Das Essen war gut, nur das Gyros an sich war etwas geschmackslos. Das Personal war sehr nett. Ich hatte einen Taxiteller und musste für Tzatziki und Mayo (was eigentlich auf einen Taxiteller gehört) 2 Euro extra zahlen – das fand ich etwas fragwürdig. Aber alles in allem solide.

Wir waren schon mehrmals Kegeln bei Gianni's und es hat uns jedes Mal super gefallen! Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Leckeres Essen und viel Platz auf der Kegelbahn auch mit einer größeren Gruppe.

Es ist wirklich toll.. Preise sind human und die Portionen, insbesondere die Beilagen, sind riesig. Kann ich mur empfehlen. Endlich auch mal ein Restaurant mit Parkplätzen

Wie immer: freundlich und vor allem ein Gyros den man gegessen haben muss! Die üblichen Salate, Pommes, Getränke und das eine oder andere Bierchen gibt es auch.

Gyros Pommes Tzatziki. Sehr gut. Selten große Portion. Service sehr freundlich. Nur 4 Sterne da ich nur diese Speise beurteilen kann. Ich komme wieder.

Das beste Restaurant für Gyros, das man hier finden kann. Seit Jahren eine absolute Bereicherung und immer einen Besuch wert. Das gesamte Personal ist total freundlich, lustig und schnell. Die Bestellungen sind immer fehlerfrei und die Portionen sehr groß, sodass man auf jeden Fall satt wird. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne her!

Das beste Gyros!!! Ich mag normal nicht so gerne Gyros, weil es meist eine fettige, sehnige und überwürzte Geschichte ist, aber nicht hier. Es ist wirklich verdammt lecker...und der Bohnen- und Gurkensalat ist auch megalecker. Wir fahren mehrmals im Jahr eine Strecke von 100 Kilometer, um uns dort das Gyros schmecken zu lassen.

Wir waren zwar noch nicht so häufig da, 4 oder 5 mal, und haben dann überwiegend, weil Lieblingsessen 😉, Gyros-Pommes groß mit Tzaziki, auch mal mit zusätzlichem Salat gegessen. Das war wirklich lecker! Was ich jedoch beim letzten Mal erleben musste, schlägt dem Fass die Krone aus 😳. Ich wollte mal was anderes und bestellte ein Schnitzel mit Jägersoße und großer Pommes. Was ich da bekam, war echt grottig. Das Schnitzel war riesig (3 Handflächen -Männerhände (!)- groß) und milimeterdünn. 😖 Und dann die Verpackung: Das Schnitzel in der Styroporpackung, eine ordentliche Portion fader Soße darauf - erstaunlich, daß Pilze dabei waren - und die große Portion Pommes so darauf gepresst, daß die Verpackung gerade so zuging. Zuhause angekommen hatte die Soße die Schnitzelpanade und die Pommes durchtränkt und völlig aufgeweicht. Echt jetzt? Wenn ich Brei hätte haben wollen, hätte ich Brei bestellt. Das war unterirdisch. 😠 Ja, ich werde wieder hingehen, denn das Essen bisher war wirklich lecker, der Service sehr nett und die Atmosphäre finde ich schön urig. Aber ich werde ab sofort hinschauen, wie was zubereitet und wie es verpackt wird. Denn ein frisches Schnitzel sollte aus frischem Fleisch sein und die Panade locker und knusprig. Die Soße sollte separat in einem Schälchen sein, denn die einen mögen es auf dem Schnitzel, die anderen daneben. Also: Augen auf bei der Bestellung und klare Order, wie man was haben will. Dann gibt's auch kein Ärger mit der Erwartung 😉. Ach so, und einen Stern Abzug, weil bei einer Bestellung vor Ort dachte ich, ich wäre mit einer Frage gemeint und habe geantwortet, und bekam die patzige Antwort, es gäbe auch andere, die was essen wollten und vor mir bestellt hätten. No Go! 🤨

Bestes Gyros in Pulheim und Umgebung. Die Portionen sind einfach perfekt. Ein großes Gyros ist hier wirklich ein großes Gyros. Hoffe das bleibt so👌

Tolles Essen, sehr nettes Team, gute Preise. Das Lokal ist sehr sauber. Man wird schnell und sehr gut bedient. Heute 10.06.23 wieder Essen bei "Gianni's Grill". Man kann es nicht oft genug sagen.: Es ist wirklich, wirklich lecker 😋 Heute 17.02.24 wieder bei Gianni's eingekehrt und es war wie immer seeeeeeehr lecker. Heute am 27.04.2024 Gianni's gegessen. Es ist sooooo lecker. Heute 30.06.3024 wie immer sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Heute 17.01.2026, weiterhin sehr zu empfehlen.

Super lecker das Gyros hier. Sogar glutenfrei möglich was einfacj mur mega ist. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

We went to the bowling alley and ate there too. The portions were huge, almost impossible to finish. A small portion was plenty. Unfortunately, they only had bottled beer, but that was okay too.

This gyro is outrageous!!! Outrageously good. I'm really very critical of gyros. It's usually meat that "has to go"; full of tendons, fat, boar fat, or whatever. I actually only know three places where I eat gyros. Everything here is absolutely perfect. If there were 6 stars, I'd give it 6. If you eat anything else here, it's your own fault. Extremely awesome tzatziki, top-notch fries. It was more of a coincidence that I ended up here today. But I promise: I won't eat any other gyro. You really can't do better!!!!! Thank you so much. Perfect gyros, as delicious as it looks, fast, clean, and friendly.

We had a quick bite to eat there and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. 👍🏼

I only tried the meat and was quite disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't particularly enjoy it; it was too dry and didn't taste all that great. Perhaps the sauces etc. would have made up for it, but I can't judge that.

So far, the best gyro I've had in the surrounding area. Portion size was decent, the meat was very tasty! The tzatziki was great! I'd definitely go back...

I've never had such a delicious and non-greasy gyro. I don't know what you're doing, but please don't stop doing it. The kids really enjoyed it too. We'll be regulars now ❤️

Gyros not to my taste. Personally, it's too dry and lacking in seasoning. The portion was also too small for the price. The tzatziki tasted good. The place is nicely decorated. Definitely a good choice for the neighborhood, but I wouldn't go far for it.

The food was extremely delicious, the size was perfect, and the service was impeccable. Even though I didn't have enough money with me, I was allowed to eat in peace first and bring the money later in the evening. I'd be happy to go back!

For me, this is the best snack bar in Pulheim. Very friendly, always accommodating, and the service is excellent. The portions are really large, and the food is top-quality. You pay a little more for that, but quality comes at a price, but it's not worth it compared to other snack bars. Especially since this snack bar is also struggling with rising energy costs and staff shortages. So, a definite recommendation.

Gyros pita, fries with mayo: The fries were ok. The gyros weren't enough in quantity. Also dry and bland. There was no taste at all. Pita looked like the cheapest frozen food and unfortunately tasted like it too. The tzatziki was OK. All in all disappointing - especially since the many glowing reviews give hope for much better.

If you like very good gyros and great fries, you should go here. Really always very tasty seasoned meat, but not over seasoned meat, also lean and tender.....also nice staff and really good portions....my recommendation, simply great!

Typical German-Turkish grill. Primarily kebab, but also a small selection of other typical snack dishes. Bowling alley in the basement is quite good, you can party here inexpensively.

I haven't been there for 3 years but it's still not as tasty. There's just the plastic chairs to eat on site. They're no longer really nice and at home, so maybe it's not always just to pick up XD

The best gyros in the whole area, hardly any fat, you can taste the spices, I'm burned for other gyros providers. All the salads, the tzatziki, souvlaki, schnitzel...really delicious. Gyros very good, but also very expensive

Delicious cuisine, but room for improvement in portioning I recently spent an evening at Gianni's and overall I enjoyed the visit, however there are a few points I would like to raise. First of all, the food at Gianni's is really delicious. The meat is juicy and the ingredients used impress with their freshness and quality. A special highlight was the tzatziki, which was very well seasoned and pleasantly creamy. However, in my opinion the gyro was seasoned a bit too lightly. I would have liked a little more spice and flavor here to really make the dish perfect. The staff at Gianni's is quick and courteous. The service was always friendly and the service left nothing to be desired. However, I found the price for a gyro plate to be quite high compared to other restaurants in the area. Especially since the portioning was a bit unbalanced. The plate was mostly filled with fries and the meat was a bit sparse. Another restaurant nearby offers a similar amount as a small plate for 3 euros less. All in all, I had a delicious meal at Gianni's and had a pleasant evening. However, next time I would like the focus to be more on the meat and less on the fries. The idea that the amount of fries served as a cost-cutting measure should not arise. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the next visit and am looking forward to further culinary experiences.

Gyros: Meat is like 6/10, fries are ok too. All in all a bit expensive but you can do it. Cheeseburger: didn't know you could beat it to be honest. TK patty was prepared in the deep fryer with the fries and not put on the grill. Tomato, cucumber, lots of sauce and WAY too big and lots of onions I actually didn't find any cheese on it haha. Service is top! And the atmosphere there is also very good! Ordering went quickly!

The owners are very unfriendly and aloof! The prices are extremely high and the size of the portion has been reduced at the same time. But the store is doing so well that the gentlemen no longer need to be nice and friendly to the customers who fill their pockets with money.

It used to be better but at least it was very friendly and clean.

We went out to eat at lunchtime. The gyro plate was good. Delicious tzatziki. Fresh onions. The fries were crispy. There are some seats. The service was very friendly. The style is calm and tidy. Think we will come again.

I have known Gianni's Grill since it started in Sinnersdorf in the 1980s. Always top and for us the best place to go for gyros etc. in the Pulheim area.

Self-service takeaway restaurant; after ordering at the counter, the food is brought to your table. You take your own drinks from the fridge. Value for money is very good. Highly recommended.

Gianni's Grill is a permanent institution in Pulheim. We really enjoy going here to get food. We rarely eat on site, but that's not because of the grill itself; we usually eat the dishes with several people somewhere else. Prices have gone up, but gyros taste great here and the portions are generous. The two "owners" (if it's not just one of the two) are always very friendly and available for a chat. All in all, I can highly recommend the grill.

Even with a lot of goodwill, I cannot derive the positive reports. Portions are meager, small requests like “lots of tzatziki” on the pita are ignored. If you ask for “a lot of meat” with a wink, it will cost you extra. Lost me as a customer, totally OK :)

I recently moved here and got something there, unfortunately I didn't like it at all, and it was pretty expensive. I've eaten better gyros, but the staff weren't friendly and they even shouted at me on the phone. Conclusion: Not recommended.

Very friendly team. I don't know of any other snack bar that offers such good gyros, especially the quality is always right. No matter whether pita, gyro plate or gratinated. It really always tastes good. The prices are okay too. The only negative thing is that due to a lack of staff, no pizzas are offered, which severely limits the selection of vegetarian dishes. Otherwise, it's always really great. As soon as pizzas are offered again, we will give it the fifth star.

Certainly not the coziest Greek restaurant, more of a self-service snack bar (food is brought, however) However, the quality of the food blows it all out. Everything is very tasty and fresh. You have to look for such good gyros (and tzatziki) for a long time!

After a long wait I got something here, a gyros pita to take away, the meat and coleslaw were good. Only the pita was very dry. Haven't tasted or seen any tzatziki. I didn't pay any attention to it when preparing it either. Gianni's Grill has slowed down quite a bit, but was once much better.

Edit 2024. Unfortunately I moved away from Pulheim, now I always come here from Leverkusen, they still have the best gyros and the friendly service here 😃 The best gyros in the area for years. Here the meat is always of high quality and deliciously seasoned. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, this restaurant is simply a legend in the area.

For me the top Greek snack bar. Always delicious and better than some Greek restaurants I've visited. Price and performance are right, the portions are really big. It's a shame it's so far away, otherwise I would come by more often.

It was my first time there and I ordered a portion of gyros with fries and salad. Everything was very delicious. What I found unfortunate and that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars was that my wish to get the salad separately wasn't possible. A separate bowl means a little more salad, but also a higher price. All in all: Not cheap, but tasty. You can definitely do it

Top Kleinimbiss, sauber, lecker und freundlich

Pommes waren gut und lecker. Die Wurst der Currywurst war von der Konsistenz her nicht mein Fall, eher weich und schaumig.

Also mal ganz ehrlich , was zieht euch noch zu diesem Gianni, zur Gründungszeit, also zu dem "UR" Gianni stand QUALITÄT an erster stelle . Heute ist das anders , was ich uns da am Samstag zu wohl haupt Zeit für 24,-- Euro gegönnt habe war das letzte an Essen. Qualität max . 1 * Satt wird man von allen . selbst von trockenem Brot . !! Gyros ala Gianni . Nicht richtig gar geschweigen den Braun, die Pommes viel zu kurz gebraten , da Zazikki na ja , aber die Zwiebeln die waren echt gut. Fazit : Nie wieder GIANNI `S Und unterhaltet euch nicht über den kauf von Porsche wenn Kunden an der Theke stehen. Alles Gute für eure Zukunft ???? Schade für Pulheim .

Bester Imbiss der Umgebung tolle Qualität

Ich bin mit Giannis Grill groß geworden und noch heute 30 Jahre später nehme ich eine Fahrt von 40 KM in Kauf um meinen Kindern den besten Gyros im Umkreis zu kaufen.
