There were two of us and we received a very warm welcome. The service was also very friendly. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The sushi (veggie menu + avocado tempura) was extremely delicious and beautifully presented! We'd love to come back.

We chose the sushi platter for 2. A starter of salmon, miso soup and an excellent selection of nigiri, shasimi, special roll and maki. Great portion size.

It was a great experience with plenty of choice. The interior was beautiful, and the food tasted good and looked lovely. I ate here for my birthday, and after pointing it out to the waitress, they decorated my dessert, which looked very nice.

We actually just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat – and we were absolutely thrilled! 🍣 The sushi was super fresh and delicious, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff incredibly friendly. We had dinner at MaiGarden. It was very busy, but the service was attentive and immediately informed us that both sushi (at least 50 minutes) and drinks might take a little longer. We had the 2nd September passion fruit lemonade, papaya salad, spring rolls, summer rolls, and the crispy duck in tamarind sauce – everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The server's honest communication was particularly positive.

Mai Garden is a lovely restaurant located in Karlsruhe, which we stumbled across while walking through the city. We went here twice during our stay. Service was great, food was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Everything was actually good, except that we were there for almost 2 hours at lunch. Firstly, our food was completely forgotten and afterwards it took forever until we could pay and get a receipt. Simply fantastic! I spent a wonderful lunch at Maigarden. The service was not only very friendly but also gave me excellent recommendations. The duck was incredibly delicious, delicately flavored, and beautifully presented—a work of art in itself. The sushi was extremely fresh and perfectly prepared. I would particularly like to highlight the meat spring roll; it was the best I've ever eaten! All in all, a culinary experience of the highest caliber. Absolutely HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had a lovely dining experience at MaiGarden, a Vietnamese restaurant in Karlsruhe. We ordered the mixed snacks platter, a hearty soup, and the sushi platter. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was a real highlight - the wasabi was so sharp it could bring tears to your eyes, in the best possible way! The portions were generous, the service attentive, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A great spot if you’re looking for authentic flavors and a satisfying meal.

As a Vietnamese, without too many expectations about Vietnamese cuisine here, I rate this restaurant 5 stars. The food is close to what I have tried in Vietnam, with a little variation to suit the taste here. Will come back.

The food at Mai Garden is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the space is very clean.

Overall, the food and drinks were good. At times, the service seemed incomplete, so they always had to find someone else to do certain tasks. The food was beautifully presented, but in my opinion, somewhat poorly presented and, above all, the quantity was too small – I felt there was more garnish than food on my plate. There were so many flies buzzing around the table that they had to be helped with a fan.

The server was very friendly, even though our water was initially forgotten. It wasn't a problem, though; after a quick request, it came right away. All in all, a great experience; we'd love to come back!

We were there for business. The order wasn't shipped. We had to wait over an hour until they confirmed that the order hadn't been shipped. Then another 30 minutes. No apology, nothing. That was the first and last time.

We were here for 3 hours, one of which we weren't served. The server also forgot our order and then forgot the second round of drinks. I've never had such a bad experience at a business dinner. Definitely not a recommendation.

We had the seafood & shrimp soup and the main course "Royal Chicken & Duck in Saigon" and were very satisfied with everything. The service was incredibly friendly; other restaurants could take a leaf out of their book. :) So I don't skimp on the tip either.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't so good. It started with the (linguistic) confusion about what could be ordered on Sundays (lunch), then, while all the main courses were being served, there were suddenly no fries. Later, unfortunately, it took a very long time, even after asking, to pay. Since it wasn't that busy, this wasn't really understandable.

The restaurant has a lovely terrace next to a church square. We had a delicious lunch after which we explored the city. The food was delicious, and they have an extensive menu. Delicious tom yum soup, curry, and sushi. Unfortunately, the steak was a bit disappointing.
