Beautiful, spacious room with a fantastic view. Delicious food in the restaurant with excellent service. A good breakfast, especially on Sundays. Then it's a truly grand breakfast. And just a 10-minute walk from the old town.

Bismarkhöhe is a good alternative to Café Rabbel.

We come here every year during the musical season and are always very satisfied. The Tecklenburg stage is just a few minutes' walk away. It's also a great place to grab a delicious meal before the musical.

Beautiful hotel in a prime location for hiking and the festival. The view from the restaurant and the terrace is truly wonderful. Our room was in the guesthouse and was large, clean, and functionally equipped. The staff were all very friendly. A highlight was the breakfast, even brunch on Sundays. We'll be back! A truly wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the beds super comfortable – just what you need for a restful night. We were particularly impressed by the varied breakfast buffet – it truly left nothing to be desired! The price is absolutely reasonable for what you get. And the view? Simply unique! I went there for Sunday breakfast for the second time, and it was wonderful again. A great selection, very tasty, and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. And, of course, the highlight is the view over the Münsterland region. I will definitely go there for breakfast more often, or even for coffee and cake.

A lovely weekend! We booked two double rooms in advance. The contact was very friendly. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding (especially on Sunday)!!! Overall, great value for money; we'd love to come back next year!

The hotel is conveniently located for hikers, right on the Hermannsweg trail. It's also a quick walk to the city center. As hikers on the Hermannsweg, we felt very comfortable.

The room is very simple and small, but very nice and clean, the view was just good. We were on the first floor. Bathroom modern, only the shower head is a bit older and it takes a minute for the water to get hot. Otherwise highly recommended if you only want to stay there for one or two nights.

The Bismarkhöhe is recommended, the breakfast buffet is fantastic and the view from the window of the Münsterland is incomparable.

Fantastic spacious hotel room with a wonderful view. The hotel was fine, the breakfast was extensive, especially on Sunday. Dinner was also fine and tasty. The bed slept fine. Personally, I can never really get used to the noise from other rooms, but yes, as a light sleeper you have that. Tecklenburg is also recommended and you can enjoy walking there.

Door to balcony broken. Curtains not present or too small. The window in the shower is plain glass, so everyone can look into the bathroom and toilet while you use these areas. Wifi does not work and is unsecured. Lots of light in the room at night from traffic on the adjacent road and hotel due to lack of curtains. Complaints are not responded to.

Everything is great! Our expectations were exceeded: After taking another look at the reviews here during our hike, we didn't think anything good when we received the keys to the room in the building next door. But we found nothing to complain about. Our room was simply furnished, but we weren't expecting a design or high-tech hotel. It was clean, bright, quiet, big. The breakfast buffet was really diverse, fresh and delicious. Everyone on the team was always professional, helpful and nice. Unfortunately, we can't judge the dinner in the restaurant because we spontaneously stopped by in the town center. Based on this experience, we would definitely give the hotel restaurant a chance on our next visit...

Actually nice rooms, mine was in the next building (room no. 3), but, but, but. URGENTLY in need of renovation! Water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper several times in the room, poorly filled areas on the ceiling, and there are also traces of smear from cleaning on the tiles. Who is the housekeeper and controls things here? There isn't, otherwise she should be fired. The two magnificent cankers, also known as harvestmen, were less disturbing for me. The breakfast is inexpensive and plentiful, probably good for the majority of guests. Only baked rolls and dry bread are a reason for devaluation for me, there is another way (or again). However, the location on Hermannsweg is ideal, especially for hikers.

We stayed here at the hotel for one night yesterday. Our room was incredibly beautiful, clean, with a kitchen, terrace, some even covered. We had a VIP room in the annex building. The price is very reasonable. Friendly and attentive staff, we forgot to book breakfast. 6 euros per person is a good price. We were able to have dinner before the evening event in the open-air stage at 5:30 p.m. We really enjoyed the food and arrived at the open-air stage on time without any time pressure. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

The room we had in the building next door is in urgent need of renovation. One pillow had a big stain. Staff polite. Dinner very tasty. Breakfast very good, for only €6.00 ​​per person. Location, located on top of a hill. Great view when the weather is right. 10 minutes to the open-air stage. Town center 1.1 km.

Nicely located hotel, unfortunately our room in the annex was poorly cleaned, dirt on the floor, ashtrays on the table. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls.

Used to attend musical events, the location is ideal for that.

We were only there for breakfast, but we were thrilled. Price - performance is right. My conclusion...the route is worth it and I can recommend it with a clear conscience! Keep it up !!!!

Very spacious Nete rooms, bring your own pillow, the pillows in the hotel look like they are the size of bean bags, breakfast was excellent, in the restaurant you can enjoy delicious food for a reasonable price.

Das viel gelobte Frühstück ist in der Tat sehr lecker und ausreichend, der Service freundlich. Die Zimmer im Gästehaus nicht zu empfehlen. Klein, sehr hellhörig, keine ausreichende Verdunklungsmöglichkeit, wenn zur Straße gelegen, dann sehr unruhig, unser Badezimmer war modernisiert, allerdings trotzdem schon im Duschbereich in den Silikonfugen Schimmel. Kein Aufzug, da älteres Gebäude. Hunde dürfen mitgebracht werden, werden mit 15 Euro pro Tag berechnet, dafür gibt es allerdings nicht mal ein kleines Leckerchen, das haben wir auch schon besser erlebt.

Met 28 leden van de fietsclub Tuiltertrappers een fantastisch weekend gehad. Uitmuntend ontbijt en diner, vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Een aanrader om te verblijven. Ook de mooie Tecklenburg rundfahrt gefietst.

We waren op aanraden van vrienden. Onze ervaring was anders. We kregen een kleinere kamer in het pension. Dus niet in het hotel zelf. Wel mooi uitzicht. Als je naar een hotel gaat verwacht en hoop je vooral dat je op een goed bed slaapt. In dit hotel bleek dat behoorlijk tegen te vallen. Ze waren hard en kraakten ook nog bij het draaien (kamer 23).De dekbedden waren vrij dun. Gelukkig lag er nog een 1 extra en vernieuwde versie van in de kast. De kamer zag er verder netjes en schoon uit en bood een mooi uitzicht. Het sanitair was alleen erg laag, zowel het toilet als de wastafel. Wij zijn beiden maar 1.60 en toch vonden wij alles behoorlijk laag, bijna kinderformaat. Hoe zullen de lange mensen van tegenwoordig dit dan wel niet ervaren? De dranger van de kamerdeur staat strak afgesteld en laat de kamerdeur lastig opengaan en met een klap dichtvallen. De toiletdeur zwiept ook open waardoor hij met een klap tegen de deurpost aan valt. Het avondeten was meer dan uitstekend. Heerlijk vers en gevarieerd. Complimenten voor de ober die er helemaal alleen voor stond om te bedienen. Het ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk uitgebreid en wederom met veel verse produkten. Wij zouden een waterkoker wel erg gewaardeerd hebben op de kamer. Wij vonden het jammer dat wij het wandelarrangement gemist hadden omdat wij 3 nachten verbleven. Dit stond nergens vermeld op de website. Zou netjes geweest zijn om hier melding van te maken als je reserveert. Het viel ons op dat de bedden niet werden opgemaakt en de kamer niet (zichtbaar) werd schoongemaakt. Wel kregen we iedere dag schone handdoeken terwijl we ze niet op de grond gelegd hadden. Informatie over de omgeving of wandelingen zijn niet aanwezig in het hotel. We werden verwezen naar de VVV. Voor ons klopte de prijs prestatie verhouding niet van het hotel.

Prachtige locatie. Wij zaten aan de achterzijde, dus geen geluid van de doorgaande weg. Gratis parkeren voor de ingang. Ontbijt was heerlijk, uitgebreid en vers. Zondagontbijt overtrof echt iedere verwachting, en dat voor een klein prijsje. Personeel erg vriendelijk, spreekt goed Engels. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving. Hexenpad, Tecklenburg zelf, Dorenther klippen, en nog veel meer.

Leider keine Möglichkeit die Fenster im Zimmer abzudunkeln, das Bett knarrt bei jeder Bewegung, die Zimmertür schließt nicht vernünftig. Insgesamt sehr hellhörig. Beim Frühstück stimmte das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Entgegenkommen des Personals wegen der Mängel am Zimmer, 👍🏻

Wir haben im Rahmen einer Wandertour auf dem Hermannsweg eine Nacht hier verbracht und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein wunderbares, sehr großes und schönes Appartement , ein solides Frühstück und ein freundliche Gastgeber, mehr geht nicht…

Ein schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel 😉mit einem klasse Frühstück. Zimmer neu renoviert. Alles top, sind zum 2.Mal hier. Beim nächsten Abstecher würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.

Vlakbij Tecklenburg met de camper. Wel weg er langs maar eigenlijk niet zoveel last van. Start van mooie wandeltochten bijv Hexenpfad. Dorenther kliffen zijn dichtbij. 4 euro voor een hele dag

Für den Besuch der Freilichtbühne perfekte Lage, aber auch nicht ganz billig. Zimmer hatte Silberfische und Staubfäden an der Decke. Kann passieren, dürfte aber bei dem Preis nicht sein. Normales Frühstück, Brunchbuffet am Sonntag allerdings sehr gut.

Ideales Hotel für ein zwei Übernachtungen. Schön Zentral zu Tecklenburg. Hatten ein Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick. Waren nun zum zweiten male dort.

Als einfache Herberge durchaus zu empfehlen. Der Aufenthalt war anlässlich des Besuchs der Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg. Welche fußläufig etwa 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Freundliches aber an diesem Wochenende deutlich überfordertes Personal anwesend. Im Restaurant dann die erste Enttäuschung, die vorab bestätigte Reservierung war nicht mehr vorhanden. Nur 4 Hauptgerichte auf der Speisekarte sowie zwei vegetarische Gerichte. Von den angekündigten Tagesgerichten keine Spur. Die Rechnung fürs Abendessen hatte dann noch 3 Getränke vom Nebentisch, die anschließende Korrektur war umständlich und alles andere als Kundenfreundlich. Die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung des vermeintlichen VIP-Zimmers ist bestenfalls Durchschnitt. Das angekündigte amerikanisches Frühstück ist den Namen nicht wert. Das Frühstücksbuffett sonst aber durchaus einladend und reichhaltig. Nur weit ab von "amerikanisch" oder "international" Verwunderlich wenn auch angenehm war die einfache Übergabe des Schlüssels. Ganz ohne Meldeschein oder weiterer Identifizierung der Gäste über die Nachfrage nach dem Namen. Die wiedergegeben Erfahrung erschließen sich auf eine Übernachtung.

Erneuter Besuch für 2 Nächte: Nach wie Vor, mittlerweile hoher Renovierungsstau. Hier wäre es angebracht einige Handwerker zu beauftragen, um den Zustand in den Griff zu kriegen.( defekte bzw. fehlendes Türschloss, fehlende E-dosenabdeckungen, Fenster müssten gang- und schliessbar gemacht werden...) unser Fenster/ Tür ließ sich nicht öffnen und dad bei sehr hohen Temperaturen, mehrfaches Nachfragen brachte keinen Erfolg. Nur der Hinweis das sich darum gekümmert wird. Bis zur Abreise erfolgte keine Reaktion. Daher nur noch aufgrund der Lage 2 Sterne Hotel liegt sehr schön. Aussicht hinten ins Tecklenburger Land. Freilichtbühne fussläufig gut zu erreichen. Preise für die Zimmer (2) angemessen. Die Zimmer hatten renovierungsstau. Leider war diesmal die Sauberkeit der Bäder nicht optimal. Frühstück am Sonntag perfekt. Reichlich Auswahl.

Ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um die Freilichtbühne in Tecklenburg fußläufig zu erreichen. Wirklich erwähnenswert ist das Frühstücksbuffet am Sonntag, ds wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt. Außerdem sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es für die Badezimmer. Da hat man nicht den Eindruck, dass sie vom Sanitärfachbetrieb erstellt wurden. Es wirkt eher so, als wäre ein ambitionierter Heimwerker am Werk gewesen... Es ist jedoch alles sauber.

Interessanter Turm Wir konnten den Turm nur von außen anschauen. Weitblick über das Tecklenburger Land ist nur bedingt möglich, Bäume 🌳 und Büsche müssten geschnitten werden 🤷‍♀️ Daher nur ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wir waren sonntags zum Frühstück Buffet. Es gibt eine sehr diverse Auswahl. Ein besonderes Highlight für groß und klein ist das große Waffeleisen am Buffet. Vielen Dank für dieses leckere Erlebnis. Wir kommen bald wieder!

In den Zimmern war ich nicht, hatte aber immer gern auf einen Kaffee und ein Stück Kuchen um die Aussicht wirken zu lassen!

Wir hatten keine großen Erwartungen für eine Nacht. Zimmer im EG des Gästehauses zur Straße. Zimmer wirkte kühl, Matratzen waren gut und das Bad war modern. Auch war alles sauber. Gutes, vielseitiges Frühstück. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnus👍
