COCO Ramen - Sushi - Asian kitchen in Köln

Das war definitiv eines der schlechtesten Ramen, die ich je gegessen habe, obwohl ich schon viele Restaurants in Belgien und Spanien besucht habe. Es landet ganz unten auf meiner Liste. Die Brühe war zwar in Ordnung und recht schmackhaft, aber der Rest konnte da nicht mithalten: Die Nudeln waren zu hart und das Fleisch zwar okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Insgesamt war es nur mittelmäßig, was angesichts der recht hohen Preise und der 4,6/5-Bewertung des Restaurants enttäuschend ist. Meiner Erfahrung nach spiegelt diese Bewertung nämlich nicht die Qualität des Essens wider.

Das Karaage Ramen war unglaublich lecker! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und geduldig. Das Ambiente hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswert (10/10).

Optisch war das Essen wirklich ansprechend angerichtet, und auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider konnte das Essen geschmacklich überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Das Curry hatte kaum einen stimmigen Curry-Geschmack und wirkte insgesamt unausgewogen. Sowohl das Curry als auch die Nudeln waren zudem deutlich zu salzig, sodass das Essen leider kaum genießbar war. Zusätzlich waren die Toiletten in einem sehr schlechten Zustand: Sie waren deutlich verschmutzt, außerdem gab es weder Toilettenpapier noch Handtuchpapier. Das hat den Gesamteindruck leider weiter verschlechtert. Sehr schade, da der erste Eindruck und der Service eigentlich positiv waren.

Ganz ehrlich: ich finde die Bewertung insgesamt zu hoch. Das Gyoza war tot frittiert, und die Sauce schmeckt einfach nur salzig nach Soja, also nichts besonderes. Bei dem anderen Gericht war das Gemüse okay und der Reis auch – jedoch, die Sauce war einfach übertrieben und nicht wirklich lecker. Abzug beim Service gibt’s definitiv, weil man erst ab 30 € Karte zahlen kann. Das ist heutzutage einfach unzeitgemäß.

Das Karaage Ramen war köstlich!

Shoyu-Ramen und Gyouza. Das beste, was ich je gegessen habe – besser als alles, was ich in meinen sechs Monaten in Japan probieren konnte.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Nr. 93 und Nr. 60 sind sehr zu empfehlen. Das vegane Ramen (60) ist nicht zu scharf, einzeln schmeckt man beim Tofu die Schärfe raus, aber sonst ist es für jemand der ein bisschen Schärfe mag sehr machbar! Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren auch sehr lecker weil sie schön heiß bei uns ankamen, die kühlen sonst so schnell ab und sind dann nicht mehr so gut, wenn sie an den Tisch gebracht werden. Das war bei uns nicht der Fall, der Laden war allerdings auch nicht sehr voll (Mittwoch Abend). Einzug das Ambiente könnte etwas angenehmer gestaltet sein, es gibt viele Tische mit Banken ohne Lehne, und weniger große Tische (4 oder mehr) mit richtigen Stühlen mit Lehne. Außerdem ist es etwas dunkel in dem Laden, man hat zwar eine kleine Tischlampe am Tisch, ich fand es aber trotzdem zu dunkel (findet jemand anders vielleicht gemütlich:))

Die Ramen waren sehr lecker. Leider fand ich aber einen Plastikfaden in der Suppe. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte und die tatsächlichen Preise sind unterschiedlich. Beim Bezahlen wurde mir ein anderer Preis genannt. Das war ärgerlich. Ich habe auch keine Quittung bekommen.

Wir hatten mittags Hühner-Ramen mit extra Nudeln und es hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Kellner war sehr nett und freundlich, und die Portionen sind wirklich groß. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Ich finde es einfach super! Das Essen und der Service war magisch. Und die Getränke wurden sehr schnell gebracht und das Essen ist warm und gut gemacht. Wow das ist einfach ein Traum!

Genießt Essen! Wunderbares Ramen. Absolut köstlich! Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, und ich liebe Lächeln. Ein toller Ort zum Mittagessen, auch mit der ganzen Familie. Es gibt Kindergerichte und milde Speisen. Das Ramen ist köstlich! Die Nudeln und das Fleisch sind so zart. Eines der besten Restaurants. Vielen Dank! Ich bin besonders angetan von dem freundlichen und höflichen Personal.

Der schlechteste Service und Geschmack

My son and I had a delicious late lunch. We weren't sure what to expect, but it was truly delicious. For our appetizer, we had torpedo shrimp. They were crispy and flavorful. My son then chose a ramen soup with pork and ground beef. He really enjoyed it. I had the Surf 'n Turf sushi roll, and I haven't regretted it for a moment. A truly excellent choice! The portions aren't huge, but everything tasted great. If the waiters had stopped by more often, we probably would have ordered something extra. We finished everything and paid immediately afterward. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back again.

Nice tonkotsu ramen and yuzu mandarin lemonade.

It's not possible to pay by card under 30€. Sounds like not paying taxes. I do not recommend. Food was average.

I found the restaurant through Google Maps. The vegetarian gyoza and ramen were really delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a very good time there and would gladly come back.

We really enjoyed this Vietnamese restaurant, we went there spontaneously so we didn’t have a reservation but there was plenty of space to sit. We ordered ramen with soups, and it was sooo comfy, warm and basically like a big hug 🥰 We ordered the veggie tempura ramen & veggie red curry ramen. For the tempura ramen we got the tempura veggie in a separate bowl. We also ordered some jasmine tea and orange mint tea. All of the food & drink was delicious!! The staff were so nice and helpful, the food arrived fast as well. Only down side was they close pretty soon around 19.30 - 20.00 so we couldn’t spend as much time as we’d like but I would still recommend!

The food itself is "OK", but there's a real lack of vegetables, the meat isn't tender at all, and the price-performance ratio is terrible – €6 for two pieces of chicken (30-40g)??? Unfortunately, I won't be eating here again.

A quick lunch stop that was well worth it. There was cabbage salad, delicious skewers, and crispy chicken pieces. Everything was very tasty and freshly prepared.

Ordered two appetizers, two main courses – 48 euros. Gyoza: four pieces. Karagee: five mini balls, each about the size of half a chicken nugget. Wontan soup: exactly two wontons, one (!) half an egg. Curry (vegetarian): tasty, but seriously, how little vegetables were there – three-quarters rice. Did I feel full? Not a chance. It's incredibly annoying that for so much money, every single dish is weighed down by the gram, and you don't even come close to feeling satisfied.

The taste was okay, but the portion was far too small. P.S.: I've ordered it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A real insider tip for ramen fans! This was our first time at Coco Ramen in Cologne – and definitely not the last! As big ramen lovers, we had the Chanpon Ramen with breaded shrimp and the Lucky Ducky Ramen with crispy duck. Both dishes were absolutely delicious – rich, well-seasoned, and with great toppings. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and the prices are more than fair for what you get. The homemade iced teas and lemonades were also really delicious – definitely not mass-produced, but made with love. The shop is clean, tidy, and cozy. We were there on a Thursday evening; it was about 40% full, but our food still arrived very quickly. The service was friendly and attentive. Verdict: All in all, a success! Delicious food, great atmosphere, fair price. We'd love to come back! 🍜🥢

Terrible ramen: tasteless, tough meat, stale vegetables, like frozen. The broth wasn't salty at all, and there was no distinct flavor. I don't understand why this place has such a high rating. I wouldn't even eat here for free. Very disappointed. There weren't even any spices on the table, no sesame oil or chili oil.

It wasn't my first time there. But today, unfortunately, it was completely unsatisfactory. Neither the service nor the food was what you'd expect. Starting with the service...there were dishes from previous guests lying around at a few tables, which in itself isn't a problem. Then there was a long wait before a server even came over to take our drinks and food orders. After ordering, the drinks and food came relatively quickly. I didn't even finish the starter before the main course arrived. The starter (spring rolls) unfortunately had one spring roll that was completely soggy on the back (the side that was on the plate). It looked as if it had been swimming past the frying oil. The main course (chicken ramen) tasted okay. The broth, compared to the other times we've eaten there, tasted very industrial and made from instant broth. At that time, a waitress was collecting leftover dishes from other tables, but then left them on a table in the middle of the restaurant so she could eat with her team. Unfortunately, by the time we were finished, our appetizers had still not been cleared away, so we had to move them to other tables to save space. When paying, I politely declined the suggestion, "A tip for the good service?" The three of us paid a total of €89 for three non-alcoholic drinks, three appetizers, and three ramen dishes, and we are absolutely not satisfied. We will choose other restaurants in the future.

The food was okay, although the broth used to be much better. Unfortunately, the extra corn we ordered (a tablespoon of corn for €1) was forgotten with the ramen. After we called the waiter, it was added to the ramen. The "crispy" duck was unfortunately very mushy, and the breading immediately spread throughout the ramen. The restrooms were abysmal. One of the two functioning urinals out of three had an inexplicable brown substance, and the other was covered in unspecified hair. The regular restrooms were also very dirty, and the toilet brushes clearly hadn't been used in a while.

Very nice service, but dirty floors, sticky tables, and greasy, worn menus. The food gave us diarrhea.

We ate there twice during our week in Cologne and really enjoyed it. The food was absolutely delicious, with a huge selection. The cocktails were great too. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is really delicious and very well prepared, but the prices are a bit high. In my opinion, it's still worth the price, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for something less expensive :-)

The food was actually quite good, and the price/performance ratio was also okay. However, the restrooms desperately need to be cleaned; we felt uncomfortable there. When paying by card, we were only verbally informed at the cashier that card payments were only possible for amounts over €30. I think this should be clearly signposted. We each only had a lunch dish for around €13 and then had to fork out our "emergency" cash. All in all, unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

After a long day in Cologne, the evening here was truly lovely. Incredibly delicious ramen and sushi, along with excellent service. One star deducted for the noise level, which was unfortunately quite loud. Admittedly, the place was also packed... Still, an absolute recommendation ❤️

Four of us went here for ramen. Everyone had a different dish. We thought the taste was okay. The wontons and sushi were delicious. We were there on a Friday afternoon, and it wasn't busy, so the wait for the food was relatively short. The restrooms are a disaster. We wouldn't go again.

It was the best ramen experience in Cologne! A short two-day city trip, and we were looking for a place to eat. As a ramen lover, how could we not stop at this amazing spot? Having just come back from Japan in February, I can honestly say the ramen here comes very close! The broth is excellent and flavorful, the meat is tender and delicious… for a moment, I felt like I was back in Japan. It was so good that we went back the very next day. I highly recommend the wonton ramen (which I had and absolutely loved) and the chicken udon with its incredible chicken! If you’re hesitating about going, don’t! Expect to have an experience that truly feels like being in Japan, rich in flavor.

The sushi was delicious. Crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. Very friendly service. I highly recommend it.

This is very important. Leider is this Essen gar nicht gut. There is a lot of energy, there are many problems with our customers - and there is a lot of war in the comment box: there is a solution, this person has money and personal data. All, this is the case: I have and have other Restaurants available, and there are plenty of prices in the same place and other nearby Restaurants. I do not recommend it at all. Unfortunately, the food is not good at all. I had read the reviews, but we still wanted to try it – and it turned out exactly as described in the comments: too salty, disgusting kitchen, and very rude staff. To everyone reading this: I've tried other restaurants, and for the same price, you can go to much better and higher-quality restaurants. A very bad restaurant. Unfortunately, I asked more than once about the pork, and the proof was the first employee who said they don't use anything that came in contact with pork in the meals ordered. However, I was suspicious because of the taste, so I asked another employee, and he told me they use pork-related items in all the meals. I don't recommend anyone go there. We made a mistake, and we tried. We ask God for forgiveness.

Best conditions I have ever eaten!!!

We traveled over 100km here, of course, we were shopping, BUT everyone was looking forward to the cream noodles, and what can I say: 11/10 and more 😍😍😍 We ate chilled cream noodles, Lucky Ducky cream noodles, mango curry with rice, two duck dishes, edemame, spring rolls, and even dessert!!! I can recommend it wholeheartedly!!!! Then we had Tiger beer, homemade lemonade, everything was absolutely delicious!!! We'd love to come back again!
