Super delicious food and everything was great

Unfortunately, the freshly prepared food didn't really work. There weren't enough clips at the table. One order wasn't returned at all. The lemonades and cocktails weren't particularly tasty.

I ordered the roast duck breast dish. When roasting a duck, the skin should be crispy. Unfortunately, the skin was fatty. The amount of skin was much larger than the amount of meat. Furthermore, the hoisin sauce was so sweet that I couldn't finish the dish and threw it away. A bad experience, and I won't repeat it. I wonder why there are so many positive reviews!

Jento—all you can eat. Absolutely amazing. For €20.90, you can have fresh sushi, all sorts of other Asian side dishes, and even freshly grilled meat/fish brought to you. Unimaginable for me these days. Plus delicious drinks—an unforgettable, filling place. The great atmosphere and friendly staff are almost forgotten. I'll be back again 🤤

We went to the all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch. The selection wasn't particularly extensive. The sushi wasn't rolled nicely, but overall it was tasty. Unfortunately, there were no nigiri; they generally skimped on the fish. The value for money is okay, but we've had better food at Asian restaurants for the same price.

Always possible whether with family or alone

We went on Friday afternoon for the all you can eat buffet and it had fresh and various food, especially the sushi section which we went for. They can also grill fresh meat or sea for you, which I find as a great option. The place feels quite young and alive, compared to other places in Passau where it is quiet and you can hear the forks and spoons from other tables. The staff is pleasant and polite.

2025Edit: Quality of service has declined significantly. The service has never been great, but now the motivation feels like it has dropped to 0. The food was also just average. 2020: Delicious and beautifully presented Asian food. As is well known, the eye eats too!

We have now ordered from Jento Passau for the second time and are completely satisfied again! The food was super tasty, fresh and of the best quality. We were once again particularly impressed by the great service - we even received a call when the driver was a little late. This shows how important customer satisfaction is taken here. We are already looking forward to our next order and can absolutely recommend Jento Passau!

These are the best sushi I've ever tried! There is nothing like this in Germany - fresh, perfectly balanced in taste and simply delicious. Bravo to the boss and the team!

Went to the buffet on the weekend evening, very little choice and what was still there had been there for a while... It's a shame

Empty buffet, long waiting times and poor service. Unfortunately the buffet wasn't even half full. At the warm buffet you could choose between spring rolls and fries. Sushi was available every now and then if you were quick. The fresh grilling took a full 50 minutes and the squid was still frozen inside. It's a disgrace to charge over €20 for the buffet. Never again! Better go to Pandaria.

Delicious food BUT unfriendly staff!! There were 5 of us there, 4 of them had all you can eat and the other had ordered sushi!!! The person who ordered Suschi had to wait almost an hour for it!!!! When you asked about it in annoyance, it suddenly happened. Then everyone became friendly. The drinking only came after 40 minutes!!! When I asked, all I said was it was being processed!! Mess!!! Banana didn't taste like anything!!

Were there again yesterday for a long time and I have to reduce my previous rating (see below) to three stars. We had reserved, although there weren't many visitors at the beginning, the drinks took an extremely long time. The buffet had a manageable selection and was only refilled (chips, chicken) upon request. Some of the food was cold. The grilled beef could neither be cut with a knife nor chewed. We would have expected a lot more, especially for 20.90 euros per person. What was there was definitely tasty, although there were significant compromises in terms of service and scope. We remembered it much better. Top restaurant, delicious Asian food. The highlights are always the fruit skewers and the chocolate fountain. Always nice staff. Gladly again.

I can download the food, which was a pleasant surprise. The sushi is delicious. Big ones. The rice in them is just perfect. The fish, shrimp and eel are very fresh and tasty. The breading is crispy just right. BUT. There were only a couple of tables occupied, but the wait for the order was long. Well, in the large hall itself there was the smell of the kitchen and dining room, so we went to the small hall at the entrance.

It would actually be 5 stars but I think the quality of the food has unfortunately declined over the years. It still tastes very good there.

Went to Jento today and the staff was very unfriendly, especially the young man who was responsible for the reservation. From 7:15 p.m. there was little to choose from at the buffet. Desserts were already empty from 7 p.m. and were no longer refilled.

Our favorite Asian in Passau! The pho is just to die for and everything else we've had so far has been delicious too. The service was impeccable and various special requests on our part were taken into account very flexibly. We've been there many times and every time everything was great!

Delivery October 15, 2024: Food was well - more sauce in the bag, so less sauce in the food. Very difficult to eat due to the sauce leaking out. The rice and meat were completely soggy. Delivery was on time, but the driver didn't have a cent (!) of change. (Cash payment was stated in the order.) The delivery was brought and canceled immediately after cash payment - a rogue who thinks something bad.

My first choice in Passau for sushi and Asian starters. Summer and spring rolls are incredibly good and the sushi is excellent. Particularly recommended is the kimchi, a hot/sour cold appetizer made mainly from pickled Chinese cabbage. You shouldn't be afraid of authentic Asian flavors here. But if you have this, you should probably avoid such a restaurant anyway. Otherwise, the service is friendly, perhaps slightly overwhelmed and a little slow at peak times, but always professional and helpful. I'm a regular here and will probably stay that way.

Service employees decide the amount of their tip themselves! I gave him €50 and told him to round up the amount to be paid to €35. He then said thank you, 37 and I said no, 35. He then only gave me back €13. Simply bottomless. In my opinion, service was amateurish and inattentive, as well as arrogant and unfriendly.

I went there for dinner with a friend on May 30, 2024 because we were craving Asian. The food was okay. Unfortunately my dish didn't contain much rice. Since we were sitting very close to the entrance, I didn't find the ambience very nice. I was a bit surprised at the prices, which were quite high for an Asian. The positive thing is that you can pay by card. Overall, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not appropriate.

Wasn't really tasty. Be careful if your rating is not as positive as Jento imagines... we will take action against it and request deletion. Jento…….is fairness in your eyes. It's better to offer your guests better food... I didn't like it at your place. And I can communicate that here too.

Awesome place! We enjoyed very much Bun Bo Nam Bo. And dessert? Heaven in mouth! Gebackene bananen and Schwarzer reis mit mango. Definitely right choice for our lunchtime! Also I have to appreciate very kind young lady who took care of us. And we could go there with our dog. If I could I will give you 7 stars instead of 5. Thank you so much for this experience.

Pleasant ambience and delicious food. However, Jento was known as a bar menu restaurant. Self-service system. That is no longer the case, so Jento is today like most Asian restaurants, or as they would say local, nothing special. Too bad.

Everything great. Food was absolutely delicious. The salmon fillet looked dried out at first, but then it was super fluffy inside. (Unfortunately, Buttet for €21 is only available Mon-Sat). For two, €45.

I haven't been this excited about an all you can eat store in a really long time. For a 21€ buffet + 4-6€ per drink you pay a lot, but I had a lot of rolls of sushi, normal but also fried and they were so fresh and tasty. So I was very happy that I could always get up when it was empty. Mussels fried with garlic were well fried, don't worry about eating them too raw. So great attention is paid to quality here. Great desserts from the usual chocolate fountain with strawberries to crème brulee. But the best thing was that I wasn't bombarded with salty food or glutamate. So you can really fill your stomach and not have to suffer so much afterwards.

Very tasty food, convenient opening hours, quick and polite service. Good place to go. I had chicken with coconut mango sauce, was really tasty. The atmosphere is of good or simple eatery. It's not bad, but also not high end. The toilet is five miles away from the tables :) I would go there anytime again.

I've eaten there three times with my family and I'm annoyed that the shop is so far away. If I lived in Passau or just worked nearby, I would probably be there every day. Despite the weekend and the hut being full, we got a place. Great service and attentive staff. And the baked tofu... I could eat that every day. At this point, big compliments to the chef. I've rarely eaten something so cool (and I know what I'm talking about). Well prepared and fresh, crunchy vegetables. That's just great. I always plan a visit when I'm in Passau. Please continue. Rarely eaten so well.

Ein super schönes Lokal mit freundlichem Service und fairer Preisgestaltung. Das Essen ist super lecker und vielfältig. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Leider ist das Buffet nicht immer verfügbar. Am Besten vorher informieren, wenn man vom Buffet essen möchte.

Hebben heerlijk gegeten en alles was super vers omdat ik graag sushi eet proefde je dat het goed en vers gemaakt werd. Daarna nog een rijst schotel gesteld en en ook dat was heerlijk en een bord vol eten. De sfeer is goed en mooie zitplaatsen met vriendelijke bediening. Ga dit zeker onthouden voor als we nog eens terug komen.

Ich bin enttäuscht!!! Das Essen hat 2 ein Halb Stunden gebraucht um geliefert zu werden und der Lieferant kennt sich überhaupt nicht aus wohin er fahren muss!! Das essen war dafür ok

Schönes Lokal und guter Service. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Preis/Leistung passt sehr gut. Kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Nehmen auch gerne den Lieferservice in Anspruch. Auch die hausgemachten Limonaden sind sehr lecker. Auf den Fotos, als Vorspeise die Frühlingsrollen mit der Nuoc Cham Soße sowie die Tom-Yum Suppe. Als Hauptspeise die gebackene Ente mit Gemüse, Reis und Erdnusssauce sowie die gemischten Nudeln (3 Sorten) mit gebackener Ente. Wie kommen sehr gerne wieder. Einzig die Sitzplätze draussen im freien könnten sie schöner gestalten. Keine Deko und nichts.

Gebackene Entenbrust mit Gemüse. Das Gemüse war leider viel zu grob geschnitten, überwiegend große Kohlstängel -blätter, asiatisches Gemüse kenne und liebe ich nur in kleine Streifen geschnitten. Service war sehr nett.

Ich hatte gebratene Ente mit Reis und Mango Sauce. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Reis war allerdings zu wenig und es waren arg viele Zwiebeln enthalten. Preislich für einen Asiaten eher teuer. Insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Boxen bei Toogoodtogo sind sehr gut, meistens gibt es auch noch Sushi. Man muss sich nur etwas beeilen, weil dort manchmal sehr gierige Leute sind, die sich das ganze Sushi krallen wollen.
