Shijō in Würzburg

Sehr schön eingerichtet Thesz, kleines Lokal. Bequeme Stühle, gute Tische, man fühlt sich wohl. Man sollte auf jeden Fall je nachdem welcher Tag ist und um wie viel Uhr reservieren. Wir haben Sushi und Ramen gegessen und die selbst gemachten Frühlingsrollen als Vorspeise. Alles war wirklich sehr gut gemacht und richtig lecker. Preislich denke ich normal beziehungsweise angemessen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr sehr zu empfehlen. Waren gestern das erste Mal, das Essen, der Service und das Ambiente sind echt super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Super leckeres Essen! Personal ist mega freundlich!

Das Shijo Restaurant hat mich rundum überzeugt. Schon beim Betreten fällt das tolle Ambiente auf – modern und gleichzeitig angenehm einladend. Der Service war durchweg sehr nett und aufmerksam, und auch die Wartezeit auf das Essen war absolut angemessen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Portionsgrößen sind angemessen – bei uns ist niemand (egal ob Mann oder Frau) hungrig geblieben. Geschmacklich war das Essen sehr sehr lecker. Ich wollte schon lange einmal Ramen probieren, und dafür hat sich der Weg absolut gelohnt. Meine Wahl war genau richtig, ich war mehr als zufrieden. (Parkplätze gibt es nur wenige direkt vor dem Haus, aber in direkter Umgebung eine verschiedene Parkgaragen, z.B. im Maritim-Hotel) Meine Wir waren zu fünft dort, und auch die anderen waren begeistert. Es wurde Sushi bestellt, Ramen und zusätzlich zwei Vorspeisen (Starter) – für mich persönlich wäre ein Starter zum Ramen zu viel gewesen, geschmacklich waren alle sehr zufrieden. Die Online-Reservierung lief problemlos. Da ich vorher noch nicht dort war, habe ich mich auf die positiven Bewertungen im Internet verlassen – und kann diese nur bestätigen und gerne weitergeben 🫶 Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Ich hatte einen richtig schönen Besuch im Shijo! Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Auch das Ambiente ist gemütlich, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt und gerne auch etwas länger bleibt. Evtl. kann es etwas enger werden wenn das Restaurant gut besucht ist. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Unglaublich lecker! Freundliches Personal und schönes Ambiente. Alles frisch, Blick in die Küche. Trotz vollem Laden ging es echt fix. Reservierung ist von Vorteil, v.a am Wochenende.

Aus meiner Sicht das beste Sushi in Würzburg! War schon oft dort. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben, allerdings durch die sehr gute Qualität gerechtfertigt. Besonders gut gefällt mir die schöne Inneneinrichtung.

Sushi super lecker 😋 Wir haben das essen online bestellt. Platte für 3 Personen. Es war gut angerichtet.

Das Essen war echt super, wir haben pro Nase um die 30€ gezahlt, mit Vorspeis, Sushi-Menü und Getränken, aber es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich, insbesondere hat uns der Mitarbeiter Dang sehr geholfen und den Aufenthalte verbessert. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder vorbeischauen

Wir waren mit 15 Leuten da. Essen war top und Preis-Leistung stimmt auch!

Der beste Ramen den ich je gesehen habe! Edame sehr sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich große Portionen. Alles frisch zubereitet. Tolles Service und alle waren freundlich miteinander auch! Reservieren ist besser. Ich bin selber Chef Köchin gewesen und ist sehr schwer begeistert zu sein von essen im Restaurant. Deswegen möchte ich Shijo Loben für eine Michelin Stern Qualität. Dankeschön und bis bald wieder.

Die Suppe und die Zutaten sind super, aber die Ramen-Nudeln sind schlecht (verkocht und teigig).

Das Essen ist wirklich gut aber der Service ist wirklich sehr sehr schlecht. Man wartet extrem lange darauf das jemand die Bestellung aufnimmt, man wartet auch oft sehr lange auf das Essen und auch sehr lang darauf dass jemand mal kommt und einen abkassiert. Das wäre natürlich vertretbar wenn viel los wäre aber das passiert auch wenn nur 4 Tische da sind.

Super leckeres Essen, netter Service. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren heute mit der Familie essen und hatten insgesamt einen eher durchwachsenen Eindruck. Bei der Ramen-Suppe waren deutlich zu viele Nudeln enthalten, obwohl ich bereits zu Beginn darum gebeten hatte, weniger zu bekommen. Auch das war letztlich noch zu viel. Eigentlich wollten wir vor allem wegen des Sakes kommen, doch dieser war nicht verfügbar – obwohl er als Highlight des Hauses gilt. Als Alternative gab es leider auch keinen anderen Verdauungsschnaps. Das Essen selbst war grundsätzlich lecker, jedoch ließ die Bedienung die bereits fertigen Cocktails sehr lange auf der Theke stehen, sodass sie ihre Spritzigkeit verloren hatten. Sushi war in Ordnung, aber ebenfalls kein besonderes Highlight. Alles in allem war es okay, aber für die nächste Zeit werde ich wohl nicht noch einmal hingehen.

Es war richtig lecker, frisch vor einem zubereitet und der Service war auch sehr schnell sowie freundlich. Gerne kommen wir wieder :)

Ein kleines, schön eingerichtetes Lokal. Man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte umfasst Sushi und Rahmen. Klingt nach nicht viel aber dafür sind sie darin wirklich Meister. Egal was man hier bestellt, es ist geschmacklich Weltklasse. Die Ramen sind wirklich geschmacklich unglaublich gut. Geheimtipp!: Nehmt eine Lemon Soda als Getränk Eine klare Empfehlung

Das Shusi ist perfekt. Ein paar andere Alternativen als Hauptgang wären gut. Das Restaurant war nicht sehr voll, trotzdem kam unser Essen (2Personen) nicht gleichzeitig.

Wir haben eine Reservierung am gleichen Tag erhalten, wurden sehr freundlich emfangen und bedient. Wir hatten Vorspeisen, Ramen und Sushi, alles frisch zubereitet und mega lecker! Wir kommen definitiv wieder, auch wenn wir 45 Minuten fahren müssen. Es lohnt sich wirklich!

Wow! Einfach nur wow! Gemütliches Abendessen zu zweit im Shijō? Eine fantastische Idee! Vorneweg: Preislich ist man mit Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Getränk so zwischen 25-30€. Die Hauptspeisen selber (das Highlight) sind alle im 10-20€ Bereich. Also sehr akzeptabele Preise. Essen: Ich hatte Ramen auf Soja-Basis mit Schwein und meine Begleitung eine Kollektion verschiedener Sushi, dazu noch Gyoza und frittiertes Hühnchen als Vorspeise. Die Ramen waren der Hammer!! Sehr leckere Nudeln, gute Gemüse Auswahl in der Suppe. (Hierbei sind insbesondere die leckeren Pilze hervorzuheben, deren Name ich vergessen habe). Die Suppe war aber eigentlich das beste. Denn dadurch daß sich das Schweinefleisch zum Teil in der Suppe aufgelöst hat, wurde man allein vom Schlürfen/Trinken der Suppe satt. Ich habe sie am Ende tatsächlich nicht ganz geschafft, was sonst nie bei Gerichten passiert. Die verschiedenen Sushi waren auch sehr lecker und sind besonders durch die verrückten Variationen aufgefallen :) Gyoza war fein, nur vom frittierten Hühnchen würde ich abraten. Das war irgendwie ein sehr großer Block, anstatt gut in einzelne Scheiben geschnitten worden zu sein. Service: Zuvorkommend und nett. Hat uns mehrfach gefragt ob alles passt. Man kann nicht meckern. Ambiente: Sehr ansprechend. Schönes Holz-Design zwischen Japanisch-schlicht und doch auch schick. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner und leckerer Besuch, ich werde wiederkommen.

A truly lovely evening in a very cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious; we had ramen and were all thrilled. We'll definitely be back! 👍🙂

I ordered this restaurant's shoyu paitan ramen on the wolt app. I can't understand the positive reviews about this place. It didn't taste like Japanese food at all, and it was so rich I couldn't finish it. It had ramen ingredients, but it smelled like Chinese food. It was completely indecipherable. Is this what Europeans think of Japanese cuisine? I couldn't leave a proper review on wolt, and since the information (address, menu, etc.) on wolt is identical to this place, I'm leaving a review here. If the shijo on wolt is different from this place, please leave a comment.

I ordered ramen with fried chicken. It came with pork ramen and an extra fried chicken on a plate...

We were at Shijo with seven people (ages 14-73). Food Simply fantastic. We had vegetable gyoza and chicken karaage as appetizers. Everyone was especially impressed with the sauce that accompanied the karaage. For my main course, I had ramen (shoyu/paitan). A very generous portion with toppings, just as you would expect. Extremely delicious and highly recommended. Atmosphere The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and doesn't have too many seats. Reservations are highly recommended.

Was looking forward to this but unfortunately the vegan ramen was pretty ordinary and oily. There are a selection of other vegetarian options, but not a great variety. Didn’t try any of the sushi/nigiri which could have been a safer choice.

We had a really lovely evening at Shijō! The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Perfect for dining on a rainy, cold night. The ramen was simply the best we've had so far. We'd love to come back!

My absolute favorite restaurant. The best ramen in town, and the sushi is also excellent and beautifully presented. A lovely Japanese atmosphere and friendly staff.

Delicious ramen, friendly service, would go back anytime

I've been there three times so far for ramen! The first time, it was very tasty, but after that, it's been a bit lacking. The broth wasn't very flavorful, and the noodles were very thin (almost glass noodles), which doesn't suit the ramen. On the other hand, they serve two eggs and a large portion.

Very tasty, but unfortunately not authentically Japanese (e.g., onions in the broth). But really delicious, and the portions were also very large. The appetizers and drinks were delicious! 🍲

The noodles were fried in a generous amount of oil, which significantly diminished their flavor. The oil was overwhelming, unfortunately obscuring the distinct flavors of the ingredients. In the Netherlands, much less oil is typically used, so I was quite disappointed. The duck breast, however, was flavorful and deliciously crispy, and the soup beforehand was also delicious and had a good consistency.

There were two of us here, and we both had ramen. It was incredibly delicious, and the service was super friendly.

Shijo is part of Madame Nguyen's restaurant, but the service and ambiance are much better here. The sushi is quite good, and the ramen is okay, but not like real ramen.

A very good restaurant with top-notch service. Everything is freshly prepared; highly recommended. Reservations are definitely recommended, as seating is quite limited.

The atmosphere is very cozy and the food is extremely authentic. It tastes like Japan. Every time I was there, the waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. However, everything was resolved amicably. I've already made a reservation for my next visit and am looking forward to it.

This was my first time here, and I was more than pleasantly surprised. Friendly service, attractive decor, delicious food. I can't judge whether it's authentic. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The food is of impeccable quality. The service was chaotic, unfriendly and completely disinterested. After 90 minutes we were turned away from the table because new guests were already “waiting”. Absolute impudence. We had a dinner date with business friends. That was beyond embarrassing. If you work in multiple table times, you should spell this out clearly and that is exactly not the case. Ergo: never here again!

Ordered something from shijō for the first time today. We were not disappointed and were very enthusiastic. We also found it very good that the filling was not included in the broth but was delivered separately.

We wanted to eat ramen in Würzburg and came across Shijo. That was the best decision. The food was very tasty and the service was also great. Very attentive and friendly staff.

It was our first time eating there and we loved it. Very nice restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious. Never had ramen so good!! We live 1 hour away from Würzburg and we would ONLY come back because of the restaurant!!

The food itself was good, I had the Shio ramen with chintan broth. The broth was described as strong, but it wasn't very flavorful in itself. The gyoza itself was quite tasty, the service was friendly, but overall it was average, especially for the price.

We had made a reservation a week in advance and traveled specifically from Munich. Apparently the restaurant overbooked and wanted to sit us (3 people) at a small table for two in the middle of the passage. An absolute no-go and disgrace! Not a word of apology! Never again!!!

Their own homemade noodle was super fresh with chewy texture and the soup base was unbelievably delectable. The best Ramen I had (personal opinion). I would recommend anybody who wants to taste the good food.

We were there on Saturday without a reservation and were fortunately able to get a spot. You can choose from sushi, a variety of delicious appetizers and ramen. Vegan dishes are available and labeled. I find the number pleasant. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, fast service and the most important thing - really tasty food. As we learned at the next table, you can vary the composition of the dishes to your heart's content. Overall, a real recommendation. I recommend making reservations on the weekend to be on the safe side.

Ordered today from Shijo via Wolt. Well what can I say, order vegan ramen, spring rolls and sushi. I got ramen with pork and egg, and spring rolls were also missing. Only the sushi was right. I will avoid the store immediately.

My friends ordered sushi and thought it was great. I had ramen, which unfortunately wasn't to my liking. We have to wait about an hour for our food, the drinks didn't come quickly either, the waiting time was about 25 minutes, even though the shop wasn't full. The waitresses weren't very friendly, neither of them. You could be a little nicer to your guests.

I enjoyed the ramen a lot. The portion was massive but full of flavor, which helped me a lot to deal with the cold weather. It was my first time trying veggie sushi, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was stunning and the staff speak English.

So good that I went back for a second night. Lovely welcoming service. Great cocktails- the lychee one was delish. It was super super busy on my first night but everything arrived quickly. And the salmon sushi (the Naomi) was next level amazing. Highly recommend this place. But maybe make a reservation - it’s popular.

My girlfriend and I love Asian food. While looking for a ramen restaurant, we came across “Shijo” and agreed relatively quickly that we wanted to eat there. We drove an extra 50km 🙈 But it was really worth it. The conditions were super polite, the atmosphere was really nice and inviting. As for the food, I really have to say that it was my best ramen so far! Absolute recommendation 10/10, definitely again.

This was our first time at Shijo. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and gives a nice Japanese vibe. For starters the gyoza with meat were very tasty. Plus the homemade iced tea. Mega! The ramen for the main course was gigantic! Very tasty, fresh and versatile. This is exactly how you want your ramen! The service was also very attentive and tried very hard to fulfill all wishes. We'll be back!

The Shijō has modern furnishings and the ambience is very nice. The food was tasty, but not super special. For the drink I ordered the Shijo Yuzu lemonade as I love yuzu. However, it hardly tasted like that, but rather like passion fruit. As a starter I ordered summer rolls with vegetables (No.4), crispy, tasty, but very greasy and unfortunately a bit cold. No. 601-tuna sushi and No. 605a-tempura shrimp and salmon on top. Both were very tasty. The service… a nice guy who served alone in the restaurant on Friday evening. Price-performance is completely within the framework. ☺️

Despite the almost empty restaurant, they acted as if a lot of things were reserved and sat us next to the cloakroom. The good seats remained empty. The food is absolutely disproportionate to the prices.
