Super delicious food and great service. We go there almost every time we're in Friedberg. The pasta with veal liver is particularly noteworthy: it's truly outstanding. The vaulted cellar dining room is beautiful – but can sometimes get very loud and warm.

Excellent food. I've never had to bother with the menu and have always received good advice. Very tasty fish, the chef is very focused on his guests and creates an all-around feel-good atmosphere. We've also used the delivery service several times over the past few weeks. Also highly recommended.

I ordered gluten-free penne pasta because I have celiac disease (gluten intolerance). Unfortunately, halfway through my plate, I found spaghetti at the bottom that was clearly not gluten-free! The chef just played it down and offered me a tiramisu (which is not gluten-free) as compensation. He had absolutely no idea about decent service or how to deal with intolerances. At least we weren't charged for the penne (I only ate half a portion). My family really enjoyed the rest of the meal. So, if you don't have any allergies or intolerances, it's perfectly fine to eat there; otherwise, I would choose a different restaurant!

We've been here twice already. We've always enjoyed it very much. The host is attentive and remembers people. So far, the food has only provided pleasant surprises. I'd especially like to highlight yesterday's steak. It's rare to find such delicious meat. Honestly, I wouldn't have expected it from an Italian restaurant. We'll be happy to come back and look forward to our next visit.

Well, what can I write? Many people rave about this pizzeria. I've been there three times in a year. The pizza was okay, pasta was better. But on my last visit, I was completely disappointed. I had a salad with turkey strips. And I have to say, it was a bit of a disgrace to serve me something like that in a restaurant for €13.50. Large bakeries obviously do a much better job, both in terms of taste and value for money. I was shocked by the price of water; a 0.75 liter bottle of water from a well-known brand, whose carrier costs that much, was €6. I know times are tough, the economy is up and down, but we should still keep things in perspective. After three attempts, this will not be my first choice pizzeria. And if the question arises among friends about where to eat today, I ask them not to go there again. Although the ambiance is nice, what's a bit annoying is the pungent toilet smell coming from the direction of the restaurant. Oh well, what a shame.

Wir waren vor dem ersten Lockdown begeisterte Stammgäste. Seitdem gehen wir einmal jährlich hin, um zu schauen, was sich getan hat. Ergebnis dieses Jahr im Juni: keine Verbesserung. Der Koch von seinerzeit ist weg, der/die Nachfolger: belanglos. Der Gambrinuskeller hatte einst die beste Pizza Schwabens (inzwischen Dutzendware), ein tolles, selbstgemachtes Joghurtdressig für die Salate (nicht das übliche aus der Plastikflasche) und guten Essig: nix mehr davon. Das Pils, da aus dem Fass, war an unserem (frühen) Abend abgestanden, da wäre mir eins aus der Flasche lieber gewesen. Mit der Kälte der Getränke hapert es übrigens seit jeher, worüber ich früher hinweggesehen habe, weil das Essen extrem gut war, heißt auch: toll gewürzt. Die Fischgerichte vor 2020: ein Traum! Tempi passati. Wir versuchen es nächstes Jahr wieder. Für heuer heißt es: Nothing to write home about.

We went to the Gambrinuskeller for lunch at the wedding reception. The table was already set on the terrace and even flowers were prepared. The terrace is pleasantly shaded, airy and quiet. There were several mixed starter plates as well as the a'la carte menu for seven people. Very attentive staff, greetings to Andrea and his team. We'd love to come back, greetings Tim

Today we ordered (among other things) seafood salad for delivery. The salad costs a whopping 18 (!) euros, so we were looking forward to a huge, delicious salad. What was delivered was a salad that looked pretty at first glance. After removing all the filling material in the form of mussel shells, ordinary green lettuce, yellow beets and a huge piece of lemon, it was found that the seafood had shrunk to a very pitiful, almost outrageous heap. Unfortunately, the taste of the salad was completely neutral. It was neither appealing nor tasty, but it was incredibly expensive. That was nothing at all and we are very disappointed.

The location is beautiful, the historic vault creates a really special, cozy atmosphere. Exactly what we wanted for our day. The entire team was super friendly, attentive and always available without seeming intrusive. All of our wishes were taken into account during the planning phase, and on the day itself everything worked out perfectly. The food was an absolute highlight – fresh, lovingly prepared and really tasty. The fish dishes and the fresh pasta were particularly well received by all guests. We are incredibly grateful for this great afternoon and can only warmly recommend the Gambrinuskeller to everyone - whether for a celebration or simply for a lovely evening for two. We'll definitely be back!

The ambience is simply beautiful - the historic vault creates a really cozy and special atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening. You immediately feel comfortable. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that people work here with real passion. The food was a real highlight: fresh, authentic and incredibly tasty. We were particularly impressed by the pasta and fish dishes. The wine selection also matched the food perfectly. For us it was a completely successful evening. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the Gambrinuskeller to anyone who wants to enjoy good Italian food in a special ambience!

Respect, we were on the motorway for a long time at Easter and thought we would end the day with a leisurely meal. Which in the end was a good decision, so much in advance. We were all really very satisfied. Everyone ordered different food and no one had anything to complain about. Aan de buitengevel zie je niet wat een gezellig en overheerlijk restaurant erachter schuil gaat! Wat een verrassing! We werden door de ijssalon aan de overkant geattendeerd op dit restaurant en wat hebben wij heerlijk gegeten! Teveel weliswaar maaar zo lekker! Ik hoop nog eens terug te komen hier! Eten heerlijk, bediening attent en behulpzaam! Zelfs drinken en koekjes voor onze hond! Top avond!

Had dinner here tonight and it was so delicious! Ordered prawns with extra bread in advance, I have never eaten it this tasty before! Absolutely recommended. Main course pizza and pasta...also very tasty! If you are in the area, from the outside you cannot see what wonderful restaurant lies behind the facade! Unfortunately no photo was taken!

Shift dinner tonight, great selection of Italian dishes and specialties. Food was very, very good. Mega: no network in the basement, no one was on their cell phone, which gave us nice conversations and a fun atmosphere. The host and the staff are great! Gladly again soon.

I highly recommend the Gambrinuskeller. Whether it's pizza, pasta, fish, or meat, it all tastes simply delicious! You can still go out to eat with the family without spending a fortune. Tuesdays are pizza days. Wednesdays are pasta days. The cellar vault also has its charm 🙂, I really like it. The staff is friendly. Great value for money 👍🏽

The Gambrinuskeller in Friedberg is a real tip, not just for the price-performance ratio. You can sit really well and the selection of food is great. Where can you eat and drink these days for 15-20 euros per person... and also have a clean table and nice service. Pizza from 12 euros...! The restaurant is busy, so booking in advance is advisable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant... even for several people 👍🏼🤗🍽️

I had dinner today with my mother and daughter. As an exception, we took our dog with us, who was welcomed so lovingly and was immediately given water and treated to treats. The innkeeper was funny and we had a great evening. The mussels were sensational and the heart pizza for my daughter was really nice.We'll be back soon.

From the outside the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous, but inside it is bright, friendly and beautifully decorated. The service was really good – we found it particularly nice that water was regularly refilled. We were very impressed by the food: the pizza and pasta were really tasty and freshly prepared. The dessert was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. The Hugo was homemade and tasted great. Overall, a great experience – we would love to come back!

Let the personable and friendly chef choose your menu. You can trust him completely. I've experienced a lot, but this menu blew me away. In addition, all the employees are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the ambience is indescribable and unbeatable. We come from Northern Germany but we will make a stop here in the future. what sets my favorite Italian apart: Good & personal service, excellent food, whether pizza, pasta, FISH, or anything else... so: 1 A cuisine, whether to take away or eat there. My favorite place is usually free even during “my times”. You can have a conversation undisturbed and without a lot of noise and hustle and bustle around you. The seats and chairs are comfortable, the tables are clean, and I particularly like the "high-quality" cutlery, which feels good in the hand (I don't like cheap cutlery in restaurants, which is light and doesn't feel good in the mouth). "Andrea" has already provided us with catering to Augsburg several times, and the price and performance are great. All of my friends from outside ALWAYS want to go to “Andrea in Friedberg” when they are here. PS: we need your catering again in April...

Every year we come back to the birthday parties and enjoy the food, the family service and the great hospitality. Always fresh and different daily menus and also great desserts with cream on top. Definitely recommended.

The food is very tasty and the service is polite, attentive and even ready for the odd joke. Classic Italian cuisine, very finely implemented. We were a slightly larger group for lunch. We made our reservation by phone the evening before and it was completely uncomplicated. The restaurant is incredibly cozy. We sat in the vault in a side room. The service is attentive and orders were taken quickly. The head of the house recommends daily fresh dishes personally at the table. The entire company was taken care of quite quickly and at the same time. No matter whether meat dishes, pizza or pasta dishes. Everything was super delicious. We asked several times whether everything was OK. I have one tiny point of criticism. With all due respect to the exuberant customer friendliness, I would have liked the empty plates not to be cleared away immediately. As a result, the conversations at the table were repeatedly interrupted at short notice. We would have been completely okay with the dishes being put away at the end when everyone is finished. But this rustic, cozy restaurant is definitely recommended. And the price is right too. We will definitely make it one of our favorite restaurants.
