We ate here during the Christmas season. The food was wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is always extremely courteous and competent, and the food is fantastic. We always love coming back here.

We stumbled upon the Swiss House by chance while passing through this summer and were absolutely delighted. The decor alone is perfect, everything neat and clean. But the highlight is the food – I've rarely eaten such perfectly seasoned food in a restaurant (usually, the seasoning is rather subtle, but here it's absolutely spot on). If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

A very nice restaurant, great atmosphere, super friendly service. I had venison leg with red cabbage and croquettes, and for dessert, Kaiserschmarrn with cranberries and vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious. We'll definitely come back.

This is simply fantastic. Best duck ever, including perfect side dishes, and super friendly service – just how it should be. It's our go-to place for Christmas. This time the duck was simply unbeatable. Bring on Christmas! 🎄

It was absolutely delicious. Apart from the service, which was excellent. I had a schnitzel with dumplings, my friend had the duck breast (I've never eaten such delicious duck breast!) and the beef roulades. Even though we were just passing through, we'll definitely be back. The service was absolutely top-notch!!!

This was our first time at Schweizer Haus, and we were absolutely thrilled. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a cozy atmosphere the moment you walk in. The service was very attentive and courteous, yet unobtrusive. The menu offers something for everyone, including vegan options. Because of my food intolerances, I had to ask our waitress a few times, but she always answered with a smile. As a complimentary appetizer, we were served bread with (incredibly delicious!) duck fat. And to my great surprise, I received a small basket of gluten-free bread. 😃 That's true customer service, and it definitely deserves to be emphasized. Absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. My only "criticism": I definitely didn't have enough of that amazing curry sauce on my plate. 😋 We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back. 😊

We've been to the Schweizer Haus many times and have never been disappointed. Last night's meal was absolutely delicious again. It's so nice that the red cabbage, dumplings, and especially the gravy come in separate little bowls. Unfortunately, these days in many restaurants, everything is just slopped onto the plate, so the food ends up swimming in sauce. This way, everyone can help themselves to as much as they like. The service was very friendly and attentive. Admittedly, later in the evening, we sometimes had to wave the waiter down to order more, but that's perfectly understandable. We always enjoy coming back and are happy to pay a little more for such excellent food. Thank you so much!!

The most delicious Gambas al ajillo I've ever had in my life. This is not even joking and I swear on god. I LOVE a lot of garlic & big shrimps and this is what it is. 🧄🦐😘 I live far away like It takes 4 hours by car but I must to go back to here and eat it.

We held our wedding reception at the Schweizer Haus and are very happy with it. All our requests were met or alternatives were found. The service is very friendly and even up for a bit of fun. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant, even if you're just dining out. I highly recommend the Schweizer Haus!

Very cozy, attentive service, very tasty food

This was our third visit to the Schweizer Haus and we were once again very satisfied. Friendly service, beautifully presented, and delicious food. The ambiance is quaint, cozy, and dated, but aesthetically pleasing and not intrusive. Even when it's very busy, you can still have a good conversation. The waiters were always friendly and attentive. Something that's sorely lacking in many restaurants these days. The portions are large and plentiful. Occasionally, you have to wait a little longer for your food, but let's be honest, that can happen when it's busy, and everyone wants fresh, hot food. (Besides, you can also use the waiting time to chat in peace.) We only had one dessert, the Kaiserschmarrn, which we also really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So delicious. We're looking forward to the next time.

We made a spontaneous reservation today, October 3, 2025. From the reservation to our visit, everything was excellent! We received a very friendly welcome from the service staff. The table service and advice were of a high standard. The food was professionally prepared and tasted more than five stars! A huge compliment to the entire team 🙏🏻😊 We'd love to come back soon. Highly recommended!

Very good service, the food is really delicious, prices between 24 and 40€ for very good quality

We stopped here after a long journey from Usedom and had a delicious meal. The food is very good, home-style cooking. We had the currywurst and the chasseur schnitzel. At first, I wasn't sure if the currywurst would be filling, but surprisingly, it was. The salad comes in a separate plate, and the portion of fries is decent. However, you really have to bring your time; this isn't fast food; the food is freshly prepared. The restrooms are also very clean, and everything feels upscale. The prices are also appropriate. Nevertheless, it's highly recommended.

I went there for dinner today, September 6, 2025, and what can I say? Even though the building is a bit dated, it's still very cozy, and I would eat there again anytime. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food itself is delicious, and the portions are perfectly generous. The prices are absolutely fair! I would definitely recommend this place.

Schweizer Haus "Das Restaurant" Lehre, Germany Is that even possible?! September 2025 Friendly staff, cleanliness, but the food? I ordered the 400g Argentinian rump steak. I got a meatball. Not a slice of meat with a small fat edge, but a light, textured stripe of fat. It wasn't a rump steak. It was supposed to be cooked MEDIUM. It wasn't cooked medium-rare inside, pink, but red and raw. What didn't the chef understand? I didn't complain so as not to spoil the mood of the small birthday party. The prices were great. The steak with French fries, which were served in a bowl that I had to share with another guest, cost €48. Awesome! Now things are getting funny at the end! If I had ordered the baked potato instead of the fries, or 2 small baked potatoes (available as an option), I would have had to pay an additional €2. (-; 2 small potatoes, no fries, but a €2 surcharge for the potatoes! Definitely not going back to this place!

An absolutely fantastic restaurant! We ate there over the weekend and it was truly fantastic. From the absolutely delicious "Greetings from the Kitchen" to the desserts, everything was fantastic. My father couldn't stop raving about it. The food is definitely on the more expensive side, but it's completely justified. The food is so freshly prepared that you definitely won't leave the restaurant hungry. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and charmingly designed, so everyone has plenty of space. It's also very clean, and the fresh flower arrangements on the table add a lovely touch. For a lovely evening or celebration, the Schweizer Haus is at the top of my list from now on.

These days, you have to keep your eyes open when looking for a German restaurant. We found it with the Schweizer Haus in Lehre. Delicious food, great service—what more could you want? We'd love to come back!

This restaurant is in a class of its own. Highly recommended, with its excellent cuisine. What's also highly commendable is the great attention paid to animal welfare, which also impacts the quality of the food. Add to that the very attentive service—what more could you ask for? We had an absolutely fantastic evening at the 'Schweizer Haus' and can recommend it without reservation. We were a group of eight, and everyone was delighted from start to finish. The service was first-class – the staff were very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The food also exceeded our expectations. The starter was a delicious soup with perfect seasoning. The main courses were a dream – I had the beef fillet, which was grilled to perfection. My friends were also more than satisfied with their dishes, from fish to pasta. The desserts were the crowning glory. The crème brûlée was creamy and had a perfect crust. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening with great food, outstanding service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The food is indescribably superb, you just have to eat it. The restaurant is immaculately maintained and in excellent condition. Great outdoor area. A return visit is guaranteed. The food was excellent. A 10 out of 5. You can't do better than this. We've never eaten better than here. Kudos to the kitchen! Unfortunately, the service was mediocre. The drinks didn't arrive until after the meal (30 minutes). When I asked for the bill, it took another 30 minutes. I would still recommend everyone to come here.

A really great restaurant! The Swiss house in Lehr impresses with its cozy ambience in a rustic mountain house style. When the weather is nice you can also sit and eat outside. The menu offers a great selection of German, Mediterranean and European dishes, with delicious seasonal specialties such as asparagus or game as well as excellent steaks. There are also good options for vegetarians and vegans. The service is super friendly, attentive and professional – you feel completely welcome. Whether for a romantic dinner, a family meal or a celebration: absolutely recommended! It's best to reserve in advance.

Shortly before the kitchen closed, we received a warm welcome and were able to enjoy an excellent menu. All service members made a great effort and we felt very comfortable. The food was lovingly prepared and was extremely tasty. It was worth every penny. Rustic atmosphere with excellent cuisine and warm service.

Very dignified country house style restaurant, the asparagus was excellent and the hollondaise sauce was also a delight. For me the first asparagus this year, on April 8th on the way to the North Sea, also very well located in terms of transport.

Today, after a break of several years, we were at the Schweizer Haus again. In our opinion, the quality of the food was disproportionate to the steep price. There's a lot of bells and whistles on the menu, and little of what you would expect in a “Swiss” restaurant. The service was friendly, the ambience - apart from the entrance area - was a bit shabby and cluttered with all sorts of decorations and kitsch. We don't know whether it's because of the exorbitant prices that it's now easy to get a table and that various tables were empty even on the weekend. Things were different a few years ago.

Food is good to very good. A little too much garlic for my taste, but you can live with it. Service very attentive and nice.

The best German cuisine I have ever enjoyed besides Omi's. The food is delicious, served in good portions and you could eat enough vegetables alone. The halls are specially prepared for celebrations and the waitresses are nice, funny and helpful. It's not just the food there, individual requests are also taken into account in a friendly manner. We like to drive 140km for a meal, it's really worth it! Always happy again!

Die Bedienungen sind immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und witzig. für Feiern wird der Tisch besonders hübsch hergerichtet. Und erst das Essen... es ist exzellent! Der Apfelrotkohl schmeckt fast wie bei Oma. Das Hirschragout ist zart, geschmackvoll und superlecker. Selbst am Beilagen-Gemüse könnte man sich sehr lecker sattessen. Während einer Familienfeier bekamen wir eine Variation aus mehreren Nachtischen geboten: Mousse au Chocolat, Creme Brulé und Zitronensorbet... es war himmlisch, sowohl jeder einzelne Nachtisch für sich, als auch die die Gesamtkomposition in Kombination. Dafür fahren wir auch gern 140 km für ein Essen. Es lohnt sich wirklich! Nur zu empfehlen. Wichtig ist auch noch die Spargelzeit. Hier gibt es ein Spargel satt Buffet. Wenn ihr in Lehre seid, probiert es auf jeden Fall!

Herausragende Küche, in der mit qualitativ hochwertigsten Zutaten gekocht wird. Herausragend ist auch das Servicepersonal, so etwas findet man heutzutage woanders fast garnicht mehr. Ich komme gerne und regeläßig zurück zum Schweizer Haus.

Wir besuchen das Schweizer Haus schon seit Jahren und können es immer wieder nur weiterempfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und immer appetitlich angerichtet, die Bedienung immer freundlich und gut gelaunt. Es werden auch mal Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Wir werden das Schweizer Haus auf jeden Fall weiterhin gern besuchen.
