I wanted to use the restroom at this rest stop (1 € fee), but the cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. The floor and even the toilet seat were covered in urine – it was impossible to use the restroom hygienically. When I politely complained, the employee responded rudely, saying, "You can't expect it to be as clean as your home." For a pay toilet, this is unacceptable. If you're charging money, you should offer cleanliness and a minimum standard. I definitely cannot recommend this place.

We stopped here because of the children's play area. The children's play area is about 1 square meter in size...

The opinion concerns the shower... Before 16th of October 8, 2025, the shower is supposedly defective and cannot be used... how can I plan a stopover?

Parking is fine, and the cafe, as is typical on a highway, is decent. However, I have reservations about the restrooms: the dispensers are out of detergent, and two urinals are out of order, even though new payment machines were quickly installed. The biggest surprise, however, was the 4-euro shower (even though the price on the door is 3 euros). The shower is dirty, has an unpleasant sewer smell, the chrome surfaces are old and moldy, the water barely runs and is barely warm. The floor is covered in hair and dirt, indicating a lack of daily cleaning. The question is: what are they charging 4 euros for?

A rest stop couldn't be worse. A broken toilet, and then they charge you €1. You're just being ripped off at rest stops.

It's completely closed, and the website says they're open 24/7. The gas station is also a mess. There's no soap in the restrooms, the toilets don't work properly, and there's almost nothing for sale. The shelves are empty, and the food they do have is ridiculously expensive. A small Chupa Chups lollipop costs €1.49, while at other rest areas it's €0.39.

The lady had already cleaned everything. We then bought two drinks and chocolate for €15. The cashier was friendly.

We just bought two cappuccinos for a lot of money (July 27, 2025, 11:49 a.m.). Despite the high price, we were really looking forward to the coffee treat to sweeten our long drive. My husband then went back to your service staff with the still-full cappuccinos to politely ask if anything had gone wrong. He was rudely dismissed with the words: "No, our cappuccino tastes very good and there's nothing you can do for us." No replacement, no refund, nothing. This is truly appalling: zero service, a rip-off, nothing more.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough restrooms for men to do their business here. There are only two.

Bad service; the kitchen staff was completely overwhelmed with two different orders. The Bockwurst was all gone, and it took 10 minutes to heat up more. On top of that, the cash register was closed, so we had to pay for our food at the separate coffee counter. There was a line of customers wanting coffee, and there was only one employee there to prepare it, take the cash, and also sell sweets. By the time it was our turn to get our sausage and roll, which cost €6.99 each, it was cold. The Coke also cost €4.99 each, not taking into account that one was the correct 0.5 liter and the other only 0.3. Unbelievable. We had to search for the key for the wheelchair-accessible restroom, and then the restroom door opened by itself while we were using it, and it wasn't clean either. All in all, a visit to this rest stop is really not recommended.

Motorway service station, were only there for a break and to charge the car, unfortunately one of the charging stations was broken.

There are two restrooms at the gas station, one for men. One was broken and completely filthy. At 11:00 PM, only the restrooms inside the gas station are available. The employee gave me a phone number to complain to. It's outrageous to charge for this. Thank you.

Prices are outrageously high. A small cappuccino costs €5.38. Zero justifies this price calculation. Families with children should avoid this rest area. With 2 adults and 3 children this is really expensive.

Driving further is also an option. Interesting organization when ordering food, cold food is guaranteed for larger numbers of guests. The cleaner was the nicest.

Well located on the Bundesautobahn 1, just before Osnabrück. We ended up here because we had to charge our car (there is a fast charger in the parking lot in front of the business). From the outside it looks like it is closed (closed for good 😉). And inside it looks quite dated. However, it is spacious and you can sit comfortably there. You can go there for a snack, drink or simple meal. We went for an excellent currywurst. Staff was very nice and hospitable. The biggest letdown was the toilets (they didn't smell fresh).

Wanted to use the toilet, the smell showed you the way. Collect 1 euro, but neither the disinfection of the toilet seat works nor the dispenser with hand disinfectant. Everything empty and dry. But the main thing is that you collect money. Outrageous!

Unfortunately the restaurant closed at 7 p.m.! There are only two toilets in the gas station, but we couldn't use them because they were completely filthy! And you have to pay another euro for that, what a shame!!! Showering is also not possible, at least not in the “sanitary facilities” at the gas station. I will avoid this rest stop in the future. Really can't recommend it!

Absolutely filthy toilet area. Urine on the floor and broken sink. The crowning glory of it all: To enter this area you have to go through a turnstile which is only released by inserting a €. Outrageous! Especially since most public sanitary areas are cleaner. Usually not even worth one star. Unfortunately, this option does not exist.

Absolutely cannot recommend this rest stop. In the entrance area we were already hit by the smell from the toilets. Things got really bad when we went into the basement. It was already too much for me as a man, how must the women feel? So that doesn't work at all. If there are no staff available, please close the toilet facility straight away.

1€ for the toilet - you somehow think that you get a minimum level of cleanliness and functionality. But it's better not to rely on his optimistic thoughts. Only two toilets are even halfway usable, the flushers are broken, the soap dispensers are broken and there is a rather off-putting rather than inviting smell in the air. If the money is going to be used to maintain the toilets, I'm curious to see where it actually goes — because you definitely can't see it here. Maybe it's better to leave it free, then at least the expectations are already in the basement.

You should actually feel comfortable at a rest stop, which is unfortunately not the case here. As a driver I was forced to use the showers there. For three euros I would have expected a lot more, then the meal in the restaurant for €25 didn't exactly exceed my expectations either. The problems were pointed out to me at the checkout and they were answered. You have nothing to do with it, it's a matter for the cleaning company.

Was quite disappointed, the trash cans at the gas station were overflowing. There was rubbish all around, probably another rubbish bin full. The outdoor areas seemed quite unkempt. Tall grass, lots of nettles and weeds. Although the interior of the rest stop was tidy, the staff were more concerned with chatting with each other than with the guests.
