We've been here several times, always for birthdays or other occasions, and we're always satisfied, so we give it a 5*****. Today, however, we found the owner's mood a bit stressed and not particularly friendly. It happens sometimes; you don't always have a good day. But that's not my fault 😅 I always arrive in a good mood as a guest. The young lady who served us was very friendly and calm. The food was delicious and arrived promptly after ordering. The prices have been raised considerably, especially for drinks. Sure, inflation, etc. Everyone has to watch their backs, but €4.50 for a small cappuccino is very expensive. And admittedly, it wasn't prepared well. €6.40 for a double espresso. That's pretty steep. Even a 0.4l Coke for €5 is still a good price. Perhaps some of the profits will be invested in the interior in the future, as some of the chairs were so worn that the upholstery was visible. We'll definitely be back, but the positive impression was somewhat dampened today. Good luck 🙏

A very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was delicious and seasoned with love. They served the most delicious Cretan potatoes I've ever eaten.

We're absolutely thrilled; they put a lot of love into the details here. The appetizers are delicious, the tomato sauce with the baked feta is really well seasoned, unlike what you'd expect from other restaurants. The Cretan potatoes were the best I've ever eaten, and then they even gave us free panna cotta for dessert. Truly amazing. We went home full and happy.

We have been ordering from El Greco for years and have always been extremely satisfied, until today. The portions have shrunk, there is no tzatziki, which was usually always included, and the price-performance ratio for the salad is also overpriced - you can expect more at €13.50. The fries were also very dark and crispy. Unfortunately we are not satisfied today.

100/10 The best Greek in the area. The staff is super friendly and always up for fun. The food tastes incredibly delicious and is always served hot and quickly. We've been getting her takeaway food for years now, as there aren't any proper Greek restaurants in Wolfsburg. Food is very tasty and the portions are good. Everyone is very nice and you also get good service in the restaurant.👍🏻 Stay the way you are. 😃 If something goes wrong, you are always ready to make it right. Also when it comes to implementing special requests. By the way, I can only recommend schnitzel gratinated in Metaxa sauce. 👏🏻😄

Family-run company. Everyone was super nice. We ordered an Artemis plate, with some lamb and gyros, fries and tzatziki. Not too spicy and not too salty but still very spicy and tasty. Portion okay. Also lamb plate gyros metaxasauce is always excellent. You can't go wrong. We've also had food delivered for a celebration. All guests were enthusiastic and satisfied.

The service was really very nice. The quality of the food was good, but the portions were rather small compared to the price. The feeling of hunger is gone, but you don't really feel full. Positive: When you go out to eat in the evening, the food doesn't bother you so much because it's relatively little. I have never seen such small pieces of Suflaki meat.

My wife and I both love Greek food and a few years ago we found the best Greek place in our opinion. The dishes are freshly prepared, the meat is of very good quality, the gyro skewer is layered and seasoned by yourself and you can simply taste it in every bite. The sauces are of course rich, but there are no greasy eyes if you order a pan, which also speaks for the freshness. The service is always world class and you just feel comfortable and at home. Thank you very much and keep it up.

You feel like you're in a snack bar because the whole counter area is full of people picking you up, you can definitely solve it differently... the food was delicious but very expensive for the really small portion, which is something I'm used to with Greeks 😄

We had reserved a table for 4 adults and 2 children for dinner. The table was too small for 6 people. We sat very closely. The atmosphere was very unpleasant. You were observed while eating by people who wanted to pick up the food they had ordered. By the way, we would actually have been happy about an ouzo or the small free dessert. Especially since others got this.

Sehr nettes Ambiente. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und das Essen war sehr lecker. Trotz gut besuchtem Restaurant wurde das Essen schnell serviert. Zum Abschluss gab es ein kleines Dessert vom Haus. Sehr nette Geste. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben uns dort mit Bekannten getroffen. Leider hat der Wirt es mit dem Mehrkosten Ausgleich übertrieben. Die Preise anheben und Gleichzeitig die Portionen verkleinern kommt beim Gast nicht gut an. Meine Frau hatte einen Teller mit Gyros und Leber und war mächtig enttäuscht über die Portion ich hatte eine Gyros Pfanne, die war ok. Also passt Preis/Leistung nicht bei allen Gerichten. Schade, wir treffen uns dort jedes Jahr und wir waren das erste Mal enttäuscht.

Selbst 1 Jahr später, Top 👍 Richtig gutes Essen und verdammt guter Service. Sehr sehr liebe Inhaber und ich hoffe, daß sie weiterhin so gutes Essen machen können. Wir waren vor einem Jahr schon Mal dort und es ist gleichbleibend alles top. Wir kommen wieder.

Die Portion war ausreichend, jedoch klein für ein Griechen (ich bin anderes gewohnt). Tzatziki muss man zum Gyros dazu bestellen, da es keins auf dem Teller direkt gab. Jedoch war eine spaße auf dem Gyros. Das Tzatziki war geschmacklich und größentechnisch eher 4/5 Sternen.

Wie immer sehr leckeres Essen und sehr netter Service. Ein Ministern Abzug, weil es durch die nachvollziehbare hohe Belegung immer sehr voll und durchaus lauter ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Leider nur okay, Je nachdem was man bestellt ist es wirklich lecker oder sehr enttäuschend. Leider war mein Bifteki sehr trocken und Metaxa Souce war leider sehr sehr wenig. Die Gyrospfanne war aber sehr lecker.

Es war wie immer sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind für gute Esser absolut ausreichend. Der Vorteil, es bleibt wenig über und man kann sich hinterher auch noch bewegen.

Ein tolles Restaurant und super liebes Personal! Allerdings finde ich den Preis für einen Salat ziemlich übertrieben. Ich hatte mir 2x Krautsalat bestellt zum Mitnehmen und es war wirklich nur ein kleiner Beilagen Salat den man normalerweise ohne Aufpreis zum Hauptgericht dazu bekommt. Für diese zwei kleinen Salate musste ich knapp 14€ bezahlen,das hat mich wirklich sehr enttäuscht und das werde ich nie wieder machen.

Super leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung! Unser Lieblingsgrieche in der Umgebung. Besonders zu empfehlen ist auch der Nachtisch :)

Essen mittelmäßig,Service eher langsam.Das Restaurant war nicht voll belegt u.wir haben trotz allem 30min.auf unsere Speisen warten müssen.Hatte nicht nach der Rechnung gebeten,wurde aber beim Servieren des Desserts gefragt,ob ich alles zusammen zahlen möchte und ob in bar oder mit Karte.Empfand ich als unhöflich.

Tijdens reis even gestopt in dit dorp om hier te eten. Erg vriendelijke mensen in de bediening. Eten was erg lekker, alles leek vers bereid. Na hoofdgerecht goedgevulde maag, toch nog gratis dessert van de zaak. Erg leuk en attent. Aanrader!!.

Gyros war leider sehr trocken und etwas dunkel. Geschmacklich OK. Leider scheint die Qualität in letzter Zeit nachzulassen. Hoffentlich besinnt man sich wieder auf alte Zeiten und versucht nicht alles mit einem Nachtisch aufs Haus gut zu machen.

Waren bis jetzt 2x zu Gast. Das Ambiente des Restaurants gefällt uns sehr gut. Hell, lichtdurchflutete Räume und typische griechische Dekoration. Große, überdachte und von drei Seiten nahezu geschlossene Aussenterrasse, wo man auch bei schlechterem Wetter gut sitzen kann. Die Bedienung ist außerordentlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte ist groß und abwechslungsreich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Als Gastgeschenk gibt's den typischen Ouzo und auch einen Nachtisch (bei uns ein kleiner Pudding mit Karamellsauce). Bei unserem ersten Besuch hatten wir eine Platte für 2 Personen, beim zweiten Mal normale Tellergerichte. Alles hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Zu 18:00 vorbestellter Tisch wird nicht zugeteilt - bei zwei freien Tischen für je 4 Personen. Aufforderung erhalten zu warten - vorne an der Tür und nicht am Tresen. Später kommende Gäste erhalten den freien Tisch. Nasenfaktor oder ist deren Geld mehr wert als meins. Geht gar nicht. Meine Familie und ich sind uns einig. Da war unser Lieblingsgrieche. Wir waren hier Anfang des Jahres zu einer Feier eingeladen und total angenehm überrascht! Seit den kamen wir häufig wieder. Es ist absolut empfehlenswert zu reservieren. Wer es mag sollte auf jeden Fall die gebratene Leber versuchen, wird auf den Punkt gebraten und sofort serviert.

Super Essen, sehr reichliche Portionen mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Vor dem Hauptgang gibt es eine Suppe und einen Salat und das alles zum sehr guten Preis aus der Karte.

Alles TOP. Die Speisen sind nicht nur lecker sondern auch authentisch und mehr als ausreichend. Man merkt das dies ein Familienunternehmen ist, denn die Jungs und Mädels sind aufmerksam und haben Spass am Arbeiten. Wir wohnen nur paar 100 Meter entfernt und gehen gern spontan lecker Essen im El Greco.

In gepflegten Räumen wird man freundlich und recht flott bedient. Das Essen ist reichlich und gut. Ein Lokal zum Wohlfühlen und zum Sattessen.- Telefon. Tischbestellung ist ratsam.

Hier läuft alles Hand in Hand. Dass El Greco "ausgezeichnet" ist findet man schnell selbst heraus, haben andere aber auch schon herausgefunden. Ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis rundet den Eindruck ab: sehr freundliche Bedienung, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Irgendwann ist das Lokal dann auch voll und es lohnt, zu reservieren. Klar, dass wer Pech mit dem Platz hatte frustriert ist, aber das geht wohl nicht anders, denn mehr Gäste würde die Küche nicht vertragen. Es soll alles so bleiben, wie es ist!

Wir waren eingeladen, um einen runden Geburtstag ordentlich zu feiern. Das Lokal ist sehr gut geeignet für eine Gruppe von ca. 50 Gästen, das Buffet war super lecker mit vielen verschiedenen Speisen, auch später Kaffee und Kuchen sehr gut, aber ganz besonders war der Service. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr aufmerksam, stets freundlich und hilfsbereit und erfüllen auch ausgefallene Sonderwünsche. Wir haben diesen Abend in der familiären Atmosphäre des El Greco sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort Mittagessen und es hat uns wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir werden dort zukünftig öfter einkehren. :-)

Wir hatten vor einigen Monaten einen bestimmten Tisch vorreserviert. Der Tisch war bei unserer Ankunft anderweitig belegt. Ein anderer Tisch für 6 Personen war nicht reserviert. Auf Rückfrage, wurden wir barsch abgewiesen. Wir sind seit einigen Jahren immer wieder ins El Greco gegangen, aber soetwas ist uns, auch in anderen Lokalen, noch nicht passiert.
