We weren't given an alternative, even though we only wanted a coffee, which would have taken half an hour until the next customer. Teresa is there, but she doesn't smell like sitting there. I won't go there again. The bakery 100 meters away is much better.

Unfortunately, the pancakes were the worst I've had in a long time. Lukewarm, sticky, dry, and tasteless, to say the least. 🤮 The service was so-so; I don't think I'll give this place a second chance.

I went there with a friend for breakfast. They had pancakes with blueberries to choose from: 4 or 2. When I ordered 2, I was informed that they were only available as dessert. My friend said she had only ordered 2 last time. There was no response. So I got the larger portion with 4 pancakes, and the rest had to be thrown away. I think that's a shame. The service generally seemed very unmotivated and taciturn. They would have benefited from more smiles.

The breakfast was a visual highlight and exceptionally delicious. Reserving a table is recommended.

Unfortunately, emails to the restaurant go unanswered, reservations are canceled by the staff (despite prior arrangements on site), and the response is unfriendly. It's a real shame, because the breakfast is delicious, but the service (in our case) leaves a lot to be desired.

Very nice restaurant with unusual dishes. We were there for breakfast. Coconut yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. Very tasty, but a bit overpriced at €13.90 in my opinion. Very friendly service. Card payments accepted.

Highly recommended! All the breakfast dishes were fresh, delicious, and had a certain flair. It wasn't the last time we were there. And we'll be trying the evening menu soon, too. The service staff were very friendly, and even special requests were accommodated wherever possible!

The food isn't exactly cheap, but it's really good and the price is reasonable. The seating directly on the street isn't that great. Plastic chairs, small tables—there's definitely potential here. It looks great inside, but feels very cramped. I would definitely make a reservation.

We've spent so many wonderful evenings at MOOD and we're always happy to return! The food (both breakfast and dinner) is incredibly good and simply fantastic! Unusual but always perfectly balanced, with combinations you've never tried before that always blow you away! The service is very attentive, the drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Small but perfectly formed, we love it!

We were there for breakfast this morning – unfortunately for the first and last time. First, the wrong coffee arrived, and it was also cold. Of the four dishes we ordered, only one was brought. We had to wait a full 40 minutes for the other three. When they finally arrived, two of them weren't as ordered either. The service was friendly, but completely overwhelmed and unfortunately not well-informed. There were no clear answers to questions, and overall, everything seemed haphazard – and the place wasn't even full. In the end, despite all the mistakes, we were charged the full price. One thing is clear to us: We won't be back. We'd rather spend our money at a restaurant where the service, organization, and cuisine are top-notch.

Mood is a beautiful little restaurant with a fantastic breakfast and dinner menu, and the specials are also highly recommended. The service is attentive and very friendly. We often visit Mood, whether for breakfast or dinner, and we've never had to wait long for our food or been disappointed. We're already looking forward to our next visit and are excited to see what we'll find next on the specials menu. It's definitely worth a visit. No dogs allowed, and it's not stated anywhere online. We wanted to have brunch there for our birthday. However, dogs aren't allowed. This isn't mentioned in the booking process or online. We were offered outside seating, but at 9 degrees in the shade, no thanks. Of course, the dining room is small, but we're talking about a 9kg miniature poodle, not an 80kg St. Bernard. Unfortunately, we drove all the way to Pulheim. This meant that breakfast had to be canceled. I'm not really a dog person, but I don't think anyone would have been bothered by the animal under the table.

Nice little place, cozy and inviting. There are a few outdoor seats. The price-performance ratio isn't always right—especially with the eggplant dish. Almost 20 euros for a slice of eggplant is a bit steep.

We were there for breakfast today and it simply blew my wife and I away. My wife had the “Bagel & Avocado” and I had “Brioche & Benedict”, for dessert (although not necessary because the portions were really bomb, but we wanted to try more) “Greek yogurt with mango and granola” and “Pancakes Nutella”. It was a dream, everything was fresh and handmade. The service is unobtrusive but always present and available, extremely friendly. Absolutely awesome, a MUST! We will come back.

We weren't happy - we had saddle of veal and surf & turf. 1) the portions were way too small. The steak was less than 200g and only 1.5cm thick. Accordingly, it was completely cooked through (the veal too). The two king prawns were rather small… 2) no sauce, garnish, decoration - some mayo on the side. The steak was a bit lost on the small plate. 3) Service was great - the lady had her hands full but managed to serve everyone well.

We like going to this little restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and you feel more like you are in a large living room. However, the tables are a bit too small. And when you order water, wine, starters and bread, you run out of space and the decorations end up on the bench. I was really looking forward to my Pornstar Martini, which according to Instagram is now being offered there. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. A real PornstarMartini is served with vanilla vodka and a glass of sparkling wine or champagne on the side. This one is made with whipped egg white...with a dried orange slice instead of passion fruit...you should improve that ☺️... But they have our favorite white wine, Ca dei Frati 😋 Unfortunately, veal was pretty dry this time and I let it go back and got a new piece of meat immediately and without any problems. I like it there and we will definitely come back.

A unique breakfast food was offered, it was delicious. We came there spontaneously (better to make a reservation) anyhow as I said we were spontaneous. We sat outside and I asked if they had a blanket, for the price of the menu, they don't have any blankets to offer. The servers were friendly but not warm. You can feel they asked just because they need to ask but in terms of energy or warmness they lacked those... :) Maybe eating there for one time is more than enough. By the way inside the restaurant was noisy since it was fully booked inside. :) So how can u enjoy the cozy environment when it's noisy. Just saying. There's always room for improvement.

We had a really good breakfast here. The restaurant is small but modernly furnished. The service was very good - attentive without being intrusive. The menu is not overloaded and every single meal was really very good, both visually and in terms of taste.

Der Besuch im MOOD war, wie immer sehr gut, doch es hat uns gestört, dass wir unseren reservierten Tisch nach 1,5 Stunden verlassen und daher noch ein anderes Café aufsuchen mussten. Ich hätte es begrüßt, vorher davon unterrichtet zu werden. Es wird im Vorfeld (bei Onlinebuchung) zwar darauf hingewiesen, dass es sein kann, doch es ist ja nicht bei allen Tischen der Fall gewesen. Trotzdem gebe ich die vollen Sterne, da das Essen, der Service und das Ambiente hervorragend sind!!!!

Das Essen hat nach fast nichts geschmeckt und war dafür viel zu teuer. Wir dachten nach dem Studium der Speisekarte im Internet, dass könnte etwas sein. War es aber nicht. Alles in allem: Nicht zu empfehlen!

Each visit is a unique experience. Great ambience/interior with tasteful background music. Food also impeccable, personally a big fan of “beef steak and fries” as well as the recently added “Special” burger. The service employees are a young, hard-working team with whom I have never had any complaints. Boss is very attentive and considerate. You'll come back.

A nice shop in itself, unfortunately very narrow. You hear every conversation. Rather unpleasant for me. Service is very slow, which bothers me personally. I don't feel like receiving my coffee 30 minutes after arriving. Plus the waitress didn't even know what the individual dishes on the menu were. Even if you're new, which I can only assume, you should find out about the food beforehand. Food was tasty, but nothing special. Thanks :)

Raumgrösse relativ klein bzw. eng. Wurde durch weiteren abgestellten Kinderwagen weiter eingeschränkt. Als dann noch direkt neben uns ein Hund platziert wurde haben wir dann reservierten Tisch verlassen. Wer es mag Bitteschön, Man sollte dann aber vorher reservieren da der Laden relativ voll war. Bedienung war angenehm freundlich👍

Camel Here dir breakfast and enjoyed a very delicat mediterranen chick pea stew with roasted, buttered bread on the side. Very cost atmosphere and super friendky staff. Not too many seats, it's recommended to makeva reservation.

Service war etwas langsam. Insgesamt etwas eng. Man bekommt jedes Gespräch mit. Die Räumlichkeiten nebenan, ebenfalls Moods, wären etwas großzügiger und gemütlicher.

Small but nice. Both the restaurant and the menu. We had a nice evening and nice service. The food was top! The only negative point - the steak was not asked how I wanted it fried, and unfortunately I had forgotten that I wanted it medium rare.

Ate at Mood for the first time. A small restaurant with some high prices. The gnocchi were very good. Unfortunately, the steak that followed was a bit overcooked and very small for the high price. Overall, there is still room for improvement.

Ein sehr leckeres und besonderes Frühstück! Egal ob lieber etwas klassisch Süßes, etwas Besonderes an Herzhaftem, mehr in Richtung Brunch, Fitness oder zum Schlemmen, man hat wirklich die Qual der Wahl! Auch Veganer werden glücklich. Eine kleine, besondere Location, sehr zu empfehlen! Und unbedingt vorher reservieren!

Qualitativ das beste Essen in Pulheim. Kreativ und immer hervorragend. Dazu eine tolle Auswahl an Weinen und Getränken. Zusätzlich gibt es außergewöhnliche Gewüzmischungen, Wein, Traubensaft usw.. zu kaufen, da findet man auch immer ein nettes Mitbringsel für Freunde o.ä. Abgerundet durch nette Servicekräfte und einen sympathischen Inhaber/ Koch. Also auch unbedingt ausprobieren!

There were two of us and we each ordered the menu. Based on the reviews, we expected a little more. Visually, the food was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, from our point of view, the theme of “price-performance” doesn’t fit at all. But that's not the only thing that made us stop visiting the location. My tuna was completely “done”. When I asked the waiter about it, he explained that the restaurant was full. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. Furthermore, the waiter turned the glass with each wine so that he could see the calibration mark and poured exactly up to this point... ok. When the bottle was empty but my glass hadn't yet been poured to the calibration mark, he didn't refill it. If I do such a Zenober, please do it in both directions. All in all: in my opinion there are much better alternatives for the price

Der Besuch ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Sehr guter und liebenswerter Service und ein sehr gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Mal in etwas anderer Form und mit einer nicht klassischen Frühstücksauswahl, aber verdammt lecker. Hat aber auch ihren Preis.

Beautiful restaurant, very tastefully decorated. We had arranged to meet for breakfast. I had an incredibly delicious avocado bread with a poached egg. Very friendly service staff. Always my pleasure.

Overall, very nice café/restaurant with friendly service and creative dishes. What was quite disappointing, however, was that not everything was made in-house given the (rather higher) prices; For example, a huge pile of ready-made hollandaise was slapped on top of my Egg Benedict - there was still room for improvement!

We were there today for our 9 year old and were very satisfied. The gnocci with truffle, prawns with avocado and salmon with wasabi sauce were excellent. The chicken with mashed sweet potatoes was a little too dry. The potato with bacon was not that good in terms of the quality of the potato. Too hard and not enough flavor. The goat cheese was good just a little too much even for two. The chicken and potato had Flying Goose Sriratcha mayonnaise. I really like them and have them in the fridge myself, but given the price level and demands, I wouldn't have expected a finished product whose taste you know and identify immediately. Our table for two was also quite small (approx. 50x50cm) and narrow. If you then want to put several drink glasses, plates and food bowls there, it will be a bit cramped on the table. The lighting is definitely too dim. That would be nice and dim for a bar, but I want to be able to see my food in a restaurant. Especially when it is so elaborate and beautifully prepared. This is all criticism at a high level. Basically, quality, ambience, service, etc. is excellent. In Pulheim it is difficult to find a restaurant of similar quality. Update: 6/27/24 Had breakfast at Mood today. I had bacon & burgers. The portion was extremely large and tasty. But what I also noticed today was that the sauce was again a finished product, or a mixture of finished products, like the first time. This time, mayo was mixed together with (I assume) BBQ sauce plus terriyaki sauce. I thought that was a shame and you can taste it very clearly. Although we were very impressed with the food at Mood, that's a star deduction for me. Making a sauce like this yourself isn't particularly time-consuming and, secondly, it's simply much tastier. I think the creations are too good to be drowned in ready-made mayo.
