We were there today, it was great, thank you very much for everything.

Simply terrible 👎 Don't order it, it takes so long that you lose your appetite 👎👎👎

There is a strong yakh behind the head. He is also named after the head of the yakh. In the forest we have a huge hut and a huge yakh body. There are 5 sets of them.

We were there on a sunny day and it was very quiet. Unfortunately, the table wasn't clean. Upon request, they cleaned it with a smelly rag. Unfortunately, you could smell it. The trash can in front of the restroom was overflowing; no more paper could fit in it. Mind you, the restaurant was empty; even with a staff shortage, they can empty the trash can and clean the tables. It only takes five minutes. Cleanliness needs to be improved. One meal was served incorrectly, which wasn't a big deal, as it was taken back and the correct meal was delivered. The mango lassi was too thick and had hardly any mango flavor, and the lemonade with saffron came without saffron. It was just a lemon soda. Upon request, they said it contained a bit of saffron, but you can tell from the color that there's hardly any saffron. This was also our second visit, not our first. The first was very good, and perhaps there was a change of ownership? But the service and quality left something to be desired. Communication was also poor. Bread and sauce were served with our meal, and the bread was cold. It wasn't toasted or anything. We ordered fries instead of rice for our main course, but the quantity of fries was ridiculous. The salad was past its best, and the "chef" couldn't even cut the one tomato slice straight. It just looked like the last scraps were scraped together to fill the plates somewhat. Lamb was tender, but the sauce was too fatty. The minced meat skewer was good, but otherwise, the rest was mediocre. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews until after the visit and have to agree with them, because they charged for the bread and sauce. It wasn't even tasty. We thought it was the side dish. Of course, something like that should have been communicated beforehand, not just served without a word and then cashed in later. They also charged €15 too much, so we recommend adding everything up beforehand. There was no bill. I hate to give such a bad review, but we've never experienced a restaurant experience like this before. From start to finish, there was nothing to praise.

Ate at Khaybar yesterday. Bread with sauce was served without warning, and then we were charged twice – even though we hadn't ordered it. The meat dish was mostly fatty. When we asked for it, no response was forthcoming – "instructions from the chef." The taste was okay, but the pricing and service were disappointing.

Today we ate at Khaybar. We were initially served bread with a sauce – we thought it was a welcome gift from the kitchen because we hadn't ordered it. Because it tasted good, we ordered more. However, the bill was doubled – even though we didn't know it cost anything. The main course with meat tasted okay, but the meat was almost entirely fat. We mentioned it to the waitress, but she just said that the price was set by the chef – nothing was adjusted or explained. Overall, a rather disappointing visit. The food was okay, but there's still room for improvement in terms of service and price transparency.

Khyber Restaurant The food was not tasty at all, especially the kebab chutney which was really awful. I do not recommend eating here at all. A better and higher quality restaurant is Sepideh.

The food is tasteless, and they try to take money without a receipt. When paying, the amount is stated without the customer knowing how much the food and drinks cost. For example, how many people are eating? Finally, without a receipt, they tell you that the amount must be paid in cash. That's embarrassing for a restaurant.

The price they charge from customers is way too high for the food, ambiance and service at this restaurant. There were two of us and we paid almost 85 euros. The tikka kebab wasn't real meat at all - just tendons and fat. We didn't even touch the soup they brought. In short: it's not worth going there. If you just want to eat a Shir Yakh it's okay, but I don't recommend the food at all. I am writing this comment to help Afghan restaurants improve their quality.

Terrible Experience – Poor Food, False Menu, and Rude Behavior I had one of the worst dining experiences at this restaurant. The food was absolutely disappointing – tasteless, overcooked, and far from what I expected. To make matters worse, many items shown on the menu were not available, which was frustrating after getting excited about trying them. The service was equally awful. The staff was rude and unaccommodating, showing no concern for our complaints or requests. Their rough behavior made the entire experience even more unpleasant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money – there are far better options out there.

I came here to pick up a Too Good To Go order that I ate at home. The restaurant was packed and very chaotic when I came in, the food given to me disappointed in both quality and quantity, so overall the value presented was not good enough even for the discounted price I paid. I don’t think I would come back here as a regular customer after the experience I had.

This restaurant is authentic from the furnishings to the background music to the cuisine. There is no bling or poor copying of the failed kind here, but real tradition. This may be very irritating for the hunter of the culinary mainstream, but for those interested, Khaybar is worth a trip. The food is tasty, but I would have liked more spices and general heat. The service is extremely friendly, genuine and not put on. The ambience also seems authentic, and what is interesting is the political journey into the past mounted on the wall, as well as the seat cushions in the back.

Outstanding place very beautiful restaurant totally Afghan hospitality

We ordered two portions of Qabuli and received two small soups. Although the food was delivered very quickly, the taste and quality were disappointing. Both portions smelled unusually sour, and what was described as Qabuli had absolutely nothing to do with a typical Qabuli. The meat was tough like rubber and not edible - our dog ate the pieces of meat. Unfortunately, about 8-9 hours later, all three of us, including our dog, had massive gastrointestinal problems. Additionally, I was warned about Khaybar by my sister-in-law because she had previously received bread with mold on it. This experience only confirmed her warning.

Authentic Afghan restaurant, comfortably furnished and very friendly service. The food is super delicious, definitely try the ice cream for dessert.

The food was ok but quite more expensive than others. We ordered our food, first the waitress brought a pot of ash like soup. Everyone can get it there, if you order online you will also get a portion of it. At the end when we collected the soup was 15 euros, even we didn't order and ask. Is this how you have to make sales? We celebrated an engagement party at Khaibar about 2 weeks ago for about 40P. *From the owner, kitchen staff to the service staff, everyone was very nice and always available. The owner responded to our requests in a very polite and service-oriented manner. *The food was very tasty and plentiful. The leftovers were even packed up for us. *Drinks were cool and the tea was warm. *The service staff even played our music requests for dancing. *Our guests were enthusiastic, therefore A BIG RECOMMENDATION AND THANKS 1000 for the great service on September 28th, 2024 🙏 (I learned event management, so I have an eye for this area, and that's why I say: TOP TOP TOP keep it up😊👍

Food was very good though not quite worth five stars. Everything else was perfect, the owner and his staff were super friendly. We even got some soup before and tea after our dinner, both free of charge. We will definitely be back!

I ordered food via togoodtogo. I paid 4.30 for 2 spoons of spinach and a whole bucket of rice. I find that really ungodly. On the phone they say I'm sorry and hang up. I really don't think that's right. With togoodtogo you are supposed to save leftovers but only getting rice and 2 spoons of spinach is really sad. God sees everything 👍🏻

I don't recommend it to anyone, unfortunately I have to give it one star because there is no zero star. The manto was old and tasteless. For the first time I saw mantu with tomato paste! The pudding is served in ready-made storage boxes and is not freshly made, but frozen. Additionally, the baklava is tasteless and old. Card payment is possible, but the owner claims that it doesn't work. After payment, you will not be offered either the cash receipt or the debit receipt.

The service was very poor, I could really say the worst service I have experienced The entire service was slow and unprofessional. It was obvious that the staff was poorly trained and not motivated. I haven't had such a bad experience in a long time. I hope management takes these criticisms seriously and takes action to improve service. I and my friend got to this place at 11:30 am and I think we were the first customers of the day we order the kabuli polaw and chatni Kabob, the meet in kabili polaw smiled bad and the Chatni kabob was not cocked at all , we did not order the soup but they brought two soups which we did not ask for and we got charge for it . While we were paying we were asked to pay only cash. I won’t recommend this place to any afghani food lovers .

food was fantastic... service was super nice... German was a bit bumpy, but it's primarily about warmth... and the right food was brought too ;) So: extremely delicious... very fair prices... and hospitality and warmth are very important here.

We were on a Europe trip by car and tried a lot of Afghan restaurants, this restaurant was the best of all.

We ate at Khaybar for the first time today and were positively impressed by the delicious food and the friendly staff! As a pregnant woman, I felt very well taken care of by the nice gentleman. The food came very quickly and there was free soup on top. The portions are more than enough and the meat is very well seasoned and very tender. We'll definitely be back!!!

Best food and best service ever

Two years ago the food was really delicious. I went there again today, the food was quite ok and the ambience was great. However, the waitress didn't know what a hospitality receipt was. Although I received this both a year and two years ago, they couldn't issue one to me this time because they didn't know what it was.

Ordered food at 2:14 p.m. and at 4:18 p.m. after calling 3 times we went downstairs and finally picked up the food. The driver was unbelievable with a child 🤦🏻‍♀️

Absolutely loved the Khaybar! :) I was there for the first time today, my friend already knew the restaurant. My first impression?! Super authentic and many “compatriots” were there! :) Without a reservation, we spontaneously got a place even on a public holiday. The service was super pleasant - very friendly and attentive. There were even small appetizers “on the house” in advance. My vegetarian manti as the main course were incredibly tasty and tasty - the different ingredients and the sauce(s) were perfectly coordinated. On my friend's recommendation, we had the brown rice with raisins and carrots - I really recommend it! The portions are really good and the prices are more than fair. We were even invited for tea afterwards. :) We can highly recommend this restaurant - a must for anyone who loves Afghan cuisine!:)

Have ordered here. Food only arrived lukewarm after 1 1/2 hours. Neither the soup was comparable to other Persian shops (neither quantity nor taste). The dumplings were rather limp and barely filled. Unfortunately not recommended.

I got to know this store through "too good to go". The food tastes unique and is very cheap compared to other restaurants. The food style is somewhere between Indian and Turkish. Great spice mix! Also very friendly staff. I like going here.

Never again - I'm totally shocked, the service is catastrophic, the food is substandard, the ambience is zero. Then on top of that, the boss; Can you please pay everything together and we do not accept EC cards 🤔. The conclusion is that this shop has no idea about gastronomy, it's a shame about the money and the weekend was over for now.

Lieferando: Unfortunately the food is not edible. It seems expired and not good. Delivery was also problematic as everything was spilled in the bag. The rice was very greasy and old, and the bread was very dry. Approximately 2 hours delivery. I don't recommend it. If you have gastrointestinal problems, you can order from them.

Loved every moment in Khaybar. The food was excellent, halal and lovely staff. At peak times they seem overwhelmed, but that is OK. But their ice cream is on another level. I would even just go there to eat the ice cream.

I happened to pass by here today and enjoyed a very tasty and, as far as I can tell, authentic meal. All vegan and at a very good price! There are also a lot of meat dishes but the vegan menu isn't bad either. The saffron house lemonade is highly recommended and I felt very comfortable. You can even learn something about Afghan political culture by taking a closer look at the restaurant's decor. All in all, great recommendation :)

Just ordered. The food came over half an hour late. According to the description there should be a lettuce, tomatoes and hot sauce. Instead I received what felt like 1 kilo of rice and only 4 small pieces of meat. That's it. Never again!!!!

A very nice traditional place, it's really fun to eat Afghan food here, the gentlemen in the service department are very nice and that makes eating here much more pleasant, here you can sit on the floor and enjoy the food traditionally or eat your food on the table, I prefer the floor. Green tea is ready-brewed and delicious, and its aroma goes well with food. Be sure to try it out.
