Food ok, service top, ambience so-so

I've been a Schweinske customer for 40 years—including the first one in Hamburg—but this was THE BEST SCHWEINI EVER! Forty years, no lie... Chapeau! You can turn a SCHWEINI into a Kasseler Deluxe Burger (cucumber, tomato, remoulade, and Kasseler), and all at an unbeatable price (€4.10!). A fresh, extra, free bun from the superior Schweinske range with remoulade on the side. A latte cup. All in all, a lunch for around €10. Awesome. Thanks!

The food is plentiful and delicious. The staff is always cheerful and reliable. I highly recommend the Schweinske in Norderstedt.

I was absolutely thrilled! The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and arrived quickly. The portions were generous, and the value for money was absolutely spot on. The staff was friendly, attentive, and immediately made us feel at home. The cozy atmosphere, in particular, made the visit very pleasant—perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

We visited this evening for the first time. The food and service were excellent, everything. The only thing we found awful was the extreme noise level in the restaurant. Horrible. Unfortunately, this is a reason not to go back. They cut corners on soundproofing, a shame.

To sum it up... simply the best pork of all. The food is amazing and always prepared with love. The staff are excellent, whether at the counter or in the waiting area. Always on the ball and super friendly. The terrace in summer is a definite 1. The entire ambiance is cozy and inviting. You just have to feel at home. We call it our second living room.

Guys, you absolutely have to go there, not only is the food great, thanks to the kitchen, also the girls are incredibly nice and friendly, you just have to feel good there

Excellent Super nice Schweinske! After having to find an alternative to the closed restaurant in Elmshorn and being disappointed several times in Henstedt-Ulzburg, we found our new favorite Schweinske here in Norderstedt. The staff is always cheerful and accommodating! The atmosphere is cozy morning, lunch, and evening. Keep up the good work! PS: It's great that the breakfast menu has been updated to its "old style"! But that has nothing to do with the location.

Delicious schnitzels and burgers in many variations. The service was extremely friendly and accommodated our group's numerous special requests with a smile. The ambiance perfectly matches the menu, and the furniture is high-quality. We went back the very next day.

Service a little on the slow side in general but they understood we needed children’s food fast and arranged that brilliantly. Chicken was a big hit with my children and the portions are very generous.

We're in Norderstedt for three days and already know Schweinske from Hamburg. We were very satisfied here, too. Delicious food, very friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. I'm in a wheelchair, and that wasn't a problem here; there's just no toilet for me. It wasn't a problem, though ☺️ Our dog was there too 😀

Super friendly waiter, and as always, delicious if you like hearty food. Parking isn't easy, but we were lucky and were able to park right next to the restaurant. The decor is very cozy and not too kitschy.

We had a fantastic meal here! The service was quick and personal (the lady in question heard us conversing in Dutch and immediately asked if she should continue in English, which I've never experienced before in Germany! Absolutely fantastic). The portions are generous, the menu offers a more than adequate selection, and the quality is superb. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, it was incredibly loud. I'm not particularly sensitive, but when customers at the next table shout swear words, even my 10-year-old shakes his head and wants to leave, the waitress didn't do anything about it, since we knew each other. Unfortunately, she also came to the table extremely often. It seemed a bit "too much." We just wanted something to eat in peace after a long car ride. It's a shame it had such a neighborhood feel.

Great shop and such friendly staff, we'll be back. I do have one small criticism, and I don't mean it in a bad way, but please use more real whole-wheat rolls; the white stuff isn't tasty.

Very nice service and really delicious food

Seven of us had breakfast here one Sunday at 10 a.m. Ordering took a correspondingly long time. Shortly before 11 a.m., when we got our food, the place was packed. And even though I like the ambiance, it was pretty annoying to have a couple sitting right behind me. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We even got a bit more than we ordered. Conclusion: Very pleasant place, friendly staff, and quick service. At a reasonable price. However, you do have to make a reservation and be comfortable with crowds if you want to have breakfast here on a Sunday.

Positive: Service was great. Breakfast was actually great too. What I see as negative here: The rolls are very soft, you'd think they were milk rolls. Not the slightest bit crispy, crunchy enough to really bite into. You can't cut through them with a knife; it's best to pull them apart with your hands. They should consider making the rolls crispier.

I really like Schweinske on Ulzburger Straße. The food is mostly rustic, delicious, and quick. The service is extremely cheerful, friendly, fast, and attentive. I especially like the currywurst with fries; it's absolutely delicious. But the farmer's breakfast or the Wiener Schnitzel are also top-notch. The value for money is always absolutely reasonable. There are few parking spaces, and they're usually only on the street "Weg am Denkmal." If you like my review or found it helpful, I would appreciate a like.

The food and service are, as is typical for Schweinske, beyond reproach. The ambiance is too modern for me. I've known and loved the first Schweinske since it opened. I'm that old, so I prefer the rustic feel.

We've been to a few Schweinske restaurants, but this one really is the best of them all - and that's no exaggeration. The food is always really good. For example, the schnitzel is fried on the frying station rather than in the deep fryer. You can really tell that a lot of effort has been put into it, both in the kitchen and in the service. The whole interior is beautifully bright; on our first visit, I got talking to the owner about the lighting concept, which I find very appealing. He explained it to me in detail. There is one small drawback, however, and that is the limited parking spaces, but there simply isn't enough space. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.

There are many of them around Germany. This one in Norderstedt has undergone a restyling, which makes it more friendly and modern. The menu remains the same ... The quality is good and the prices are not expensive. The staff is kind, attentive and never invasive. I liked it and I will definitely return!

We went there for breakfast today with 15 people. Making a reservation was a breeze. The staff is very friendly, and all our requests for changes were accommodated. Highly recommended.

Over the years you have had a lot of experiences in restaurants, but the way we were served today was simply subpar. We were 2 adults + 2 children. We were probably unlucky with the waitress responsible for us. There were still dishes on the table from previous guests, they were cleared away, but we waited in vain for the waitress to come back to wipe the table. So I roughly cleaned the table with the breakfast menu myself. The order taking process was unfriendly and sloppy. Breakfast took forever. We didn't have anything particularly elaborate, rolls, scrambled eggs, etc. At the next table, an older couple came a while after us and ordered roulades with spaetzle. They were almost finished eating when our breakfast finally arrived. Unfortunately, one of the children didn't get a plate, so we had to order it again. He arrived with (the usual) delay, namely with the words “there is the plate”. Unfortunately the plate was a used one, with crumbs and breakfast leftovers from the previous one. Nobody in the world can tell me that it wasn't intentional. Just disgusting and makes me wonder what's wrong with the person. It's almost a minor matter that after I cracked my breakfast egg, the egg ran out - it was still almost raw. As compensation for the completely unsuccessful breakfast, we were offered 4 surprise eggs... Update to your answer: 1. The only warm thing in our breakfast was scrambled eggs. Even if your roulade and spaetzle are pre-cooked, scrambled eggs don't take 20 minutes longer. 2. It wasn't about a still wet plate! There were leftovers and breadcrumbs on the plate. This was a USED plate and never a plate from a clean pile. 3. I am over 50 and you are surprised that your gesture of a Kinder Surprise Egg was not well received by me? Just think about it for yourself...

After the renovation, the restaurant definitely looks more modern and inviting. The ambience has gained as a result. Particularly noteworthy is the staff, who were consistently friendly and very accommodating - you feel like you're in good hands here. The food corresponded to the well-known and expected Schweinske quality: as you know it. If you like pork, you won't be disappointed here and can now enjoy the food in a fresher environment. A positive experience!

Good food, moderate prices, very loud crowd, but otherwise everything was okay. Vegetarian wasn't great, but that's just a matter of taste. I was invited, can't say anything about the price.

The Schweinske in Norderstedt offers a pleasant atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. The staff is helpful and makes you feel comfortable. The ambience is also appealing – cozy, but still modern and inviting. The kitchen is fine - the food is solid and meets expectations, but there is still some room for improvement. For example, our schnitzel wasn't cooked through. But if you want to enjoy an uncomplicated meal in a relaxed environment, you're in good hands here. Overall a good place for a relaxed meal with family or friends.

Why are there such strong differences between Schweinske restaurants? There are nice employees here, but they seem overwhelmed when there is a lot of traffic. The food disappointed. Small portions and little things like lemon pieces left out with the schnitzel. Too bad. This is done better in other Schweinske restaurants.

Nice place. I had the Hamburger Schnitzel xxl and 2 beers of Hausbräu Udo hell. My wife had onion soup and the turkey steak with pommrs and herb butter as well as a Spezi and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. All for just over €60.00. The colleagues in service are super friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

We have enjoyed coming to the Schweinske for many years and one reason for this was the friendly and uncomplicated service. But now we have experienced subpar service for the second time in a row... Inattentive, long waiting times (waited over 20 minutes before we could place the order and the restaurant wasn't full), sloppy answers and not particularly friendly... It's a real shame and I hope it gets better again!

We had a very friendly waitress, with long black hair and red tips. The store was full and yet she was super, super friendly and did a great job! The food was also super delicious! We are thrilled. Typical Schweinske quality. The ambience really surprised us; we have only ever seen such a great Schweinske here. The food is like any other pork joint. Only the service wasn't that friendly that evening; I felt somehow unwelcome. But it could also have just been a bad day. But basically I would come again and depending on the friendliness the tip would be different.
