Our two pizzas were basically raw, the pasta carbonara was more like a soup made of cream with noodles. We were very disappointed as we have always enjoyed eating here. Even when we spoke to the waitress, there was no apology, a drink on the house or anything like that. You could tell that both the waitress and the chef were apparently already off work (we were there on a Saturday evening). We will avoid the restaurant for now.

Unfortunately we didn't like it that much. Maybe the chef just had a bad day 🤷🏼‍♂️

We went for dinner today based on a recommendation. We were warmly welcomed and looked after excellently. The food was very tasty and served invitingly. We were served and looked after with great warmth. Big thanks from Yuppie and Thomas

Wir haben da heute einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Wir waren 7 Personen. Das Essen war relativ schnell da aber die Portionen waren sehr klein obwohl die Preise nicht gerade günstig da waren. Die Qualität des Essens war zum Teil eher unterdurchschnittlich. Mein Lammfilet war nicht gut und die Portion extrem klein . Ich dachte es wäre die Vorspeise. Ich habe den Gastwirt/ Service nach dem Essen persönlich unter 4 Augen darauf angesprochen und gesagt das wir da nie wieder Essen gehen werden. Ich war sehr enttäuscht vor allem weil ich die italienische Küche liebe. Da ich sehr viel in verschiedene Restaurants Essen gehe war ich sehr enttäuscht.

Everything was great again. We always enjoy coming to Farinelli. The ambience, service and food are just right. Even wishes that are not on the menu are fulfilled. Drinks and food arrived quickly. Oil and bread are provided free of charge in advance. The bread was a bit dry, but the delicious oil made up for it ;-) I like the carbonara best, which is prepared in the original way, without cream. Plus a glass of Pinot Gris ;-) This time I had fish and salad, it was also delicious and a cozy evening. The desserts, such as tiramisu or crème br. are highly recommended.

Four of us went to the restaurant after making a reservation by phone. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. Excellent food, cozy, quiet atmosphere and very nice and courteous service. All of this at a very good price. Super! We would love to come back.

This was my second time eating there and I have to say, it really wasn't good. (The first time wasn't good, but everyone deserves a second chance) The carpacho didn't taste good and the main course had too much sauce, not enough meat and the portion was generally too small. I gave the feedback to the waiter (the older gentleman) when he asked me how I liked it. But to my surprise, he just wasn't interested. I mean, honest feedback is the best thing you can get. I won't go there anymore. !

Wir hatten für 19:00 Uhr über OpenTable bestellt, Reservierung war nicht zu finden. Wir bekamen aber trotzdem einen Platz. Schnell kam die Karten, auf die Bestellmöglichkeit mussten wir 40 Minuten warten. Kaum dass wir unsere Getränke bestellt und serviert waren und Brot und Öl serviert wurden, stand auch schon der Hauptgang da. Alles in allem machte der Service und auch das Ambiente den Eindruck, dass es hier nicht um Gastlichkeit, sondern darum, den Gast abzuwickeln wie bei McDonald’s. Dafür finde ich 80 € für drei Personen sehr preisintensiv. Zumal die Ravioli angetrocknet waren und mit fast 20 € pro Portion reichlich überteuert. Schade, hier hätte ein freundliches Wort im Vorfeld und servierte Getränke eine Menge retten können. Leider ist das kein Einzelfall, Freunde von uns haben, ähnliches erlebt in der Vorweihnachtszeit und kommen deshalb nicht mehr. Und auch wir werden sicherlich nicht wiederkommen.

We made a reservation and ate here on a Friday evening. I have to agree with many other reviews regarding the friendliness of the service staff. It's human to be in a bad mood sometimes, but there seem to be deeper challenges here. If only there would at least be the feeling that you weren't being served warmly. During our visit you had to be happy to be served at all. Neighboring tables didn't even have a drink on the table after 30 minutes and were rightly upset. The only service staff was completely overwhelmed and we also had to wait forever for our food. Any thought of dessert or an espresso was spoiled and buried. To put it into perspective: the restaurant was around 50-60% busy. The food was OK, but still not good enough to warrant a second visit, even with excellent service. The prices are not appropriate and are set too high for the quality and quantity offered. In the men's toilet, the urinal was taped off and could not be used, but otherwise the toilet was clean. A positive point would be that there is a large public/free parking lot near the restaurant. However, this is not a service from the restaurant itself. It's a shame, my expectations were clearly missed.

Visited the restaurant for the first time. Christmas card with corresponding prices. Unfortunately, most of the dishes did not live up to the occasion and expectations in preparation and presentation. Too bad

War 30 Minuten vor Ende Mittagstisch im Restaurant. Der Inhaber/Kellner: "Kommt noch jemand oder sind sie alleine?" Ich: "Nein, ich bin alleine" Inhaber/Kellner: "Wir schließen in 30 Minuten. Die Küche ist bereits geschlossen" Dann entwich er der Szenerie. Aehm...warum interessiert ihn dann, wie viele Personen mit mir gekommen sind? Lohnt es sich nicht für einen Kunden zu kochen? Vielleicht sollte man schreiben: Letzter Einlass 60 Minuten vor Küchenschluss. Nebenbei ist es auch der Gesamteindruck, wie hier etwas mitgeteilt wird. Er hat mich einfach stehen gelassen und ist entschwunden. NIE WIEDER DIESES RESTAURANT. AUCH NICHT FÜR MEINE ANSTEHENDE WEIHNACHTSFEIER MEINER FIRMA !

Leider hat uns das Farinelli in Norderstedt sehr enttäuscht. Die Vorspeise Burrata mit Rucola war geschmacklos, der Rucola nicht frisch ( um die Ecke gibt es einen orientalischen Supermarkt mit frischem Rucola…), die Bruscetta ohne Kräuter lieblos und auch nicht gewürzt, auch auf der Vorspeise meines Mannes waren die Komponenten einfach draufgelegt, nicht angerichtet ohne Geschmack. Wie fragten nach Essig und Öl zum nachwürzen, bekamen eine offene fast leere Flasche Öl. Die Pizza zum Hauptgang war so salzig, das wir sie nicht essen konnten, der Teig nicht schneidbar, hart und trocken, der Belag trocken. Meine Hauptspeise Nudeln mit Rinderspitzen und Pfifferlingen war einfach nur schlecht . Ein riesiger Berg Nudeln in geschmackloser verdünnter Sahne, das Fleisch in groben Brocken, die „Pfifferlinge“ wässrige große Stücke , garantiert keine echtenPfifferlinge, nicht kross mit Kräutern oder Zwiebeln angebraten, alles geschmacklos und auf den Teller geworfen. Die Kalbsleber meines Mannes kam in Stückchen wie Geschnetzeltes oder Ragout, dazu Kartoffelpüree welches wässrig, stückchenförmig daneben schwomm. Es sah alles aus wie Moppelkotze, so hatten wir Kalbsleber noch nie serviert bekommen. Geschmack auch hier nach nichts. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet, die Atmosphäre war angenehm, die weibliche Bedienung sehr nett und freundlich, die männliche Bedienung nicht gastfreundlich einladend aber okay. Nachdem wir bei der weiblichen Bedienung unsere Meinung über das Essen kundgetan hatten, wir konnten die Gerichte nicht aufessen, kam leider keine weitere Bedienung, so dass kein Kaffee oder Dessert den Geburtstag meines Mannes bei Farinelli schön ausklingen lassen konnten. Leider keine Empfehlung von uns. Schade.

We thoroughly enjoyed the platter of tapas for two as a starter followed by a beautiful piece of steak in a gorgonzola sauce for me and delicious ravioli for my wife. I'm sorry we had no room left to sample a desert but we will next time!

We've eaten there very often. The food is absolutely worth 5 stars and more. What's annoying is that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. The truffle pasta turned out to be a very small portion. 3 forks and that was it. Unfortunately, that is not an exaggeration. The owner is also quite grumpy and I find it difficult when one table gets coffee or grappa on the house and the other doesn't.

Very friendly team, pizza very good, appetizer platter legendary (we were invited, there were 6 appetizer bowls for each of 3 people; I particularly liked the squid rings).

We were at FARINELLI last night via “Open Table”. The older waiter was unsure and somewhat friendly. With the wine he said after 10 seconds: Do you want white, red or rosé wine? He didn't really let me think about what would go with the meal. The pumpkin soup tasted like too salty broth with pumpkin pulp and was not a uniform soup emulsion. My main course: Penne with pumpkin and gorgonzola tasted like the soup above only with some gorgonzola and penne in it. My espresso Dopio Macchiato came after he was annoyed because the coffee machine should have already been cleaned. My daughter liked the Bruschetta Classico and tagliatelle with chanterelles and bacon plus KiBa. Anyway. We wouldn't go there again (for 70 euros). Too relaxed... and the feeling is then transferred to us as guests. What a shame!!

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the older gentleman in service was very unfriendly and didn't make the visit a positive one.

There were three of us (2 adults and 1 child) eating here today. As half Italian we have to say great food. Pizza top lasagne Top Scalopina in Gogonzola more like top... We enjoyed it very, very well, just like with our Italian family in Italy. The service staff were both very friendly and attentive... all in all a 10*** top store

My colleagues gave me a voucher that was still valid until July 1st, 2024. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to redeem it for a long time. On June 4th, 2024 my husband and I finally made it and went to eat at farinelli and wanted to redeem the voucher... but... Pustekuchen... Statement: the owner would have gone to Hamburg, so you couldn't use the voucher. I should please redeem these at Hofweg in Hamburg. The voucher was bought in Norderstedt and issued on it. Norderstedt is also advertised on the website. So why can I no longer redeem the voucher (€ 40.00) there? No response to emails either... very sad. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. There's a reason why the voucher was bought in Norderstedt... I come from Schleswig Holstein... I'm not going to drive 1.5 hours to Hamburg and 1.5 hours back just to go out to eat. Apparently people here are not willing to redeem the voucher as a gesture of goodwill. Not customer friendly

Not a nice guest experience. Then you should take 10 minutes more travel time and drive to Quickborn to find a good Italian restaurant. This place is focused on commercialism rather than authentic Italian cuisine. A pity.

I haven't had such bad food in a long time. Far from good Italian cuisine. Pasta hard and sticky, dry fried meat and too much garlic. Salad only consisted of one kind of leaves and half a tomato. It's a shame about the products you bought. Long waiting time, about 45 minutes, until the starter was served. Only 2 service staff (no permanent counter staff) who seemed completely overwhelmed and the shop wasn't fully staffed! It's getting better!!!

Yesterday I was at farinelli Norderstedt with my friends and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is very nice, attentive and takes very good care of the guests. The food tastes very good and you always get fresh bread and olive oil. We will be back!

We came to Farinelli for dinner quite spontaneously for the first time. It's very stylishly furnished. We were greeted normally. The pizza came fresh and tasted okay, nothing special, the price was more expensive than okay. The service was very unfriendly, no smile, no courtesy. When we asked whether we could get the pizza with an extra ingredient or whether we could leave something out, the answer was no in an unfriendly manner and without thinking. When we asked if we could order some of the drinks that were available in bottles, we also said no. We felt very uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. I only ate half of my pizza because I wanted to eat it at home rather than stay longer in an unfriendly restaurant. We were only with you because Einstein was closed. Once and never again.

That's it for the "favorite Italian"!! The “Farinelli” has always been something of a “feel-good oasis” in the middle of the vibrant city of Norderstedt. All that was missing was the view of the sea. We regularly arranged to meet there - as a couple, but also with the whole family. The service wasn't quite right the last time. The operator's greeting was very brief and this interaction continued throughout the entire evening. We had the table in the back area, right by the kitchen. We were surrounded by fruit flies throughout our meal. It can happen, we fully understand that, it may not have been a good day overall. A few weeks later we tried again. Unfortunately, nothing had changed in the operator's subdued mood. The fruit flies were still there too. When we ordered the antipasti plate, the operator started arguing with us in a way that was not appropriate. The pizzas came at the same time, none of them were hot, the base was much too thin. I would describe the surface as quite sparse. Nobody came to ask if it tasted good or if the food was okay. After eating the lukewarm pizza, we were not asked whether it should be dessert or perhaps an espresso. By now we were no longer in a good mood. Likewise, as on the previous visit, there was no offer of a Limoncello, a Sambuca or anything similar on the house. To make one thing clear: We value everyone who is willing to do a job in the catering industry these days. If you buy a currywurst in your hand, you can't expect the seller to be exuberant in communication. But if we spend almost 200 euros on a meal, then we can probably expect friendly treatment, after all, this tone is also a given for us as guests. In this respect, unfortunately we have to look for a new location.

After a delicious starter, disappointment came with the next course. The sea bream fillet with lemon sauce was a disaster. The noble fish was covered all over with heavily thickened sauce and artificial lemon flavor. Unfortunately you couldn't taste any more of the fish.

We were there with a larger group (16 people). Unfortunately, the new pizza maker at the oven doesn't yet have the experience to get 12 pizzas out of the oven at the same time. So we ate delicious pizzas at a very different time. The other staff also noticed this and reacted. Sorry and dessert on the house. Thank you very much for the afternoon. Whenever I'm in the area again and I'm hungry for pizza, I'll come to you.

I had dinner here with two friends today and we chose this restaurant based on the reviews. As starters we had the salmon tartare, the beef carpaccio and the bruschetta. The tartare and carpaccio were very good, but unfortunately the bruschetta had a little too little oil. For the main course we had the truffle pasta and the salmon fillet with lobster sauce (I ordered tagliatelle as a side dish). Unfortunately, the salmon fillet was well overcooked and therefore too dry, the lobster sauce was very tasty. Unfortunately the tagliatelle were not in the lobster sauce but on a separate plate in a simple cream sauce, which was a shame. The truffle paste at least had fresh truffles on top, but unfortunately there wasn't enough cream sauce and so the pasta was very dry. For dessert we had the Vanilla Tartufo, the Creme Brulee and the Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream. The tartufo was too sweet on the outside but good on the inside. The creme brulee was very good and still warm, only the crunchy sugar layer was a little too thick. The Lava Cake was great in terms of taste and consistency, just a little too cold. We communicated the criticism of the main course to the waiter, but unfortunately the waiter was not very interested in it and took it rather poorly. We then decided to ask for the boss and the lady at the bar (who was also very friendly before) introduced herself as the boss. She received our criticism very kindly and thanked us for it. So the conclusion is a mixed bag. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't sufficient for higher demands.

Wir kamen mit einer Person mehr als wie reserviert hatten - unser Problem. Aber leider auch wenig Lösungsorientierung vom Personal, so dass wir die spontan mitgebrachte Person wieder nach Hause schicken mussten. Essen war okay.

Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend auch bei Stress. Das Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet, was nicht so schön war gegenüber unseres Tisches standen Wein Kartons aufgestapelt. Das Essen war nicht so toll, wir hatten Nudeln die waren schon sehr durch und die Soße hat ziemlich nach Mehl geschmeckt. Die Kartoffeln auf dem Steak Teller waren aufgewärmt. Der Lava Cake war aber echt lecker. Natürlich kann dieses Problem mit dem Essen auch an den Feiertagen liegen, man ist da ziemlich im Stress. Wir werden dem Restaurant noch einmal eine Chance geben.

Wir haben einen Geburtstag gefeiert. Für einen Freitag war die Geräuschkulisse absolut OK. Einziges - war mein Thunfischsteak. Ich hatte vorher noch nachgefragt ob der Fisch nur angebraten wird. ( in der Mitte noch roh) Was ich bekam war dann doch Well Done. Schade um den Fisch... Der Service war wie immer familiär sehr gut.

I been to this restaurant multiple times and it never disappointed me, it is legitimately the best restaurant around Norderstedt. Food is amazing and the whole experience from start to finish is great. I love the service at the place and the chef Sara is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

Das Essen ist richtig richtig lecker. Habe noch nie so eine leckere Spaghetti Carbonara, Original Italiano gegessen. Rinder Carpaccio, top Ambiente, einfach super tolles Lokal. Tolles Restaurant Pizza aus dem Pizzaofen das Dressing vom Salat ist selbst gemacht und perfekt

Das Restaurant ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Essen war ok. Es wird dort mit sehr sehr viel Knoblauch gekocht und die Scampis waren sehr matschig . Alles noch ausbaufähig, aber kein Besuch mehr wert.

Ich hatte Papadelle mit Steinpilzen und Rindfleisch Streifen Die Portion war groß und sehr gut gewürzt Es war recht laut im Restaurant, was unter anderen auf eine große Gesellschaft zurück zu führen war Schade ist nur, dass das Restaurant am Samstag um 22 Uhr schließt Wir wären gern noch etw sitzen geblieben Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder dort essen gehen

Wir waren das erste Mal nach unserem Umzug nach Norderstedt im Farinelli essen. Es war alles sehr gut, wir kommen wieder!
