As of 15.05 the shower is unavailable because THEY DON'T WANT TO CLEAN UP! Filth, dirt and nothing more. Who in their right mind would stand here?

Everything quickly, efficiently and with a smile on the staff's faces

It couldn't be more disgusting. We paid one euro each for the toilet, which was not usable. Everything is f*cked up and dirty. The parking lot didn't look any better either.

I got a bread here that was so old and hard that you could club a seal to death with it. The place was clean though.

A disaster during the holidays. At least that was my experience. I wanted to use the toilet there briefly at night. I have never seen toilets so dirty. Paper everywhere on the floor. Every toilet was really no longer usable. The employee at the rest stop was very nice and often apologized for the conditions. Unfortunately the cleaning company didn't come due to a lack of staff. Of course, this is a no-go during the holidays when there are a lot of people out and about. One star for the nice employee.

You can always stop here for a short stopover.

4 stars – Good but crowded at peak times The rest stop offers a good gastronomic offering with several options, which is positive. Unfortunately, it is often very full - there are long waiting times, especially at the toilets. Parking and seating are also scarce. Still a solid stopover if you have a little patience.

As with any busy rest area, far too few parking spaces for cars and trucks is a complete problem in Germany.

Sorry, but this is completely unacceptable. The women's and men's restrooms are very dirty. I took photos; in one restroom, the toilet paper is scattered and pee is all over the place. In the other restroom, everything is covered in blood. All the paper towel bins are overflowing. This isn't the first time this mess has happened! No one is taking responsibility for it.

Friendly staff. Otherwise, unfortunately, it's totally dirty from the rubbish that visitors leave behind. Overflowing garbage cans, cigarette butts everywhere, McDonald's packaging, cars and trucks parked all over the place. Otherwise the usual, overpriced Serways stuff, Sanifair and 2 charging points. Enough to brake.

The parking lot was completely full during our visit. Some of the cars were parked on the shoulder or in the employee parking lot. Toilet facilities are relatively small for the number of visitors. 1€ for emergency needs, the voucher can then be redeemed in the shop. The prices for goods there are in the high range

I stopped in the morning to eat. The gentleman prepared me a breakfast of fresh eggs as I asked for without any problem. Very nice service. Unfortunately people do not appreciate someone's work, they see the tip of their own nose. Best regards

Friendly staff and not very dirty. Lots of deductions because it's a serways rest stop and they're all shit Greetings to all truck drivers who have to spend their monthly salary to eat a coffee or a shitty sausage

We just rested there. I can't say anything about the rest house. The parking lot was uninviting, dirty and right next to the rest house's dumpsters. We will continue in the future.

We can only report positively about the rest stop. Clean changing room, friendly and courteous staff, sockets available, good seating with children. Food and drinks are not cheap at any rest stop, but here you get portions that at least fill you up. Gladly again!

Dirty parking lot, no water, super ugly toilets, smelly + mess

Perhaps given the night time, I didn't find much, in fact the only sandwich was cold of course, also expensive... but the staff was kind. What can you take at three in the morning!

There is no free access to water anywhere. The only place where you can get it is a cafe. But there they will ask you 3€ for 5 liters of tap water. There is no way out. You'll sit here the entire break.

McDonald's is a joke. Fries felt 2 weeks old and reheated in old fat. Citizens look like they were made for 2 year olds. Smaller is no longer possible. I don't understand how you can still call something like that a burger. This store ends up on my black list. Toilet for 1 euro incredibly dirty and broken. Automatic toilet seat cleaning system broken and covered with unhygienic adhesive tape. Disgusting.

The parking lot is always very dirty

Unfortunately, due to very heavy traffic, the parking lot is full to capacity and it is difficult to find a space. Even McDonald's or the toilet are difficult to get to. Lots of garbage. I will avoid this place.

Extremely poorly managed McDonalds, 4 employees stand around and chat, the food is served quickly, but the tables also look like crap. Only recommended to take away.

It is a quiet Rastatte with 2 charging stations of 150 kW. There are mainly trucks and little tourist traffic that stops there. Fine for loading. You shouldn't choose Serway if you want a nice lunch. But if you don't mind fries with bratwurst etc, then an efficient and quick stop because it is small and not busy.

Never again! The toilets are underground. Of the four women's toilets, which is far too few for the rest stop, one was completely broken, two others were damaged (glasses cleaning didn't work and components were sticking out) and all were extremely dirty. The payment machine didn't print €1 vouchers, it didn't print anything. And then you pay another €1 for that…

Although it was very crowded on a Friday afternoon, it was just too dingy. Toilets were very dirty, towels were empty and disinfection didn't work either directly on the toilet or as handstands, which I expect given that the toilet costs now €1. The counter at Safredo could have used a wipe down. Dallmayr machine was out of order.

Disastrous rest stop. The toilets were dirty. Herpes is available here for free. After one bite, two pretzels for €3.89 each ended up in the completely overfilled garbage cans because they were so dry and hard that they could have easily driven in a nail. By far the worst rest stop. Something for Peter Giesel and the Warning Rip-off series.

There's a lot on offer, there's a rest area, you can get food and drinks but also snacks and whatever you need on the way through. Unfortunately extremely expensive, bockwurst with a roll and a bag of mustard €6, coffee €5. Toilets are operated by Sanifair and the condition is accordingly. It's a shame, you feel like you're being ripped off🤔

Over the last month, I stopped here three times and the shower didn’t work three times🤬 the shower is like some kind of nano technological mechanism that needs to be repaired for six months (I read a comment five months ago, it wasn’t working then) of the driver and so they live a dog’s life in kennels, isn’t it so difficult make some minimum comfort for the driver!!!! Shame on Germany

Catastrophic conditions!!! Toilets: The toilets were all completely dirty and there was no paper anywhere! In the anteroom near the sinks, the soap dispensers were empty and there were mountains of (paper) garbage on the floor because the trash cans were all full. McDonald's: There were three male employees present who were happy to chat while things were going on in the store. The floor, tables, counter, absolutely everything was super dirty and there was trash everywhere. Here too, all the trash cans were full and no one felt responsible. Food to eat there was handed out in paper bags because they didn't have clean trays.

A rest stop that was extremely crowded when I visited - on Thursday around 12.30 p.m. Nevertheless, the staff was relaxed and polite. The prices are corresponding to a rest stop. A word about the cleanliness of the toilets: In my opinion it is mainly up to the users.

One of the dirtiest rest stops I've seen in a long time. Toilets broken, everything dirty, disgusting. And one of the most expensive rest stops too. Not recommended 6 km further on, better try the next one.

Toilets are broken, showers don't work

I was a guest at Pension Velber for four nights and would like to thank you very much for the really warm and very friendly way in which I was welcomed. Hospitality is really important here. The guesthouse itself also seems well run, very clean and tidy - you immediately feel at home and on holiday. I'm already looking forward to my next North Sea vacation and will definitely visit this great accommodation again.
