Very good Mediterranean cuisine and a very nice view of Lake Friedberg

We returned here after a long absence, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The service was unfriendly, and we had to wait a full 45 minutes for our food. The pizza lacked its former taste and quality; it was unloving and lacked its usual freshness. It's noticeable that the staff is understaffed and stressed, which unfortunately has a strong impact on the service and atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant has deteriorated significantly compared to its former glory, which is why we'll probably come less often in the future.

A great place to stroll around the lake and also play sports! The food is delicious and the service is excellent! High-quality service! Very spacious!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit. The biscuits were broken, there was a piece of paper towel under the ice cream cups, and the ice in the iced coffee was way too hard. Furthermore, the straws were made of paper, making the coffee almost impossible to drink. Overall, I wasn't impressed, and I probably won't visit this café again.

Actually, zero stars. I ordered at 8:00 PM for pickup and was told it would take 20 minutes. When I arrived, no order had been placed, and I had to wait another hour. The pizza ended up being cold, too... Not recommended.

Unfortunately, the pizza was undercooked and raw. The salad with the house dressing wasn't great either. Tip: order oil and vinegar and season it yourself. Very expensive for the quality. It's a real shame, because sitting by the lake with good food would be simply wonderful. I assumed you couldn't go wrong with a pizza (tomato, buffalo mozzarella). But the Seehaus unfortunately proved that to us.

I definitely don't recommend this place. 1. Table reservation: When we arrived, the waiter said, "Oh yes, you reserved a table in the shade!" He searched his terrace and seated us in the blazing sun, since there was no table reservation and no shaded spot available. When asked, he explained that the sun would eventually disappear there too... Right! 2 hours later, after sunset! After asking twice for a shady spot, we were given the worst table in the very back, overlooking an ugly, large concrete corner where tables were stacked with ashtrays, and on the other side, a concrete staircase and an emergency exit from the adjoining hall were visible. By putting two smaller tables together, they could have also provided a larger table in the shade in a better location. However, they were obviously unwilling to accommodate our request. Since we were traveling with elderly people, we reluctantly accepted the lousy view in a beautiful location, as it was about 33 degrees Celsius and the elderly desperately needed shade. 2. Service: Our first table, as well as the one assigned approximately 15 minutes later, were cleaned especially for us. Generally speaking, this is a positive thing. However, not when the cloth smells like it hasn't been washed since 9 a.m. Our order was taken promptly, and the food was delivered relatively quickly. The salad: the dressing was very tasty and plentiful. The chicken strips were cold... okay. The pizza: the dough was soggy and so thin in the middle that it was almost impossible to find under the sauce and cheese. After the food, the tables were cleared quickly. However, this meant that the table in the far corner no longer existed in the eyes of the waiters. No one came by to ask for orders. Our hand signals were also ignored. So we were left with nothing for an hour until we paid. Only the mild summer evening and the fact that we had met there from very different directions prevented us from leaving the restaurant immediately. To summarize the ambiance and location, it could actually be nice... we couldn't notice any of it from our little table. After a hot day right by a lake, the waiters' motivation was analogous to the sun setting at 6:30 p.m.! If you need something to eat to fill you up and don't have high expectations in terms of quality, this is a great place to go.

What about open until 10 p.m.? A few days ago, we were literally kicked out at 8:30 p.m. with the announcement: "We want to close now." A couple who wanted to eat there at that time weren't allowed in at all. Unbelievable and really not recommended for a cozy evening. Never again; there are plenty of other places that are at least open until 10 p.m. as advertised. Very disappointing.

Highly recommended! I had a hot chocolate and was served a cold chocolate. (Including a scoop of ice cream and a cone!!) Joking aside, the little accident caused my family to roar with laughter, and the food was top-notch! The view of the lake was also very enjoyable.

Kann ich nur empfehlen, wir waren an einem Sonntag da, wo es relativ voll war. Trotzdem haben wir schnell unsere Pizza bekommen und die Kellner waren auch sehr nett und höflich. Schöne Location und saubere Tische/Stühle 👍🏼

Vorab kann ich sagen, dass ich die anderen negativen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann. Der Service ist nett und aufmerksam. Die Location ist super, um auch nach oder vor dem Essen den See zu genießen. Es ist sauber, Familien-, Gruppen- & Date-Freundlich. Das Essen und der Preis ist standard. Daher kann ich das La Comedia für Gruppenreservierungen aber auch für eine schnelle Pizza nach dem Baden nur weiter empfehlen. Überzeugt euch selbst.

Unfortunately, my last experience at this beautifully located restaurant was not a positive one. The portions were too small, poorly prepared, and quite expensive. The service also left a lot to be desired; it took two requests before our wobbly table was stabilized. What a shame.

Definitely not a recommendation I've been there twice so far. Each time there was only a fraction to order. The waiters are friendly, but there are always mistakes (e.g. wrong drinks). The food is not really recommended, but rather mediocre. But the prices are pretty hefty.

We went out to dinner today and my brother proposed to his partner - and it was just perfect! The entire team was friendly, attentive and accommodating. You could really tell that they were making an effort to make this special moment unforgettable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere cozy and stylish. Thank you for your warmth and great service.

Recommended for a walk and a stop at the Italian restaurant. The lake has wonderful blue water and is livened up by the wakeboarding system. A meeting place for young and old.

Unfortunately it was very drafty inside, the ambience outside by the lake is unbeatable only in summer. The tomato soup was incredibly tasty, but the filled Gnocci Sorentina weren't convincing, they were supposed to have tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes, but then there were no tomatoes and a really spicy tomato sauce (and I often eat spicy food) with 1cm chili chunks and a whole mozzarella blob, halved in the middle. The bruschetta was a huge pinsa and not suitable as a starter, but tasty. The staff was friendly.

We got four dirty glasses during our visit. Picture shows the napkin after wiping the edges of the glass. I also showed it to the waiter. He didn't offer new glasses and drinks, he just replaced the napkin! There was a strong smell of burnt food in the room. The waiter ignored the request to ventilate. He just said that it came from the pizza oven. My pasta with salmon also tasted burnt. The other dishes were bland and bland. So the food, service and ambience are simply subpar. Things used to be much better. After the current performance we won't be coming anymore. Apparently the operators are not at all interested in the feedback from the guests. Otherwise you would have seen long ago that several other visitors had already complained about very dirty glasses. So it seems to be a persistent problem. You should also take a look at food monitoring.

The food was fine and the waiters were friendly and accommodating. However, there was a big birthday taking place at the same time, which meant that some of the waiters seemed a bit overwhelmed. It happened that reorders of drinks were forgotten, but overall the service was good. The ambience offers plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, and a cozy atmosphere. In the summer, however, we had to contend with a heavy infestation of wasps outside - the insects were constantly flying into the drinks and around us at the table, which we found annoying. Nevertheless, the view of the lake was very beautiful, especially in the evening.

Everything completely dirty Everything full of spiders and spider webs I think it hasn't been cleaned for at least 10 years. There wasn't even any still water. And it felt like everything was off from the map. There was no communication that things were out. Something else was simply put on the plate. In addition, each dish came to the table individually. They didn't even ask if the food tasted good. Here you have to be afraid of getting food poisoning.

Food was ok so far, but only the 2nd choice for 4 of 12 people at the table. Because after taking the food order it took over 5 minutes to realize that there was only pizza and pasta because there was no fish or calamari and no pork medallions! This is annoying since the reservation had already been made for a long time. In the evening, apart from our table of 12, there was only one table occupied by 4 people... you can get lost in the service and in the kitchen when it comes to what's available! By the way, tiramisu was also out! Oh yes, the toilets were also very unpleasant. This restaurant won't even be my second choice in the future!

Dirty (!) glasses that were served to us on dirty tables. All drinks were non-carbonated (Cola, spritzers, shandy). After the first complaint we were told they would bring us new drinks. After 10 minutes I went in to see what was happening - nothing. After discussing this with the waiter, we left without paying. I've never experienced anything like that. When we left, the waiter was still yelling at us.

There was no calamari, even though it was on the menu, but I ordered pizza. Pizza was relatively tasteless, unfortunately. Years ago it was really good. Maybe just a blip, I hope.

Extra location for swimming and enjoying

The food is absolutely disgusting, not tasty and completely overpriced 10 gnocchis for 19, - no service, unfortunately they are resting with their good location on the lake. Very unfortunate.

Were at the lake house for the first time today. The ambience is very nice but the food and drinks are terrible. The soda was served without carbonation and tasted as if the bottle had been open for 5 days. Strawberry ice cream sundae for €9.80 is a complete disgrace. 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream and the rest just cream. Strawberries were frozen. We didn't know that you could mess up so much with an ice cream sundae!!! Kaiserschmarrn was advertised with applesauce but served without applesauce. We cannot recommend the lake house.

Beautiful terrace with a view of the lake and wakeboarding facility. Contrary to other reviews, we found it pleasant.

Both the food and the service are not very convincing. The service is sometimes very unfriendly and unmotivated. The pizzas are quite soggy and desserts have simply been thawed from the freezer... Salad is very large and not cut into bite-sized and tastes very boring. You can eat the ice cream but it's nothing special. Unfortunately not recommended. It's a shame, because sitting by the lake like that could be really great.

After many years of experience, I can say that this is the worst Italian the Augsburg area has to offer. The food is an absolute disaster. However, the staff is even worse. The waiter is so condescending, disrespectful and unfriendly that you would never want to enter this place. I ordered grilled calamari with vegetables but got fried calamari with fried potatoes. A return was not possible. The staff is really terrible.

Could be nice, right on the lake but unfortunately very unkempt terrace, no candles at the table, in the evening you sit in the dark. There were seven of us and we couldn't eat together; the pizzas came much later and were carelessly filled. To pay we all had to go inside to the checkout like in a supermarket. Not good service. Definitely won't go there again. Price/performance is zero

I definitely stop by a few days every week, it's great.

We were only there for sundowner, so I can't say anything about the food. The ambience with the lake is actually nice, but the terrace seems very unkempt and the tables aren't even wiped down. Everything seems careless, you could do more with it if you wanted.

I was here again for the first time in years and was more than positively surprised. The food was really exceptionally tasty (the gnocchi ala Sorentina is recommended) and the service was courteous and quick. I will definitely come back. :)

Iced tea was sold out. The wrong drink came twice. Unfortunately the spaghetti ice cream machine was broken, so we ordered a Giotto ice cream sundae, which came without Giotto and nut brittle because it was sold out... The food tasted good, but unfortunately the knives are blunt.

The pizzas are very tasty, but the tomato salad is a bit of a joke, especially given the price. The attitude of the service staff also still has a lot of room for improvement.

Almost nothing going on on Thursday evening, so the atmosphere is strange. Terrace facing the lake is definitely great. Salad was really old and limp and rubbery, the service is below par. The pseudo-boss treats his staff disrespectfully and with a very derogatory tone and when it was pointed out that the salad wasn't good, the only comment was " You could have said that straight away.” An espresso would have been the least... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Pizza Margarita with garlic - unfortunately soggy and dripping with fat. Tomato Mozzarella - was served without vinegar or oil, and was only brought to the table after calling the waiter and asking for it. The service was ok, but could be better. The staff is not particularly communicative or friendly. The lakeside terrace is a beautiful location.

Phew… unfortunately you have to give this 1 star. The Wiener Schnitzel was served with fried potatoes instead of fried potatoes as on the menu. Also no sauce, ketchup... nothing... bone dry. The salad was intended as a starter and was served with the main courses after 20 minutes. We were only there because of a voucher. Never again! Prices very high for this poor quality.

My diavola pizza was carelessly topped and spicy is something else. It was all just in the middle. The taste is just average. The knives are so blunt that you can no longer cut with them. Inside there is a board with the new opening in 2016.

Top location, top panorama! Unfortunately the food was an absolute disappointment! You shouldn't order burgers from an Italian restaurant either. But what came had nothing to do with a burger. Buns dry and cold! The patties substandard and the bacon limp, rounded off with a desolate tomato and a poor lettuce leaf! There was also a type of fried potato! Was actually expecting fries! My friend grilled calamari. What came! Calamari drowned in tomato sauce! The service was super nice! He also bought us a cappuccino because of course we complained! But she should please the cook……

We used to enjoy visiting the restaurant regularly. The last time was a long time ago because of the poor quality and today was the last time. The espresso came to the table cold and the cola didn't taste fresh either. It was a shame that we came for ice cream but they didn't have a menu but only "assorted things". Because we promised our daughter we would go out for ice cream. Let's take that. There came a small truffle with very greasy cream and a chocolate ice cream that looked like it was pulling strings. There were many broken pieces at the entrance to the outdoor area. Wonderful location by the lake, but next time I'd rather sit on the beer bench at the kiosk opposite.

It is practically impossible to reserve a table by telephone because the telephone is almost never answered. Organization very chaotic, menu reduced compared to other La Commedia restaurants. The cutlery is dull and if you ask for a sharp knife, the waitress greets you in an extremely unfriendly manner. The group's managers would be well advised to be seen more often in Friedberg or to send test subjects there as guests more often. Even though the food tasted good (as long as it was warm), we won't eat there again because the price-performance ratio isn't right at all.

I ordered through Lieferando, apart from the fact that you wait 1 hour for spaghetti and a pizza even though you live 20 minutes away, I find it extremely rude that I'm now waiting another 30 minutes and can't reach ANYONE in the restaurant. In Lieferando it says that my order should arrive shortly (it's been there for half an hour). I tried to reach the restaurant 20 times and either no one answered or they hung up on me.

With wonderful weather, we were happy to sit by the lake and enjoy something delicious. We should have been warned when we got closer: there were dried plants in the pots, some of the tables hadn't been cleared and were dirty, the wicker garden chairs were frayed and wobbly. We decided to order the Kaiserschmarrn, even though we asked the waiter if it was freshly prepared and he said no🙈We wanted to give them a chance, but that was the wrong decision. Simply inedible and completely overpriced at 7 euros for such a poor product. The waiter punished us with ignorance and of course didn't give us a tip. We can only warn against eating there, everything is amateurish and loveless, just underground!

One star is still too much! A Kaiserschmarrn from the freezer for €7. We asked the service, he should have warned us about it. Therefore there was no tip. And the other reviews say what we already thought when we saw the restaurant and service.

Today we were very satisfied with the service, our food and had a very nice Indian summer day at La Commedia at Friedberger Baggersee. It may be that sometimes a table had to be cleaned first, but that happened very quickly. I find this completely normal in a busy, very popular terrace restaurant. My spaghetti carbonara was excellent. And the Torta della Nonna with lemon cream was a poem. We'd love to come back!

Wir haben leider auch ewig auf unser Essen gewartet. Gäste, die nach uns kamen, haben vor uns ihr Essen bekommen. Nachdem wir den Chef darauf hingewiesen haben, dass wir schon sehr lange warten, war er recht schnell mit meiner lauwarmen Lasagne da, die Nudeln meiner Freundin waren natürlich die falschen. Also nochmal auf die richtigen Nudeln gewartet. Die Bedingungen wissen zumindest, wie man Gäste ignoriert. Die Lage ist sehr schön.

Das Ambiente und der Ausblick sind toll. Wir hatten einen Salat und Kaiserschmarrn und war beides super lecker. Preislich war es auch in Ordnung. Auf den Service haben wir etwas warten müssen. Aber das Essen war schnell da.

Ich war mit einer Freundin dort. Wir haben beide gegessen und getrunken für ca. 44 €. Nach einer gewissen Zeit wollten wir bezahlen. Nachdem der Kellner mehrere Male an unserem Tisch leer vorbeigelaufen ist, habe ich ihn aufgefordert uns endlich die Rechnung zu bringen. Darauf sein Kommentar "das habe ich gerne, zuerst stundenlang sitzen und dann eilt es mit dem Bezahlen" . Es versteht sich, dass es dann kein Trinkgeld gegeben hat.
