Delicious food. Friendly, cheerful service. For a restaurant near a tennis hall, the atmosphere and decor are excellent. Top!

Unfortunately, reservations are always recommended. But it's worth it. Top location.

To start jokingly: You can eat and stay in for a while. 😬 Online reservation was flawless. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. Our order was taken professionally and very quickly, including our drinks. They even replaced the tea light immediately when it went out. For a starter, we had aioli with small rolls. We ordered two main courses, both very delicious. I especially loved the pepper sauce. Excellent value for money! Our stay lasted just over an hour. During that time, we felt very well taken care of. A great team, thank you! Did Mr. Barkmann actually pay the last tab out of 97? 😁

Yesterday, my colleagues and I had dinner there, and we were all thrilled. The building itself is beautiful, the decor classically chic and uncluttered. There were 13 of us, and everything was perfect. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, our drink orders were taken and served promptly, and the antipasti, presented on tiered trays, were absolutely delicious – a real treat for my taste buds! The drinks were refilled discreetly and efficiently. Thirteen different main courses arrived at the table almost simultaneously, which alone deserves an "outstanding" rating. My meal was simply "wow" – the presentation and the taste were superb. I didn't have room for dessert, otherwise, like my colleagues beside me, I would have tried the small chocolate molten chocolate cake with ice cream. Instead, I had an espresso, which was a bit too mild/bland for my discerning coffee palate, but deducting even one star for that would be an outrage. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening! Very good restaurant with nice outdoor seating! Although the place was very busy, we managed to get a table outside on a beautiful evening. The service was very helpful, friendly, fast, and perfectly organized. I found the menu a bit confusing. I wondered if the selection of Mexican dishes, pasta, burgers, traditional fare, and pizza might be too much for the kitchen. I was proven wrong. The food was really good and delicious! I haven't had such good pork medallions in a long time. The oven gratin was also outstanding. My friends also loved their Tex-Mex fiesta with enchiladas ("the good, the bad, the bad"). We had a lovely evening with very good food in a welcoming atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Went out for dinner before the musical in Tecklenburg. We've been there seven times so far, and the quality of the food and the friendly staff have never changed. Everything was very good 👍. Very nice beer garden. The menus with the unusual names are top-top-top. We keep coming back.

We're spending a week here on vacation, and the owner of our house recommended this restaurant to us. Fabulous. It's really nice inside, and the food is good. There's a wide selection, too. We didn't get in until 7:30 p.m., and the staff came fairly quickly to take our order. We also got our drinks and food fairly quickly. But when we got them, we had the feeling they were busy cleaning up before even attending to the guests. We were wondering if they wouldn't close at 9 p.m. No, not until 10 p.m. A very good restaurant, but they could do a better job of catering to late-night owls.

The food is good, the prices are very high, the service average. Unfortunately, that evening we witnessed two guests being very rudely kicked out because they hadn't reserved a table. We were still sitting at our seats over an hour later. There were many empty tables around us, and their seats hadn't been rebooked. Why then did they kick them out? And so rudely, too? And so loudly that everyone around them could hear it? That leaves a strange aftertaste.

We enjoyed a delicious meal in pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant, great ambiance, very good food. The dishes on the menu are inspired by classic films, quotes, characters, or actors. The selection is extensive and sophisticated. Although it was quite busy, the service was prompt and the wait time was moderate. Reservations are definitely recommended, as the restaurant is well-attended, partly due to its proximity to the Tecklenburg Open Air Theater.

Went there for the first time today because we were seeing a musical nearby. We regret eating there because we live over 100km away and the food was so delicious! Now we have to find a reason to eat there again...on to the next musical, and before that, to Fabula! The staff and management were also great! PS: Reservations seem to be important; it was packed even during the week! Good thing we checked beforehand... I was in rehab in 2018 and just returned. It's changed a lot. More space, great service, the food was delicious, and the waitresses were very attentive and friendly. And a huge thank you to the waitress, the organization, or the manager?! Yes, I recognized you... wow... keep it up, everyone... great atmosphere.

Nine of us spent a convivial Friday evening at the Fabula restaurant. The weather was nice and we sat in the lovely outdoor area. The restaurant was busy. My Gorgonzola pizza was delicious and lived up to its name. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about the portion size, but it was definitely enough. The only thing I could have done was have been a bit more attentive.

My first impression after seeing "Fabula" was somewhat sober. The number of parking spaces was very limited. But you're not here to park, you're here to eat. The ambiance was very cozy; I particularly liked the outdoor area. Despite the hot weather, the climate was very pleasant thanks to the mature trees and parasols. The food was plentiful and truly delicious. I had spare ribs and was impressed by the quality and quantity. A little tip: With such delicious, finger-licking food, a few extra servings would have been appropriate. The positive impression was rounded off by the very friendly and attentive service staff, who made you feel truly welcome. I'm pretty sure this won't be my last visit.

Worst restaurant visit my friends and I have ever had. The menus were initially simply thrown on the table with the sentence "here are the menus", after which the waiter just moved on. When we had ordered and the food finally arrived, we didn't even have cutlery for the salad and burger. When we asked, we had to get it ourselves and it came to the table in an Ikea glass (all the other tables had tin cutlery jugs with the Paulaner logo on them). At first I thought they had run out of cutlery jugs, but waiters came out several times and brought them to other tables. My burger (cheeseburger) was completely raw, bloody and cold on the inside even though I had ordered it medium. My friend had the pulled pork burger which was bone dry, especially the meat itself, and even after asking several times we were simply ignored. The fries tasted soggy from the first bite, as if they had been fried five times and the mayonnaise was really stale. None of us could finish the burgers, the salad or the fries because they were all simply inedible. We didn't even get an ashtray when we asked, even though the staff here were constantly walking around with clean ashtrays. When we mentioned while paying that we didn't like the food, the original waitress left and another one came to pay. She offered to make us new burgers next time if something wasn't right, but for us it was definitely the first and last time there. For prices like that I expect at least friendly waiters and understanding when something is wrong - then and there and not just the next time. It seemed to us as if the restaurant doesn't like motorcyclists because we came on motorbikes. Never again and not recommended, you wouldn't wish stomach aches after this meal on anyone!

Since I was in rehab in Tecklenburg, I was recommended Fabula, and what can I say! The food is really very good and the prices are completely reasonable. The staff is very good and friendly, but unfortunately, the manager often yelled at the service staff in front of us customers, which is really unacceptable. Having worked in the restaurant industry for years, I found it very unprofessional and simply not appropriate! Otherwise, everything was tip-top 👍

We ate at the Fabula restaurant for the first time last night. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was great and the service was friendly and excellent. Keep it up.

Why does everyone rate this place 4 or more stars? We went there for takeaway on Ascension Day. What we found when we got home was a complete disaster. We ordered three different burgers. They were delivered, but it was impossible to tell what each one was. The meat on the burgers was overcooked, hard and crispy! The sauce could have been used more sparingly; the burger buns were soaked with it and therefore soggy. The rest of the burgers were more like organic waste. The fries consisted of a whopping 15 strips in one dish, and the other two had a bit more. The cook was obviously in love with the food and therefore mercilessly exaggerated the amount of salt, making everything completely too salty. The fries also had a strange consistency and a strange bite. The side salad had no flavor at all. All in all, we expected more for the price. We won't order from there again; every snack bar in the area is better. Not recommended!

Lovely restaurant at the entrance to Tecklenburg. Unfortunately, there are limited parking spaces, but you can park across the street for a fee. You can sit inside and, weather permitting, outside. The food is plentiful and of good quality.

I had dinner here yesterday after a long hike and I have to say that the service staff was very friendly and accommodating. The starters looked great and were just as delicious. Nachos and antipasti. For the main course we had a delicious burger and a pan of pulled pork. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted very tasty. We'd love to come back.

A cozy place that invites you to spend relaxing summer evenings with the open terrace and beer garden. The menu is varied, with burgers, pizza and pasta as well as desserts, there is also something for vegetarians! The service is precise and friendly and leaves nothing to be desired!

Very nice location. Regardless of whether you go here to eat or just to drink, this place is definitely worth a visit. In any case, you should make a reservation in advance, especially on the weekend. Service staff is very friendly, attentive and always has a quick saying on their lips. Same with the owner. The menu is very nicely designed and you actually have to order everything once. Also have take away food. Little parking space in front of the house. There is a large paid parking lot about 50 meters away. Attended by a mixed audience. Locals and tourists. There is also a party keg (see photo), a log cabin, a beer garden, plenty of seating inside, a bar, party service, etc It's worth a visit and the food anyway.

I can recommend these restaurants, the staff is very friendly and always asks if everything is OK, and if at all possible you always get a seat if you come unannounced!

We've experienced better than that. It was particularly unfortunate that, despite being mentioned when making the reservation, our son's 18th birthday was not mentioned at all. Otherwise, as always, the food came very quickly. However, it wasn't served quite correctly, but this was changed after we asked. The meal was also difficult for several of our guests to stomach. Somehow it seemed a bit “loveless” this time… As I said. We've had much better experiences...

We celebrated yesterday on the top floor of the Fabula. It was our first visit there and everything was pretty well decorated. Music was playing softly in the background. The food and drinks came quickly and we enjoyed it very much. In the evening, when the restaurant was full, we hardly saw the waitress. :) The prices for the steaks are around €30-33 per portion. Otherwise we liked everything.

Nomnomnom, at any time, whether outside in summer or inside in winter, it tastes good and you can have a good conversation, the waiters are very attentive without being intrusive. I eat there every 1 to 2 months because they have my absolute favorite food on the menu.

Food was good on recent visits. Particularly noteworthy is the Franconian country beer!! The prices are totally okay. Service and ambience is great. I think the card is a bit too big... but no children's card..

Very nice and competent staff! I had a burger (I was also asked if it should be medium), which tasted great with the house sauce. The other six girls at our Christmas party were also super happy. It was great that we had a table on the 1st floor; there are larger tables in separate rooms. This meant it wasn't so loud and you could have a good conversation. A simply successful evening!

Staff friendly. We took part in the Christmas trees with 6 people on Christmas Day. Very good selection for vegetarians too.

Service was very accommodating, we didn't have to wait long for our food. There aren't any starters here - in my opinion they're way too expensive for what you get - and they weren't that tasty either. The main meal was tasty, although less arugula in the salad (which was included in some dishes) would have been nice. The selection of vegetarian dishes is very good.

The additional menu with names of politicians may be funny, but it defeats the purpose for me. Because I find it inappropriate given the tense political situation to order a Trump Burger, Lindner or Scholz plate. Ultimately I didn't think the price-performance ratio was appropriate.
