Ich war das erste Mal mit meinem Freund hier. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Sie waren sehr schnell, die Portionen waren super groß und sie haben eine Riesen Auswahl. Wir werden auch wieder kommen ☺️ Liebe Grüße aus Zypern!

Wow! Dieses Restaurant ist fantastisch! Ein charmantes Lokal, ein superfreundlicher und hilfsbereiter Kellner und mit das beste türkische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Geschmack und Qualität entsprachen genau dem, was ich in Ankara und Istanbul erlebt habe. Ich hatte Çiftlık Güvec und meine Frau das ähnliche vegetarische Gericht. Unser Kellner empfahl uns, Fladenbrot und Knoblauchkartoffeln zu bestellen, damit wir beides teilen und probieren konnten. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Ararat Restaurant. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und sehr authentisch – man merkt sofort die Qualität der Zutaten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Nach guten Erfahrungen i.d. Vergangenheit wurden wir diesmal sehr entäuscht. Uns wurde eine Lammkeule mit Gemüse u. "gestampften" Kartoffeln empfohlen. Rosmarinkartoffeln waren nicht verfügbar, daher stimmten wir ausnahmweise zu. Serviert wurde eine in Kartoffelbrei "stehende" gekochte (!), nicht gegrillte Lammkeule (aus dem Dampfgarer) mit labriger, weißer Haut (!) ohne Gemüse, aber in einer farblosen undefinierbaren Soße. Kein Farbklecks, keinerlei Deko am Teller - garnix. Einfach nur schlecht.

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant, das in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt hat. Die Speisen waren unglaublich lecker – man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Herz gekocht wird. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, durch die man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Absolute Empfehlung bei einem Besuch in Würzburg. Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist einfach cok güzel, ein Traum! Besonders zu empfehlen ist die scharfe Linsensuppe, so gut!

It was a spontaneous decision; everything was delicious and fresh, my Dorado was 👍, the Turkish wine was also good, and the prices were reasonable. The service was acceptable. We didn't sit inside, so the ambiance was good; there were comfortable chairs outside, and it was relatively quiet for a street in Sanderau.

It's really a joke, because once you understand it, you'll understand why you've probably fallen for it a few times before - especially in unfamiliar cities - and thought you were choosing No. 1, when in fact, No. 1 could also be No. 30. Truly outrageous - Tripadvisor should stop misleading people immediately and rectify this. On the recommendation of friends, we drove 100km from Bamberg to try the food for ourselves. The food came very quickly and we didn't have to wait long. The town was nice and quiet, with no disturbing cars. The staff were very friendly and great. The food tasted great. We'd go back anytime.

Our visit to this restaurant was an absolute nightmare. After politely pointing out a hair in the food, we were not only ignored, but also insulted, shouted at, and even physically threatened. The chef behaved extremely aggressively and raised his hand at my husband, completely unacceptable and appalling behavior. Instead of apologizing or responding professionally, we were treated in an openly racist and degrading manner. The situation escalated to the point where we had to call the police, which alone demonstrates how intolerable this behavior was. Conclusion: Anyone who values ​​dignity, safety, and humanity should definitely avoid this restaurant. This kind of behavior has no place in the restaurant industry or anywhere else.

It's no coincidence that it's been a staple of Würzburg's gastronomy for decades! It's also the only truly authentic Turkish restaurant in Würzburg (excluding the classic kebab shop, in this case). The Sahan Köfte and Adana Kebap were truly delicious, but the veggie pot, on the other hand, could have been had in any run-of-the-mill German restaurant, and the yogurtlu didn't exactly blow us away either! The prices were definitely a bit too high! The biggest drawback, however, is the service. We felt completely unwelcome here and felt like we were ignored the entire evening! The worst of it was when we had to pay by card, they said, "Do you really have to? Don't you have cash?" The place has been around for 35 years. It's practically an institution in Würzburg. The concept seems to prove the place right; unfortunately, I won't be returning!

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Würzburg – 5 Sterne sind eigentlich zu wenig! Ich habe schon viele Restaurants ausprobiert, aber das Restaurant Ararat hat mich komplett begeistert. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die warme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Team ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt – echte türkische Gastfreundschaft eben! Das Essen? Ein Traum! Frisch, authentisch und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet, dass man jeden Bissen genießt. Besonders empfehlenswert: das Adana Kebab und die hausgemachten Mezze – einfach nur wow! Dazu ein perfekt abgestimmter Ayran und zum Abschluss ein traditioneller Mokka – besser geht’s nicht. Preis-Leistung ist top, die Portionen sind mehr als großzügig, und auch der Liefer- und Abholservice funktioniert reibungslos. Great Turkish restaurant with a large selection – a really nice evening I was at Ararat in Würzburg on a Saturday evening because I immediately noticed the good reviews on Google and the delicious pictures on the menu. The restaurant is a little outside of the city center - about 20 minutes away - but after our day of shopping it was just right. I called shortly beforehand and asked if there was anything available and was immediately greeted in a friendly manner on the phone. When we arrived, the store was well stocked, rather inconspicuous from the outside, but you could already tell that something was going on. Inside, the Ararat is beautifully decorated in an oriental style - cozy and with an atmosphere. A few corners were a bit too dark for my taste, but overall it was really harmonious and pleasant. The greeting was warm, probably the same person on the phone. We were seated quickly, the menu arrived quickly and the selection was large but not overwhelming. I chose swordfish with potato slices and cacık. Since I'm a bit cautious when it comes to yogurt, I asked if there were alternatives. The waitress was super open, explained that the yoghurt was a natural product, and we even had a brief conversation about nutrition - I found it really pleasant. My companion had a starter salad, which looked great, but was unfortunately a bit overloaded with dressing - half of it would have been enough. After about 15 minutes our main courses arrived. And wow – the food was not only beautifully presented, but also tasted great. The potato slices were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and really well seasoned. The swordfish was mega - juicy, aromatic, with oriental spices, you even saw whole peppercorns and herbs. The white wine sauce was great and went well with the fish. The only small negative point: due to the amount of sauce, the potatoes were unfortunately a bit soggy at the bottom. I think they should stay crispy - maybe just use less sauce or serve them separately. But that's complaining at a high level. By the way, the cacık was also really tasty – fresh, creamy, exactly how you want it. My companion's meal with three different types of fish was also great. Everything was perfectly grilled, really juicy – ​​there was nothing to complain about. The prices are a bit high, but honestly: absolutely fair for the quality, the portions and the all-round great food. We both went home really full and satisfied - and that's the most important thing in the end. I'll definitely go there again - next time I'll try the vegetarian or meat dishes, they sounded really good too. And who knows, maybe the amount of sauce will be changed by then – that would definitely be cool. Thanks to the team for the lovely evening – I absolutely recommend it!

We were here first in 2016 and again in December 2024. Reservation was made quickly. Parking space in front of the door was soon found. Service 5+, you have to say, it wasn't rush hour and only half full, but here the guest is not just a number. Great.‼️ I had lamb liver as a main course and would give that a 5 🌟+.
