We are visiting Karlsruhe for the weekend on our way to the south of France. On a very hot (birth)day, we found MaiGarden, with an extended menu (soo many options) and aircon inside. We had a lovely dinner here. We chose Sushi for two people and loved it. The staff was friendly and our meal came quickly. Also loved the mushroom/fish soup that came with it. We would come again in a next visit to Karlsruhe.

The service is absolutely courteous and attentive. The food is of excellent quality, and each plate is beautifully presented with care. The air-conditioned rooms are clean and beautifully decorated.

My GF and I have been here several times and they've always been consistently great with their food, their service, and their friendliness. I always enjoy the crispy duck and my GF enjoys the veggie noodles, as well as the Summer Rolls. This place is always worth a visit whenever we visit Karlsruhe. 🙂

We've been coming here for several years. The food is always excellent—fresh, beautifully presented. The staff is always friendly. And even better—the food almost always arrives quickly.

We were here for the first time today, and I have to say, "Wow!" We ordered five different starters, including sushi. The service team was very friendly. It's a great place to sit outside at lunchtime; there's plenty of shade, plenty of seating, and very pleasant music. We'll be back.

We visited Maigarden for lunch and really enjoyed it. The five dishes we ordered were delicious and the portions were just right. The staff served us quickly and politely. They catered to our specific requests immediately. Highly recommended!

The three of us ate and drank very well, spending a good €150 each. That included a starter, main course, dessert, and several drinks. The food was prepared to a high standard and tasted just as good. Highly recommended.

Very tasty food with great drinks and attentive service

We were invited to MaiGarden for lunch for a birthday. I've lived in the city for 20 years and wonder why I hadn't been to this restaurant sooner. We sat outside on a very hot day. The air was a bit stagnant and heated under the umbrella. However, it was bearable, especially since you're sitting in the middle of the city and it's still pleasantly quiet. The staff took great care of all guests and fulfilled all their wishes. Anyone who would like to order a dish from the lunch menu (Mon-Fri) on the weekend can do so for a small additional charge. In general, the menu is very extensive and should offer an appealing choice for every guest. The quality certainly doesn't suffer from the variety and is far better than in comparable Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I had the 24 as a starter and the 60 as a main course (see pictures 1 & 5). I can only rave about both dishes. I find the portion sizes almost too large. But the value for money is good! I'll definitely come here again and try the sushi menu.😊

Very large restaurant. The food was really good, both in terms of taste and quality, and also its appearance. My server was very friendly and prompt. I'll deduct some for the noise level (inside). I imagine a romantic candlelit dinner would be a bit exhausting. Otherwise, a definite recommendation!

My favorite place for sushi & steak in Karlsruhe! When it comes to sushi, I've made a clear choice: Mai Garden! After more than three delicious visits, I can clearly say that not only the taste is right, but also the price is right! As is well known, food is usually a feast for the eyes, and this is taken to the extreme here. All dishes are served like a work of art, making it a treat to be enjoyed! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very calm, clean, and homely, decorated with Asian artwork. A clear recommendation for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with your partner or family.

I ate at MaiGarden in Karlsruhe and was thrilled. The mango salad was outstanding – the best selection and combination of ingredients I've ever experienced in a dish of this kind. The pleasant spiciness, the perfectly balanced dressing, and the freshness of the ingredients absolutely won me over. The lemonades are also really good – refreshing, balanced, and a perfect match for the food. The rib-eye steak was grilled to perfection, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell right away that they know a thing or two about meat and grilling. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality offered. The staff and service were friendly, attentive, and quick. Added to that is a harmonious, pleasant atmosphere where you feel at home. I'll definitely be back here and wholeheartedly recommend MaiGarden.

We came here on a recommendation to try the most delicious pho in Karlsruhe, and it was simply delicious! I love this traditional dish, but unfortunately, it doesn't taste as good everywhere. The music and atmosphere are very pleasant (when the cutlery isn't clinking, which was a bit annoying, so it deducted a point). Otherwise, everything was really great; we'll definitely be back at MaiGarden 💚

The food is generally quite good, although the description of what you're getting could be a little better. However, the food is noticeably different from the Vietnamese restaurant around the corner; the seasoning is much better and there are a few fewer flavor enhancers, I'd say. The price is a bit higher, but still absolutely reasonable.

We had a great lunch on the relaxing terrace. Very attentive and friendly service and the card was issued with all the important information, very pleasant, any questions arise and make ordering very relaxed for both parties. Really specially composed drinks and when it comes to food, there is something for everyone. You can see the beautiful arrangement in the photos and everything is very fresh. Price-performance top! The staff very polite and friendly! Interior very elegant and beautiful. Also very enjoyable outside in summer. The location just outside the hustle and bustle of the city makes it very pleasant. The food was not only extremely tasty but also plentiful and very filling. We all struggled a bit at the end. I drank the Eclipse lemonade. I ate the 91st duck with a delicious sweet savory sauce and baked banana with ice cream for dessert. We'll definitely be back :)

One of the best restaurants in Karlsruhe. The Lotus Duck is excellent. The service, in particular, is great: they make you feel very welcome and are very knowledgeable about the menu. Outdoor seating is picturesque. Highly recommend.
