The establishment, service and cuisine are undoubtedly outstanding.

We have often been to the lakeside terraces in the summer and enjoyed eating our food on the jetty. The day before yesterday we spontaneously decided to stop there on our way home from Halle. I was really impressed by the visual impression inside and out. How much effort the operators put into getting everything ready for Christmas. Everything shone and sparkled festively down to the smallest detail. And the food! Just great. We ordered the goose leg, which was traditionally served with dumplings, red cabbage and baked apple. Simply delicious. It must be mentioned that the service was friendly, attentive and professional. The restaurant is really recommended.

We were there this afternoon. I had an ice cream sundae with additional eggnog. The ice cream sundae costs 9.50 euros and the eggnog costs an additional 2.00 euros. The price is disproportionate to the ice cream sundae. This was small and you could only make out the eggnog This was barely visible, let alone tasted. The waitress was probably already in after-work mode.

A nice restaurant with very good delicious food! Always nice to be there.

The best part was the fireplace with real wood.

A nice place in itself, but in some places more attention needs to be paid to cleanliness. For example with the glass balustrade. The quality of the service depends on the person serving it.

After drinking coffee on the terrace in the summer, we wanted to come back again in the cooler season. We weren't disappointed. There was a fire blazing in the fireplace, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommended

Very nice, large restaurant right on the lake. Rich, very good and varied food for upscale but quality-appropriate prices. Due to the location, view and size, it is also well suited for events. Really highly recommended.

One star for the great location. Otherwise, catastrophe. Absolutely overpriced food. We had reservations for 25 people. And had to wait 2.5 hours for food (lunch). The reason given when ordering is that the kitchen can't handle it. And then at 12.30 p.m. 3 dishes that were no longer available on the menu were supposedly already "out". The big thing was that two other larger parties had reserved tables and guests were still being seated. If you know that several parties have made reservations, you cannot accommodate any more guests and should close for this time because the party is closed. Or you can't accept such reservations if the kitchen can't handle it. That was the pinnacle, you could have at least given something free as a greeting from the kitchen or a free drink. Nothing like that. It's all about making money, because the prices are outrageous. There's no star chef and it's not really comfortable inside either. Mass processing that cannot be managed. In addition, the waitress was difficult to understand due to her strong accent. According to other guests, the long waiting times are always the same when there are more than 3 people sitting at the table. Compared to 5 years ago, the quality has deteriorated significantly and the prices have almost doubled. Just annoying and not recommended.

From the restaurant you have a beautiful view over the Süßen See and the castle. The food selection is unimaginative and the price-performance ratio is not right. The quality of the dishes is okay. Unfortunately, this wonderfully located restaurant is run unprofessionally. The service is uncoordinated and the waiting times are correspondingly long. The operator is rude and short-tempered. He occasionally even threatens his guests with criminal charges if they try to take home the food they paid for. One can only wish the location to change operator.

A very nice restaurant located right on the lake. Unfortunately, you can't fully enjoy the view because the windows are very dirty. The staff is very unfriendly. We sat for almost 30 minutes until someone came and were then directed to a smaller table as the table was too big for 2 people. The prices are very high and rather unreasonable. The owner rests on his good location and unfortunately doesn't care much about cleanliness and friendly service.

Today we took a tour on the motorbike, stopped and ate here, absolutely great service, very funny and friendly, highly recommended food. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Very modern stylish restaurant right on the water. There is a large terrace, partly covered and even some places on a floating platform. In the summer it was definitely very popular in the evenings, but now out of season it was rather quiet. There are plenty of free parking spaces available. We had a wheelchair with us. Access to the terrace was easily possible with a ramp. There is quite loose gravel in the parking lot, so pushing it was really difficult. The menu shows the upscale class. All dishes were very nicely prepared. I can particularly recommend the wild herb salad with goat cheese and honey, that was something special. So the price-performance ratio is right again.

We were very satisfied with the ambience, the service and the selection of dishes - once trout and once fried fish - we would be happy to come back

Once and never again. We couldn't even order drinks because no one showed up. And when you go to a restaurant, you don't run after the waitress to beg to be served. So we left again after about 1 hour.

Very pleasant staff located right on the Süssen See with a view of the castle. In bad weather there is also a large indoor area.

Moody service You didn't notice the price when you ate it. A different side dish is simply served than what is on the menu. No information whatsoever.

Very good food (although a little more expensive), right on the lake. The restaurant is visually a bit simpler and looks more like a bar.

I think I'm in the GDR, wow I just put it in reverse gear. I just wanted to take a look at the place. Staff unfriendly and overwhelmed. What do they do when the place is full? Everything isn't necessarily first class and you won't be greeted with a smile from the waitresses. It's a shame about the beautiful location. Professionals would have to work here.

Unfortunately, we had a very mixed experience on Sunday evening. First we were made to wait a long time at the entrance to be seated. The area was only at around 50% capacity. They saw us but didn't react. Only a summer season ticket was handed out. The selection was fine here. However, the original map of the website was not given to us. However, at the neighboring table we could see that there were more (other) dishes that we unfortunately couldn't choose. When the food came it was only lukewarm and the plates were hotter than the dishes on them. But we were hungry. When I commented that the Thai chicken curry was very spicy, there was only a tired shrug of the shoulders. A note on the map would have been nice. Curry doesn't necessarily have to be spicy. We then waited a whopping 15 minutes for water that we ordered later. You can't blame a lack of staff here, there were at least four service staff in the restaurant and there was obviously time for chatting at the counter. There is nothing wrong with the taste of the food. Both the curry and the bacon-wrapped mock medallions were very well prepared. But unfortunately it was almost cold when served. The next negative point is when paying. We weren't presented with an invoice at all, it came directly with the card reader. However, this cannot read credit cards (Master/Visa). Only Giro/EC cards work. Of course, tips are only accepted in cash. Welcome to new territory. The kitchen itself did a good job, but it can't help it if the plates have to wait too long to be served. There is still a lot of work that can (must) be done here in terms of service and hospitality.

Restaurant in a very good location directly on and partly on the lake. Food is good and very filling. Unfortunately, the small kitchen is beyond capacity on weekends and it takes a long time until the food is ready. Therefore points deducted.

We haven't eaten as badly as we did here in a long time. The sauce from the chicken gyro was very greasy, poorly seasoned and the cheese was baked dark brown. When it came to fish and chips, the herb temoulade was the best.

It was an excellent dinner with a wonderful ambience at sunset in the Seeterrassen restaurant. The restaurant is easy to reach, both by car and by e-scooter/bicycle. (Bike racks also available on site) As a guest you have a great ambience on the terrace with a view of the Süßen See. We made a reservation in advance by telephone and were greeted and seated upon arrival at the restaurant by a loving and friendly employee (reservation recommended) My partner ordered a Viennese style schnitzel with fries (the normal/large portion see picture) A smaller portion is also offered, which is called the “senior” portion. I ordered chicken gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce with fries and salad. It was very tasty. The wait was about an hour. The restaurant was full and I'm happy to put up with the wait again, it was worth it for the great food. A good home-style restaurant with a diverse selection (fresh fish, pasta, pizza, schnitzel and much more) Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable evening.

Um etwas zu Trinken ganz o.k. Essen für diese Qualität einfach zu teuer. Normales deutsches Wirtshaus Essen. Präsentation der Gerichte wie vor 20 Jahren. Personal war stets bemüht, z.T. aber doch planlos und Unprofessionell für ein Restaurant dieser Preisklasse.

The restaurant is very nice. That's it! The service is incredibly unfriendly and you have to pay extra for everything. 2€ for packing e.g. (very very large portions) they prefer to throw the food away. Leaving out an ingredient also costs extra. Hello??? You probably don't have any allergies. The hammer came with the payment. Nowhere (online or on site) is there any notice that you cannot pay by card. Or with the debit cards that have been in use for over 3 years. I have always paid with it everywhere, except in this service desert... Nice fun fact:. There is no ATM in town either... The food was expensive. It tasted good but wasn't great. The restaurant really rests on its location. Never again….

The location is great, right on the water. A covered patio allows a clear view of the lake. The food, however, was absolutely disappointing. A meal was completely cold when it was served after about 40 minutes. The second meal was at the lowest level in terms of both content and taste. The staff acknowledged everything without comment. An unfortunately very unsatisfactory visit.

There is a sign in front of the entrance that says "From here on please smile", the first thing we see when we enter is a bad-tempered employee. 🙄 We ordered two beers and an ice cream sundae and paid €25.

Had the trout and a homemade lemonade. It was very tasty and cooked to perfection, the fish was slightly translucent, perfect.

There were five of us and wanted to sit down with our friends who were already in the restaurant. However, we were very rudely told that this was not possible as apparently there were no free tables available for five people. There were several free tables for four and six people. Both waitresses were extremely unfriendly and made no effort to win us as customers. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. Never before had I been sent home so senselessly. Absolutely not recommended!

Rude staff, they didn't even ask if everything was ok or if I liked it, they saw that I didn't eat anything at all, they didn't ask a single question, the food was tasteless, the meat was burnt, simple turned around and served on the other side, such a terrible attitude, I haven't seen it in a long time You should learn hospitality but you are far from that :)

I've been there twice now. Eating here isn't tasty, it's rather bad, not really warm, the schnitzel is burnt. Service is unfriendly, bored, serving the guests, not even asking why the schnitzel didn't taste good. It's a shame, otherwise a nice restaurant

The ambience is actually fantastic, located right on the lake, very nice staff and delicious ice cream sundaes and coffee. But unfortunately there is a big veto, everywhere was dirty with dried duck poop. It was very uncomfortable.

A super great location with reasonably good food - unfortunately far too expensive, long waiting times and paying with Visa is also not possible, but you only find out when paying. It's a shame - so much potential...

The restaurant is very well located! Beautiful view of the lake! Very nice to have something to eat and drink! The staff is friendly, relaxed and even jokes with the guests! You feel welcome! Even though there were a lot of guests visiting this restaurant, we quickly got our salad, ice cream sundae and drinks! The salad was delicious and beautifully presented too! The drinks were good too! There was a little bit of ice cream in the sundae and too much cream! The price-performance ratio was really not right here! A pity! We can recommend the restaurant if you want to have a nice day! We personally found it a bit too expensive and the fact that the bill can only be paid with EC card or cash is also not up to date!

Unfortunately there are no smoking/non-smoking areas, so you get fogged up from all sides before eating, during eating and of course after eating. Supplement can be changed for an additional charge. Split potatoes instead of fries🤷🏼‍♀️. Child didn't finish everything and wanted to take the rest with him. It works, of course for an additional charge.🙈 But the crowning glory was at home, in the plastic box was a piece of schnitzel. Vegetables and split potatoes, of which there were a large number left, are missing any trace. It would probably have cost extra to refill each side dish. Nothing special in terms of taste, normal cuisine.

I would prefer not to give any stars at all... Yesterday I invited my family for coffee because it was my birthday, there were 7 of us. It was proven that I had reserved the table months ago. I had it confirmed by phone and even again in person. We arrived, there was no table for us provided. And yes, we waited dutifully for the seating. Two tables were quickly put together. This problem was quickly solved. It took a while until we got our coffee. Then it was revealed to us that the ice cream machine was broken and therefore no ice cream sundaes possible. 3 abstained completely, 4 chose cake. The waitress was unable to tell us the 4 types of cake/tart in the display. It took another while until we could order it. The waitress then came again and opened us that one type of cake was out. As an alternative, raspberry cake was offered and we agreed to it. Then the waitress came back and said that the cake was completely out. Near us, a party with small children sat down after us. They ordered after us and received before us. Since our cups had been empty in front of us for some time, we paid in frustration after having too much coffee removed from the bill. Yes, a reservation can sometimes go wrong. Yes, technology can break. Yes, some types of food can sometimes go missing. Yes, in times of hustle and bustle (or out of consideration for children) other guests can be served more quickly. Yes, there is a shortage of staff everywhere and especially in the catering industry. But the totality of things that went wrong is absolutely not possible and ruined my birthday.

I haven't eaten something so delicious in a long time. It was just a really nice atmosphere. The service was super friendly and the food was a dream. We recommend. 😊

Wir sitzen seit fast einer Stunde und warten auf unser Essen - alles macht einen unprofessionellen Eindruck. Teuer ist es außerdem, ein Glas Wein 9,20€. Die Serviererin läuft unkoordiniert herum, hat wahrscheinlich noch gehört, dass man nicht mit leeren Händen durchs Revier läuft - Tische werden nur mit Verzögerung abgeräumt.

Nice atmosphere, but that’s it. Waited an hour for lunch, prices were crazy - I can get a glass of wine in Munich city center for €9.20. The staff seems completely overwhelmed - they walk around the station without a plan. Nobody there has ever heard that you never run empty-handed. At the end, criticism was expressed in a curt manner - supposedly the long waiting times were caused by a customs check. Not very credible when you read other reviews and always complain about the long waiting times. We definitely won't be coming back

Absolute recommendation! Super delicious food in a great ambience. I have rarely eaten so well. You're happy to spend a few euros more for this. Keep it up! Great!

My experience is the current menu pricing. I can only use the salmon fillet on spinach gorgonzola tagliatelle as an example. So for 34.90 euros it really can't be justified. I was really scared. But it's not a bad thing. Greed is also punished in the market economy and regulates it itself in the long run. In order not to be unfair, I rated the food, ambience and service highly. Carrots that resemble porridge and lettuce that has wilted. But the worst thing is the prices. The landlord must think it's a 4 star restaurant. These prices are not only outrageous, no, they are pure extortion for miserable food. You are not allowed to go there. You're really being ripped off here.

After we were seated at an unmarked table and asked the stressed waitress for a menu after 30 minutes, we had to wait another 25 minutes for ice cream. Ambience and ice cream was delicious but the rest is disappointing. It's shameful when the owner insults you stupidly because you complain about something and the waitress takes it for granted that you're supposed to pay €22.80 and you give her €25 not to give anything out Went there again after 1 year and nothing changed

Now here for the second time and after 1 year nothing has changed. We ordered 4 ice cream sundaes, each of which came individually after 35 minutes and there were only 16 guests on site. Ambience is 10 stars but the price/performance ratio doesn't match 100% either We won't come again

Das Restaurant war innen sehr leer. Draußen war eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft am Anstoßen und die Terrasse hat sich nach und nach auch gut gefüllt. Zur Zeit unserer Bestellung war aber noch nicht so viel Essens-Betrieb. Die Bedienung war flink und freundlich. Das Essen meines Begleiters sah gut aus (Schweinelende). Aber wegen meinem Fisch (Dorade) werden wir wohl nie wieder dort hin fahren. Wie kann man, bei dem geringen Speisenangebot und DEN Preisen, einen halbgaren Fisch servieren. Und, nach einer Entschuldigung beim Abtragen und Versicherung der Zubereitung eines NEUEN Fisches, den selbigen, jetzt sehr dunklen und trockenen aber garen Fisch wieder servieren. Zudem war, durch das offensichtliche starke Aufwärmen des beiliegenden Reises, dieser stark zusammengebacken und nur noch mit Messer und Gabel beherrschbar. Selbst ich als Laie bekomme mein Essen und vor allem eine Dorade besser hin.

The Seeterassen restaurant in Seeburg is located directly on the sweet lake. It's a very nice location with delicious food and great service staff. The waitresses are very friendly, courteous and quick.

The service is really very rude! Made us leave the store immediately. Only Bessi left a positive impression.

Unfortunately, the lake terraces have greatly diminished. Apart from the now really outrageous prices, the service is not good. The starters come before the drinks, the main courses after more than 90 minutes (lunch on weekdays) if you ask politely you are approached in a brusque tone.

Makes a difference in terms of ambience. But that was it. Waiting times beyond good and evil. Waited 35 minutes for the starter, a wild garlic cream soup. Main course came after 1 hour and 10 minutes. The taste has no relation to the exorbitant prices. Lamb shank 32 euros, completely drowned in oil. I'm sorry, but unfortunately that's not possible.

The food is really too expensive for these portions and it doesn't taste like anything. The Bolognese is too garlicky and I like eating garlic. A few sesame seeds in the schnitzel breading, which only tasted like that, otherwise it was not seasoned at all, it's not possible for the money. Then you wait almost two hours for the food and then you don't feel like staying there anymore. The service is friendly, but they can't really serve you very timidly and the whole thing comes across as untrained. I didn't feel comfortable and I won't go there again. There are much better restaurants where you feel at home. The ambience is nice, but it doesn't make up for all the negative things.

Excellent cuisine and very good service. Not a huge menu, but everything is freshly prepared. Meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans will get their money's worth.

The location itself was very nice, as was the quality of the food, but unfortunately that's where it ends. The waitress had trouble even understanding what you wanted to order. Requests that are not on the menu, although very simple things, e.g. an iced coffee or a simple portion of fries, are not possible, even though all the ingredients are available for other dishes. Parts of the order are simply forgotten, even though only 3 tables are occupied. And the worst thing, that which is forgotten, is also billed for and discussed if it is complained about. We had to discuss it for several minutes and demonstrate at the table what was delivered and what wasn't. Sorry, I can't recommend this location.

Nice range and very friendly service

Food very good although it looks a little different in the photos. Service was poor, the table was mixed up, waiting for three quarters of an hour for the food was also rather borderline because there was enough staff. Addressing guests does not belong in such an upscale atmosphere. So getting better is worth it. Speaking of which, if I know that a larger party is coming, I prepare the table when there are no guests in the restaurant. STK

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht!! Das Essen, die Einrichtung, die Aussicht und besonders die Bedienung war einfach toll. Meine Familie und ich werden es gerne weiterempfehlen und kommen bestimmt bald wieder. Wir waren 3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder.

Ich war sehr enttäuscht, wir waren anderes gewöhnt. Die Forelle war im Sommer vorzüglich mit Kräutern gewürzt, heute fast gar nicht gewürzt, ohne nachzahlen nicht genießbar. Der Salat nicht angemacht sondern ebenfalls ungewürzt dazu. Die Kartoffeln waren teilweise hart. Die Creme Brülee war flüssig, also Vanillesoße, dazu Weintrauben gefroren 🤨. Einfach enttäuschend für den Preis. Aber der einheimische gute Wein entschädigt ein wenig. Wir kennen es einfach anders von den Seeterrassen. Schade auch dass der Blumenkohl als vegetarisches Gericht von der Karte verschwunden ist. Er war absolute Spitze. Das Ambiente ist so schön, abgesehen davon , dass immer noch die Weihnachtsdeko steht 🤗.

We were there today for Valentine's Day. Very nice atmosphere, nice service. Unfortunately, the potatoes from the trout were only lukewarm, as were the carrot vegetables from the bacon-wrapped pork fillet. That should be hot for the price. Otherwise recommended and decent portions for the price.

We were at a family celebration in the restaurant with a small group. The food and the ambience were good. Unfortunately the place was completely overheated that evening. The air was bad. As soon as you entered, you felt like you were hitting a wall. (One star deducted). Our attempts to create an acceptable indoor climate were rudely stopped. (Second star deduction). After everyone had undressed to the socially acceptable minimum, we left the place without dessert and without coffee. A pity. On other evenings it might be different, we didn't feel we were treated well.

Cozy with a great view of the lake. You have to take some time because the waiter did everything by himself. But that makes up for the great food.
