Zum Krug in Lehre

Hello 😃 We (3 adults) went to the Krug for dinner while on vacation. The service was excellent, the landlady was very nice, we had a lot of conversation with her, and the chef even came to the table to ask if everything was OK. Since we had read the review beforehand, we also wanted to try the pork knuckle. It took a while to arrive, but we were told that beforehand, as it was freshly made. The courtesy of the staff was also top-notch. We'd happily go back. Prices for 3 people (3 knuckles, one soup, and 6 drinks) were around €90, so totally reasonable. PS: There's plenty of parking.

We had a table reserved for 6 pm today, which was confirmed by email. Unfortunately, we arrived at 5:50 pm to find the door locked. After a while, a child informed us that the staff was sick. It would have been nice to have been informed of this beforehand. We ended up eating somewhere else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, as the customer service was very poor.

Absolutely fantastic. Heidi & Harry are a fantastic team, the food is of the highest quality and super delicious. Absolutely fair prices, German cuisine at its best! It's truly a stroke of luck for the region that Harry is back here as a chef after working at Paulaner in Wolfsburg. We now eat there regularly. Thumbs up in every respect!

A very cozy village restaurant. We've been here several times in quick succession and have always been very satisfied. Last time we had delicious kale with Bregenwurst (a type of sausage) and Kassler (smoked pork loin). Highly recommended, especially considering the price.

An absolute insider tip; I haven't had such good German food at fair prices in a long time. However, it was a bit chilly, so the ambiance only gave it 4 out of 5 stars. We'll definitely be back!

Just right for us who like good home-style food. Varied offers, depending on the season. Nothing to complain about. Always my pleasure.

We only had one beer, but the (mostly German) dishes at the neighboring tables looked good. However, the prices are quite high for a village pub. The beer selection is limited; for example, there are no dark beers. It was also quite chilly inside, which didn't contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. Otherwise, the ambiance was rustic and the service was friendly and attentive.

Really recommended, the food was very tasty and the service was also very nice. The meat of the pork medallions was extremely tender and well seasoned and the homemade spaetzle was very good.

The jug really surprised us. We came here spontaneously because we were looking for another village inn. But we have found a new favorite place. The food was really very good, good hearty just as expected. The meat was very tender and the sauce was well seasoned. The staff was very very friendly. You immediately feel as if we were regular guests. Keep it up and we'll be back.

Quaint village restaurant with delicious home cooking and other seasonal dishes. Asparagus eating 1a 👌. Always well attended, fair prices and friendly staff. Always happy 👍

We spontaneously went there by bike. We had crusted roast and Jägerschnitzel. Schnitzel was ok, the crusty roast was more like an XXL pork belly, with a dollop of sauerkraut and fried potatoes (extra charge €1.50) not really a pleasure. A lot of fat for a lot of money, the dish cost €19.50+€1.50=€21, so the price/performance ratio isn't quite right, you shouldn't forget, this is a small village, not city prices!!! The service was friendly and the beer was well chilled. Maybe we'll try the currywurst again on our next visit!! Nice atmosphere in the beer garden!

The hall is great for celebrating, you can rent everything there, kitchen fridge etc

The food is always delicious and you feel warmly welcome. People ask friendly questions, you get recommendations and you still find the coziness of a rustic restaurant here.

Gemütliche Dorf Kneipe und Bezahlbare Preise. Leckeres Essen gibt es auch noch dazu.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Mittagessen. Freundliches Personal. Jeder hatte ein anderes Gericht, keine langen Wartezeiten, alles kam zur gleichen Zeit, alle waren mehr als zufrieden. Die Desserts haben das Essen abgerundet. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Jederzeit zu empfehlen, wir kommen bestimmt gern wieder.

Wer die gute alte Dorfkneipe mit leckerer deutscher Küche bevorzugt ist hier incl. Sehr freundlicher Bedienung genau richtig

Super leckeres Essen, reichliche Portionen, schöne Bierauswahl und die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Schön das nach einiger Zeit Leerstand so ein hervorragendes Lokal hier reingekomen ist. Die Ente und der Hirschrücken sind sehr empfehlenswert.
