Shi - The Pleasure of Asia Cuisine - Köln in Köln

When we arrived the waitress said that it might take longer until we got the food but there was hardly anything going on. There were many tables full of dishes outside even though there were no guests present. They ran out of wine and the waitresses kept walking past the full tables with dishes. It wasn't a pretty sight when everything was full. The appetizer came With the main course, which was a shame. The sweet and sour sauce was totally watery. But the main course was very good. Dear team, when everyone clears the table straight away and doesn't run to the kitchen empty, things look completely different.

The food is okay but a bit expensive. The portions are large. The place was also beautiful

Unfortunately the food wasn't good for the price. The shi noodles were cheap and for hygiene reasons we had to exchange dirty dishes. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

The Asian restaurant has a simple and beautiful interior that creates a pleasant atmosphere. The waiter was nice and friendly, but unfortunately a bit sleepy - our ordered cocktail was only taken after the first one had already been served. The *Asia Basil Smash* didn't convince us with its price-performance ratio as it was too expensive for this quantity. The food was good, but our favorite Asian takeaway still makes it better in our opinion. Will we come again? 🤔 Maybe, but we're not sure yet.

So it was way too cold in there, I ordered a beef soup with fish sauce and hot chilies. What a tasteless soup, neither chili nor fish sauce. When asked, the chili has run out, I should put in the red paste. So never again sorry and bye

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A real compliment to Asian cuisine! I absolutely loved my visit to this restaurant! The meal was worth every penny - the fried noodles with crispy chicken were the best I've ever tasted, and the duck was incredibly tender and very tasty. Everything was served quickly and the service was friendly and attentive. I was also impressed by the ambience: stylishly furnished, cozy and with a pleasant atmosphere. The homemade lemonades are a refreshing addition to the meal and round off the perfect taste experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Asian cuisine!

I recently visited Phi Restaurant and would like to share my positive experience. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, which made the visit very pleasant. The food was really tasty and we loved it. This was our second visit and this time we were there with small children. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and child-friendly, which is important for and. I would particularly like to highlight Elisha, who took excellent care of us. She was very helpful and made our stay even more pleasant. Overall, I can only recommend the Shi restaurant – it is definitely worth a visit!

We were very disappointed with the service today. Our area was constantly skillfully avoided and ignored. Some of the tables around us waited even longer than we did to even order. We asked three times for our main course and were put off by the kitchen. Only when we wanted to leave early after two hours did the dishes come flying out of the kitchen. The toilets, the hallway area and the tables were not cleaned or cleared away. You have lost us as customers. Sorry.

Overall, a good experience with potential for improvement. There were four of us in the Shi, we had reserved in advance, but it wasn't necessary, there was free choice of seating. After we decided on the food, it came quite quickly. The portions were very generous and filling. However, you should not equate the pictures on the cards with the reality of the pasta dishes. In the end, the dishes are comparable to those in other Asian fast-food restaurants, but they are definitely tasty and at least not in a box or aluminum bowl, but neatly prepared. The service was very friendly, many thanks to Zehra and the other service staff! :)

I ate at this Asian restaurant for the first time today. I only have one word for it. Disappointed. The food was okay but not particularly appetizing and there wasn't even a glass with my drink. I wouldn't come here again.

Food was quite ok. Dessert not really. Canned pineapple in batter. On the map it looks deluxe, in reality it looks rather sad. Ambience was good. Overall, unfortunately not worth the money.

We had a fantastic evening and can only recommend it! As soon as we entered we were warmly greeted and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is stylish but cozy, and the ambience invites you to linger.

The employees seem to choose who they bring the food to. 5 tables that arrived significantly later than we got their food before us. We waited for the food for almost an hour. Very poor service.

+ very friendly staff + very chic, cozy atmosphere + sufficient selection of dishes + huge portions (you could even have eaten it for two) + sometimes there is a free after-work cocktail from 5 p.m + delicious drinks & dishes + good value for money - Rice/noodle dishes could have been a little spicier (but there are spices on the table)

In order to have enough time for dinner before a ProSieben broadcast, we were in the restaurant at 4:30 p.m. and it was max. a third full. Even at this early time the service was poorly organized and rather chaotic. In addition to the drinks, we ordered a starter and a main course. The starter (spring roll vegetarian and with chicken) was bland and not a hit in terms of taste. The main course didn't come at all because we had to leave at 5:50 p.m. (more than an hour after placing the order). Despite repeated requests from the service, the kitchen did not manage to serve the main course in a reasonable time. The restaurant is loud, hectic and poorly managed and there was no feeling of comfort. We then grabbed something next door at Five Guys so we could at least eat something... So that was nothing! Unfortunately no recommendation, maybe the L'Osteria on the left or the Five Guys on the right next door.

We waited forever for our food. The waiter just ignored you. Then they got up and left. It doesn't work at all!

Absolutely catastrophic no go man, speaks to the waiter after an hour of waiting. You don't get an answer when the food is ready. You are ignored and people walk past you. No understanding was shown, never again not recommended.

Tasteful ambience with enough space for the neighboring table. Very friendly and attentive service. The food was very tasty, appetizingly prepared and plentiful. Very good value for money Gladly again!

We spontaneously went to Shi and were happy to come in with our little dog. Wednesday evening there was plenty of space and free choice of seating. We sat down in a padded roundel, which was also quite comfortable. The food selection is quite broad and looked good in other ways too. The card is well presented and not so run of the mill. We had 3 dishes plus a starter and drinks. Everything is delicious, good to look at and plentiful. The service was nice and quick. For us it was the first visit but certainly not the last. Unfortunately, our first visit was also our last. Unfortunately our food was pretty messed up. We were served seasoned, fried noodles instead of the rice we ordered for 2 of 3 dishes. That didn't go well with the food we ordered. When we were served we were boldly told that there was no more rice. Later, dishes with rice kept coming out of the kitchen. There was no response to our request. For the third dish, tofu was served with the rice noodles instead of chicken. That wasn't addressed either. Only the homemade lemonade was delicious. For the money I expect reasonable meals and a functioning kitchen.

It is a wonderful place to get closer to yourself and your colleagues. The staff is very friendly and attentive. No matter whether we want peace of mind or we need advice. It seems to me as if the waiters notice when we need help and are there straight away. Thank you very much, I'll be happy to come back!

I really expected more and was unfortunately disappointed. The staff seemed overwhelmed and my sister's food was burnt.

The restaurant impresses with a warm and inviting atmosphere and excellent food at fair prices - I almost gave it 5 stars for that. But Mo's excellent service took the experience to a whole new level. His friendly, calm and unobtrusive manner as well as the attention he showed us were simply impressive. Absolutely recommended!
