As always, it was a successful evening. The house's recommendations regarding drinks and the composition of the dishes were excellent and tasted delicious. There were about 16 of us in the back of the bar on a Friday evening. So we had almost everything to ourselves and the seats were comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent, the starter platters were excellent and could almost have replaced the main course. The rest of the evening was relaxed with dessert and drinks. Big praise to the boss, the waiters and the kitchen, who all contributed to a very successful evening. Clear recommendation to visit this restaurant as a group or as a couple.

In short: the best Italian restaurant far and wide! Top quality, from the wood-fired pizza to excellent meat dishes and everything that comes from the sea. The kitchen's skills are particularly evident in the fresh fish dishes. Andrea and his team always manage to make you feel like you're on vacation. But even then it's hard to find better Italian cuisine...😜👍

We found this restaurant by chance while on vacation. We would like to order capaccion as a starter. Chef also recommended us mussels. We are excited about it. The main course (beef with noodles and fish) is also very good and tastes absolutely great. We can only recommend the restaurant if you are in Friedberg.

I've been there several times and every time the food is great, as is the service, which is super nice and funny. And the espresso last time was on the house, which isn't always a given. Simply a great restaurant!

We used to go to the Gambrinuskeller very often, so we went there again last week with our children. We reserved a table at 5:45 p.m. When we arrived on time the gentleman told us directly that we could only stay until 7:15 p.m. Why don't you provide such information when you make your reservation? Then we would have gone somewhere else because we ultimately wanted to sit for a while. Well, we swallowed it and stayed. We ordered an appetizer platter and a very small plate came with almost nothing on it. No seafood, cheese, salami... just a slice of roast veal as vitello tonnato, a slice of carpaccio with two mini pieces of parmesan, a slice of melon with ham and two pieces of zucchini... that's it. And that for €15! Well, we weren't thrilled. Then it was time to pay. The bill came to €165, which I paid by card. The printout from the card machine suddenly said €181 and I asked where the difference came from. The waiter says that's the 10%. I asked which 10%? Then he said that was the tip. Without asking, he entered a 10% tip into the device. I then had the payment canceled and demanded the correct payment, which he then did. Truly a meal to forget! Never again! It has now been more than a month and there has been no response since my review. That probably says it all about how guests are treated here and how complaints are handled! Absolutely not recommended! The following correspondence arrived on Facebook after weeks of waiting. An excellent and authentic restaurant! The food is hard to beat in terms of cuisine and the service and ambience are simply great. Whether on the sunny terrace or in the attractive vaulted cellar, you feel very comfortable and are guaranteed not to regret a visit.

Whether fish, meat or vegetarian - there is something for everyone here. The owner and his team are very friendly and approachable, you always have a great time there! The prices are more than reasonable for what you get and the special ambience in the beautiful vaulted cellar gives the restaurant a romantic and at the same time noble touch with Italian flair. BEST restaurant! Especially the fish and the fresh starters (mussels/octopus) are very delicious. Andrea, the innkeeper, is passionate about it and the quality is at the highest level. It is and remains our favorite restaurant. You don't have to travel around the world, the most beautiful restaurants are often right under your nose. Unbelievable - we ordered a pizza over the phone today. Only cash was accepted upon collection. Unfortunately I only had the debit card in my pocket. Instead of selling us the pizza, the card payment was not accepted. It's sad that the food is thrown away... a note when calling or on the order slip would be useful!!!

Ende letztes Jahres waren wir nach unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit das erste mal im Gambrinuskeller und es war für jeden von uns hervorragend. Nach unserem Umzug nach Friedberg sind wir jetzt regelmäßig im Gambrinuskeller und sind jedes mal sehr zufrieden. Egal ob eine schnelle Pizza oder auch eine ausgefallene, sehr frische Hummer-Pasta. Bislang war alles ausgezeichnet. Andrea ist ein toller Gastgeber und sein Team ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden auch weiterhin regelmäßig im Gambrinuskeller einkehren.

Als erstes das Ambiente: sehr cool tolles Gewölbe. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Der Service: total freundlich, sehr nett und umsichtig Das Essen: sehr sehr lecker, wirklich sehr gute Küche. Stern hätte es noch gegeben wenn man nicht gleich zur Kasse gebeten wird, nur weil man nicht gleich noch was bestellt, und noch ein bisschen ratschen will.( Man hätte ja vielleicht etwas später doch noch einen Schluck getrunken) .Empfanden wir bisschen als Rauswurf. Also ein Tipp zum verbessern.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Jedoch mussten wir sehr lange warten bis wir an unseren Tisch durften und haben uns zwischen den Kunden die ihr Essen zum Mitnehmen abgeholt haben etwas fehl am Platz. Ambiente war nichts besonderes aber in Ordnung.

Es ist einfach nur Traumhaft, Zauberhaft , Entspannt, Ruhig, Gemütlich , Harmonisch, Friedlich, Atmosphäre. Wann wird dort behandelt wie ein Familienmitglied und wie ein Promi man merkt dort einfach dir Liebe im Restaurant man geht rein und soweit man drinnen ist existiert die Welt draußen nicht mehr und auch keine Sorgen und kein Stress . Wir haben hier früher gerne am Pizzatag Pizzen geholt. Leider haben wir bereits diverse Male die falschen Pizzen bekommen und dies erst zuhause bemerkt. Als wir dies das letzte Mal telefonisch reklamieren, wurden wir aufgefordert die falschen Pizzen zurückzubringen (was wir selbstvertrauen taten!). Es gruselt mich seitdem der Gedanke, dass diese Pizza dem nächsten Kunden serviert werden könnte. Seitdem bestellen wir nicht mehr hier...

A truly great restaurant in an unassuming building in Friedberg. Entry through a side door along the sidewalk and down a few stairs to an unbelievably bright and cheerful restaurant in a cellar . Ambiance is amazing , furnishings are delightful and the food is top notch . Servers are extremely helpful and friendly led by Andrea who went out of his way to make us comfortable and very well fed . The Penne Arrabiata was great , my wife’s Pizza Verdura was also very good and the Insalats Mista was super . Wish we were here for another night so that I could go back and eat there again .

Die Spaghetti Bolognese (die ein „richtiges“ italienisches Restaurant niemals auf der Karte hätte, Ragout-Sauce wird in Bologna zu Tagliatelle gegessen) erscheinen mir Mikrowellen-heiß, die Ragout-Sauce ist mäßig, die Nudeln viel zu weich, Löffel wird ungefragt mitserviert. Die Vier-Jahreszeiten-Pizza tatsächlich aus dem Steinbackofen, sehr knuspriger, nicht durchgeweichter Boden, Belag mit Dosenware und sehr Käse-lastig und fett. Die Linguine mit Scampi, Steinpilzen und frischen schwarzen Trüffeln wieder enttäuschend, uns erschienen die Trüffel nicht frisch, sondern wie glasige, eingelegte Scheiben aus dem Glas (und welcher Italiener ließe sich das feierliche Zeremoniell des Trüffel-Hobelns am Tisch vor allen Gästen entgehen?). Die gegrillte Seezunge am Tisch gekonnt filetiert, dann auf dem nicht vorgewärmten Teller gestapelt und ungefragt mit mäßigem Olivenöl übergossen. Der Fisch mit penetrantem Knoblauch-Geschmack (für Knoblauch-Geschmack brauche ich keinen Edelfisch), dazu lauwarmes gedünstetes Gemüse, wahrscheinlich aus dem Convenience-Beutel, kurz in Fett geschwenkte Kartoffel-Brocken und ein elendes Salat-Häufchen mit übel nach Konservierung schmeckendem weißlichem Dressing.

Speisen sehr gut, aber: Wir (4 Personen) bestellten neben Pizza und Calamari, 2x Dorade für je 17,80€. Der Kellner (= Chef) empfahl daraufhin eine "Dorade für zwei". Auf dem Rechnungsbeleg wurde dann für die "Dorade für zwei" nicht 2x 17,80€ berechnet, sondern sage und schreibe 70€. Reklamation zwecklos. Ähnlich bei den Getränken: Hier bestellten wir u.a. zwei Weißweinschorlen. Auf dem Rechnungsbeleg wurden dann 4x Weißweinschorlen berechnet, mit der Begründung, dass es je ein 1/2 ltr. war. Kein Hinweis bei der Bestellung, bei der wir für 2 Pers. je EINE Weißweinschorle bestellt hatten. Bei einer ebenfalls bestellten Apfelsaftschorle funktionierte das tadellos, eine bestellt - eine berechnet.

Während sich hier eine Vielzahl von guten Bewertungen tummeln, die wir leider ganz und gar nicht nachvollziehen können, wurden wir bei unserem Besuch auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht... Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem alten, dunklem, muffigen Kellergewölbe. Unsere Kinder haben sich bei Betreten bereits unwohl gefühlt- für Familien kann ich diesen Ort definitiv nicht empfehlen. Während wir auf die Pizzen warteten, konnten wir beobachten wie das Personal ablästerte über manche Kunden unterhielt (parlais l'italiano! ;-) Auch die Pizzen überzeugten uns geschmacklich nicht - der Boden war leider nicht knusprig aus dem Steinofen, sondern matschig. Als wir beim Bezahlen darauf hinweisen, wurden wir nur forsch angesprochen. Definitiv kein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und gutes Essen geniessen! Schade!

Egal ob Pizza, Pasta, Fleisch Fisch, Salat, Antipasti oder Desert - meine Frau und ich wurden im Gambrinuskeller noch nie enttäuscht. Zur Auswahl stehen leckere italienische Klassiker, aber immer auch saisonale Gerichte. Die Pizza ist knusprig und kommt aus einem Steinofen, die Pasta al dente. Fisch wird im ganzen gegrillt und am Tisch filetiert. Das Personal ist sehr entgegenkommend und für Extrawünsche hat man immer ein offenes Ohr. Die Preise sind absolut fair und passen zur Qualität und Ambiente. Egal ob im Lokal im schönen Gewölbekeller oder coronabedingt zum abholen, es schmeckt immer lecker und wir bleiben Stammgäste! Absolute Empfehlung!

Non è gestito da italiani, cuoco compreso. Nessun italiano. Si spaccia per tale. Qualità davvero bassa. Calamari fritti senza impanatura e neppure la farina. Solo un poco di pane grattugiato. Davvero bassa qualità ma con prezzi medio alti. Il caffè decantato poi … solo sapore di bruciato

Wir waren an einem Abend dort, wo der Service total den Überblick verloren hatte mit dem Resultat, dass wir über 2 Stunden auf unser Hauptgericht warten mußten. Grundsätzlich kann so etwas mal passieren, aber dann sollte man doch wenigstens die Gäste mit einem Glas Prosecco oder ähnliches bei Laune halten. Aber es gab nur eine Entschuldigung vom Ober. Als Vorspeise hatten wir u.a. Vitello Tonnato. Bei jedem anderen Italiener bekommt man hierzu ein Brot, hier gab es kein Brot, der Ober empfahl uns ein Pizzabrot für 4,50€ dazu zu bestellen. Hauptgerichte bestellten wir von der speziellen Pfifferlingekarte, aber bei beiden Gerichten waren die Pfifferlinge zu lange in der Pfanne und teilweise schon verbrannt.

Das ist jetzt die beste Pizzeria in Friedberg, am Wochenende unbedingt vorher einen Platz bestellen. Bei schönem Wetter schöne Terrasse auf dem Rathausplatz. Gutes Essen, nette Bewirtung - danke Andrea

Super Zubereitung von Pasta, sehr gute Pizzen und auch der Fisch ist Top. Einfac h leckeres Essen. Sehr kompetentes und freundliches Personal. Nur die Wartezeiten bis das Essen serviert wierd ist auch überdurchschnittlich lang.
