We had kubideh and jujeh with dough – super delicious and the portions just right. The chef is really nice and the restaurant is really cozy. It's definitely good value for money. I can recommend it!

The interior of this restaurant is truly inviting—especially the huge terrace, which practically invites you to linger for hours and unwind. Even shisha lovers will get their money's worth here, as you can order directly. The staff? Extremely friendly and welcoming! You'd almost think they've put smiles on the menu as a main course. But now comes the big crux of the matter—the food. Oh dear, I find this hard to admit, because the man behind the stove was so nice and the location is simply stunning! But the food was a true disaster! The kebab koobideh? Tasted like a shadow of its former self—old and lifeless. And then it was swimming in the "soup" of the jooje kebab (chicken skewers), which smelled more like lemon juice concentrate than fresh lemon. I can only assume that they were both stored in the same container, and the result was... well, let's just say, not exactly gourmet-worthy. The other dishes, unfortunately, couldn't compete. Absolutely no dish was convincing – except for the Ghormeh Sabzi, which was perhaps a small saving grace. But even the Fesenjan tasted so artificial that I thought I'd accidentally bitten into a chemistry set. And where was the meat? I searched for it like an archaeologist searches for dinosaur bones! I can imagine that this cuisine might satisfy German palates – but for us Persians, it was a unique experience that we never, ever, ever want to repeat. What a shame about the place! The location is truly a dream, and we were so happy to be able to dine there more often. Maybe we were just having a bad day… or maybe the chef left his taste buds on vacation? Who knows? Unfortunately, the tables weren't clean either. Conclusion: Come for the terrace and the friendly service – but skip the food. Unless you're into culinary adventures with uncertain outcomes! Please excuse me; I would have loved to leave you a great review.

Here We went to Shah of Persia today and had the ‘Kale Pache’ – absolutely delicious! The dish was very seasoned, the portions were generous and everything was cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere. Clear recommendation for anyone who loves authentic Persian cuisine!

We came from the Netherlands and the machine did not read our card and the money was not paid and the card was not added to the account because the payment was foreign, but they said that there is no problem. You know, it gave me a sense of pride, a sense of refuge, a sense of being a foreigner and a countryman, a sense of pride for being born in a border where a human was also born. My absolute favorite Persian restaurant! The food is to die for; super tasty, beautifully seasoned and a real treat. The buffet blows me away every time, it's rare to find such a huge selection! No matter whether starters, main courses or desserts. What makes this restaurant special is the great team; Both the staff and the owner are incredibly friendly and professional. Here everyone really does their best to offer guests a great experience; be it through the excellent service or the high quality of the food. Everyone is totally attentive and creates an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome. We work with passion here and you can see that in every detail. The ambience is also great; beautiful decor, calm atmosphere and relaxing music in the background that perfectly rounds off the experience. Every time I visit my parents in Cologne from Marburg, I like to stop by here. It has almost become a tradition for me because I know that I can always eat excellent food here and feel completely at home. I can only recommend it to everyone, regardless of whether you want to try Persian cuisine for the first time or visit often. It's totally worth it! ☺️👏

We had been looking for delicious Persian food for a long time and now we have found what we were always looking for. The food was great, the staff was very nice, the atmosphere was beautiful, I'm very satisfied, we'll come back

It wasn't a nice evening for us: 1) of the Persian dishes on the menu, more than half were unavailable. According to the waiter there were 4 main courses available. After we ordered, the waitress came back with the message from the kitchen that the lamb was not available - so we reordered again. 2) the waitress brought us the food listlessly and then sat at another table in the empty restaurant and looked at her cell phone. When I wanted a second drink I had to get up and walk over to her to get her attention.

Nice quality food, nice team and atmosphere but... Unfortunately there was a large black dog in the kitchen, counter between staff etc. which is really inappropriate in a restaurant or dining area. Unfortunately, after a new request from me, the staff insisted that the dog belongs where it is. A family of our friends with animal hair allergies had to separate from us because of this, which was very unpleasant for me as a tip-giver for the place. The owner must at least put up a sign so people know. A sign would be enough to let people know...

We were not happy at all because the restaurant keeps dogs and the whole floor is full of dog hair.

Quite a hidden place at the border of Pulheim. The place is very good if you want to try authentic Persian dishes. We tried the buffet and another lamb dish. The staff were kind and polite, and also made us some nice Persian tea.

Puhlheim is a really small place. Village. At lunchtime we were the only guests. The buffet/selection was accordingly very small. The food was fresh and of good quality. The employees are lovely. Prices for the buffet are the same for children and adults. We didn't get any advice. Toilets can be reached via several stairs

Unfortunately, only mediocre, neither extremely positive nor negative. The buffet was okay. The stews lacked a bit of "love." Accordingly, the taste was unfortunately bland, which isn't usually the case. The service was very friendly, but they didn't come over to ask if there was anything missing—which I also found a shame, as there's certainly more to be done here overall. It's a bit out of the way, and parking is limited. If I were trying to introduce someone unfamiliar with Persian cuisine to it, I would choose a different place.

We've eaten there many times and I have to honestly say this Iranian restaurant is one of the best. The food tastes very good and reminds us of what we ate in Iran. We were there for the evening buffet. I found the price a bit expensive at €29.90 without drinks. The music was too loud for the small room. The. Food wasn't tasty either. We paid €70 including drinks. For dessert there was only tiramisu with alcohol, which my wife couldn't eat. I'll go there again.

We ate buffet there. The food was just bad, the worst Persian food we have ever eaten. The food was not fresh, kebab was totally torn, ghormesabzi was a black water with a few bones in it. The Miras Ghasemi just wasn't. They even had no fresh bread. They serve in the buffet, the old food that was left in the kitchen. The ambience was cold and uncomfortable. Never again.

Very good food in a pleasant atmosphere

We ordered rump steak once and Persian (Koubideh & Juje Tsheloh). As an appetizer we were given a Persian specialty (kashke bademjoon). The appetizer, greetings from the kitchen, was excellent, our main courses were incredibly tasty, the service was very close and very nice. From the outside the restaurant is rather inconspicuous, but the dishes left a lasting impression and definitely won us over as guests. We will come back and recommend the “Shah of Persia” without reservation.

Insider tip for Christmas Day, you can get a table here and a parking space on the street. We came here because we wanted to eat Persian food and didn't want to spend a lot of money in a nice atmosphere. We had grilled saffron lemon chicken and delicious leg of lamb, which didn't taste harsh at all, but was soft off the bone, delicious! My mother had noodles and tiramisu, these dishes were ok. We didn't taste the pizza. The Persian dishes were delicious, highly recommended. They even do catering for larger groups, which we will try out soon. We would be happy to come back.

Dear restaurant team I would like to share my experience on my last visit, which was unfortunately very disappointing. We had to wait a full three hours for our food, which resulted in an unpleasant experience. The interior design of the restaurant was disastrous and did not contribute to the feeling of well-being. In addition, the service was extremely poor. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality and service in your restaurant. We were also disappointed by the excessive prices, which were disproportionate to the quality offered. These prices seemed unreasonably high to us and contributed to our overall impression of the visit being very negative. Due to the long waiting time, inadequate interior design, poor service and overpriced prices, I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. It's definitely not worth it. Best regards

Ich kannte das Restaurant noch vom Vorbesitzer unter anderem Namen. Die neuen guten Bewertungen auf Google haben mich dann auch auf dieses Nachfolgerestaurant neugierig gemacht. Und persische Küche gibt es ja nun auch nicht an jeder Ecke. Also habe ich einen persischen Essensabend geplant. Das Restaurant sah sehr einladend aus. So wie ich es auch schon von früher her kannte. Vielleicht sogar noch etwas einladender. Etwas störend war, dass ich der einzige Gast war. Aber was soll es, ich wollte ja gut persisch essen und nicht Gäste anschauen. Das was ich von dem persischen Teil der Karte bestellen wollte, Lammhaxe, stand an diesem Abend nicht zur Verfügung also wurde mir ein anderes Gericht alternativ empfohlen. LAMMKOTELETTS. Also vorab eine Zwiebelsuppe und anschließend das Fleischgericht. Die Speisen wurden ansehnlich serviert. Jedoch was den Geschmack betraf, war die Suppe fade und unbedeutend. Unter Zwiebelsuppe verstand ich was anderes, aber vielleicht schmeckt ja persische Zwiebelsuppe nach warmen Wasser mit vielleicht ein wenig Geschmack. Das Hauptgericht, Lamm Kotelett, bestand aus 5 kleinen Koteletts und ein Häuflein trockenen weißen Reis mit etwas gelben Safran darüber gestreut. Das wars. Genau so trocken wie alles aussah, war es auch. Keine Soße, kein Nichts. Die Koteletts waren geschmacklich ok der Reis schmeckte halt so wie trockener Reis schmeckt. Wenn ich überlege, dass ich für ein Essen, das unbedeutend und recht fade war, in ein leeres Lokal von Düsseldorf bis ans Ende der Welt nach Danzweiler gefahren bin, dann hätte ich an diesem Abend sicher was anders machen können. Und jedes Andere wäre besser gewesen. Gut, da die guten Kommentare zu diesem Restaurant auf Google sicher nicht von ungefähr gekommen sind, muss ich an diesem Abend hier sicher etwas sehr untypisches erwischt haben. Was auch immer ich hier erlebt habe war sicher nicht der Standard. Denn wenn das Standard war, dann wäre das Restaurant sicher nicht schon fast ein Jahr vor Ort. Also vergesse ich den Abend und versuche es ein Zweitesmal. Der Service war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente sehr ansprechend, das Essen nicht unbedingt dazu geeignet sich auf den nächsten Besuch zu freuen.

Spontaner Besuch aus Stuttgart ins kleine Dörfchen. Sehr unscheinbar und großer Geheimtipp. Persische Gerichte wie von Mutter, super lecker und Preisleistung passt da kein 0815. Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. 5 von 5 ps natürlich auch Italienisches Küche und Gerichte :-)

Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig auf Google Maps entdeckt und waren erstaunt, dass die iranische Küche angeboten wird. Das Restaurant ist groß und hat eine schöne, beleuchtete Terrasse. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben das iranische Djudjeh bestellt und die Portionen waren ordentlich und vor allem köstlich. Auf Nachfrage haben wir erfahren, das bald alle Sorten des iranischen Kebabs demnächst angeboten wird. Wir werden wieder kommen und dieses Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Einfach nur TOP! Das Essen ist hervorragend, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und auch das Drumherum stimmt. Ein Manko? Leider sehr abgelegen. Aber das ist auch alles.

Die Außenanlage war leider geschlossen. Das Hähnchenfleisch war sehr trocken, bei der Sauce hätte es etwas mehr sein können.

Absoluter Geheimtipp, gerade im Sommer lockt die schön eingerichtete Gartenterrasse nach draußen. Hier lässt es sich gut gehen. Der Wirt hat sich höchst persönlich um uns gekümmert und uns in die verschiedenen iranischen Menüs eingeführt. Wir hatten eine super leckere und geschmacklich tolle Vorspeisenplatten mit verschiedenem Humus und Quarkdipps. Zum Hauptgang gab es Reis mit Fleisch welches schön und unterschiedlich gewürzt war, so dass alle für ihren Geschmack belohnt wurden. Immer wieder gerne.

War gestern das erste mal da.... Nettes freundliche lokal mit sehr schönem gepflegtem Biergarten.... Freundliche Bedienung. Essen war lecker und reichlich.. Und vom preis Leistungsverhältnis ok Ich komme gerne wieder und werde dieses Lokal auch weiter empfehlen
