Cozy atmosphere, the food is also okay, friendly service and a sufficient selection of food.

At 7 p.m., there are almost no spaces. The parking lot is covered in snow, and no one even bothered to clear it. In the morning, it's a complete disaster—many people can't leave because of the snow and ice. The cost is 20 euros, of which 7 euros is for the restaurant itself, not for the store, etc. At the restaurant, you have to pay an extra 12 euros or more to get anything, even remotely. A shower is 4 euros with a card and 3.5 euros with cash. The toilet is 1 euro with a card. The shower isn't bad, but there are no mirrors in the stalls; only the common area with sinks.

I was at the Shell truck stop in Braunschweig on January 5th, 2026. €20 for the parking ticket, of which only €7 was for food and drinks. That really shows you what truck drivers work for. Never again.

A fantastic rest stop with numerous charging stations from various providers. The 400 kW charging point from EnBW is very helpful in winter. The restaurant is a great place to pass the time while waiting for your charging station. It's very cozy, the service is friendly, and the menu is extensive. The gas station's shop is also well-stocked. The restrooms are still staffed and therefore very clean. I'm happy to pay 70 cents for that. If you don't fancy German food, you can choose from a pizzeria, Burger King, KFC, or a Chinese takeaway. Since the rest stop is quite spacious, there's also room for a short walk with your dog. Thank you for the excellent design.

Very good meals, especially the pork tenderloin with potato croquettes, cooked vegetables, and a delicious mushroom sauce that complemented the tenderloin's flavor. Great atmosphere. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's worth deviating from the highway for a meal.

The food is good, and the locals are coming here. Which is always a great sign. They even had a delicious Christmas dinner.

We usually avoid rest stops and truck stops, but this time the stop was well worth it. Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly staff, and delicious food. The wait time was also perfectly reasonable for such freshly prepared meals. Excellent value for money.

I'm a driver. I paid for parking and took my dinner with me to the car. I didn't eat it, but they threw pieces of food that someone else had already eaten into the container. I don't recommend this place.

A truly awful place! I'd give it -100 stars if I could! The food arrived cold, it was inedible, and there was a foreign object hidden in it that definitely didn't belong! I wanted to order something else. But the waiter said the kitchen was closed, there was nothing left, and then he charged me, which I found absolutely outrageous. I then showed him a voucher from my last visit, and the rude reply was that it was only valid for one month. Even though the waitress on my last visit said there was no expiration date, as my colleague who was with me confirmed. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place in the slightest! If you enjoy cold food with foreign objects in it, then by all means, bon appétit!

The car park is average. The price is 16 euros, plus 7 euros for the restaurant. One thing really pissed me off: it's a paid toilet with a guard stationed there 24/7 who doesn't accept cards. So, if you need to pee and don't have a euro, screw it. That tin soldier won't let you through.

Right next to the highway, great. I didn't eat there. I just had to fill up the tank once for €100 and then pay again for the toilets. I'll never understand that. The facilities are a bit dated.

Always excellent. Attentive and friendly team. Delicious food. Unfortunately, on Friday evenings after 7 pm, most of the tables were already unavailable (chairs were stacked on the tables and the floor was already being mopped). This somewhat diminished the cozy atmosphere in the decorated dining room.

The parking lot is big, but it's hard to find a place, the parking cost is 16e, you get a coupon, then 7e can be spent at the restaurant next door, the food is tasty and large portions, a security guard drives around the parking lot

Friendly service and delicious food.

It seems to be a known place for locals, plenty of people there for lunch. It is nicely decorated for Christmas and the staff is friendly. We tried some sausages and and beer, the dishes were good, except the French fries.

Quick and good food while the car charges.

We often go there for a coffee or cappuccino while the car charges. It's very pleasant there, and the service and friendliness are outstanding. Sadly, that's become rare in Germany, but you can still enjoy it there. The food is also wonderful and tastes especially good with the lovely seasonal decorations.

After having our initial coffee and pastry at the bakery close to our hotel, this place was halfway to our destination and we ate here just about every morning. The staff was incredibly helpful. They have menus in multiple languages, and they were very forgiving of my attempt at the German language. The food was really good and it was a great value for the amount of food that you get.

November 15, 2025. A good car park. It seems to have everything drivers need. Water is also available for a fee: 50 cents per 5 litres. Showers are 3.7 euros, toilets are 0.7 euros.

The service is simply outstanding – the staff is always friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Everything is superbly organized, especially the restrooms: always clean, well-maintained, and pleasant to use. We are a small group of people with disabilities and travel frequently. At this Shell station, we always feel welcome and respected – thank you so much! Other gas stations could really take a leaf out of their book. One small suggestion: It would be great if the accessible restroom could be opened with a Euro key. That would give us even more independence and dignity. A great rest stop with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, and the price-performance ratio is excellent! The service is very friendly, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this truck stop!

I asked the restaurant to exchange my parking ticket (7€) for a coffee. The bartender charged me for whole bean coffee from the machine, but poured me instant coffee from a thermos. What a sly Arab... The coffee went in the trash; I wasn't in the mood to argue.

I've never encountered more pleasant staff and a more pleasant atmosphere in Germany. Everything was just superb!

For me, this is one of the nicest restaurants I've ever encountered at a truck stop 😁👍. Nicely decorated, there's a breakfast buffet on weekends, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We love stopping there when we drive along the A2.

In the peco station, there is theft like in the jungle in the toilet. The man who stands guarding the toilet at night steals money. He says that you can only pay with a card during the day and only in cash at night and steals the change that he has to give back to the customers. And the boy at the house has a terrible attitude, speaks very arrogantly and seems like I bother him if I ask him something. I do not recommend this peco station! Terrible!

I arrived on Friday at 9:20 PM. There were surprisingly plenty of seats, with a 15.32€ tip for a 45-cubic-meter room. Showers were 3.50€, toilets 0.70€, and they said water was extra, but I didn't need it. The washing machine was 4€, and the dryer wasn't working at the time. Everything was very clean. In the afternoon, I went to the restaurant and gave two tickets for 7€ each. I got a very large cutlet with mushroom sauce, salad, and French fries. I ate my fill, it was very tasty. There's a menu in Russian. The woman was very nice and pleasant, and I give her special respect. Everything was top-notch. 5 stars for everything. I'll definitely be back. 👍👍👍

Nothing to complain about, service and food are good, toilets are clean but the toilet paper is from the 18th century and is still made of paper and could be changed.

Everything was top-notch: good food at a reasonable price, a nice, rustic, clean atmosphere, and all the staff were friendly. These cutthroats with their ready-made meals should take a leaf out of their book at these "TOTALLY Energy-charged" truck stops!

The parking lot is excellent, but it needs to be marked—then there will be more cars parking. It's all chaotic, and some people are just double-parking. How long is a restaurant ticket valid if I didn't have time to use it because I left early? Can I use it next time?

A great find at a highway exit on the way back from Berlin? A place to eat and refuel. We were warmly welcomed, even though we didn't speak German! Very good service and very good food for a reasonable price! And much cheaper than on the highway. A must-do.

I always stop here for a break on my way to the UK and visit the restaurants. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Menus are available in various languages. I recommend it.

Huge parking lot, for 14 hours you pay 20€, of which 12 are for food. Large portions.

Definitely the best food selection at this parking lot. The dinner was delicious, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. It was nice that you could pack a cake and take it with you later. The only downside is the lack of original Coke; the one on site is awful. After paying for parking, you get a voucher for 7 euros.

I'm really disappointed. The southern-style waitresses prefer to sit outside and smoke, the gyro is burnt, and if you say something, they argue. It's sad what this place has become. This was my last stop here.

The restaurant at the Braunschweig Ost truck stop offers a fairly large selection of pork schnitzels – including some still made "Gypsy style" – as well as classics like currywurst. So, they don't care about the language police, which is very appealing. The prices are comparatively reasonable for a rest stop. However, the food is unspectacular and rather average in terms of taste. The service is friendly, but the ambiance is noticeably dated. The option of outdoor seating under a roof is practical. A positive aspect is that this is an alternative to the usual fast-food franchises along the highway.

The Autohof costs 16 euros, and we have 7 euros for the restaurant, which is definitely very tasty. The restrooms are cash only. The photo shows a Strammer'SS Max breakfast, nutritious, with brown bread underneath.

A strange place. The paid toilets are OK, as usual. But the prices are different, displayed in different places. Eventually, the guy stands at the terminal and pays his fee. They can come to Orlen and admire it.

Like every year, we stopped here on our way back from vacation. Such nice people who always greet you with a genuine smile, the ambiance is exactly what we like; you just feel really comfortable 😀. We only had coffee and sandwiches, but it was all perfect. Many thanks to the great team, and hopefully only guests who follow the signs on the doors regarding smiling 😉

We had a breakfast here on the way from Amsterdam to Turkey. Food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The prices were fair. The only downside is toilet doesn’t belong to the restaurant and you have to pay only in cash. My sons loved here so much that they asked me to make this restaurant as our traditional first stop each and every summer. And I accepted.

I can recommend the restaurant at the rest stop. Very friendly service, excellent food. Homemade goulash soup. Pasta omelet just like grandma used to make! The restroom costs 70 cents, but it's clean. I even took a photo.

If you want to eat well in a nice atmosphere, you should definitely stop here. It's very popular with us long-distance drivers.
