This Vietnamese-Japanese fusion restaurant is quite delicious and the dishes are exquisite. We booked a table for 10 people that day for our baby's first birthday. The restaurant specially arranged for us to be in a relatively quiet environment so that we would not be disturbed. After the meal, we were given a very exquisite small cake. The lovely little candles and fireworks made the atmosphere very warm.

Today was my second time here at MaiGarden Karlsruhe. When I was there for the first time recently, we had edamame and gyoza as starters. We enjoyed both very much. For the main course I had the rice noodles with prawns, beef and spring rolls. I liked the spring roll best and unfortunately I found the meat a bit dry. That's why I tried the chicken curry with coconut curry sauce today and was very impressed with it. We were missing a little music to create the perfect ambience and unfortunately it got a bit chilly towards the end. The dessert variation for 2 people and the chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream were also excellent. We'd love to come back.

It's been a long time since I've had such good food with such great service.

The Pho in the hot stone bowl is amazing! The noodle is "hausegemacht", so it tastes really different from the instant noodle that I often eat. My husband likes the light broth, which I agree on. The atmosphere is nicely calm and the waiter provides decent service. A small tip: Don't order beer with Pho. Maybe try some homemade icetea instead.

A very nice decorated restaurant. The service can be tweaked here and there, but nothing dramatic. Good sushi selection, but not quite my thing there. But I would go again.

The waterfall cocktail with the rice vodka was really tasty and tasted something new for me. The salad with papaya was delicious and the duck breast was probably the best I've ever had. So completely thrilled and will definitely come here more often. In terms of portion size, one dish is actually enough, but everything tastes so delicious that you quickly order more. Only the ambience seems a little cooler at the seats on the edge. And also to criticize, if the menu says "with king prawns" (i.e. plural...), I actually expect more than one prawn.

We were here for a birthday dinner today. It was super delicious and at the end there was music and a birthday surprise. We recommend the restaurant 100%!! Great evening :)

Good thing they were still open on Christmas. We ordered salad and tartare as a starter and ordered the Lucky Day Sushi Menu as the main course. The food was very good and enough to fill you up if you were hungry. The restaurant is very nice and cozy inside. Air conditioning is also included.

My visit to Mai Garden today was phenomenal again! I come here regularly with my friends and we have never been disappointed. Really delicious and beautifully presented food in a modern and authentic atmosphere! And the service is simply so personal and warm that we have never experienced in any other restaurant. I will come again with my circle of friends to the New Year's Eve party on December 31st, 24 and hopefully I will be lucky enough to win the latest iPhone 16 ✌️

Our favorite place for parties and dates! We tried many different dishes here and the X.O sauce is amazing. As a starter I choose papaya salad, tapas or fried sushi salmon rolls. The air is very calm which helps us to enjoy our beautiful moments.

The food at Mai Garden is really good. Portions are very generous and they have a good variety. The waiting staff is really friendly. They are excellent and very friendly towards children and pets. The place inside is spacious and inviting.

Had a spontaneous meal here today. We were totally thrilled. You can tell right from the reception: hospitality is very important here! We had three different waitresses. All three were very friendly, looked after us and gave us tips when we had special requests for food. At no time did we have the feeling that we had chosen something wrong or put something together wrong. When the food arrived, it wasn't just a holiday for the taste buds. Beautifully prepared, the vegetables were al dente and fresh and the grilled octopus felt like it was eaten right by the sea! There were five of us and all five were absolutely thrilled! We will travel from Stuttgart again and eat there.

Very authentic Vietnamese food, Japanese food also tastes very good, the environment is also very good, and the service is very friendly. It is a good place for friends to gather.

The staff was very attentive and nice and the waiter gave good recommendations. We had dumplings and Goyas and both starters were delicious. For the main course we had a squid dish, fillet steak and chicken in coconut milk. The dishes were beautifully presented, the vegetables were delicious, crunchy and fresh and the fish and meat were delicate. We were very satisfied.

What a great restaurant! Everything is just right at Mai Garden – the great atmosphere, the exceptional food and the wonderful drinks. We had the **Tofu Summer Rolls** as a starter and the refreshing lemonades **2nd September** and **Eclipse Lemonade**. Everything tasted fantastic and was beautifully coordinated. A big compliment to the service, especially to Jane, who looked after us very well with her warm manner. Thank you for the great experience – we are already looking forward to the next visit!

Mai Garden in the heart of Karlsruhe is simply a dream! The atmosphere is perfect – relaxed, stylish and inviting. We ordered the **Crispy Duck Curry** and the **Seitan Curry** and both dishes were absolutely top notch. The flavors, the texture and the presentation – everything was just perfect! The service was excellent, we would particularly like to highlight lovely Jane, an incredibly friendly and attentive lady from Singapore. She made our evening even better! We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is attractively decorated. However, the seats at the window front (two benches each with a table) are narrow and rather unsuitable for taller people. The food is OK, but we noticed that glutamate was used. The service is very slow and inattentive, meaning you have to wait a long time to be discovered, be it when initially ordering, reordering drinks and finally when you want to pay. That's a little annoying. The price-performance ratio isn't quite right either.

Found once in the summer, the next time it “disappeared”. Discovered again today - my HEART rejoiced - my tongue licked! Goodbye, always happy!

Food was great. Had spring rolls, dumplings and sushi. The mochi was also great. Unfortunately, the service was poor even though the store wasn't full. You had to wait forever for the food and then the table was only cleared when called. What a shame!

Vietnamese restaurant with very good food and an attractive ambience. We had papaya salad and vegetarian dumplings as starters. As a main course Pho Bo and salmon with vegetables. Vietnamese coffee for dessert. All dishes were very tasty and attractively prepared. The rice noodles are made in-house. The Vietnamese coffee also tasted very good. We'd love to come back.

I found the pho tasteless and I had to wait at the door for a really long time until someone came to take me to my table. And all of this for above-average money. Sure, the rent has to be paid, but the food should also be good.

The service attitude and perfunctoryness are uncomfortable English and Chinese are not friendly. Tourists who don’t speak German are just here to find irritation.

The lunch menu is fantastic! Huge portion (almost too big for the time), friendly service and very fair prices. The menu is particularly recommended: I ordered the duck with rice, vegetables and a salad. Everything was very tasty and very plentiful. It was also no problem to order a different sauce for the meat than stated on the menu. Absolutely deserves five stars!

Food is delicious, there is a small bowl of rice to eat, I asked for some more rice, it was charged extra, I had never experienced it before, I don't think it was good

We have known Mai Garden for a few years now and are reluctant to admit that the quality of the taste has deteriorated. There is hardly any difference in taste with the sushi, with the other dishes you have to be lucky to find something exciting. Sometimes components described in the menu are missing, other times it was a rather dry pile of carbohydrates. Hunger ultimately drives it in, but the prices are too high for that. The service tries hard - and some are really lovely - but sometimes seems overwhelmed. Maybe it has passed its peak :/

The food was really good and very nicely prepared. We had to wait almost 1 hour for our sushi! The playground and the musicians make the stay a little livelier.

Food was tasty, but not the absolute highlight. Sushi is only available from 3 p.m. But the service was always friendly. The ambience itself is in need of improvement in that old tags that still reveal clues to the previous Italian restaurant should be replaced.
