The dishes are fresh, seasonal and prepared with great attention to detail - you can clearly taste the Mediterranean influences. Yes, the food is a little more expensive, but you can tell in the quality and taste, absolutely justified! The warm atmosphere is particularly great. You not only feel welcome as a guest, but almost as if you were part of a large family. Children are not only tolerated here, they are expressly desired! You can order yourself, no matter how long it takes. In the lovingly furnished children's play area there are not only lots of toys, but also small vehicles that they can drive around with. A changing facility is also available - so that both moms and dads can use it comfortably. There are additional vehicles to ride outside and on some days there is even a bouncy castle! A wonderful place to enjoy family time together. We always enjoy coming here and have found our absolute favorite place in the See Bar!

Impossible behavior on the part of the waiter. We sat at a table that was still dirty for probably 15 minutes, we weren't offered a card and we were completely ignored. When we then politely asked for a menu, the next table was preferred, even though people sat down later. The daily menu was demonstratively pulled past us, completely provocative!!! The ambience of the shop and the food looked good, but the waiter with glasses and an orange sweater ruined everything! Impossible, insulting and demeaning… Shame about the shop and the certainly good food…

The See-Bar Restaurant on Lake Baldeney is a real recommendation for connoisseurs! I had the pleasure of trying the pumpkin cream soup and the goose breast - both were absolute highlights. The pumpkin cream soup was wonderfully creamy, perfectly seasoned and with a subtle, slightly sweet note - ideal for the autumnal season. The goose breast was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. There were also wonderfully coordinated side dishes that rounded off the dish perfectly. The ambience right on Lake Baldeney is unbeatable – whether inside with a cozy atmosphere or outside with a view of the lake, you immediately feel at home here. The service was very friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely come back and am looking forward to more culinary highlights. A big compliment to the See-Bar team!

Contrary to some previous speakers, I think the price-performance ratio is TOP, considering that you have high quality on your plate. Here, more emphasis is placed on class than quantity. If you're expecting a restaurant with antibiotic schnitzel for €10 and overflowing plates, you're in the wrong place. The See-Bar is a serious restaurant, very cozy even in winter. During this time the duck is highly recommended ;)

We sat here on the terrace late this afternoon in great October weather with a view of Lake Baldeney. We were greeted warmly and served nicely. Well attended, still very pleasant atmosphere and not crowded. Terrace overlooking the water, under trees, simply cozy. The food was perfect without exception. The pilsner is fresh, the coffee is a dream. The staff was very accommodating. We haven't felt so well looked after in a long time. Thank you for a successful Mother's Day. We'll be back

We had an exciting experience of a special kind: The SeeBar organized a cooking event with fusion cuisine for our private company. The guests were enthusiastic and the next event is planned. Durch Zufall am See von unserer Rundfahrt abgebogen und uns auf die Terrasse gesetzt. Dann gelesen... Fischsuppe, und die war sehr gut. Dann obendrauf noch Muscheln, auch sehr gut. Hähnchenbrust wohl auch gut, aber die Bedienung. Tut mir jetzt leid,..... sehr freundlich aber langsam und etwas Schusselig. Was machen die im Sommer, bei voller Terrasse ?

The See-Bar is unfortunately closed due to a lack of staff, but you can sit very well at Lake Baldeney right on the water, we go there often, the staff is friendly, and we always like the food!!!

We got married last Saturday and celebrated afterwards in the See-Bar. Ms. Ksoll is incredibly nice, we discussed everything with her in advance, put together the buffet ourselves and booked the “worry-free wedding package”. Great process from start to finish! Chilled coffee drinking in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, there are personal deficits now. EDIT: Again significantly better in every respect. So it will be something again. EDIT2: Unfortunately, things have gotten worse again. Service is tried hard, but a 1 hour wait for a normal dish is more than borderline. If the meat is served rare instead of medium, then that's embarrassing. The ambience and surroundings are chill, but unfortunately the food is downhill.

We ate a cordon bleu with fried potatoes, small. Salad and a chicken bowl (salad) as the second dish. The meals are sufficiently large. The fried potatoes seem freshly made. The Cordon Bleu seems to be an average convenience product. Unfortunately, both salads were not crunchy and were swimming in dressing. A pity. The service was attentive but distant. A farewell greeting seems to be unknown here.

The prices for food are quite high and the portions are quite small. It appeared that I had ordered a senior or children's plate. The service staff had their first day and was therefore nervous, but did their job quite well. Sitting by the lake makes the atmosphere pleasant. We were there as a group of 8 people and will probably not hold our meeting there again. According to the staff, the kitchen is open until 9 p.m., but staying further is not a problem as the outdoor bar was also open, even if we, and we were not the only table that was still occupied, were unrigged free tables and the retraction of the associated umbrellas, indirectly indicated that the end of the workday was approaching. This is an unpleasant feeling for the guest. So we decided to leave instead. A pity.

Haben eine wunderbare Geburtstagsfeier mit super Grillbuffet gefeiert. Tische und Deko waren liebevoll dekoriert. Kellner/in sehr zuvorkommend und immer alles im Blick. Gesamtes Personal stets freundlich. Alle Getränke waren gut gekühlt, Essen reichlich und alles sehr lecker. Chefin super nett, freundlich,hat uns bei der Auswahl des Buffets gut beraten und unterstützt. Auch gab es für die Geburtstagskinder eine extra Überraschung, die sehr gut angekommen ist. Wir würden immer wieder dort feiern, da unsere Gäste vollständig begeistert waren und wir werden Euch weiter empfehlen.

The ambience is wonderful, the food and drinks are at their best, and if the head waitress (?) were to behave towards the guests in a manner that corresponds to the other services, I would even give it more than five stars. We celebrated our wedding in the See-Bar a week ago and our expectations were even exceeded. Both the very warm owner and the whole team made our party perfect. The decoration, the food and the service were a dream. We are incredibly excited and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this beautiful day. A very clear recommendation for people who want to eat and/or celebrate deliciously in a very cozy and warm atmosphere.

Unfortunately there is currently a large construction site in front of the door, which makes accessibility difficult. Otherwise a normal shoe store.

We were guests at the busy See Bar on a Saturday evening with a group of 20 people. None of us could understand the points of criticism already mentioned. The prices: Pay attention to the location and ambience, then they will explain themselves. The quality: Apart from the tough beef fillet strips in a salad (the dish was exchanged immediately after a complaint was made), there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The approximately 20 dishes were served quickly and almost at the same time. The service: Competent, fast and friendly. Conclusion: gladly again.

An excerpt from the health authority about this restaurant speaks for itself: The hand basin, the soap dispenser and the immediately adjacent wall surface were contaminated with old product residue. There was pork stored in the freezers that had a best-before date of January 1, 2023. The inspection was on April 4th, 2024!!

Local has its best sides behind it! ! ! The view of the lake doesn't help either. Menu seems overpriced. Everything is untidy, old, run down. Cleanliness could be better. A pity. Definitely won't be coming back.

A very nice, cozy restaurant with a diverse selection of delicious dishes. The price-performance ratio is right. There is something suitable for every age. As a family, we found it very nice that a changing area and a nursing area as well as a play area were also included. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The ultimate thing is the ambience right on the water.

If you want to experience all the horror of German gastronomy and the lack of service - this is the place for you! A run down restaurant, dirty tables, very long waiting time for food of 40-50 minutes, small portions and prices like in a restaurant from the Michelin Guide. At these prices you would expect at least an interesting presentation, but here not only are there small portions and mediocre taste, but also a food presentation like in an ordinary snack bar. The waitress who originally took the order was good. 40 minutes after the starters (a sausage and cheese platter for €18) she asked if everything was OK with us. She was very surprised that we had ordered main courses even though she had written down the order herself. The fish was oversalted, the young potatoes had no crust, and no one asked about the doneness of the steak. As is usual in Germany, only one napkin per person. After the starter the cutlery was not changed. The peak of epicness was when another waitress came to check us out. She received €150 in cash against a bill of €112.90 and asked: Is that right? And in general I “love” it when the waiters bring the bill, say the amount and stand over you. But not everything is bad in this restaurant! There is a view of the river and you can see the wasps that live on the terrace of this restaurant, but that's hardly the fault of the staff😁

We celebrated our civil wedding back then. Prices that were not agreed upon were paid in the end - a totally unreliable, cheeky and stingy owner and if you look at the news I get even more annoyed - moldy food, rat carcasses, rat droppings... Nothing will come of the store with such a tour!

Ich bin seid zehn Jahren sehr oft hier in der seebar . Fühle mich immer wie in Urlaub. Immer lecker frisch gegessen. Bin sehr kritisch , konnte mich bis jetzt nie beschweren . Komme immer wieder gerne in die seebar mit Familie und Freunden .

Somehow there was room for improvement in everything. I had a veal burger. The meat and salad were great, but sandwiched into a cheap bun. The one waiter was buttering up the rest of the service team the whole time. All of this somewhat overshadowed the visit. We could have used children's chairs. I don't know if high chairs are available. At least none were offered to us. The view of the lake is nice, but you definitely pay for it. With 2 adults and 3 children we left almost 100 euros without dessert or starter.

Ate there very tasty, prices are very reasonable in my opinion. We will be back.

Had a great grilled plate (beef, Swiss and lamb steak) with fresh salad and delicious salad dressing. Meat was cooked perfectly... Simply delicious. Plus great service with a view of the lake. Only the ambience may lack a consistent line, but each area is great in its own right.

Great view of the lake. Nice, relaxed service. My bowl was really delicious, but felt a bit expensive. The ginger orange tea was very tasty, although not hot. I sat in the winter garden. It's cozy, but it's always very cold because the service often leaves the door open. Luckily there are warm blankets at the table and the option to turn on a heat lamp directly above the table. Very good solution. Drinks and food came very quickly. I'm sure it's even nicer there when the weather is warm.

Sehr gute Location um entspannt an der Ruhr lecker zu essen. Der Wirt kümmert sich prompt und freundlich um die Gäste, und der Ausblick ist wunderbar. Allerdings ein Managementproblem: Das angestellte Personal ist nicht unbedingt aufmerksam und gästeorientiert.

Direkt am Baldeneysee gelegen uist die Ee Bar eine top Adresse für ein schönes gemütlichliches Essen. Hauptkarte ist übersichtlich aber die Tageskarte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Waren des öfteren schon dort und haben immer ganz hervorragend gegessen. Zutaten und Zubereitung ist absolut top! Preis Leistung passt absolut. Nette freundliche Bedienung. Alles bestens mit herrlichen Blich auf den Anfang des Baldeneysee in Kupferdreh.

0815 Schnitzel. Unterdurchschnittliche Qualität...

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der See-Bar gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden, das Buffet war super lecker, die Location und die Dekoration des Raumes traumhaft. Die Lage am Baldeneysee macht die See-Bar auch außerhalb einer großen Feier zum perfekten Ausgangspunkt oder Rastplatz für Spaziergänge, Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren am Baldeneysee.

Essen nur von weitem gesehen. Sah aber gut aus. Die Kellnerin war richtig pfiffig und aufgeweckt!! Gerne wieder

Vorweg: die Servicekraft war sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Das Essen unterdurchschnittlich. U.a. Flammlachs mit Drillingen Kräuterquark und Salat. Alles wurde sehr übersichtlich auf einem Teller serviert…..auch der Salat, welcher sehr sandig war. Es knirschte ekelig zwischen den Zähnen. Der Flammlachs war nicht wirklich geflämmt. Für EUR 25,90 erwarte ich in einem Gartenlokal mehr.

Schöner Ort zum entspannen mit Blick auf den See. Super netter und schneller Service! Wir hatten, für den kleinen Hunger, einen Vorspeisen Teller und den gebackenen Schafskäse. Sehr, sehr lecker!

Sehr schöne Lage, leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung

Leider muß ich sagen das alles nur Schein ist. Alles tk ware. Es wird in der Küche verfeinert so das der Eindruck entsteht das es frisch ist. Auch habe ich Ratten gesehen die draußen vor der Küche rumlaufen und es wird nichts dagegen unternommen.

Die Dorade mit Grillgemüse vom BBQ war top! Und was an den Nachbartischen angeliefert wurde sah richtig gut aus! Eine Empfehlung!

Micos Seebar ist am Baldeneysee gelegen, die Seebar kannman gut von Kupferdreh gut erreichen

Sorry, dass ich das jetzt hier schreiben muss.. ich frage mich ernsthaft, ob der Koch eigene Kreationen mal probiert? Ich hatte heute ein Rote Bete Carpaccio gehabt, leider für mein Geschmack ungenießbar gewesen. Unter carpaccio verstehe ich etwas anderes, stattdessen weich zekochte Rote Bete bestreubt mit Feta Käse, geschmacklich eine pure Katastrophe, ein paar Salatblätter , geröstete Pinienkerne die leider nach allem anderen geschmeckt haben, nur nicht nach frisch gerösteten Pinienkerne, unter knackig verstehe ich etwas anderes. Das schärfste war, die Bedienung räumt unsere Teller ab und fragt nicht mal , ob alles in Ordnung gewesen ist, einfach wortlos Teller mitgenommen. Sorry Leute, ich bin zum ersten Mal bei euch gewesen und werde leider nichts mehr bei euch zum essen bestellen.

Ich war zu einem Beerdigungskaffee vor Ort. Hab also nicht wirklich einen Eindruck. Auf der Terrasse ist es wirklich schön.

Ohne Reservierung Tisch in der ersten Reihe bekommen, Tagesempfehlungen vom sehr aufmerksamen Kellner teilweise angenommen, Rest á la carte bestellt. Alles in Allem ein gemütlicher Abend mit lecker Essen und Trinken. Gerne wieder und gerne genau so. Danke.

„Mittwochs Barbecue und Livemusik“ - weder war Livemusik noch hat da tatsächlich jemand draußen gegrillt. Die „Spareribs“ - man darf die Rippchen mit seltsamer Konsistenz dort eigentlich nicht als solche bezeichnen- waren lediglich gegart, fettig und kaum genießbar. Uns war am Abend und in der Nacht schlecht. Insgesamt schmuddeliger Eindruck. Um etwas zu trinken ist es dort ok, Essen würde ich dort nicht mehr.

Wir waren aufgrund von Empfehlungen vor Ort und haben das Tagesangebot spareribs bestellt. Die ribs bestanden quasi nur aus fett und waren ungenießbar! Die dritte Person hatte einen Salat bestellt, welcher ebenfalls nicht überzeugen konnte, aber besser als die rips waren. Zum trinken zu empfehlen, aber essen würde ich dort nie wieder.

Schönes Restaurant am See mit Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Leckeres Essen. Wir hatten Doeade mit Spinat und Bratkartoffeln und Padta mit Trüffel. Mega.

Hat etwas von einem gehobeneren Biergarten, wir waren nachmittags dort. Die Essenspreise sind schon in der Regel ab 12 Euro aufwärts, z.B. Currywurst, Pommes, Salat, Mayo und bisschen Mangochutney auf der Soße für ca. 12 Euro. War sehr lecker, besonders wenn man Rucolasalad mag. Die Getränkepreise fand ich voll in Ordnung. Die Mocktails waren lecker, aber der Virgin Swimmingpool war sehr süß. Ungewöhnlich fand ich, das diese mit Milch statt mit Sahne zubereitet wurden, dadurch war die Konsistenz mit der Zeit etwas komisch geworden. Alles in allem aber ein schöner Aufenthalt. Personal sehr freundlich, Umgebung sauber und man kann den Baldeneysee sehen und entlang spazieren.
