Schweinske Hamm in Hamburg

The schnitzels are the cheapest frozen goods, ready-made sauces. The quality has deteriorated significantly. The service is still good, but that doesn't affect the quality of the food. Schweinske used to be a Hamburg institution for good schnitzel, but that was a long time ago, unfortunately.🤷‍♂️

Already eaten pork, which improved, but unfortunately it fell slightly short of the usual expectations. We had the Alsatian schnitzel that was supposed to be au gratin, but it looked more like sauce that had been hastily poured over it. The asparagus with my wife's schnitzel was very well cooked

Little morning piglet... A slice of cheese and a slice of salami, really ridiculous... I've never had that in any other pork shop. Unfortunately we didn't bake the rolls ourselves, but you could eat the rolls. The EC device is often broken (supposedly) I won't visit this piggy again.

Perfect place to get a good meal. Especially if you like real German schnitzel. They have a good selection of.. well everything. Meat, beer, wine and cocktails.

SCHWEINSKE - just feel good! A restaurant where everyone enjoys their job, from the service to the kitchen. The service is very attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was delicious and absolutely ok in terms of price. Drinks and a main course for three adults = €70. We will also test the breakfast offer on the Easter weekend😉🙃😄

The food was really tasty - the Bolognese style schnitzel was something different and tasted great! The burger was also convincing. The service was okay, the ambience was okay. Overall, a successful visit, gladly again!

Schweinske is just a restaurant where you can eat quickly and inexpensively. You don't have to and shouldn't expect top quality. But for what you pay, you can eat really well there. I just have the feeling that the quality of the service is decreasing. Every now and then you have gems with you who pay attention to everything and do and do... then unfortunately it happens more and more that the lackluster... (the main thing is that I get through my shift) waitresses are deployed there. I would be happy to pay more attention to the quality of the staff again, then the reviews will get better.

We got the menus ourselves because no employee came after a few minutes. But we were able to order relatively quickly and it didn't take long for the drinks to arrive. Unfortunately the wrong food was delivered. Instead of scrambled eggs, fried eggs were delivered and the bacon was missing. When the scrambled eggs were finally delivered, they were cold and the bacon was missing again. We were offered a drink on the house. Thanks for that. I had to get up until it was noticed that I wanted to pay. The food was good but the service and communication between the service and the kitchen needs room for improvement.

It's always been a mediocre place. But that was okay and good considering the prices. The service was always very good. The guests were always kept in mind. People asked at the right intervals whether everything was OK. Unfortunately, that has now been completely lost. The waitresses look in a bad mood and don't pay attention to anything on their own. Instead, people stand together at the counter and chat. You always have to wave. Simple eye contact is not enough. Unfortunately, they no longer look at the customers. I suspect the owners have changed. Before, everyone was really on their toes.

We have been to Schweinske Hamm several times. First of all: You feel welcome as a guest, the service staff is extremely friendly and makes sure that we feel comfortable. The dishes are delicious. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. The map is extensive but clear. The reason for my review is "Schweinske para llevar", all dishes are also available to take away. I tried it and am still impressed. Call, ready for collection after 20 minutes, packaged safely for transport! And the two dishes with meat and side dishes tasted just as delicious at home as they did in the restaurant. Keep it up

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant three times during my stay in Hamburg (November 14th, 15th and 17th) and all I can say is that it was an absolute highlight! The atmosphere is inviting and the service is super friendly and nice - you immediately feel at home. I tried a total of four dishes: the Currywurst König, the Elbsässer Schnitzel, the Schnitzel Barbecue and the Kaiserschmarrn. Every single dish was simply delicious and exceeded my expectations. A big thank you to the great employees.

The food is okay and the price-performance ratio is okay. What I find very worrying, however, is the cleanliness. I often sit in the first row on the left, looking in from the patio door (at one of the three tables that is right by the window). This table is always stuck at lunchtime when I'm there. In the seats a few rows away you can see crumbs on the tables. I find not wiping the tables properly after a guest to be extremely unhygienic. I don't know if it's just these window tables that are "overlooked" because the middle and aisle tables usually don't stick. What also bothers me personally, but that's just a question of taste, are the two large monitors on which music videos are constantly playing. The music isn't the problem and the volume is fine, but the fact that the music videos are constantly playing annoys me.

Yes, just piggy. Service top. Location also nice. But... it was really worlds better with the schnitzel. Worlds... now the price pressure is probably too high. Any chip shop can do it better than these shaped meat things...brrr

A very good discovery and recommendation for us visitors to Hamburg. Discovered by chance and went in hungry. Nice staff, drinks came quickly, food also came relatively quickly and was very good. We had schnitzel and salad with nuggets. Both were very well prepared, the schnitzel was a schnitzel as it should be, well pounded, well breaded and fried - no freezer rubber. The salad was a nice mix, fresh, no brown or dried cuts, plentiful and the nuggets were simply wonderfully crispy and juicy. If the vinegar and oil bottles hadn't been so sticky and unpleasant, it would have been perfect. But that's really complaining at a high level. We sat outside and of course the loud street rushed past the table. The glass partition kept a lot of space out, and it's probably easier to sit in there. It looked cozier as I walked by. But it was terribly warm and we didn't want to sit in it and immediately sank down in the shade. There is their own beer in 2 types, which we were able to test for free before ordering and then order the preferred type. We were very happy about that and it is not something we take for granted these days. Thank you again for that. We will go again next time we visit Hamburg.

The Schweinske used to be a cheap restaurant where you could go with the whole family to eat. You knew what you were getting: The food was just schnitzel with ready-made sauce and convenience vegetables. Today they want to use their prices to convey that they are a middle class restaurant, and they simply are not. The food has more of a canteen feel, and they have simply become too expensive for that.

Come in hungry, leave full, solid food at a fair price and a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you Joana for the excellent service and the charming smile at such a late hour...🙏

Reviews are important for a company. They serve to provide direct feedback from customers and thus provide the opportunity to optimize. We (7 people) went to Schweinske on our Hamburg weekend (August 24th). The recommendation from our friends: we had to eat here. The waitress (lady) was super friendly and took our order. The food was really delicious. I liked it. There was nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, at the end there was an unpleasant action from one of the employees. As the shop was closing, he came up to us drinking a drink to inform us that the shop was closing soon. So far so good. We paid and, since our waitress (lady) was really great, gave a generous tip. As we stood outside we were amused by the street name. The said employee asked what was going on. Whereupon we explained this to him. Instead of accepting this in a relaxed manner, there was just a cheeky statement, which I have never experienced before. We then just thanked them for the delicious food and moved on. In times when people are paying more attention to money, good service is even more important because they are the figurehead of the company and represent it. Unfortunately, the Schweinske company was not well presented at the end. However, express praise to our service. Based on my experience, I unfortunately have to rate the Schweinske accordingly.

The service was very friendly and the food came quickly. It's not a really good restaurant, but you can get something to fill you up for little money. Unfortunately, the music was a bit loud (and not particularly good). The red ale was very tasty and the Helbing was unfortunately not available. Unfortunately, when I ordered I wasn't served the coleslaw I ordered, but a normal salad. I didn't say anything, but I guess the salad would have been swapped out without any problem.

Here, decent food is served at reasonable prices in a simple but friendly atmosphere. And if you just come for beer, you'll get it taken care of too. I like it!
