I called the Schwarbrenner restaurant in Lörrach Brommach 2 days ago and asked if they do game and they said YES but once I got there it was completely different and that they didn't have any game then I remembered and called the place next to the loft and asked them what they do to eat and they said pasta and good burger then I got up and I know and I went to the other restaurant if your servants say YES they give to iron customers I didn't like it because I came quite far for nothing and sad.

When a chef doesn't like his job, this is what happens. I've rarely eaten something so bad.

We were having lunch. The manager was absent. A dark-haired woman in her mid-30s served us first. My companion only pushed the table 3 cm because she couldn't get through, then the drama began. She shouted, "We're not allowed to do that, the manager doesn't want that, etc." I was like, "Okay, sorry, can you explain this in a different, normal tone, etc." There weren't many customers outside, but the few who were there looked at us. A total catfight. Then she called her colleague with glasses, who was in his late 50s, and asked him to take our table's order. She refused. I've been there several times. But something like that...simply outrageous. Guests are definitely not kings there anymore!

I highly recommend this place. We go there often, whether on special days: Monday: Schnitzel Day Wednesday: Güggele Day Thursday: Leberle Day Or with the menu; everything tastes very good and there's a good selection. Plus, there are always seasonal dishes. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here.

My father and I ate here a few days ago. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still warmly welcomed. We were served by a very nice young lady. She often asked if everything was okay, but not so often that it seemed intrusive. Unfortunately, we were there at the same time as a fairly large group, which was very loud. The food is delicious, but...the lady with the Swiss accent is very arrogant. Even though it's quiet, you have to wait at the sign, but no one comes. People prefer chatting to working. Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be. We've known the owner since 1985 and have eaten there occasionally over the years. Unfortunately, our last visit was very disappointing. Upon entering the restaurant, I overlooked the sign that read "Please wait, we'll show you to your seat." Since only two tables were occupied and the others had "Reserved" signs on them, we waited instead of sitting down. The waitress – with a strong Swiss accent – ​​initially ignored us. When I politely asked where we could sit, I received an unexpectedly brusque reply: "It says so, please wait!" My comment that I had overlooked the sign was met with a shrug and an even sharper reprimand. Such an unfriendly tone is unacceptable to me, especially not towards long-time guests. Friendliness is part of service – and unfortunately, I missed it here. I will not be visiting the restaurant again in the future.

We went without a reservation and they got us a table very quickly. The people who served us were very friendly and provided excellent service. We went there for dinner on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. We hadn't expected to find a free table for two. But we were lucky. Wir waren dort mit 5 Erwachsenen und drei Kindern und haben gegessen und getrunken. Am Schluss kam die eh schon unfreundliche Chefin und fragte wer das Reserviertschild kaputt gemacht hat. Das Metallschild war einfach nur leicht zusammen gedrückt aber nicht kaputt. Ich hatte sie gefragt was der Sinn ihrer Frage sei und ob sie Geld dafür will. Sie wurde noch patziger und meinte dass sie nur ganz normal gefragt hätte und ja auch nicht bei uns zu Hause etwas kaputt machen würde. Wir waren fassungslos. Ich sagte ihr dass dies nicht kaputt sei da man es einfach wieder zurück biegen konnte. Sie sah es aber nicht ein blieb weiter patzig. Auch das Argument das sie an uns bisschen Geld verdient hat überzeugte sie nicht. Die Frage ob sie wirklich glaube dass wir nach diesem Auftritt nochmal wieder kommen würden blieb unbeantwortet Sowas ist einfach nicht zu fassen dass einem so etwas passiert. Wenn sie keinen Bock hat soll sie doch ihren Laden zu machen aber Hauptsache die Kohle stimmt. Dies passierte so unvermittelt aber bestätigte den Bericht eines Freundes der ebenfalls von dieser Chefin derartig schlecht behandelt wurde.

When my fiancée went forward and asked for tubes, there was no “excuse me”, just a stroppy “there, please” - The bill was wrong and there wasn't enough change, so it's better to do the math yourself - When we asked the team what went wrong and how unfortunate we thought it was, they didn't even apologize. Conclusion: Never again! And I can't recommend anyone to do that. There are much better places for delicious food.

Hello everyone On Sunday I ate with two colleagues at Schwarzbrenner. I actually wanted to reserve a table, but when I tried to call it wasn't picked up. When we got there, we unfortunately had to hear why that was the case because the phone rang on a continuous loop the whole evening and was so loud that you couldn't even block it out outside, which was very annoying was grueling and completely ruined the actually not bad atmosphere (even when the staff was idle, the phone wasn't picked up once) I also ordered the menu pork medallions with mushroom cream sauce and rösti with the changes turkey instead of pork and knöpfle instead of rösti and a colleague also ordered köpfle instead of rösti when ordering and the certificate was written down. None of this is a thing. However, we got the Rösti like on the menu and I had sliced ​​turkey instead of the medallions I ordered (which were also available on the menu). We were then offered a coffee or schnapps as compensation, unfortunately both were not our cup of tea. Maybe there is still work being done on this, especially on noise pollution.

Before I write the same review, I read through the others and apparently the lady with the Swiss accent (the boss's wife, so you can't talk to the boss about it) has problems with children. First of all, I would like to say that I can highly recommend the food itself and I actually ALWAYS enjoy it. There are also really nice employees in the moonshiner who are unfortunately under the wing of the boss's wife/girlfriend. I also have the feeling that the boss himself doesn't feel any different. But that is pure speculation. My best friend and I had dinner there yesterday with our children. Two of the children are just one year old and the third child is just three. As you know, IF you are educated, children like to throw things (food, cutlery, etc.) down. We were greeted very courteously by the previous waitress, Laura, and were often asked about our well-being, but after Laura got off work, we were unfortunately continued to be "served" by the child-unfriendly and totally dissatisfied lady (Swiss accent). No questions were asked as to whether we would like anything else or whether we would like to pay because we were simply ignored. Only after LOUD shouts did she come to the table. Our request to pack up the leftover food was rudely accepted, and we were also excited that the children were so “loud”. She also rambled (complained) to herself. Normally we NEVER leave restaurants without cleaning under the table first because the kids throw everything down. Of course we didn't. After we got out I had to go back in and the lady with the Swiss accent complained loudly plus a very friendly expression on her face (Not). In addition, my daughter and I looked at each other condescendingly! I have to say that these incidents have happened many times and I have avoided this restaurant. However, I think that everyone has a chance, especially because you don't always meet nice guests, but children are children and the children of today are the providers of the pensioners of tomorrow.
