Very tasty, friendly service and a short waiting time.

Deep-fried gyoza doesn't work at all. Plus unfriendly service. Couldn't be due to stress as there were only two tables occupied apart from us. The restaurant is opposite the main train station.

It's more there for sushi. But the other food is also very good. You have to order the rice separately, which I find strange since the duck was already expensive anyway. The waitress forgot to bring the rice and she only came when I had already eaten 25%.

The eel bowl was tasty but quite boring and not much; nothing special. The tuna bowl, on the other hand, was great, lots of different things, much more recommended, but not a very large portion either The quality of the fish itself is very good. Ambiance in the restaurant is nice.

Nice Japanese place at Passau‘s train station which makes the waiting for a connecting train so much shorter. The service is very quick as the food arrives within minutes and the are offering Ramen soups besides the usual Sushi and other Japanese dishs.

Too bad about the money. Serving a bowl with few vegetables and 4 prawns (lukewarm) and charging ~17 euros for it is simply a no-go. Unfortunately I'm very disappointed.

This restaurant has become one of our favorites lately! Asian but also in Passau in general. The food is awesome. We mostly had sushi and it was always great. Sure, it's not cheap but the quality is worth the money here. It's also well packaged for take away and super fresh. The soups were also great! Service was also great because both the lady and the gentleman gave me great advice over the phone. I didn't have anything pending or wanted to sell, even held back from ordering more. So we really enjoy being here! 100% recommendation

A good opportunity to sit on the terrace and not in the station if you have to wait a long time for a train departure. Shang Restaurant also has a lunch menu with several delicious dishes. I chose the crispy duck and rice instead of fries.

Ohh! Some of the best original Asian food I was able to try. No glutamate, no frozen food, extremely friendly waitresses and in the kitchen! Hygiene and sanitary facilities at a high level. Conclusion: This is what a Japanese person should be like! 🫠🤤

The place has a good location in the city and very close to the Bahnhof. The place is very clean. The Service from the moment you arrive is excellent and making a reservation if it is for a large group is very easy. The food is very good and good presentation. The place could be improved in terms of the atmosphere when being in the place, since there are not many details about it being an Asian food restaurant, changing the decoration of the place could further improve the experience when being in the restaurant. Highly recommended, quality-price.

How do I pass the 4.5 hour wait for the ICE in a completely rainy Passau??? The Shang Sushi & Grillbar was the best choice here. Well-equipped restaurant and very friendly staff who responded very hospitably to the early arrival time of 10:15 a.m. and shortened our time there until the restaurant's lunch break at 3:00 p.m. with coffee, tea and delicious fried noodles. So thank you again for the hospitable time with you. And what's more, you have great ceiling lighting and a noticeably clean, well-kept restaurant!

Absolutely recommended! The sushi is great. The prices are high, but the quality justifies it. However, there is also a lunch menu that has quite good prices. Have been here countless times!

Ich war jetzt zweimal dort, Sushi war wirklich top und frisch, aber die Ramen kann ich leider nicht empfehlen, waren nur Wasser und das Fleich zu durch und trocken. Schneller Service, jedoch weder freundlich noch zuvorkommend.

Wir waren heute das erste mal dort, aber bestimmt nicht das letzte mal. Das beste Sushi bis jetzt was wir gegessen haben und wir haben schon viele probiert, auch früher in Frankfurt. Der Service sehr nett und das Ambiente so wie man es von einem Japanischen Restaurant erwartet. Ich kann es nur allen empfehlen, die Sushi lieben!

Das beste Sushi, das ich je gegessen habe, und ich habe schon in vielen Restaurants unterschiedlichster Preisklassen Sushi gegessen. Auch das Auge isst hier mit, denn alles ist wunderschön angerichtet. Die hausgemachte Limonade ist ebenfalls nur zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt ok. Es ist nett angerichtet. Die Bedienungen sind nett. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist leider nicht wirklich gegeben. Die Sushi Menüs sind relativ klein und es wird mit Surimi-Maki die Portion vergrößert. Da wäre anderes Maki und andere Fisch-Sorten eher dem Preis entsprechend. Einen unique selling point sehe ich durch die nette Dekoration persönlich nicht. Menüs mit weniger Surimi, mehr Avocado/Butter fisch/anderen interessanten Maki zu besseren Preisen wäre mir da lieber.

Ich bin seit der Eröffnung schon mehrmals dort gewesen und war immer begeistert. Nicht nur von der hohen Qualität des Essens sondern auch vom Service. Die Kellnerin und ich vermute auch Inhaberin hat mich jedesmal wiedererkannt.

Viel Auswahl. Nicht das übliche Sushi was man sonst überall bekommt. Sehr schön zubereitet und super lecker. Die Minzlimonade ist zwar etwas teuer aber sehr zu empfehlen. 😋

Super Lokal, alles frisch zubereitet, kaum Wartezeit bis dass Essen da ist. Der Preis ist etwas höher, jedoch ist das Lokal das wirklich wert. Bei Getränken ist sie Minzlimonade sehr zu empfehlen!

I had read the reviews of this place and food and it seemed to be a best sushi place to visit. Well it was not. Miso was a soup with cold (it looked like canned) fish. Tasted ugly. The sushi set from daily menu was like that: rice was grainy and not cooked properly, Nori was wet and was peeling off, wasabi had no taste at all, not spicy. The best choice was water. For this I payed 26,00 euro. To this notice the owner said, well it is our taste. You should have eaten the other sushis in the city, ours are good. Well…for me it is clearly not a place to go. Wir waren schon öfters zu Gast und wurden immer sehr gut beraten. Egal ob geschäftlich oder mit Freunden Personal ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Die Vorspeisen und Sushi haben eine extrem hohe Qualität. Tip fragen Sie nach besonderen Fischarten die immer wieder wechseln und lassen Sie sich einfach eine Platte für X Personen an den Tisch bringen. Auch optisch ein echtes Highlight.

Sushi Kreationen auf Spitzenniveau. Gastfreundlich und schnell bei hoher Qualität. Hier merkt man , dass Meister am Werk sind.

Frau Shang ist eine sehr liebenswürdige Person, kümmert sich um jeden Gast wie wenn er zur Familie gehören würde. Die Sushikreationen sind überwältigend und der Sushimeister weiß wie er die Gäste beeindrucken kann. Die Location macht optisch einen sehr schönen Eindruck und ist in optimaler Lage in Passau. Parkplatz gibt es nur wenige Meter weiter. Wir sind definitiv nicht zum letzen Mal dort gewesen! Danke Frau Shang für die herzliche Begrüßung und Verabschiedung wenn wir Sie besuchen!
