The service was remarkable. The staff was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our order was taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for our food, which is always a plus. And now for the most important part - the food! The selection of kebab dishes is impressive and offers something for every taste. I chose the classic doner kebab and it was an excellent choice. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the sides were fresh and crunchy, and the bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every ingredient harmonized wonderfully with each other and created a taste experience that is second to none.

This restaurant has deteriorated extremely. As a German you now feel absolutely unwelcome there. While the tables with oriental guests are served with the finest food first, as a German you are treated in a totally derogatory manner by the staff. Cards and food are slapped on the table. Portions are many times smaller than at the next table. Lahmacun with kebab came without kebab. Upon request, there were 3 tablespoons of kebab meat on a cake plate for an additional charge of 4 euros. No apology - just clapped in annoyance. No bread basket for Germans to eat. After that you are ignored. We waited 20 minutes to finally be able to pay. I used to come here almost every week. From now on I will go to restaurants where I am welcome as a German.

Came across this restaurant by chance. Simply mega. Fresh food. You can watch the chefs preparing food. Everything is fresh and the taste is simply delicious. Been here twice now and wasn't disappointed.

The food is less recommended. Not very flavorful and very greasy. The service leaves a lot to be desired, but the store is large and central. You can also go with larger groups and there are toilets.

My friend and I went there and we didn't like it at all. The kebab had a very strange, disgusting aftertaste, the man behind the counter has several tongs at his disposal but uses one to get into all the salad containers, 2 chairs and part of the bench were damaged (at least the upholstery of it). The only thing that was a little pleasant was that the young woman who was there asked us if we wanted something to drink, but otherwise I am absolutely disappointed in this shop with this rating.

Not recommendable. A blonde waitress, very unfriendly, slaps the cards in front of your nose, talks unfriendly, simply no service. Doner kebab is also bad, I said it 3 times without red cabbage, it had more red cabbage in it than I have no idea what. Very poorly distributed at the bottom was all the meat and the salad was at the top. The sauce had nothing to do with tzatziki. You can't complain about the men behind the scenes but that's the only positive thing. Was my first and last visit.

Lively shop with extremely friendly service. The kebab is simple but good, especially the quality of the meat. The skewers are really cool, they have a real charcoal taste. Salads are also great, as is bread.

Very unpleasant experience on a Saturday evening. I came in with two fellow students late on a Saturday evening after placing a Too Good to Go order. Since it still took 20 minutes until I could redeem the code, I ordered a portion of Tantuni for €9. I received 3 very small rolls of flatbread with primarily onions and a very small amount of meat. A friendly greeting was in vain. So far not so good, it was finally time for the Too Good to Go order. Their profile mentioned kebab meat, but this remained just a dream. All they said was "no kebab meat, no" and I was fobbed off with two portions of inedible soup, which, judging by the taste, had already seen the turn of the century. The highlight, however, was that we were not allowed to eat the soup in the restaurant, despite the fact that we were already sitting at the table with the food we ordered normally. We were ultimately dismissed with the words that this was not possible.

Sehr gutes Essen. Service könnte ein bisschen besser sein,der Laden wahr natürlich auch sehr voll. Da würde halt mal was vergessen. Es wurde sie aber dann entsprechend entschuldigt. Und damit ist es von unserer Seite auch ok.

Das Essen war lecker. Bedienung war trotz hohem Andrang sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Tee zum Schluss war sehr gut. Einziger "kleiner" Kritikpunkt war der Geruch im Flur vor den Toiletten. Trotzdem, wenn wir nochmal in Hannover sind kommen wir wieder hier hin.

Die Lamm Spieße waren genauso Klasse wie der Reis. Wenn ich unbedingt was kritisieren soll... Der Salat hätte etwas vielfältiger sein können aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Danke ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir waren vor 2 Wochen auf der Durchreise hier im Sesam Restaurant essen und können die meist sehr positiven Bewertungen nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Das Ambiente ist eher überschaubar und das Essen war bei uns nun wirklich keine Besonderheit. Schade

Wir waren in Hannover in der Nähe vom HBF essen. Die Bedienung war richtig assozial, mich wundert, dass man uns nicht auf die Teller gespuckt hat, nur dafür gibt es kein ungenügend. Offensichtlich nur ein Laden ausschließlich für Personen mit geringem Sauberkeitsempfinden und geringem Anspruch. Auch der Tisch an dem wir saßen, war wackelig und klebte von den Resten vom Vorgänger. Wir wurden nicht richtig angesprochen, obwohl man wegen Covid - 19 bedient werden sollte, die Musik war so laut und nur für eine bestimmte Zielgruppe, dass man sich nicht unterhalten konnte und Dank Covid - 19 war der Laden auch sehr voll, da sich die Krankheit nur draußen weiter verbreiten können soll. Hoffendlich machen die bald wieder zu. Dann kann sich die Bedienung auf die eigenen Teller spucken.

Tabouleh ist ein Petersiliensalat, der bei Sesam besonders erfrischend und zitronig schmeckt. Immer wenn ich in Hannover Hbf umsteige, kaufe ich einen großen Becher.

Wir haben vor ein ca,zwei Jahre zum ersten Mal von diesem Dönerladen gehört als wir auf der Rückfahrt vom Zoo waren und uns der Magen knurrte.Dabei kamen wir mit den Busfahrer ins Gespräch der uns diesen Laden empfiehlt. Der Laden ist zentral in einer Seitengasse ein bisschen versteckt gelegen.Beim ersten Mal haben wir dort vor Ort gegessen und waren begeistert.Jetzt als wir diesen Sommer wieder in Hannover für ein Tagesausflug waren mussten wir dort wieder hin.Das geht einfach nicht anders wenn man in Hannover als Tourist ist.Diesmal nahmen wir uns eine Pommdöner-Box mit.Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich gewesen bis jetzt und der Döner auch immer super lecker.Also auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

Ich habe einen Döner mit Lamm bestellt. Mir wurde mehrfach bestätigt, dass man nur Lamm und Hähnchen verkauft. Auf dem Döner war dann aber eindeutig Kalb/Rind. Auf meine Kritik wurde schnell reagiert und der Döner neu gemacht - mit Hähnchen. Der Döner sei gemischt, halb Kalb halb Lamm. Den falschen Döner konnte ich sinnvollerweise auf der Straße verschenken. Man muss also deutlich sagen, was man möchte. Ich würde freundlich begrüßt und verabschiedet. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen.

Das Sesam ist als Schnellrestaurant konzipiert. Es lohnt sich aber Platz zu nehmen. Alle Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und ein Holzkohlegrill. Sehr, sehr lecker und sehr empfehlenswert. Preis - Leistung sehr gut.

Die Sesam-Kette ist ja recht groß und bekannt. Doch in dieser Filiale esse ich keinen Döner mehr. Schon bei der Bestellung kamen immer mehr Bedenken in mir auf, da die Sauberkeit meiner Meinung nach etwas zu wünschen übrig lies. Ich bestellte einen Döner mit Kalbfleisch. Das Fleisch schmeckte total sauer und einfach nicht mehr in Ordnung bzw. frisch. Es hatte auch einen sehr strengen Geruch. Es war mir derartig widerlich, dass ich nur einen Bissen vom Döner nahm. Ich empfehle die Filiale paar Meter weiter im Hauptbahnhof. Dort ist das Essen sehr gut und die Sauberkeit stimmt.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male mit Kollegen Mittags vor Ort. Die Qualität des Essens ist als ok zu bezeichnen. An manchen Tagen halt schlechter und an anderen besser. Was nervt ist die rote Scharfe Soße , nur auf Nachfrage bekommt man die typisch türkische selbstgemachte Paprikapaste. Die Portionen variieren nach der Laune des Personals. An manchen Tag sind die Portionen nicht gerade üppig. Auf Nachfrage wird man in der Regel recht wirsch angefahren und erntet keine netten Blicke . Wenn ich der Betreiber wäre würde ich fast alle hinter der Theke rausschmeißen und vielleicht mal freundliches Personal einstellen.

Wer gerne türkisch ist, sollte hier unbedingt essen gehen. Das Essen wird vor den Augen zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut! Unsere türkischen Freunde haben es uns empfohlen und das spricht schon für eine wirklich ursprüngliche Küche, die nicht -wie so oft- "eingedeutscht" wurde.

Eine sehr gute Fastfoodkette der anderen Art. Auch Döner ist ein bekanntes Fastfoodgericht welches in aller Munde ist. Doch jeder kennt das Problem: Sollte ich was neues ausprobieren oder meinem Dönergeschäft die Treue halten. Bekanntlich frisst der Bauer nichts was er nicht kennt. Hier kann man sorglos sein. Das Fleisch und Zutaten sind frisch und lecker. Des Weiteren erhält man hier nicht nur eine Dönertasche, sondern auch verschiedene Variation des bekannten Fleisches. Außerdem kann man hier einige andere türkische Speisen zu sich nehmen. Grillspieße, Fleischplatten und Salate. Auch der Pizza- und Pastaliebhaber kommt hier nicht zu kurz.

Ein schöner gepflegter Laden. Das Personal ist nett. Das Essen ist wirklich gut und recht preiswert. Man kann schön draußen sitzen. In Hannover gibt es schlechtere Dönerläden.

Super oplevelse. Vi bestilte en Sesam tallerken til 2 og fik ALT! Kebab, køfte, adana, kylling, lam, salat, brød, pomfritter og sikkert en masse mere. Det smagte fantastisk, og der var mad nok til 4 😊 Helt klart et sted vi kommer igen.

Great place if you're looking for a quick bite. Had the gyro sandwich, which was chock full of meat, pickled red cabbage, tazicki and some greens. Pita was delicious. Cheap and very tasty and oh, it's huge! More than enough to satisfy a hungry person.
