Alles war super, wir waren schon ein paar Mal dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Qualität des Essens ist offensichtlich, die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und Preis und Auswahl sind ausgezeichnet.

Endlich ein authentisch chinesische Restaurants. Sehr positive überrascht. Wer es mag einfach nur lecker. Ein muss der original chinesische essen mag. Kein 0815 Standard essen..

Ein sehr traditionelles chinesisches Restaurant mit sehr guten, authentischen chinesischen Gerichten. Die Preise sind angemessen und der Service ist gut.

Waren heute Mittag zum Sushi essen im Seng . Qualitativ hervorragend. Preis Leistung passt auch und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Ich liebe es hier hinzugehen besonders weil es meiner Meinung nach kein besseres Chinesisches Essen in Karlsruhe gibt als hier. Super lieber Familienbetrieb und absoluter Geheimtipp :)

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Toll angerichtet und edel. Das Essen gibt es zu sehr fairen Preisen und der Besitzer ist höflich, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich habe sogar einen kleinen Nachtisch als Geschenk erhalten. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme bestimmt bald wieder. Vielen Dank

Normal. Nicht das beste Restaurant, auf jeden Fall nicht das schlechtrste. Man kann auf jeden Fall hier gute Zeit haben.

Das Essen war ok. Bei den gebratenen Nudeln, fanden wir schade, dass es Spaghetti waren, statt China Nudel waren. Was wir negativ fanden, war, dass Kinder uns bedienten. Mag in der Kultur normal sein, jedoch hatte das junge Mädchen eine sehr traurige Miene. Sie hat so leise gesprochen, dass wir nichts verstanden haben. Kein Lächeln im Gesicht, keine Freude. Das hat uns sehr traurig gestimmt. Ein Familienunternehmen ohne Angestellte, kann man machen, sollten aber alle glücklich mit sein.

Richtig toll, habe angerufen und man konnte mir direkt meine Fragen bzgl vegan beantworten. Preis Leistung ist auch toll, geschmacklich auch sehr gut 😊

Ein familiengeführtes Café mit angenehmer Atmosphäre! Man merkt, dass die Angestellten fleißig sind! Am Samstag war es sehr leer.

Ich gehe hier gerne hin um sushi zu essen. Das Ambiente und der Service sind top und das Suhsi nicht überteuert wie bei anderen Restaurants. Was mir auch sehr wichtig ist ist die Größe der Shushi Rollen, diese ist hier perfekt, vor allem das crunchy sushi ist nicht, wie ich es schon bei anderen Restaurants erlebt habe, überdimensioniert groß, sodass man ein Stück nichtmal ganz in den Mund bekommt. Angerichtet wird das sushi sehr ästhetisch mit deko, jedes individuell arrangiert. Jedes mal wieder ist es ein tolles Erlebnis hier zu sein:)

In Sachen Sushi die beste Adresse in 30 Km Umkreis: Frischer als alle Franchise-Ketten ("Eat happy" & Co); besser als alle filialisierten Mitbewerber ("Koza" etc.). Auch, wenn der 50%-afterhour-drop nach 20:00 Uhr im Maxi-Center echt "value for money" ist: Wenn es GUT sein soll, holen wir's - mit 60 Km hin und zurück - im Seng.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und eine große Auswahl an Sushi. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die aufmerksame Bedienung und das überaus freundliche Personal, das einem vom ersten Moment an ein gutes Gefühl gibt. Auch die glutenfreien Sushi-Optionen und die glutenfreie Sojasauce waren ein Pluspunkt – ein Zeichen für Liebe zum Detail und Respekt vor besonderen Ernährungsbedürfnissen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Es ist ein familiengeführtes Restaurant mit wunderschöner Einrichtung und tollem Ambiente. Wir waren am Valentinstag dort zum Abendessen und es war brechend voll. Da wir reserviert hatten, bekamen wir trotz der fast vollen Küche innerhalb von fünf Minuten einen Platz. Nachdem wir Platz genommen hatten, erhielten wir die Speisekarte und mussten unsere Bestellung auf einen kleinen Zettel schreiben und abgeben. Da es am Valentinstag sehr voll war, mussten wir fast eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Wir bestellten eine XL-Sushi-Platte, knusprige Futo-Maki-Lachsrolle, gebratenen Reis mit Hühnchen und eine Ebi-Tempura-Spezialrolle. Alle Gerichte waren wunderschön angerichtet. Das Sushi schmeckte köstlich. Auch der gebratene Reis war gut. Unser Favorit war jedoch die knusprige Futo-Maki-Lachsrolle. Sie war phänomenal. Die Rechnung belief sich auf etwa 60 Euro. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Nach mehr als 7 Jahren wieder hier, kennen das Lokal schon seit über 20 Jahren. Früher gab es „All you can eat“ noch an der Bar, später wurde die Bar als Band erweitert, derzeit sind es nur Tische. Essen schmeckt wunderbar. Die Menükarte sollte man erneuern, damit diese hochwertiger wirkt. Es gibt viele Landsleute, was auch normal für die Qualität des Restaurants spricht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Super lokal, auch wenn die Sushi-Auswahl an der Bar nicht die größte ist, wie sie mal war. Alles frisch, nettes Personal und angenehme Atmosphäre. Es wurde auch vor kurzem umgebaut, es gibt mehr Plätze an der Sushi-Bar. Die Preise sind eher günstig im Gegensatz zu der Konkurrenz in Karlsruhe. Parkplätze gibt es bei der Hochschule oder im Umfeld, je nachdem gegen Bezahlung an den Parkticketautomaten. Parkmöglichkeiten per Ticket im Umfeld sind derzeit bei 4€ für max. 1 Stunde.

Unlike other "Chinese restaurants" that all offer the same dishes, this one has so much more to offer! Much closer to authentic Chinese cuisine. Today, the two of us ordered boiled beef and salt and pepper pig's trotters, and both were delicious! The salt and pepper pig's trotters were so incredibly fragrant, fried to a perfect crisp, with an amazing texture. The salt and pepper flavor was also just right, and it wasn't greasy at all! The boiled beef was also very generous with its ingredients; the aroma alone was enough to bring tears to the eyes of any Sichuan native. There were lots of chilies, but it wasn't spicy—just incredibly fragrant! There was also a lot of beef, mostly Shanghai bok choy and plenty of beef, without any bean sprouts or anything like that. The meal cost 35 yuan for two people, and we'll definitely come back! 👍

We come here often for both lunch and dinner; the cuisine is authentic Chinese, with many dishes you don't find on the usual menus of Chinese restaurants. The food is great, the quality is good, and the service is very friendly. The interior has a classic Chinese ambiance.

Very authentic. The food was heavenly especially the beef udon. The jasmine tea was beautifully aromatic. I also found it practical that I could write down the respective numbers from the menu on a piece of paper when ordering. Very happy again.

Today when we were finishing our meal and paying the bill, I stood next to the pink cherry blossom arch; A pot of fake tree (the circle in the middle of the picture) suddenly fell from the counter more than one meter high and hit my foot directly, making me scream in pain. My go to place for sushi in Karlsruhe. I like their price / quality ratio. Also, their variety of sushi boxes, so I always found something to choose from. When you dine-in the sushi also has a nice presentation. The service can be a bit chaotic sometimes, but they are usually all nice. I tried some other dishes as well like Bibimbap or Bento boxes and while the portions were generous, the flavors always had some twists from original recipes, which I didn't like that much. The reason why I'm a regular here is that they also take out options and it's always prepared fast + usually includes some small gifts (fortune cookies, crab chips). If i dine-in the atmosphere is cozy.

Food is very cheap and tasty, service is sometimes a bit confusing and the opening times aren't always right, but we like to go there :)

I've been ordering food here regularly/irregularly (mostly dinner) for about 2 years and have always been satisfied. The quality of the food is really good for the price, tastes good and always arrives warm (when delivered). However, the delivery time can sometimes exceed 60 minutes, depending on how busy it is. In the last 2 years, the dishes have been of variable but always good(!) quality (perhaps changing chef?), and the ingredients in the dishes always vary a bit (Thai curry sometimes with bamboo, sometimes without), probably depending on what was currently available in purchasing etc. I can fully recommend the restaurant. For me the best Asian delivery service in town.

We were there again yesterday after years. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time before anyone from the staff came. Drinks came quite quickly. My food was forgotten only my friend's food came. I waited and waited for my food which just didn't come. We were also not asked if we would like anything else to drink. After a long time we went to the staff ourselves because we wanted to pay, but then they just said we had to pay at the front. The communication left a lot to be desired; if we hadn't taken the innovative approach ourselves, we would still be waiting until today. Wir lieben es hier. Authentische asiatische (chinesische, koreanische und vietnamesische) Küche. Meistens bestellen wir etwas von der weißen Karte, weil das Seng Sushi Restaurant geschmacklich einfach Abwechslung im Vergleich zu den anderen asiatischen Restaurants bietet. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und erklären auch die Esskultur. Der Service könnte etwas schneller auf die Gäste reagieren, ist dennoch stets freundlich. Leider scheint es ein Problem mit dem Abzug zu geben, da der Boden etwas rutschig (fettig) scheint und die Klamotten nach dem Besuch nach Essen riechen. Dennoch bekommt das Lokal von mir für den Geschmack, die Authentizität und die Freundlichkeit volle Punkte.

Unfortunately, our last visit to Seng was not pleasant. We noticed the following: 1. Food: Several starters, sushi and a main course were ordered. The starters were delicious and usual like any other Asian restaurant. It should be emphasized that these were not bought in the store but prepared by hand. The sushi was of average quality, nothing special but not bad either. The main course was ordered breaded, but there was little breading to be seen. Overall, average taste, neither bad nor particularly good. 2. Service: Unfortunately, people slept here. The system of writing on a piece of paper is a clever system, but you shouldn't forget to set up the table. Cutlery (chopsticks etc.) had to be ordered separately. Also, only 2/3 of the starters ordered were brought and were not served even after repeated requests. The main course we ordered had to be asked for and then it still didn't come. So 2/3 people had food. Significant improvements need to be made here. So after we canceled the food that hadn't been delivered after a long wait, the restaurant showed its appreciation and brought the main course on the house. This gesture was a positive surprise. 3. Ambiance: Unfortunately it is very crowded and loud. The room has little interior equipment to absorb sound, which made it possible to fully follow conversations at other tables. The prepared sushi is served on wooden figures. These figures are very beautiful, but unfortunately they take up too much space on the table due to their size. Conclusion: Suitable for take-away, inexpensive sushi. However, I wouldn't recommend eating there. At least one person has control of the store and an overview. The other waitresses seem listless and have little understanding of service.

Good food and the presentation is the shame. The price is good too. There's no reason not to eat here yo.
