The food and service were excellent...very good value for money. We'll be back next time; excellent German cuisine.

I've eaten at Schweinske's many times in the past. And the food was generally delicious. The service was mostly very friendly. But the last time we visited, the prices blew us away. Simply too expensive for food that isn't prepared by hand. No... That's going too far. What a pity. We got up from the table and left.

We wanted to have breakfast at this restaurant. After quickly placing our order, breakfast arrived right away. The quantity was considerably smaller than at Schweinske in Kiel, and the rolls were also smaller. We ordered the set menu at the same time. I also noticed that a video camera on the ceiling is presumably recording the customers' eating habits.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ I was in Hamburg on business, and since Schweinske was within walking distance of my hotel, I ventured there. Living in Spain, I'd been missing German food a bit—so it was just the right opportunity. Admittedly, when I looked at the menu, I was initially shocked by how much the prices had risen. Nevertheless, I opted for the Currywurst Admirale—and it was absolutely the right choice. • Currywurst: super tasty, great sauce. • Fries: perfectly prepared, really good. • Drink: a cold beer with it—perfect! The only downside: the mayonnaise served with bread as a welcome drink. Unfortunately, it was absolutely useless—truly inedible. I also mentioned this to the very friendly staff, and they immediately brought me a different mayo, which was again very tasty. 👉 Conclusion: For a franchise, really good food, friendly service, and a pleasant stay. I'd be happy to come back.

Super friendly waiters, friendly and attentive service. Fast service. Delicious drinks (cocktails during happy hour are highly recommended!) and delicious food. It's great to have a restaurant like this nearby! We look forward to our next visit ☺️

Pork... you can definitely have it once in a while. Breakfast is really delicious, and there's something for every taste.

The food is still delicious. "Only" 4 stars because the prices on the "old" menu haven't changed yet. I was surprised by the bill when I got home. I ate chicken penne and drank two teas and one small Mirinda. Chicken penne cost €9.90, tea cost €2.90, and Mirinda cost €2.60, so I should have stayed under €20, but I paid €23.40 without a tip. I had "Mr. Pig" for breakfast (2 slices of crusty white bread, 2 slices of smoked pork, 2 slices of bacon, remoulade, and hot cocktail sauce), with a fresh salad. It was very, very tasty; I can only recommend it to everyone. All this for €13.90 is absolutely fine.

Schweinske is always worth a visit. I personally find it very nice here, especially when you can sit outside in nice weather. The staff is always cheerful. However, the endless construction site in front of this branch is a bit of a nuisance. But that's not Schweinske's fault.

We were with you on August 26th, and I have to say, your waitress (Hella) is amazing! Her relaxed manner rounded off the evening perfectly! She was our employee of the day. 😂 The food was also great 👍🏻

The staff is very friendly, orders are taken and served quickly. Vegetarians won't be so happy here. The large bratwurst (180g) tastes okay and is served uncut like a currywurst. The fries are delicious. The Caesar salad didn't seem to have all the usual ingredients (no anchovies, no small tomatoes (the latter perhaps not common everywhere)), and the vegetarian burger wasn't convincing. If you don't come during peak times, you don't need to make a reservation (there's plenty of seating inside and outside). We really enjoyed the red Primitivo.

We were in Hamburg in July and wanted to try some pork for dinner. The location of the garden in Hamm isn't quite as nice, but the restaurant is right next to the subway, making it ideal for those without a car. The interior of this restaurant is very cozy. The food is delicious and fresh. The service had some issues with the cash register during our visit, but this was compensated for by a free drink on the house. The service staff were super friendly and attentive. All in all, a great stay for us. The only minor drawback is the bathrooms, which are tiny but clean.

We had breakfast here twice during a recent stay nearby, and it was absolutely worth it. Great value, generous portions, and friendly service. We ordered two full adult breakfasts and one kids’ breakfast - more than enough for our group of 3 adults and a child. The staff gladly provided extra plates and cutlery so we could share comfortably, which we really appreciated. The total came to just €36 - fantastic considering the quality and how full we left. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, with plenty of variety. The kids’ breakfast was especially nice - thoughtful, fun, and great value. It even came with a Kinder Surprise, which was a lovely touch. Also worth mentioning: the staff were able (and very willing!) to speak English, which made the experience even smoother - not something to take for granted in every local spot. If you’re staying in the area and find hotel breakfasts overpriced, this is a great alternative. Highly recommended!

A good Hamburg restaurant in the Hamm district. Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. We went there as a family during our Hamburg weekend. Locals also come here to eat. Afterwards, we quickly hopped on the subway, which is right across the street.

We dined at this restaurant three consecutive evenings (hotel about 100 meters away), excellent food, generous portions, friendly staff, fair prices, open late, recommended for those staying in hotels in the area.

Good food, very good service, a nice, unobtrusive interior. 5 stars, leaning towards 4, but I wouldn't give it a 4 because of the pasta. Everything else, including broccoli, pulled pork, and baked potatoes, was fantastic. There was practically no wait time, and the prices were reasonable, too.

The food wasn't that great. The salad was from a bag and uninspired. However, the service was friendly and funny.

Because we moved away, we haven't been there in a while. Now it just happened – and it was always good before, but this time we were really surprised by the new, improved menu. Super delicious, served super quickly, and even cheaper than expected. We'll be back soon, despite the 60-minute drive. 👍

As always, a good place to eat and drink. The food is tasty and the portions are generously sized. I didn't like that they no longer serve Duckstein. It's a shame. But otherwise, I'd go back anytime.

I ate here during my visit to Hamburg. It's located near a subway station. I was completely satisfied with our meal and can recommend the restaurant. The service was also attentive and prompt. If I ever return to Hamburg, this restaurant will be on my list.

Service is relatively quick when it arrives, but initiative is required. The food also tastes good if the delivery arrives as requested; otherwise, the rest is delivered separately once everyone has finished eating and is ready to pay.

We have known the Schweinske restaurant chain for many years in various cities and have always had positive experiences. With correspondingly high expectations, we made a table reservation this time as well. The service on site was friendly and prompt – we would like to expressly commend the staff here. Unfortunately, the dining experience was completely underwhelming. The food was neither good quality nor good value for money, either in terms of quality or presentation. It was clearly frozen food, and the preparation seemed careless. Furthermore, some of the dishes were already significantly cold when served. This experience disappointed us. Given our previous positive experiences, we deeply regret that we cannot recommend this restaurant in this case.

It was okay. Unfortunately, the sauce on the pepper schnitzel tasted like instant sauce to me, so it's a good thing they served it separately. The tables were very sticky, which wasn't great. The prices were just about acceptable.

I've long accepted that prices had to be raised. But it's a shame that the portions are getting smaller AND the quality is getting worse. We used to come here often. Now you pay 19.10 for a (dry) mini turkey steak with a baked potato. We're honestly out of it. Two meals, two small Cokes, just under 40.00. The service wasn't in the mood either.

We were visiting Hamburg and had dinner here on two occasions. The food was of very good quality and tasted great. We were thrilled that they served a small salad with every dish. The homemade lemonades were also delicious. The staff was very friendly. We'd love to come back next time we're in the area.

We're regular guests at Schweinske, but unfortunately, we had a very negative experience this time. There was a bartender who, according to other employees, was new, and a waitress as well. About our experience today: We sat outside and initially waited a long time for service. We ordered two cocktails and were still unsure what to have. Unfortunately, as usual, there was no bread basket, and the cocktails were terrible (I drank about 25% of them). The coleslaw tasted absolutely weird this time and was warm (the waitress said that other guests had already complained about this), but we weren't charged for it either. When the food arrived, our table was missing cutlery, and we were the only ones who were constantly ignored, while everyone else received a bread basket at the beginning. We only received it after asking if we needed cutlery. When we gave feedback that the cocktails were really bad, the waitress said that the new bartender doesn't listen to feedback and that things taste and look better the way he makes them. We ordered two Zombies—we drink Zombies there every time—but this time it was completely watered down; the cocktail probably sat there too long and the ice melted. Then the grenadine was missing, and the cocktail was completely yellow. A normal Zombie is actually reddish. Unfortunately, without grenadine, the Zombie doesn't taste good. It felt like the new waitress had partially ignored us. There was one situation where the new waitress smoked a cigarette and one of the longer-serving waitresses pointed at us. We just saw a negative gesture and continued to wait to be greeted. We're always used to the best quality, especially when it comes to cocktails and service, so unfortunately, this time it was a pretty poor visit. It's also a shame that we were charged in full for our cocktails, as I could hardly drink any of them. All in all, this was the worst service we've had so far. If the young bartender, or the owner(?) (tattooed), is there again, we'll be happy to continue coming. We feel like we're in the very best hands with them, both in terms of cocktails and service. The zombies from the ones mentioned above are an absolute delight. We usually have 2-4 cocktails there a night. Today, we didn't even get a single one. The new bartender, coupled with the new waitress, unfortunately ruined our day. The food (apart from the coleslaw) was very tasty. But unfortunately, that couldn't save it. I had the feeling the coleslaw was just mayonnaise, carrots, and white cabbage. It lacked acidity, it lacked sweetness. Overall, the first coleslaw tasted like it had been tipped over (it was a very warm day).

I was there years ago when I lived in Hamburg and was still impressed today...it was a journey back in time for me...

I was looking forward to stopping by Schweinske again during my visit to Hamburg. The service was friendly as usual, and the food came quickly. Unfortunately, the Jägerschnitzel XXL didn't even come close to the plate-filling schnitzel I remembered. The Jäger sauce was very watery without any mushrooms, the portion of fries was very, very modest, and the size of the schnitzel had very little to do with XXL. I hate to use the phrase "everything was better in the old days," but that's exactly what happened here... I'm holding out some hope that I just picked the wrong day and will try again on my next visit.

The food and ambiance were classic Schweinske. The lady's service was outstanding! Attentive, empathetic, prompt, and humorous—you can't ask for more!

The schnitzels are cheap frozen goods, with ready-made sauces. The quality has declined significantly. The service is still good, but that doesn't affect the quality of the food. Schweinske used to be a Hamburg institution for good schnitzels, but that was a long time ago, unfortunately. 🤷‍♂️ I'm not convinced by the answer. You receive a friendly welcome and the food comes very quickly, as you would expect from Schweinske. The taste is very good, there are actually dishes suitable for every direction, including a selection of vegetarian dishes. The prices are very affordable these days

Already eaten pork, which improved, but unfortunately it fell slightly short of the usual expectations. We had the Alsatian schnitzel that was supposed to be au gratin, but it looked more like sauce that had been hastily poured over it. The asparagus with my wife's schnitzel was very well cooked

Little morning piglet... A slice of cheese and a slice of salami, really ridiculous... I've never had that in any other pork shop. Unfortunately we didn't bake the rolls ourselves, but you could eat the rolls. The EC device is often broken (supposedly) I won't visit this piggy again.

SCHWEINSKE - just feel good! A restaurant where everyone enjoys their job, from the service to the kitchen. The service is very attentive and very friendly. Schweinske is just a restaurant where you can eat quickly and inexpensively. You don't have to and shouldn't expect top quality. But for what you pay, you can eat really well there. I just have the feeling that the quality of the service is decreasing. Every now and then you have gems with you who pay attention to everything and do and do... then unfortunately it happens more and more that the lackluster... (the main thing is that I get through my shift) waitresses are deployed there. I would be happy to pay more attention to the quality of the staff again, then the reviews will get better.

We got the menus ourselves because no employee came after a few minutes. But we were able to order relatively quickly and it didn't take long for the drinks to arrive. Unfortunately the wrong food was delivered. Instead of scrambled eggs, fried eggs were delivered and the bacon was missing. When the scrambled eggs were finally delivered, they were cold and the bacon was missing again. We were offered a drink on the house. Thanks for that. I had to get up until it was noticed that I wanted to pay. The food was good but the service and communication between the service and the kitchen needs room for improvement.

It's always been a mediocre place. But that was okay and good considering the prices. The service was always very good. The guests were always kept in mind. People asked at the right intervals whether everything was OK. Unfortunately, that has now been completely lost. The waitresses look in a bad mood and don't pay attention to anything on their own. Instead, people stand together at the counter and chat. You always have to wave. Simple eye contact is not enough. Unfortunately, they no longer look at the customers. I suspect the owners have changed. Before, everyone was really on their toes.

We have been to Schweinske Hamm several times. First of all: You feel welcome as a guest, the service staff is extremely friendly and makes sure that we feel comfortable. The dishes are delicious. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. The map is extensive but clear. The reason for my review is "Schweinske para llevar", all dishes are also available to take away. I tried it and am still impressed. Call, ready for collection after 20 minutes, packaged safely for transport! And the two dishes with meat and side dishes tasted just as delicious at home as they did in the restaurant. Keep it up
