problem getting a table on Saturday evening. When we left the store, however, there were a few people waiting at the door. The Bulgogi Burger is amazing!

Very good, Asian-inspired burgers. If you are craving for ‘fast food’ with good quality and creativity, this may be place to go. It would have been my guilty pleasure , had I lived in Berlin :)

I received a very friendly welcome, great atmosphere, fast service and the food was also great.

The food was enjoyable, but the service left much to be desired. There are two vegetarian options on the burger menu, and when my vegan friend asked if the cheese could be substituted to make the burger vegan, the waitress was very unhelpful. She rudely informed us that the price wouldn't be reduced for removing ingredients, and in fact, we'd be charged extra if we wanted to replace the cheese with a different option. No alternatives were offered at all. Considering the prices, I expected better, especially since the portions were quite small for what we paid.

I was there again last night after probably 5 years - and unfortunately I'm totally disappointed, especially compared to my last visits, where the shop was smaller, but much cozier and particularly tasty. The ambience is now reminiscent of McDonald's, only adapted to Berlin Mitte, and the food (burgers, edamame and sweet potato fries) was ok, but unfortunately only lukewarm.

I heard that the shrimp burger is famous, so I tried it. It's not that great, but it's healthy and delicious🤗 It's worth trying at least once! I’m glad they gave me a bottle of cola haha.

We were satisfy from service. It was fast & good. The taste of burger was different but its' sauce was salty that make the overall taste salty. At a general it was good, not perfect.

There were eight of us at Shiso Burger and everything was great in terms of food: very tasty, very appetizingly presented, no long waiting times. The only negative aspect: despite having a reservation, we couldn't sit outside because the service staff said we would cover up the displayed menu due to the size of the group. So we went inside, which was of course a bit of a shame given the great weather.
