Great Asian restaurant in the center of Cologne. Here you can find ramen, wok dishes and sushi. The food was very tasty and the service in the restaurant was also great. We can highly recommend this shop. A tip: you should definitely make a reservation on the weekend. The store was completely booked.

Very tasty food, I can only recommend going here 😋

Very good restaurant, just a few minutes from Cologne Cathedral. It was busy even during the week, but we still got a table for 10 people. The prices are fair, the food was great and the atmosphere is modern, although it seems a little worn here and there. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our food, but it was definitely worth the wait. Overall, a recommended address!

We ordered ramen. I had imagined the noodles in the soup to be different (like from the ready-made bags in the supermarket 🫣), but they are more like spaghetti. My children had a ramen soup with brown broth, I personally didn't like this taste, but my children love it. I chose one with red curry paste and what can I say, I like it. I won't be a fan, but I'll stop by every now and then (I've been here three times now). There are fresh vegetables in the ramen soup. And I order a lava egg with it. You can eat with a wooden ladle, fork and spoon or with chopsticks. The restaurant is not comfortable, especially the seating. The service often overlooks you, but I think it's because of the pillars in the restaurant, so you don't have a good overview. Therefore it can sometimes take longer until you are served. But the dishes come very quickly. Everything is fresh. And the toilets are clean too.

We ordered ramen and there was spaghetti in it? Large portion, but I think it's overpriced. Deep fried chicken breast didn't taste fresh. Homemade ice tea was delicious. The waitress couldn't speak German properly and had some difficulties while ordering.

It took us a while to find the shop - as someone new to Cologne, it wasn't that easy as the location is a bit inconvenient. However, the food was very tasty! Not the best ramen I've ever had, but still absolutely enjoyable. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. Overall a good experience if you're nearby!

The fire salmon mango sushi roll was tasty, but I liked the crunchy ebi roll much better!! Staff was friendly too!

Das Essen war sehr lecker der einzige Schwachpunkt war der Schärfegrad, der etwas schwach ausgefallen ist. Sonst war alles perfekt.

The food was delicious, the price was good for Cologne and the service was also friendly.

After sitting at our table for a few minutes, we noticed a mouse running up and down in the kitchen. We informed the staff but they didn't seem surprised or worried. After eating I felt really uncomfortable with my stomach and after talking to one of the other guests who was with us he also had a similar experience but luckily not as bad as mine.

Tasty, not expensive, a little cool

We came for a late lunch around 15h and it was still very busy. We got a table and waited a bit for our server to come. However, once we ordered, our food came quickly. We had a very nice curry and udon noodles. The portions were correct. The food warmed us up on a chilly afternoon. It was also super conveniently located close to museums that we wanted to visit after. Everything was aggreeable and we would eat here again.

⭐ 1 star Unfortunately an absolute disappointment. The sushi was the worst I've ever eaten - greasy, tasteless and obviously made from cheap ingredients. The entire atmosphere was unpleasant, it smelled like garbage, and the toilets were dirty. An absolute no-go: An employee (or the boss) came from the toilet, didn't wash his hands and only fastened his pants in the hallway. When you went out you could look into the open kitchen - unfortunately just as dirty. I definitely won't eat here again.

Rather average ramen - relatively bland taste with cold “lava egg”. Karaage very greasy but okay. Card payments starting at €30 are also unusual. I don't have to go there again.

Ordered, delivered incorrectly, didn't pick up the phone 20 minutes before the store closed to clarify the problem. What was delivered didn't taste good.

Super satisfied, delicious food, friendly staff!

The environment is nice, the prices are moderate. The sushi ingredients were chopped quite large and you could feel the cucumbers in your mouth. I found it a bit amateurish. Ramen was good, but there were deficiencies in its taste that I couldn't quite understand, I can't call it delicious. It's possible to go, but it's best not to keep your expectations high.

Five of us ate there. The ambience was okay but still needs some improvement. For dinner we ordered ramen and sushi. The ramen tasted like water with soy sauce and was lukewarm. The rice from the sushi was cooked far too soft. We won't come back.

Bad restaurant, I had to wait a half hour for ramen. The order was 2 ramen because we we’re with 2 persons. I received 1 ramen, my ramen was finished before my girlfriend got hers. No compensation, nothing. Very bad, planned a nice joyful dinner here but it was not as it was expected. They have to improve their communication and their way of compensating when making mistakes like this. Very disappointed and will be my last time here.

Disappointing experience – Inflexible and customer-unfriendly. A weekend in Cologne - We had reserved a table for Saturday evening and went hungry and excited. Despite the difficult parking situation and the long queue in front of the restaurant, we arrived 6 minutes late - no longer (I kept an eye on the clock second by second)! At the door we were immediately informed that our table was gone. When I asked whether there really was no solution because we had come specifically and were hungry, the only answer I got was: “The system works like this: as soon as you are a minute late, your table is gone.” No effort to find an alternative, no goodwill, no accommodation – just a categorical “bad luck”. We've eaten in many restaurants, including much hipper or smaller places, but we've rarely experienced such inflexible and customer-unfriendly behavior. Of course we understand that a restaurant can be busy on a Saturday evening. But zero solution orientation and such a rigid system make for a frustrating and disappointing experience. We definitely won't consider coming back and can't recommend this store. 1 star because it has to. The rating alone is actually too much..

Somehow it took over 20 minutes in a store that wasn't even half full for our order to even be taken. Overall, it was amusing how messy it was, but the food was great.

As a foodie and lover of Asian cuisine, I was very excited about my visit to this restaurant. The anticipation was great, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The small portions I found on my plate did not justify the high price I had to pay. The taste of the dishes was okay, but to really fill me up I would have had to spend at least 50 euros. The price-performance ratio therefore did not convince me. That's why I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Ramen was delicious! I would have liked more options to lean on. After a while it got a bit uncomfortable.

We had ramen once and udon once. Neither tasted good. They seem to simply mix water with soy sauce here. Then a minimum of good ingredients are added. Also a surprise was the lava egg, which turns out to be half an egg. The dishes cost 20 euros, which is a disgrace for this quality. By the way, you won't get full from it either.

Nous avons mangé des Ramen et ils étaient délicieux. Je recommande ce restaurant à deux pas de la cathédrale. Ambiance sympathique, bien décoré, personnel attentif. Très bon moment.

Food is good, but nothing special. The service is rather uninterested

I was spontaneously there yesterday in the cold weather to warm up with a hot bowl of ramen. Visually, the soup was a bit empty (the other photos here look better). But what irritated me the most was that in my eyes the noodles were clearly spaghetti. The consistency and taste were right. When asked, it was homemade noodles that taste like that when there was a little too much more in the dough... well. Soup was very tasty but also expensive. The last sip blessed me with a good portion of calcium from eggshells. I don't have to go there again. Lastly, card payment from €30. So not for individuals.

It was a very nice evening. This is our second time here and it's just as great as ever :)

23 Dec 2024 - Lunch for two, 32.5€ Chicken kaarage - crisp and delicious Mango curry bowl + Ginger Ice tea - must have Fried noodles with chicken + Hot ginger tea with honey. Service : very good Atmosphere : very well designed and maintained. Would definitely go again.

First of all, it took 25 minutes before someone came to our table to take the order. All courses came so far apart that the four of us couldn't eat together. Apart from a starter and a main course, the taste of the dishes was really poor - with the mango curry as the low point, in which the pieces of fruit tasted fermented. The room temperature was so cool that you could hardly sit without a jacket and there was unpleasantly loud electronic music in the background. It was definitely the first and last visit.

We found this restaurant by chance and were supremely delighted with the food and the service. Chicken karaage packed a punch! It was spicy, crispy and naturally tasted good. Mango curry rice is a must try, it was so rich in taste that we left no morsels behind. Chicken fried noodles was fine but I wouldn't recommend it over the mango curry rice.

Essen gut (Sommerrollen, Teriayaki Chickenrolls, Ramen mit Ente). An den Aussenseiten bläst die AC derart kalt herunter, daß die Gäste teilweise in den Winterjacken an den Tischen saßen- so auch wir. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass an der Regelung nichts geändert werden. Damen WC könnte mal....in Köln würde man sagen " knüsselig". Die Dame an der Kasse hat aber nachgefragt was nicht ok wäre und es aufgeschrieben. So richtig läd Coco Ramen nicht zum Verweilen ein und dafür finde ich die Preise etwas zu hoch. Bedienung war freundlich.

Don’t go there! The service is absolutely non-existent. I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even bothered to show up, despite the place being almost empty. They brought me ramen without any utensils, and the drink only arrived after the ramen. Of course, the ramen wasn’t hot because it had been sitting there for who knows how long. As if that wasn’t enough, watch out for the entrance door—it’s so poorly maintained that I even cut myself a bit while entering. A terrible experience in every way!

We had flavorful and beautiful Ramen, Tempura-Ramen and Karaage Ramen. Both servings were plenty, and we were full from that serving. They have a Lunch menu with cheaper options. We'll come again

I always come back here. I ate by far the best ramen here. I think the lunch menu is very good. You can save money and get a very tasty tea for just €1. The staff is also very nice. The view from the window is very nice and it is also very clean. I'm looking forward to the next time I come back :)

Sushi was delicious :), but for me personally it was a bit overpriced… The summer roll was okay, but the location was great! The ambience and service are quite pleasant, you are welcomed quickly and the food and drink arrive without having to wait long... nevertheless, I don't think I would want to come again, but it's definitely worth trying out :) Best regards!!

At first I stood a bit until I was received. The food came quickly, too quickly. The ladies turned out to be thin broth with spaghetti. Unfortunately there wasn't much content either. Considering that the shop was named 'Ramen' and that it cost €15, it was very disappointing. The interior is really chic and the waitresses are very friendly. There is still room for improvement when it comes to food.

I was at the restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime shortly after it opened and was able to freely choose my seat. It is only a few minutes' walk from Cologne main station and is a good location at the beginning of the city center. Kimchi was homemade and edamame arrived at my table still warm and well salted. The ramen was also delicious and the iced teas are worth trying. Staff was attentive and friendly. I'm looking forward to next time.

It was good but could be better. The dish could have been richer in vegetables and meat.

A big disappointment! The establishment clearly does not live up to the reviews posted. It's mostly window dressing. We each had a different dish (two ramen and one udon) and the broth tasted exactly the same: just salty. The dishes consist of very little meat or fish. Just the minimum. The flavors are very basic and very far from traditional dishes. Water, soy, vegetables and a little protein for a fairly high price. We were still very hungry when we left the establishment. We also had an aperitif, also quite expensive, and we were very disappointed. They were certainly very well presented but all very diluted. In the end, no real taste. The lassi, on the other hand, was very good. Our drinks were even served after receiving the food! An aberration. But here, everything goes very quickly, the customers have to follow each other as much as possible. In short, if you want to eat well... clearly go your way. It's a place only to take pretty photos to post on Insta.

Coco is located in a rather depressing shopping center, but inside they tried to make something of it. The staff is friendly and attentive, the ingredients of the noodle soups are fresh, the ice teas are homemade and very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. All in all highly recommended, especially if you are with children

If you are looking for good Asian cuisine in the city center, you can find it at Coco Ramen. I can especially recommend the ramen. Price/performance fits. This time I decided on the Wantan Ramen. Very spicy and delicious, especially the crispy wonton dumplings. Regarding the service, the order was taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The ambience is partly nice, but the seating has seen better days. All in all, you can eat well here, it wasn't the first time here, we'll definitely come back ☺️.

Worst Japanese restaurant in Cologne. First, we waited nearly one hour to get our food. Second, the noodles they served is Spaghetti (taste like the cheapest one you can buy in Penny), I never met any Japanese restaurant use Spaghetti. Idk if the chef tried real Japanese food or not, if no, I recommend they go to try another good Japanese restaurant in Cologne, its call Daikan Izakaya.

Terrible service. I don't recommend it. We waited 10 minutes for service and went to the counter to place an order, for which we were ignored. In total we waited for more than 20 minutes and then went to another restaurant to celebrate our birthday.

The food was delicious. What I didn't like about paying was that they required payment in cash when paying under €30. I didn't notice the paper pasted on the entrance door, so I was pleasantly surprised. I don't like this approach of gastro establishments, so it's my personal opinion, but let them add something to the price, rather than being unpleasantly surprised when paying that I missed a piece of paper with a warning on the entrance door.

The food came very quickly as soon as we ordered. Because we arrived around 3 p.m., it wasn't that crowded and taking the order went quite quickly. The food itself tasted good and wasn't too expensive. Gladly again!

Unfortunately I wasn't entirely impressed with the taste. The chicken in the ramen soup was very appropriate and no longer tasted like chicken. I didn't think the broth was that great either, but it's certainly a matter of taste.

You can definitely do it, I thought the portion sizes were great, as ramen is usually too much for me. It was super tasty, the self-made lemonade was also great, you didn't have to wait long and the employees were super nice.

Unfortunately, if you're looking for good, authentic ramen, you won't be happy here. Neither the quality of the broth nor the noodles were convincing. Sometimes the ingredients are named incorrectly in the menu (unfortunately there is no real chashu in the ramen). The quality may fall here. victim to Asian Fusion, but the prices and waiting times are immensely high.

So with the best will in the world you can't call this ramen... It was normal spaghetti noodles in a ready-made broth. More than just disappointing... The chicken in the ramen tasted like the Aldi refrigerated counter (not good) For the price I really expect something different. Excellent ramen, we have been there several times during our visit to Cologne.
