Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe vor Ort, was für den Service immer eine Herausforderung ist. Und das Team hat es gemeistert. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen kam zugi6und aar sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist etwas nüchtern, insofern nicht ganz mein Fall, aber den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck soll das nicht schmälern. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung.

Das Essen war fantastisch gut und die Bedienung total nett. Wir saßen am Schluss noch mit dem Wirt persönlich zusammen und hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich war hier schon öfter und es ist eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants. Das Essen ist super lecker, die Ente zum Beispiel ist von innen saftig und außen knusprig und die Soße dazu-🤤. Das Ambiente ist total schön, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Wer dieses Restaurant nicht ausprobiert, verpasst definitiv etwas.

Die gebratenen Nudeln waren wirklich sehr lecker! Alles wichtige wie Soja - oder scharfe Soße stand am Tisch, Service war auch super. Gerne wieder :)

Speisen waren überhaupt nicht authentisch, ohne Gewürz, schmeckten eher Deutsch als asiatisch. Sehr langweilig.

Super nettes und kleines, vermutlich Inhabergeführtes Restaurant. Gekocht wird mit viel Liebe und Frische, wie wenn man bei Freunden zum essen eingeladen ist. Man schmeckt die Frische der Zutaten. Preis/Leistung sehr gut. Lediglich bei den Toiletten ist noch etwas Gestaltungsspielraum, welche die positive Bewertung nicht beeinflusst.

Wir hatten sehr leckeres Essen und wirklich sehr freundlicher Bedienung! Kommen wieder!

Echte vietnamesische Phở – reichhaltige Brühe, frische Kräuter und perfekt gekochte Nudeln

Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich hier wohl nicht mehr hinkommen werde. Das Essen hat nach nicht so viel geschmeckt - einfach fad, da hat der Pepp (die Sauce) gefehlt. Der Plastiktwller auf dem das ganze angerichtet war, hat die Qualität da auch nicht gehoben... Service war leider auch mäßig und als ich abends nach Hause kam, hab ich gestunken als hätte ich den Abend in der Frittenbude gearbeitet...

Essen war sehr lecker und frisch. Super Ambiente. Sehr herzlicher Gastgeber. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Fantastisches Essen!! Wahrscheinlich das beste, das wir in ganz München gegessen haben. Der Kellner sprach zwar kein Englisch, war aber sehr nett. :)

Von den Essen und Atmosphere kann man sich zwar nicht beschweren, aber das Verhalten vom Kellner war unangemessen. Als erst umgezogen Ausländer wusste ich nicht, dass es so respektlos wäre meine Wasserflasche auf dem Tisch liegen lassen. So bald es bezahlt wurde, hat der Kellner halt grob und rasch meine Flasch gefasst, gehoben und sagte, es sei in Deutschland in Restaurants verboten und ging plötzlich los. Warum nicht das von Anfang an einfach erklären, insbesondere wenn es von ihm bemerkt wurde, der Kunde aus dem Ausland kommt?! Dass Grobheit mit seiner Kultur zu tun hat, darf auch keiner behaupten, weil es bei anderen vietnamesischen Restaurants in München überhaupt kein Problem war. Enttäuschend.. Das war meine erste, schlechte, gastronomische Erfahrung in München. Hoffentlich auch die letzte...

Nach einem schönen Spaziergang abseits der Münchner Touristenmeile entdeckte ich dieses kleine Juwel. Authentisches Thai-Essen – und einfach köstlich! Auch das Mittagsangebot war sehr zu empfehlen. Die Tom-Yom-Suppe war perfekt und einfach himmlisch. Was für eine angenehme Überraschung, in Deutschland so gutes Thai-Essen zu finden! Wenn Sie dem Trubel und den vielen Würstchen entfliehen möchten, kann ich dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Took a nice walk away from the tourist area of Munich and found this little gem. Authentic Thai food and so, so good. There was a nice lunch special too. Tom Yom soup was spot on and delish. A very pleasant surprise find really good Thai food in Germany. If you want to get away from the crowds and all the sausages… I highly recommend you come here.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit asiatischem Flair, besonders die Damentoilette mit ihrer wunderschönen Einrichtung. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen großzügig. Ich konnte problemlos Fischsauce hinzufügen (da ich eine Fischallergie habe).

Das Essen war gut. Die Bedienung wirkte etwas verwirrt und hat eine Getränkebestellung falsch aufgenommen. Das Restaurant war ziemlich eng, und wir mussten uns etwas lauter anhören, um uns mit den anderen Gästen zu unterhalten. Unser Essen kam ziemlich spät.

Beautiful, cozy decor, very friendly staff. The food didn't impress me. My girlfriend's shrimp curry was very good, but my tofu dish with tomatoes and onions was so bland that I had to spoon on the spicy paste. Even the rice was awful, and I usually enjoy eating it plain at Vietnamese restaurants. What a shame :(

It is delicious, I ate sweet-sour duck with pineapple. You can have Lychee either as juice or sparkling which is not common many places offer juice option. Clean restroom, nice environment, fair prices.

The food tasted very good, however the beef was extremely tough. I had to swallow the pieces whole; I couldn't break them up with a knife or in my mouth. It was very loud in the restaurant, and we sometimes couldn't hear each other.

I visited on a chilly, rainy day, and the warm soup was delicious. The accompanying chili sauce was a bit spicy, but it was perfect to enjoy with the meat in the rice noodles. The staff was also friendly.

The food tastes excellent; there are a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including vegetarian options. The waitress (the owner) is very friendly, and the service is fast. The only drawback might be the increased noise level when there are many guests, but the ambiance itself is very nice. I'd be happy to come back!

Yesterday we ate at this Vietnamese restaurant in Munich and were very pleasantly surprised. Everything was really fresh – crisp vegetables, cooked to perfection, nothing overcooked. You can tell right away that they only use fresh products. The owner is very friendly, relaxed, and up for a laugh. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the guests were also completely relaxed. On the chef's recommendation, we had an incredibly delicious salad with plenty of side dishes. My main course – wok-fried vegetables – was outstanding and, at €14, unbeatable value. Honestly, I couldn't have made it at home for that price with my hourly wage. Everything was very clean, authentic, and freshly prepared. For us, this is our top recommendation for healthy Vietnamese food in Munich!

Just a few steps from my salon is Sen Restaurant – and every visit is like a little trip to another world. The dishes are fresh, aromatic, and full of flavor. Here, you can feel that the food is prepared with care and passion. I consider myself lucky to have such a place in my immediate neighborhood.

A very nice restaurant with an Asian flair, especially the ladies' restroom, which is sweetly decorated. The food was also very tasty, with large portions. It was no problem to leave out the fish sauce (I have a fish allergy).

The food tastes like it would in Vietnam – fresh, aromatic, simply fantastic. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and attentive. The ambiance is inviting and exudes Vietnamese flair. For me, this is an insider tip in Munich if you want to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Definitely give it a try!

I don't understand the high ratings. The menu consists of standard Vietnamese dishes, and the service is fast and friendly. But the noise level in the relatively small room is very loud. It's almost impossible to have a conversation. Furthermore, the few seats are very close to each other.

Absolutely recommended!... Food is extremely tasty and aromatic. The service is really nice and friendly. The ambience is pleasant. All in all, it's a solid 5.0 stars. We'll come again 100 times! ♡☆

Unfortunately the service wasn't good. We were given cheeky comments several times and the service wasn't attentive either. The food was okay. Nothing special. However, the ambience and location are good.

The "Gà Sốt Đậu Phộng" (chicken with fresh vegetables in a coconut with peanut sauce) was delicious and Gluten-free (It't marked as, and I did not got sick). Stuff very polite and friendly. Good location and atmosphere.

Authentic Vietnamese place near the Fraunhoferstraße metro station. Modest, discreet interior. The hall itself is small, literally 10-12 tables. The menu offers a variety of Vietnamese cuisine: appetizers, soups, main courses and desserts. I got the Fried Chicken in Coconut Milk and Peanut Sauce (menu item 46). Very tasty and juicy. The portion is good, a bowl of rice is served as a side dish. The prices are quite reasonable. There is also a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Drink prices are average for the center of Munich.

Sen is a very popular restaurant among locals. However, the quality of the food is not always the same. But often it is very unusual. The price/performance ratio tends to be high but it is still worth a visit as they often serve very high quality food

Being Vietnamese, I’m very critical when it comes to Vietnamese food. I have to say that this is the best pho that I have tried in Munich. I love that in Pho Ga (chicken rice noodle soup), the restaurant uses meat from chicken drumsticks just like in Vietnam.

Nice restaurant on Frauenhoferstrasse. The two of us spent a lovely evening. Good Vietnamese in Munich. There are better ones in Munich but for the price it is a great value for money. We each had 2 starters which we shared and a main course, which is why the price was €20-30 per person. Would love to come back.

Super restaurant! The owner or main waiter is from Hanoi, and we chatted for a little while in my broken German. He was very friendly. The food is authentic Vietnamese, and the portions were very generous. Our kids received a fried banana as dessert for free. Overall very recommended!

The best Pho (Bo & Ga) I've had in Munich so far. The meat is significantly better than most other places. Plus lots of herbs and an authentic taste. The prices are also very fair and the service is friendly and humorous.

Very small, cramped, inconspicuous Vietnamese restaurant. You sit very close together and when it's full you can hear your neighbor's conversation live. Service is a one man show. Fast and friendly. Why 5 stars? The food is really very good. And the price-performance ratio is also fair.

Favorite place for us during the week and especially on Friday evenings. We have been coming for years and are always impressed by the warmth and the delicious food. Special requests are no problem and sometimes there are surprises!

CAUTION!!! Please read the fine print on the menu! The restaurant has declared some dishes as “vegetarian”, but they contain fish sauce and crustaceans. The waiter is adamant that the name is correct. Furthermore, he is absolutely convinced and resistant to advice! Nevertheless, he tried to change the chef's dish to "vegan", but the food came to the table extremely (and I'm not exaggerating!) oversalted! I tried it a few times because I'm totally against wasting food, but after a while my throat actually hurt and I really had to stop. I was then offered not to pay for the meal, but there was no sign of understanding. I hope that he is ready and open to new insights so that he can continue to do his work in the long term.

If you think I have offended you, you can come directly to me and tell me. Then I would at least think that you are an honest person. But you decided to complain to your colleagues about your guests from the start. And then you just carried the food away in the same rude way. Unfortunately, you are not suitable for this job because you do not have the ability to solve problems.

We had our best Vietnamese meal in Munich. The Pho is amazing, super tender beef and authentic flavor. The crispy duck is also very tasty! Good price, great location and excellent service. The owner is very kind. He even offered me an extra bowl of meat 🥹. The foods and the vibe made me feel like home. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Munich! Thank you for a great meal! 😍

Edible if a little bland. I ordered a classic. With coconut milk and spicy. Unfortunately completely mild and unseasoned. The service, presumably by the owner, was okay. The smoke vent in the kitchen doesn't work. Our clothes smelled like kitchen. Inexpensive restaurant for Munich.

Familiäres Restaurant mit vielen Stammgästen. Der Inhaber, Lang, bemüht sich sehr um seine Gäste. Man kann sich übrigens so gut wie jedes Gericht auch vegetarisch zubereiten lassen oder sich überraschen lassen: einfach sagen, was einem schmeckt und man bekommt garantiert ein leckeres Essen!!! Es gibt auch regelmäßig off-menue Specials, z.B. Hot Pot oder ein 3-Gänge Menü vom Stör. Nachfragen lohnt sich. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Below average food. I read the review that says this is authentic Vietnamese... no it isn't.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but Sen was good enough to be an exception. We got back to Munich from a tour to Neuschwanstein, and it was quite late at night - almost closing time. However, we were welcomed in warmly by the owner, even though we ended up staying until a good 45 minutes past closing time. The food (I ordered a pho) was incredible - I have had a lot of Vietnamese food in Seattle, but this was the best I have had by far. The owner was even kind enough to bring us drinks after our meal, and we ended up chatting for a while. Munich as a whole was a great experience, but this man and his service made us feel like regular and valued customers even though we were probably making life difficult for him by walking in so late. This place was really a highlight of my stay in Munich, I highly recommend.
