Good food. Not cheap, but good value. Friendly staff.

We were a group of six at Mai Garden on Saturday evening and it was absolutely delicious! The sushi, papaya salad, lotus duck, and especially the tuna steak were highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The food was really great, and the service was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately, it's very noisy. We'll still come back!

Generally speaking, the food at MaiGarden is good, but: despite having a reservation, it was initially unclear where we were supposed to sit. The restaurant was so noisy that conversation at the table was difficult. While we were eating, a chair was removed from our table without a word, and later a neighboring table was pushed in. New guests were already waiting for the now-created six-seater table, so we were told to either move or pay. That's not what good service looks like. We won't be going back.

Fried noodles that are dripping with fat and oil and completely tasteless. You'd need a magnifying glass to find the vegetables that are supposed to be in there. No way, seriously.

I'm here in Karlsruhe for a course I have to take, so of course I'm staying in a hotel. I pre-ordered the food and the staff were incredibly friendly; the food was absolutely amazing. I had the dumplings and fried sushi, highly recommended.

Maigarden is one of our favorite restaurants in Karlsruhe. Not only is the food always delicious, and we always enjoy discovering new dishes, but the service is especially excellent. The waiters are incredibly attentive and friendly, and we feel very welcome. Even the salad served with the appetizer is fantastic and a true culinary highlight.

Yesterday, November 3rd, 2025, the weather was beautiful and surprisingly warm. We sat outside in the sun, and all eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was very attentive. The interior is also very pleasant, and there's plenty of space both inside and out, even for larger groups, without feeling cramped. Be sure to try the Vietnamese coffee. We'd love to come back again on our next visit to Karlsruhe.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting; you immediately feel at ease. The appetizers and main courses were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly service – you can tell that they put their heart and soul into their work. The environment was very comfortable and clean, and the service was natural and friendly. We came for lunch and ordered beef pho and fried shrimp (item number 23 on the menu), both of which were delicious! The beef pho broth was clear, flavorful, and piping hot – a perfect broth. The beef had a creamy flavor, and the chili peppers in the toppings were very spicy. Combined with lemon juice, it was incredibly delicious. The only slight disappointment was the lack of bean sprouts in the noodles, perhaps for food safety reasons. Overall, it was a very delicious Vietnamese pho. The fried shrimp rolls were also very tasty and crispy! With the tangy and spicy sauce, the taste was truly exceptional. The restrooms were also very clean. A very satisfying dining experience, thank you for the hospitality! Just a small heads-up: the wait here can be a bit long. When we went, there were few people, and we still waited about 20 minutes for the pho. Of course, I don't mind the wait at all; I think freshly made food is worth the wait. However, if it's crowded and you're in a hurry, the wait might be quite long.

The very tasteful ambiance invites you to linger, with extremely friendly and attentive staff and excellent service. A large selection of Vietnamese specialties, all dishes are freshly prepared and lovingly presented. This restaurant is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Karlsruhe. In the summer, the restaurant also offers a large number of terrace seating.

One of the best Asian restaurants in all of Karlsruhe—if not the best! The food is excellent and freshly prepared, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is always friendly and attentive. I especially recommend the chicken panko—crispy, juicy, and simply delicious. I'll definitely be back and can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Asian cuisine!

Excellent food and top quality! Highly recommended for anyone who values ​​delicious, high-quality cuisine – provided their wallet is reasonably loose. It can be said that the sushi prices are fair, but the portions – as is typical for sushi – are not only quite small, but also truly below average. My girlfriend and I had two appetizers, four sushi, one rice with egg, one jasmine rice, and two waters. The total bill came to just under €75. I only felt full thanks to the extra portion of rice. Conclusion: Fantastic food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. However, if you're thinking of eating a main course here, you should budget a bit more.
