Service Area Tecklenburger Land West in Tecklenburg

Well located on the Bundesautobahn 1, just before Osnabrück. We ended up here because we had to charge our car (there is a fast charger in the parking lot in front of the business). From the outside it looks like it is closed (closed for good 😉). And inside it looks quite dated. However, it is spacious and you can sit comfortably there. You can go there for a snack, drink or simple meal. We went for an excellent currywurst. Staff was very nice and hospitable. The biggest letdown was the toilets (they didn't smell fresh).

Wanted to use the toilet, the smell showed you the way. Collect 1 euro, but neither the disinfection of the toilet seat works nor the dispenser with hand disinfectant. Everything empty and dry. But the main thing is that you collect money. Outrageous!

1/04/25. 6:20 p.m. closed. I wanted to use the shower. Theoretically a Western developed country??!! There is no shower at the station.

Unfortunately the restaurant closed at 7 p.m.! There are only two toilets in the gas station, but we couldn't use them because they were completely filthy! And you have to pay another euro for that, what a shame!!! Showering is also not possible, at least not in the “sanitary facilities” at the gas station. I will avoid this rest stop in the future. Really can't recommend it!

Very large motorway rest area. It is accessible from both sides of the highway. Large selection of food and drinks. Nordseeresturant and Burger King are also available. Slightly high prices. Very friendly staff.

Absolutely filthy toilet area. Urine on the floor and broken sink. The crowning glory of it all: To enter this area you have to go through a turnstile which is only released by inserting a €. Outrageous! Especially since most public sanitary areas are cleaner. Usually not even worth one star. Unfortunately, this option does not exist.

Probably the most expensive rest stop I have ever visited, whether in Germany, Switzerland or anywhere else, I have never experienced such prices. I can understand that prices are increased along the highway, but I've never experienced anything like that. A simple bratwurst for 10 euros. Absolutely cannot recommend this rest stop. In the entrance area we were already hit by the smell from the toilets. Things got really bad when we went into the basement. It was already too much for me as a man, how must the women feel? So that doesn't work at all. If there are no staff available, please close the toilet facility straight away.

1€ for the toilet - you somehow think that you get a minimum level of cleanliness and functionality. But it's better not to rely on his optimistic thoughts. You should actually feel comfortable at a rest stop, which is unfortunately not the case here. As a driver I was forced to use the showers there. For three euros I would have expected a lot more, then the meal in the restaurant for €25 didn't exactly exceed my expectations either. Was quite disappointed, the trash cans at the gas station were overflowing. There was rubbish all around, probably another rubbish bin full. The outdoor areas seemed quite unkempt. My son takes his thermo mug to buy a coffee at the gas station. The employee told him he wasn't allowed to put the coffee in there. So he got a to-go cup with a lid and then poured it into his thermos cup himself. Then of course it's clear why coffee at the gas stations is so expensive!! If the cup has to be paid for every time even though it is not used!!!! Dear operators……..think about it. I know places where coffee costs up to 50 cents less if I have my own cup filled

Good rest stop for a relaxing break, with everything you need

The most disgusting and, at €6.99, most expensive bockwurst I have ever eaten. Totally limp, as if she had been hanging in this brewing thing for days. The bun was also beyond crunchy and the mustard was also lumpy. Freshness seems to be a foreign word here. I stopped here to charge my car, but this “rest stop” was blocked in my charging planner.

Last Friday at 8:00 a.m., made a quick stop at the back parking lot and thought a coffee would be something nice, so I went into the restaurant, very clean but only two people were present (I knew why :-) ) went to the service counter, looked at the prices and there it was I also served... small coffee 4.69€ medium coffee 5.49€ and a wrapped sealed baguette for over 8€, use of the toilet 1€... those are sick prices I then turned around and drove on...

We ordered some food and got a worked with some attitude yelling at us in german and then just giving a cold interaction when we paid. Food is expensive and they try to hide the fact that you still need to add taxes to the price. They wont do anything more then the bare minimum, so if you need cutlery or your batwurst bread cut open you have to ask yourself🥳 Dont come here

I was thirsty and got off the highway here. So, a 0.3 l can of No Name energy drink for 3.99 euros, a 0.5 l can of RB for 6.99 euros and then the big hit: a 1.5 l bottle of water for 4, 29 euros....... immediately went out again; You're used to a lot of price gouging by now, but at some point it's enough. We stopped at the rest stop. It looks very old and uninviting. The employees argued loudly upstairs and later stood together outside smoking. Half of the women's toilets were closed, soap dispensers were broken, monitors weren't working.

Typical motorway rest stop. Stopped for ice cream and coffee. Both at pharmacist prices. However, the service was quick. Changing room on the ground floor (directly left of the entrance) separate from the Sanifair area in the basement. Separate playground available (fenced, various play equipment and also a sandpit). Time has stopped here. Sometime in the early 90s. The toilets are forbidden! Everything is broken: soap dispenser, gripper...
