We were there on a Sunday...terrible. Never ever again!!! The four of us sat outside and waited forever for our order. It felt like no one really knew what they were doing..then the apple strudel was ready, the package wasn't even warmed up, it tasted musty and disgusting. I think you can expect more for €10.50!!! Two pots of coffee and two water for €50, sorry, absolutely cheeky!!!!!! The whole café didn't convince us, there was a musty smell inside so we definitely won't be coming back!!!!!!!!

We were there on Easter Sunday to enjoy the Easter menu. The location of the restaurant is very nice, close to the lake. Very quiet and green. The restaurant is very spacious, lots of seats and very comfortable chairs. The service was exemplary. The food was absolutely flawless. Modern creations, well cooked and beautifully presented on the plate. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended!

We were at the Seehof after a funeral service - the food was good and plentiful; with fast service that was also on point in terms of communication.

We were there in February after a funeral service. We ordered a starter soup and cold plates! Since we weren't quite sure whether these would appear for 2-3 people, we asked for a bit of flexibility with the cold plates. This was never possible. In the end we were there with two fewer people, even the two remaining soups were placed on the table in a small bowl and we were charged €9.50 each. The soup bowls were very small, so the price is completely disproportionate. The same goes for the cheap bread and cold cuts. In addition, each cup of coffee was charged individually and given almost half full by a very insecure waiter! Afterwards there was a piece of expensive cake (same price as in the Hotel Fontenay on the Alster) with very expensive cream and other drinks. Although many older people only drank water, we ended up with more than €50 per head and not a piece of bread was left. Unfortunately the tables were not put together to form a table. It's just a shame when you feel completely ripped off on a day like this and when you're at the funeral you're most annoyed about the restaurant you went to. If you were angry, you might think that the sad situation was being shamelessly exploited. You will never see me and my family in the Seehof again.

We were there after a funeral with about 25 people. The carrot soup - a poem. And really hot, not just warm. Coffee and cake also very good and a nice location opposite a lake. Parking opposite and free. There is also a large glazed veranda and plenty of outside seating.

We waited forever for the food, even though it was quiet. Drinks were brought to everyone individually. Very small portions. The menu said there was a salad included, but when we asked, we were told no, and then we sat for ages with our empty plates. I don't think any of us 12 guests will be coming here again.

Went there for coffee after an occupation. The pieces of cake were served rather carelessly in different sizes on platters. I wouldn't go there for a L... feast. The staff could also work in kindergarten based on their clothes, very comfortable, in knits and slippers... In addition, the noise level was too loud for me. Not suitable for grieving guests.

Very clean. Good cuisine. You have to look for a parking space. Reservation Required. Or try that. Outside in summer you can sit comfortably in a beach chair. Coffee and cake were very tasty. Friendly staff.

Nice atmosphere, prices are a little bit high in comparison with same restaurants in the area, they charge $1.80 for Sahne, we found it a little bit pricey (compared to specialty coffees, places with similar markup of prices that charge less with same portion of Sahne) For 2 coffees and 3 cakes we paid $27.80. (before tip) (2 people). Not sure if would come back as we really found the place higher in price and the assortment of cakes was limited. (3 types of cakes, all Streuselkuchen cakes with different fillings). The staff was friendly and the place itself is cozy. Apfelstrudel with vanilla ice-cream price is $10.50 (for you to have an idea).

We ate there on Christmas Day and had various dishes from the special Christmas menu. There was nothing wrong with any dish. Everyone tasted good. Finally, I had the eggnog teramisu, which was also incredibly tasty.

Enjoy your meal. Of course primarily as a funeral meeting place after the funeral service. Prices during the above-mentioned celebration tend to be in the upper range. Too bad.

The service was great. We had ordered for 25 people. The carrot soup was delicious, the little bites were great and beautifully decorated with everything. Coffee was constantly being refilled. Finally, the homemade cake; Cherry, plum or apple pie...soooo delicious. I can only recommend it and I come back more often now... and then go for a nice walk by the lake afterwards

Funeral service - drinks and sandwiches, well it was ok but nothing special

Restaurant and cafe on Lake Bramfelder near the Ohlsdorf cemetery. Anyone who has known it for years can notice that it no longer has quite the charisma it once had, but is still very appealing. The dining room rotunda and the friendly terrace with sun protection are particularly impressive. I only ordered an ice cream cafe, which was served quickly and was fine. The house is also ideal for family celebrations. ied

Unfortunately it wasn't a cappuccino and it was pretty expensive. It's a shame because it's the only café on the lake

After a walk around Lake Bramfelder, we thought we would spontaneously stop by the Seehof. We chose a nice spot by the window and there was a nice waitress at the table. I decided on the crispy schnitzel with cream sauce and fried potatoes. What can I say? The order came to the table in no time, the schnitzel was juicy and tender with the cream sauce, a real treat, and the fried potatoes like you know from your mother are simply delicious 😉 We didn't regret the decision to stop in and were more than satisfied. If there had been room, I would have liked to try the homemade cake, but that would be on the next visit. Greetings to the Seehof team, we would love to come back 😉👍

Unfortunately, this café is the only one on the Bramfeld side of the cemetery. We paid €21 for 2 pieces of cherry cake and 2 cokes. There wasn't even a napkin with the cake. When we wanted to pay we had to wait 25 minutes. You couldn't change a €100 note even though it was already 5 p.m. Conclusion: Better get back in the car and drive 5 minutes to the next café.

Great location, best conditions, but it also takes advantage of the fact that the cemetery is right around the corner. The cake can be improved (funeral parties are usually not regular guests, others just use missing alternatives), the staff, which is too small in number, not only tries hard, but saves a lot with their courteous nature. Times are difficult, somewhat increased service and more up-to-date, modern ones Cakes also for funerals. I think it works.

I was here for a funeral. Soup, sandwiches and very tasty cake were served. Everything from our own kitchen, homemade and very tasty. There is space for a large number of people. I can unconditionally recommend the Seehof.

We were there for a funeral service. The atmosphere is more like the early 90s and the decoration was a collection of various Christmas items. There was also far too much and that made it seem untidy and careless. Both the service and the drinks and food offered are no longer up to date. Flexible doesn't really exist as a term there and the cocoa from the machine tastes just as bad as one from the machine that could be in the break room of a workshop. But it's pretty expensive... The cake is homemade but the fruit cake doesn't deserve the name. More gelatine than a piece of sour meat and fruit more as a decoration... The rest possibly fruit juice for coloring. The location next to the cemetery and the possibility of getting cake or soup after a funeral in the nearby cemetery keeps this café alive. It's not all bad but there's too much that's not right for the price. The store would benefit from a redesign and restructuring. Unfortunately, the clientele matches the store... Ancient... And for them it's like a journey back to their youth.

Wir gehen schon seit langem ins "Seehof". Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen schmeckt und bietet keine kleinen Portionen bei einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Selbtgebackenes muss man unbedingt essen oder mitnehmen!

Wir haben das Restaurant zufällig entdeckt beim Spaziergang am Bramfelder See. Der Mittagstisch, eine wunderbare Kohlroulade, war einfach nur lecker, großartig. Dieses Lokal kann ich jedem empfehlen, auch die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und motiviert.

I have never eaten such delicious kale as I did at Seehof. Five stars from me :-).

The average age is certainly quite high, but the cooking and baking is fresh. I think it's good value for money because it just tastes good. In addition to long-running favorites, there are also seasonal dishes. Yummy. Of course you can argue about the furnishings, but the window front is quite nice. When you're on the corner, you can go there with a clear conscience. We will be back.

Wir hatten hier leckeren Kaffee und Kuchen mit Sahne bei Top Personal. Die Hauptspeisen an den Nachbartischen sahen Lecker aus.

Die Kuchen sind wirklich toll und lecker, rechtfertigen aber keineswegs die Preise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! für 1 Beche Kaffeer 4,60, Potion Sahne 1.60, Kuchen 4,60 (Rührkuchen mut Obst) Ne sorry .... da werden wir wohl künftig auf eine andere Lokalität zurückgreifen .

Heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen. Sehr leckerer hausgemachter Blechkuchen. Sehr leckere heiße Schokolade, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder 😊

Super Kuchen, schneller und freundlicher Service. Ein Punkt Abzug weil die Lehnen der Stühle sehr klebrig waren.

Wir haben das Beisammensein mit 14 Personen nach der Trauerfeier im Sommer.2023 ab 17 Uhr im Seehof gefeiert. Es gab Kaffee und Tee mit 4 verschiedenen Kuchen zur Auswahl mit Sahne ( Käsekuchen, zwei Obststreuselkuchen (Kirsch+Apfel)und Pflaumenkuchen). Sehr lecker. Der Service war spitze. Da es heiß war, wurde vom Haus angeboten, Wasser mit auf den Tisch zu stellen. Der Blick Richtung Bramfelder See ist toll. Da Sommer war schaute man ins Grün. Sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Vielen lieben Dank 🙂.

Spontane Einkehr an einem Mittwoch gegen 15.00 Uhr. Der Eisbecher mit Vanille, Apfelmus und Eierlikör war oberste Sahne. Der Kaffee okay. Die Bedienung durch zwei ältere Herren freundlich, kompetent und humorvoll. Eine nette Einkehr zwischendurch auf der großen Terrasse bei bestem Wetter.

Heute Trauerfeier. Alles super, lecker, angenehmes Ambiente, sehr zuvorkommend. So sollte es weitergehen. Viel Erfolg.

Ich war heute spontan mit einer Freundin und meinem Hund hier für Kaffee und Kuchen. Haben schön im Strandkorb auf der Terrasse gesessen. Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Hunde sind hier willkommen und bekommen auch gleich einen Wassernapf hingestellt. Ich hatte Erdbeer-Rhabarber Kuchen und dazu einen Latte Macchiato. Kuchen Stück recht groß und sehr lecker.

Der selbstgemachte Blechkuchen ist sehr lecker.

Das Essen fand ich überhaupt nicht gut. Es war wenig schmackhaft und das Sauerfleisch war selbstgemacht aber im Gelee war sehr viel Fett. Bei der Bedienung hatten wir eine etwas ältere Dame die sehr nett und zuvorkommend war und eine sehr junge die den Beruf verfehlt hat. Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Trauerfeier hier. Die Bedienung war freundlich und hat sich auch nett um unsere Extrawünsche gekümmert. Die Spargelsuppe war gut und der Kuchen sehr lecker. Als Treffpunkt nach einer Trauerfeier hat es mir besser gefallen als das vorgeschlagene Restaurant auf dem Friedhofsgelände.

Außergewöhnlich und überraschend gut

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und freundlich und professionell bedient. Der Kuchen war hervorragend. Vielen, vielen Dank!

Service sehr schleppend. Spargelcremesuppe fehlte die Cremigkeit und war leicht versalzen. Kartoffelpuffer nicht knusprig und ohne Salz. Die auf den Fotos gezeigten Tischdecken gibt es nicht mehr. Die Tische klebten am Rand. Erklärung sie wären falsch bearbeitet worden. Dem Kellner fiel beim Abräumen eine Tasse runter. Hat ihn aber nicht gestört und lies es liegen. Zwei Gästen haben dann nach einiger Zeit Scherben aufgehoben, damit man nicht darüber fällt. Wir waren früher sehr gerne im Seehof zum Kaffeetrinken, wohnen aber inzwischen nicht mehr in Bramfeld. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder.

Eine kleine Oase mitten in Bramfeld. Jahrelang fährt man daran vorbei und übersieht es einfach. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und es hat Spaß gemacht, sich zu unterhalten. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber, gepflegt und laden zum verweilen ein. Es hat einen Fühlfühlfaktor. Die Speisen (Bratwurst mit Pü, Apfelkuchen) ....einfach ein Träumchen. Sehr liebevoll angerichtet und geschmeckt hat es auch, so wie man sich das vorgestellt hat. Von dem Kuchen möchte ich gar nicht reden. Das diese Kuchen selber gebacken werden (Wahrscheinlich nach Omas Rezept) wird jedem klar, der ein Stück auf der Zunge hat. Ein Träumchen! Vielen Dank für diese Wohlfühlstunde in eurer Oase, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Vor zwei Jahren hatten wir die Trauerfeier meines Papas im Restaurant gemacht. Die Die Suppe und die die vielfälltigen Schnittchen waren liebevoll angerichtet, gut gemischt, frisch und es war reichlich und satt für uns alle da. Uns hat es gefallen. Wenn ich jetzt zum Friedhof gehe und es von den Öffnungszeiten passt, kehre ich gerne im Seehof ein. Hab am Donnerstag dort Leber gegessen und die war für mich und auch meine Schwester ein Gaumenschmaus. Auch der mitgenommene Käsekuchen war nicht zu verachten. Das Restaurant Seehof eignet sich gut,um dort nach einer Trauerfeier einzukehren. Die Einrichtung ist freundlich, der Service nett, allerdings etwas langsam und umständlich. Wir haben recht lange gewartet, bis der vorher bestellte Kaffee und Kuchen serviert wurde. Die Preise sind im mittleren Bereich.

Ich bin bereits mehrere Male im Seehof gewesen und ein absoluter glücklicher Kunde, da das Essen wirklich klasse schmeckt. Jedes mal bin ich begeistert egal ob Grünkohl, Gans oder Steak. Absolut sehr gute Deutsche-Küche. Natürlich ist das Ambiente etwas älter, wie man lesen kann und nicht modern, dennoch wer Wert auf gutes Essen legt, sollte dort essen gehen. Jederzeit wieder!

Wir sind spontan am Samstag zum Essen in das Restaurant Seehof eingeladen worden. Der erste Eindruck war etwas abschreckend, da der offensichtliche Altersschnitt Ü50 ist. Ich hatte den Grünkohlteller und eine Nachspeise. Der Grünkohl, war der beste, den ich je gegessen habe! Es klingt übertrieben, aber die Würzung war anders aber wundervoll. Danach hatte ich eine Kugel Vanilleeis. Das Eis schmeckte auch sehr gut. Die Preise waren auch angemessen. Hier werde ich meine Freunde mal mitbringen!

Leider haben wir uns, wie die meisten in unserer Situation, nicht die Mühe gemacht im Vorfeld mal das Internet zu bemühen, um uns ein Bild vom Geschäftsgebaren dieser Lokalität zu machen. In Zahlen heißt das : Für eine Beerdigung mit ca. 30 Personen, bei einem Tässchchen Kartoffelsuppe (5,-€), 2 Scheiben Baguette zur Suppe (1 ,-€) Kaffee und Butterkuchen (der allerdings sehr gut war) sind mehr als 500,-€ zu berappen.Wir können nur auf das hier schon umfassend Beschriebene verweisen was die Abrechnungsmodalitäten dieses Hauses anbelangt. Diese Lokalität nutzt seine Lage zum Friedhof weidlich aus, in dem sicheren Wissen "Wir können auch von denen gut leben, die einmal und nie wieder kommen". Der Saal war nicht geheizt (Januar) und der Service zog sich hin.

Auch wir waren mit einer Trauergesellschaft nachmittags zu Kaffee und Kuchen dort. Wir mussten auf den Kaffee warten und als es losging schenkte nur ein älterer Kellner für 50 Leute den Kaffee aus. Ein anderer Kellner war zwar da, war aber damit beschäftigt reichlich Selterflaschen auf den Tisch zu stellen die wir gar nicht bestellt hatten. Eine Flasche 0,75 Selter schlug dann mit 6,90€ zu buche und wurde ungefragt immer wieder, auch bei nicht ganz leeren, ausgetauscht. Das hatte System und ist echte Abzocke. Der Kuchen war in Ordnung, aber die "herzhafte Brotzeit" die wir noch dazu hatten, bestanden aus 3 halben Schwarzbrotscheiben, waren normal belegt mit Käse und Mettwurst und kosteten 11,00€ pro Teller. Schon frech, dass Trauernde so abgezockt werden.

Ein Restaurant, eher mehr Café mit dem Flair der 60er Jahre. Auf der Terrasse kann man recht gut sitzen. Die Lage am Ohlsdorfer Friedhof und in der Nähe des See bietet sich für eine Rast an oder nach einer Trauerfeier. Der Kaffee ist allerdings traditioneller Filterkaffee, also nichts für Kaffeetrinker, die es etwas kräftiger mögen. Die Schnittchen waren schmackhaft und für das Auge hergerichtet. Hier war nichts zu kritisieren. Die Bedienung, vom Alter her der Klientel angepasst, wirkte zunächst etwas unwirsch, später aber freundlich und beflissen. Insgesamt eben befriedigend, aber nicht mehr. Zu beachten: Pauschalpreise bedeuten nicht immer günstig, vor allem wenn der immer wieder nachgeschenkte Kaffee einzeln abgerechnet wird.

Gutes Kaffe mit Kuchen. Auch deutsche klassische Küche wird angeboten. Beliebt auch zum Trauerkaffee da in der Nähe vom Friedhof.

Schön gelegenes Restaurant (eher ein Café) am Bramfelder See und Ohlsdorfer Friedhof. Die Einrichtung ist eher Alt und es ist ein typisches Café für Senioren. Der Kaffee und Kuchen waren gut, aber auch kein Highlight. Im Gedächtnis bleibt der fast schon unverschämte Preis: 4,70 für den Kuchen und 4,40 für einen Kaffee Latte. Sorry, das gibt wohlverdiente 2 Punkte für die Abzocke.
