Delicious food, attentive, fast service, everything top-notch. Hard to find anywhere else in the region. A definite recommendation!

A really great restaurant! The Swiss house in Lehr impresses with its cozy ambience in a rustic mountain house style. When the weather is nice you can also sit and eat outside. The menu offers a great selection of German, Mediterranean and European dishes, with delicious seasonal specialties such as asparagus or game as well as excellent steaks. There are also good options for vegetarians and vegans. The service is super friendly, attentive and professional – you feel completely welcome. Whether for a romantic dinner, a family meal or a celebration: absolutely recommended! It's best to reserve in advance.

Shortly before the kitchen closed, we received a warm welcome and were able to enjoy an excellent menu. All service members made a great effort and we felt very comfortable. The food was lovingly prepared and was extremely tasty. It was worth every penny. Rustic atmosphere with excellent cuisine and warm service.

Very dignified country house style restaurant, the asparagus was excellent and the hollondaise sauce was also a delight. For me the first asparagus this year, on April 8th on the way to the North Sea, also very well located in terms of transport.

Today, after a break of several years, we were at the Schweizer Haus again. In our opinion, the quality of the food was disproportionate to the steep price. There's a lot of bells and whistles on the menu, and little of what you would expect in a “Swiss” restaurant. The service was friendly, the ambience - apart from the entrance area - was a bit shabby and cluttered with all sorts of decorations and kitsch. We don't know whether it's because of the exorbitant prices that it's now easy to get a table and that various tables were empty even on the weekend. Things were different a few years ago.

Food is good to very good. A little too much garlic for my taste, but you can live with it. Service very attentive and nice.

Without exaggeration, the service, the ambiance, and of course all the food we ordered were excellent, harmonious from the welcome to the exquisite china and glassware selection. An upscale restaurant that definitely invites repeat visits... Thanks to the kitchen...

The best German cuisine I have ever enjoyed besides Omi's. The food is delicious, served in good portions and you could eat enough vegetables alone. The halls are specially prepared for celebrations and the waitresses are nice, funny and helpful. It's not just the food there, individual requests are also taken into account in a friendly manner. We like to drive 140km for a meal, it's really worth it! Always happy again!

Die Bedienungen sind immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und witzig. für Feiern wird der Tisch besonders hübsch hergerichtet. Und erst das Essen... es ist exzellent! Der Apfelrotkohl schmeckt fast wie bei Oma. Das Hirschragout ist zart, geschmackvoll und superlecker. Selbst am Beilagen-Gemüse könnte man sich sehr lecker sattessen. Während einer Familienfeier bekamen wir eine Variation aus mehreren Nachtischen geboten: Mousse au Chocolat, Creme Brulé und Zitronensorbet... es war himmlisch, sowohl jeder einzelne Nachtisch für sich, als auch die die Gesamtkomposition in Kombination. Dafür fahren wir auch gern 140 km für ein Essen. Es lohnt sich wirklich! Nur zu empfehlen. Wichtig ist auch noch die Spargelzeit. Hier gibt es ein Spargel satt Buffet. Wenn ihr in Lehre seid, probiert es auf jeden Fall!

A cozy atmosphere, very nice and attentive staff and simply good food. In summer you can also sit outside. There is a large parking lot and it is always full. Be sure to reserve a table in advance.

Wir besuchen das Schweizer Haus schon seit Jahren und können es immer wieder nur weiterempfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und immer appetitlich angerichtet, die Bedienung immer freundlich und gut gelaunt. Es werden auch mal Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Wir werden das Schweizer Haus auf jeden Fall weiterhin gern besuchen.

Herausragende Küche, in der mit qualitativ hochwertigsten Zutaten gekocht wird. Herausragend ist auch das Servicepersonal, so etwas findet man heutzutage woanders fast garnicht mehr. Ich komme gerne und regeläßig zurück zum Schweizer Haus.

Top Essen: heiß, optisch und geschmacklich sehr gut, frische Zutaten. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service - nächsten Freitag gerne wieder!

Spent a lovely evening here and I have to say it wasn't the last. The food is perfect and sufficient, unless you are a glutton like me then you have to order something more. 🤣 In short, everyone who likes German cuisine will find what they are looking for here.

Das Essen ist wie immer auf einem ausgezeichneten Niveau, der Service ist super freundlich, da stimmt einfach alles. Ich denke, es ist bezeichnend für das Haus und seine Atmosphäre, dass fast die komplette Belegschaft trotz Corona und Gastro-Krise immer noch da ist. Ein großes Danke an das gesamte Team für einen rundum gelungenen Abend.

Service was very good even though it was very busy. The food came quickly and was of very good quality. The ambience is harmonious but it's a matter of taste. One star deducted - at a “Swiss” house I expect Rösti as the main course and cheese fondue and raclette on the menu. A Swiss beer would also be a nice gimmick.

As always, excellent farm duck... were very satisfied.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche. Mein Steak (Rare) war auf dem Punkt genau, sehr zart und überaus schmackhaft mit ein sehr guten Pfeffersauce. Das Fischfilet meiner Frau war ebenso genau nach ihrem Wunsch zubereitet. Da sich die Preise in einem angemessenen Rahmen bewegen, können wir das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Einfach nur gut, Service und vor allem das Essen sind hervorragend. Wir können das Schweizer Haus nur jedem empfehlen.

I've lived in the region for over 10 years and have never been here. Big mistake. Super friendly and courteous staff, cosy and authentic atmosphere and delicious food. Even for me as a herbivore there was enough choice and the falafel were delicious. Will definitely be back and 100% recommendation.

We have always experienced excellent service and very good food here at various family celebrations. Above all, we would like to emphasize and say thank you that special requests such as a vegan meal were implemented spontaneously and still deliciously. This is not a given everywhere. High praise and a heartfelt recommendation!

I've already spent some great evenings there. Everything really comes together in this restaurant. The very good food, the professional and at the same time loving care from the staff, who we have gotten to know over the years (Mr. Cordes always takes charming care of us). The restaurant is also tastefully decorated. Very happy again👍🏻

We were here today for the funeral feast with a small group of 9 people. We were served very friendly, the atmosphere was very rustic and cozy! We all felt very comfortable and the food was really a poem - every plate was empty except for the last bit. All in all, I have to say that the prices are definitely justified for the friendly service and the excellent food. If we're ever out and about in this corner of the country again, we'd love to come by again. Thank you!

The restaurant is decorated in a rustic/chic atmosphere. Located outside so it is quite quiet. The food is a little more expensive but always tastes very good and the dishes change seasonally The toilets are always clean and stylishly furnished.

A stroke of luck while in transit. Even though the kitchen was still closed, we got the best salad ever! Unfortunately, opening times are not correct on Google. The kitchen will be open again in the evening from 5:30 p.m.

We were passing through from Berlin to Bonn and were looking for a way to find a decent meal close to the route. Google then recommended this restaurant to us. Unfortunately the kitchen was still closed. Since the bar was open, we wanted to have a coffee and were offered the dessert menu. The waiter then made an agreement with the kitchen and offered us a mixed salad with chicken. We gratefully accepted. The chicken salad was excellent! There was also freshly toasted bread. They really sweetened our journey home and we would like to thank the kitchen and the waiter for their friendly and courteous hospitality. That was anything but self-evident! See you again with regular opening hours. :)
