Food is good, but nothing special. The service is rather uninterested

I didn't like the food. It just seems to be a ready-made soup with noodles and other things added to it. For 20 euros I expect something better.

I was spontaneously there yesterday in the cold weather to warm up with a hot bowl of ramen. Visually, the soup was a bit empty (the other photos here look better). But what irritated me the most was that in my eyes the noodles were clearly spaghetti. The consistency and taste were right. When asked, it was homemade noodles that taste like that when there was a little too much more in the dough... well. Soup was very tasty but also expensive. The last sip blessed me with a good portion of calcium from eggshells. I don't have to go there again. Lastly, card payment from €30. So not for individuals.

It was a very nice evening. This is our second time here and it's just as great as ever :)

This was a big tasty portion of ramen, just what you need in cold weather. The staff was not attentive.

We have eaten much better ramen noodles. But it was very expensive. The soup wasn't hot enough for our taste. We'll try another store next time.

I ate a really nice ramen and some spring rolls :). It was open on a Sunday which is nice. Kind people working and really fast service. Thank you 😸

23 Dec 2024 - Lunch for two, 32.5€ Chicken kaarage - crisp and delicious Mango curry bowl + Ginger Ice tea - must have Fried noodles with chicken + Hot ginger tea with honey. Service : very good Atmosphere : very well designed and maintained. Would definitely go again.

We found this restaurant by chance and were supremely delighted with the food and the service. Chicken karaage packed a punch! It was spicy, crispy and naturally tasted good. Mango curry rice is a must try, it was so rich in taste that we left no morsels behind. Chicken fried noodles was fine but I wouldn't recommend it over the mango curry rice.

First of all, it took 25 minutes before someone came to our table to take the order. All courses came so far apart that the four of us couldn't eat together. Apart from a starter and a main course, the taste of the dishes was really poor - with the mango curry as the low point, in which the pieces of fruit tasted fermented. The room temperature was so cool that you could hardly sit without a jacket and there was unpleasantly loud electronic music in the background. It was definitely the first and last visit.

The food was delicious, we each ate a ramen soup. It could have been a little warmer. But I think 20 euros for a soup with thin strips of beef is very overpriced! 30.- EUR/person with starter in total.

The food was really tasty, but the restaurant seemed unkempt. The toilets were very dirty and broken, menu cards were stuck together.

Food and ambience good, cleanliness in the toilets could be better and it is a bit expensive.

Leckere asiatische Küche, mit interessanten Geschmacksrichtungen. Immer sehr gut besucht. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen. Es wird viel zu viel Salz verwendet.

Stylish restaurant and food, udon noodles were very tasty

Don’t go there! The service is absolutely non-existent. I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even bothered to show up, despite the place being almost empty. They brought me ramen without any utensils, and the drink only arrived after the ramen. Of course, the ramen wasn’t hot because it had been sitting there for who knows how long. As if that wasn’t enough, watch out for the entrance door—it’s so poorly maintained that I even cut myself a bit while entering. A terrible experience in every way!

We had flavorful and beautiful Ramen, Tempura-Ramen and Karaage Ramen. Both servings were plenty, and we were full from that serving. They have a Lunch menu with cheaper options. We'll come again

I always come back here. I ate by far the best ramen here. I think the lunch menu is very good. You can save money and get a very tasty tea for just €1. The staff is also very nice. The view from the window is very nice and it is also very clean. I'm looking forward to the next time I come back :)

The food was really fantastic and definitely worth it. We just sometimes had to wait a long time for service, even though there was nothing going on.

Sushi was delicious :), but for me personally it was a bit overpriced… The summer roll was okay, but the location was great! The ambience and service are quite pleasant, you are welcomed quickly and the food and drink arrive without having to wait long... nevertheless, I don't think I would want to come again, but it's definitely worth trying out :) Best regards!!

At first I stood a bit until I was received. The food came quickly, too quickly. The ladies turned out to be thin broth with spaghetti. Unfortunately there wasn't much content either. Considering that the shop was named 'Ramen' and that it cost €15, it was very disappointing. The interior is really chic and the waitresses are very friendly. There is still room for improvement when it comes to food.

A big disappointment! The establishment clearly does not live up to the reviews posted. It's mostly window dressing. We each had a different dish (two ramen and one udon) and the broth tasted exactly the same: just salty. The dishes consist of very little meat or fish. Just the minimum. The flavors are very basic and very far from traditional dishes. Water, soy, vegetables and a little protein for a fairly high price. We were still very hungry when we left the establishment. We also had an aperitif, also quite expensive, and we were very disappointed. They were certainly very well presented but all very diluted. In the end, no real taste. The lassi, on the other hand, was very good. Our drinks were even served after receiving the food! An aberration. But here, everything goes very quickly, the customers have to follow each other as much as possible. In short, if you want to eat well... clearly go your way. It's a place only to take pretty photos to post on Insta.

I was at the restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime shortly after it opened and was able to freely choose my seat. It is only a few minutes' walk from Cologne main station and is a good location at the beginning of the city center. Kimchi was homemade and edamame arrived at my table still warm and well salted. The ramen was also delicious and the iced teas are worth trying. Staff was attentive and friendly. I'm looking forward to next time.

It was good but could be better. The dish could have been richer in vegetables and meat.

Coco is located in a rather depressing shopping center, but inside they tried to make something of it. The staff is friendly and attentive, the ingredients of the noodle soups are fresh, the ice teas are homemade and very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. All in all highly recommended, especially if you are with children

If you are looking for good Asian cuisine in the city center, you can find it at Coco Ramen. I can especially recommend the ramen. Price/performance fits. This time I decided on the Wantan Ramen. Very spicy and delicious, especially the crispy wonton dumplings. Regarding the service, the order was taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The ambience is partly nice, but the seating has seen better days. All in all, you can eat well here, it wasn't the first time here, we'll definitely come back ☺️.

Great Asian restaurant in the center of Cologne. Here you can find ramen, wok dishes and sushi. The food was very tasty and the service in the restaurant was also great. We can highly recommend this shop. A tip: you should definitely make a reservation on the weekend. The store was completely booked.

Worst Japanese restaurant in Cologne. First, we waited nearly one hour to get our food. Second, the noodles they served is Spaghetti (taste like the cheapest one you can buy in Penny), I never met any Japanese restaurant use Spaghetti. Idk if the chef tried real Japanese food or not, if no, I recommend they go to try another good Japanese restaurant in Cologne, its call Daikan Izakaya.

Terrible service. I don't recommend it. We waited 10 minutes for service and went to the counter to place an order, for which we were ignored. In total we waited for more than 20 minutes and then went to another restaurant to celebrate our birthday.

Disastrous service, we sat for 20 minutes and were not served. After asking several times at the counter we left

The food was delicious. What I didn't like about paying was that they required payment in cash when paying under €30. I didn't notice the paper pasted on the entrance door, so I was pleasantly surprised. I don't like this approach of gastro establishments, so it's my personal opinion, but let them add something to the price, rather than being unpleasantly surprised when paying that I missed a piece of paper with a warning on the entrance door.

The food came very quickly as soon as we ordered. Because we arrived around 3 p.m., it wasn't that crowded and taking the order went quite quickly. The food itself tasted good and wasn't too expensive. Gladly again!

Unfortunately I wasn't entirely impressed with the taste. The chicken in the ramen soup was very appropriate and no longer tasted like chicken. I didn't think the broth was that great either, but it's certainly a matter of taste.

You can definitely do it, I thought the portion sizes were great, as ramen is usually too much for me. It was super tasty, the self-made lemonade was also great, you didn't have to wait long and the employees were super nice.

Unfortunately, if you're looking for good, authentic ramen, you won't be happy here. Neither the quality of the broth nor the noodles were convincing. Sometimes the ingredients are named incorrectly in the menu (unfortunately there is no real chashu in the ramen). The quality may fall here. victim to Asian Fusion, but the prices and waiting times are immensely high.

So with the best will in the world you can't call this ramen... It was normal spaghetti noodles in a ready-made broth. More than just disappointing... The chicken in the ramen tasted like the Aldi refrigerated counter (not good) For the price I really expect something different. I really don't understand the good reviews, I've probably never eaten good ramen

Super delicious! The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is very appealing, the drinks are also delicious and it is very clean. I also thought the prices were okay for the delicious food. I can only recommend it!

Food very tasty, service friendly and quick. Several vegan and vegetarian dishes, absolutely reasonable prices. The inside of the restaurant was cozy, but we didn't like the location. Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

Excellent ramen, we have been there several times during our visit to Cologne.

Good price/performance ratio. We ate there with a larger group during the fair. Reservations could be made easily online. The food was beautifully prepared and the portion sizes were sufficient. The homemade drinks were really tasty too. Only the service was below average: it took a long time to take the order and then was rather lackluster. The ambience is okay, but nothing special (more for private than business occasions). Card payment was possible.

The dishes were very rich in flavour. Portions are also quite big, but the service was slow and didn’t pay attention to the lack of cutlery on the table.

The furnishings and therefore the ambience have had their time. The COCO Ramen food was tasteless! Unfortunately we won't be visiting again.

This place is incredible and im glad we came here. My son said it is one of the best sushi he has ever tasted. My nephew had the mango spiced curry and said it tasted delicious!! Adults just had drinks. I had a rhubarb lemonade, it was the most refreshing drink i think i have ever tasted. The service was absolutely fantastic amd the food to match. 👍🏾

It was the worst meal I had during my week in Cologne. It seems like an Asian restaurant specializing in Germany. When Koreans go there, it sometimes doesn't suit their taste at all. The curry tastes sweet and buttery, and the ramen is bland and not really our taste...ㅠㅠ

Very, very unfortunate We chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but were quickly disappointed The food overall was very salty and the ramen I ordered was spaghetti noodles. Too bad We had hoped for more.

We ate vegetarian coconut curry ramen and it was super delicious! Unfortunately, it was unpleasantly loud in the restaurant and we only got our drinks half an hour after ordering and well after the (spicy) meal. The employees are nice, but they didn't come here, so after a while we went to the counter ourselves.

Good food at reasonable prices. The ambience is much too loud for me, open kitchen with lots of tables in a small room, without anything to absorb the noise. At a few tables you are difficult to see for the waitress and therefore hardly receive any service.

So tasty and the price is also quite good. Definitely plan to go here again!!

I was here for the first time while visiting Cologne with my wife. So I can wholeheartedly recommend it, for food we ordered sushi and to drink homemade lemonade. The service is polite, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious.

I was in Cologne for the first time as a class trip and decided on this restaurant. The employees were all very friendly, I had the udon with chicken and my friends had the ramen with chicken. The broth was a 3/10 it had a weird taste which none of us liked. A 0.2l Sprite for an outrageous price. The whole thing was pretty good and I would give the restaurant a second chance, but the chicken broth is an absolute no-go

It was quite tasty, but it has nothing to do with the real authentic Japanese ramen, it's more of a variation/fusion cuisine I can recommend the fried shrimp, they were really tasty

Really not particularly tasty. The noodles in the ramen are simple spaghetti, which in our case were far too firm to the bite. The broth is not full-bodied at all and tastes more like instant vegetable broth with a dash of chili oil, i.e. primarily salty and not much else. The ingredients floating in the watery concoction simply do not create a harmonious overall taste in terms of taste. There are two stars and not one because the staff are really nice and friendly.

We sat outside because the weather was nice but the atmosphere inside was also very nice. The ramen we ate was really delicious. The staff was okay, they smoked in their break next to us outside and they didn't really respond quickly in our opinion. Vegetarian options available.

We had dinner there with family. The frames and the raw fish very tasty. We paid 150 euros for 4 people, far too expensive in my opinion. The toilets were a disaster, the women had blood smeared everywhere in the cabin🤮.

Food is better than average. We both had Tantan ramen and chicken karaage. The ramen was not spicy enough, but the noodles have the slight crunch to them which I like. I would come here again in a crunch.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize from the menu that the salmon was cooked in the sushi. The taste was ok. The ramen soup wasn't particularly tasty either. However, the service was very nice and personable.

Highly recommend visiting between 12-3 pm on a weekday. Quite during lunch hours and friendly staff. Unbeatable price in the area, free iced tea included!

We decided to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend. We were extremely dissatisfied, the food was tasteless, there was a mouse running around in the room, we were just shocked. The staff didn't respond at all.
