Dear, considerate staff and good food at reasonable prices. For 20 euros you get a meal, extra naan and a drink. The butter naan is recommended. Our leftovers from the large portions were packed quickly and well.

Shaan offers a delicious Indian dining experience with authentic flavors and warm hospitality. The Scampi Biryani, Thali Special and Exotic Murgh were exceptional and the service was impeccable. With generous portions and a lively ambience, it is a must for anyone craving real Indian cuisine. We recommend! I personally like it, great service, I will come back.

As a tourist, I was missing Indian food. So, dining at Shaan was a highlight of my visit. The authentic Indian flavors and vibrant ambiance provided an unforgettable experience. I went there twice in a week! The Mutton Champignon, Shahi Korma and Shaan Thali was so delicious, and the staff's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. A must-visit for anyone exploring the best Indian cuisine!

I come to Berlin once a year and always try to eat here at least once on my trip :) Tonight our server Vijay was great, the food was amazing as always, and we sat outside and enjoyed a nice summer evening. I love the mango lassi— 10/10, will come again!

Shaan Indian Restaurant at Richardplatz in Berlin provided a delightful dining experience for my sister and nieces. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The food was deliciously spicy, with a great selection for kids. The garlic naan was particularly outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor. I went there with my family for dinner, it was an amazing and wonderful experience. Each staff member is polite. The dishes they served were very delicious. We ordered kadhai paneer, daal makhani, salad, mixed veg curd and butter naan. I would definitely suggest that everyone should go there.

We were in the mood for Indian cuisine again. Have been here a few times. But this time different league!!! Our curries were so delicious, simply brilliantly seasoned and really aromatic. And the highlight for all of us were the naan and bathhura breads. So great. Either you have new recipes or new chefs. We are already looking forward to the next time with you. Absolute recommendation

I've been visiting this Indian place for about 5 years and I have to say, I've never been really convinced. The chicken dishes only differ slightly in taste. It also has the consistency of chicken meat. This is very rubbery and no matter whether fried or pickled, both taste very disappointing (especially for the price of at least €12). The rice is simple and is a good “side dish”. The mango lassi tastes a bit too sweet and for 5 euros it's not exactly free Service is very friendly but I wouldn't come back just for that reason

Große Auswahl an Speisen. Nicht zu teuer, freundliche Bedienung. Und sehr lecker.

Das Essen ist ganz gut. Und da die Preise in den letzten Jahren m.E. nicht branchenüblich gestiegen sind, stimmt jetzt eigentlich auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, was früher hier nicht im Rahmen war. Problematisch ist allerdings, dass man sich in dem Laden überhaupt nicht willkommen fühlt. Hierzu trägt schon alleine das Ambiente bei. Vielmehr ist das Personal aber teilweise extrem abweisend, insbesondere Kindern gegenüber. Für Trinkgeld wird sich ebenfalls nicht vernünftig bedankt. Vielleicht sind 10 Euro bei einer 70 Euro Rechnung aber auch unter den Erwartungen. Zumindest aber nicht genug, um einen früher üblichen Likör auf das Haus oder ein freundliches Wort zu bekommen. Veranschiedungen, wenn man den Laden verlässt, hält man offensichtlich ebenfalls für überflüssig. Ich war seit vielen Jahren das erste Mal wieder dort. So schnell werde ich wohl nicht wiederkommen...

Absolut unterirdisches Essen. Das Hühnchen hat alt geschmeckt und war sehr trocken. Service war freundlich, hat aber Sachen vergessen. Leider eine sehr sehr schlechte Erfahrung.

Wir waren gestern im Shaan essen und von den leckeren Gerichten begeistert. Die Portionsgröße war reichlich und der Service gut.

Der service war schnell und freundlich. Zum essen kann ich nicht viel sagen, da wir nur cocktails trinken waren. Diese waren aber gut und ab 18 Uhr zahlt man nur noch 5 Euro für einen. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend.

So schlecht habe ich noch nie in einem Indischen Restaurant gegessen. Das Ambiente ist düster und es ist nicht sauber genug. Chutney war nur Dipp. Mein Gericht hatte jede Menge Zwiebeln, keinen Ingwer, wie angegeben und die Zutaten waren lauwarm, weil sie nur mit heissem Öl übergossen wurden. Es war unglaublich. In einem anderen Beitrag wurden schwach beleuchteten Toiletten bemängelt. Die Antwort: es wird ja nicht in der Toilette gegessen....

0 Star! very much UNFRIENDLY service, NEVER Greet as we came in, NEVER say Thank you or even say Bye as we payed. Really DISRESPECTFUL waiters (specially the old small guy) . The food never taste and never looks what is actually must look and taste like. It's like a Cheated Menu...Tasteless, too much bones as meat. U can't even smell the Indian curry or anything. Toilet is super yuck! If u want a real bad day, go and eat there. For real not recommended. Ruined our night! Money wasted.

Reserviert 18.30 Uhr. Bestellaufnahme ging sehr schnell. Erstes Getränk 18.45 Uhr. Essenbestellung 18.45 Uhr Nach 30min. fragte der Kellner ob wir schon bestellt haben, 30 min. später, kahm das Essen, lau warm und nicht lecker. Insgesamt einfach schrecklich und wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen. Schade eigentlich.

Das Restaurant ist am Richardplatz gelegen mit großem Außenbereich. Das Personal ist immer sehr nett und freundlich, das Essen lecker und schnell zubereitet. Hier kann man eine entspannte Zeit verbringen!

Für ein indisches Restaurant wenig vegan und viel mit Milch gekocht. Beim rausgehen ist mir dann auch die Weihenstephan Werbung aufgefallen. Das Essen war aber ganz lecker und das Personal sehr nett.

Es war schön und das Essen war sehr lecker.Nur die Toiletten sind etwas dunkel.

They told us we can pay via card and in the end they told us we cannot pay with non-german card. We had to withdraw money from a nearby atm for 4 euros, to pay! That 4 euros would have been tip if not for this, so congrats... Food was horrible, lamb was tallowy, tallow clearly wasn't removed. I asked if lamb was stew textured, they said no. It *was* stew textured. Cocktail was cheap but a mess too, I could have asked for strawberry milk with half glass of rum instead and it would have tasted the same probably. I give a 2 not just a 1 cause athmosphere and service was nice.

Eigentlich sollte man ja nicht ein Restaurant ausschließlich auf Grundlage der Bedienung bewerten. Aber eine andere Möglichkeit gibt es nicht, wenn man sich draußen hinsetzt, uns nach fünf Minuten Wartezeit die vier Speisekarten grußlos auf den Tisch geknallt werden und sich dann eine halb Stunde gar nichts mehr tut. Ok, das war´s dann, denn irgendwann reicht es und man geht in die Nähe in eines der anderen vielen Lokale - so auch wir.

Nettes Ambiente, sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung, stehts bemüht und frisches sowie leckeres Essen ! Besuche diesen Inder seit 11 Jahren.

Sehr leckeres indisches Essen (wir haben vegetarisch gegessen). Essen kam sehr schnell, alles war frisch und sehr gut gewürzt und der Service war freundlich und engagiert. Tipp für die Inneneinrichtung: die dunkle Wandfarbe und gedimmte Beleuchtung schafft etwas zuviel "Höhlen Atmosphäre", etwas heller wäre schön.
