Wie waren Mitte Juni und Anfang Juli dort und beide Male kamen die Bedingungen nicht sehr motiviert zum Tisch. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber der Service passte leider nicht. Man bestellt ein alkoholfreies Weizen nach und bekommt es, obwohl noch nicht mal richtig abgetropft in die Hand gereicht, dementsprechend auf dem Tisch übergeschäumt.

Muss sagen das schnitzel war echt top. Sind spontan vorbei gefahren und waren dann echt begeistert und kommen gerne wieder. Preislich auch überragend.

Eine Instanz in Brombach mit hervorragender Rösti-Kultur.

Vor zwei Tagen rief ich im Restaurant Schwarzbrenner in Lörrach-Brommach an und fragte, ob sie Wildgerichte anbieten. Mir wurde zugesagt. Als ich dort ankam, war alles anders, und sie hatten kein Wild. Also erinnerte ich mich und rief im benachbarten Loft an, um nach dem Speiseangebot zu fragen. Dort hieß es Pasta und ein guter Burger. Daraufhin ging ich ins Loft. Wenn die Angestellten zusagen, lassen sie einen Kunden im Stich. Ich war verärgert, da ich umsonst so weit gefahren war. Es ist ärgerlich, wenn der Besitzer so etwas sagt. Vor ein paar Wochen beschloss ich, es noch einmal zu versuchen, mit dem Gedanken: „Was beim ersten Mal passiert ist, kann ja wieder passieren.“ Vielleicht hatte sie mich beim letzten Mal nicht richtig verstanden. Ich rief an und sagte: „Guten Morgen, ich würde gerne bei Ihnen essen und Ihre Angebote nutzen.“ Der Besitzer fragte: „Wann kommen Sie denn?“ Ich antwortete: „19 Uhr.“ Der Besitzer: „Oh, Dachterrasse, ja“, aber als ich dort ankam, musste ich warten, bis er da war. Wie oft kam die Gastgeberin denn schon? Ich antwortete: „Guten Abend.“ Ich bestellte einen Tisch. Die Gastgeberin sagte: „Okay, gehen Sie bitte direkt, ohne dass die Gastgeberin mich zum Tisch begleitet.“ Ich war sprachlos. Egal. Kaum saß ich am Tisch, kam nach einer Weile die Kellnerin mit der Rechnung. Wieder sprachlos. „Guten Abend.“ Die Kellnerin antwortete kurz angebunden: „Guten Abend.“ Sie ging weg. Ich suchte mir etwas zu essen. Ich bestellte Schnitzel mit Pommes und Speck, dazu Salat. Als die Kellnerin kam, zeigte ich auf mein Essen: „Ist das so in Ordnung? Ich warte.“ Ich ging auf den Balkon der Bar, um zu fragen, ob der Salat vor dem Essen käme. Wie lange warte ich denn schon? Die Gastgeberin sah mich unhöflich an. Ich sagte: „Entschuldigung“, und fragte, ob der Salat vor dem Hauptgang serviert würde. Die Gastgeberin antwortete in einem sehr unhöflichen Ton: „Sehen Sie nicht, dass ich spreche?“ „Entschuldigung“, sagte ich, woraufhin die Gastgeberin unfreundlich erwiderte: „Normalerweise servieren wir zuerst den Salat.“ Ich antwortete: „Danke.“ Ich ging zurück zum Tisch und wartete auf den Salat, der jedoch nicht kam. Wenig später wurde der Teller mit dem Hauptgang gebracht, und ich fragte die Kellnerin sofort: „Entschuldigung, wo ist der Salat?“ Der Salat stand immer noch da, und die Kellnerin sprach mich mit dem Tonfall eines Stammgastes an, weil der Salat nicht da war. Ich hatte ihn weder bestellt noch bestellt. Ich antwortete, dass der Teller mit Besteck hier wäre, falls nicht. Da aber nicht einmal Besteck vorhanden war, stellte die Kellnerin den Teller ab, holte das Besteck und brachte es mir sehr schnell zurück. Auf dem Teller befanden sich kalte Pommes und eine dünne Scheibe paniertes Fleisch, die etwas größer als ein normales Toastbrot war und ebenfalls kalt war. Als ich den Besitzer darauf hinwies, dass das Essen kalt und die panierte Scheibe klein sei, kümmerte er sich nicht um mich als zahlenden Kunden. Er meinte, wenn sie etwas mehr öffnen würden, könnten sie bezahlen und mich dann gehen lassen – das wäre ja noch höflich! Ich aß das kalte Essen mit der etwas harten panierten Fleischscheibe und musste 16,70 € bezahlen. Auf dem Zettel stand jedoch: Pommes, paniertes Fleisch und Salat 9,50 €. Dazu bestellte ich ein Weizenbier. In keinem Restaurant und auch nicht im Lörracher Stadtteil habe ich jemals mehr als 7 € für ein Weizenbier bezahlt. Ich hoffe, das ganze Geld, das ich Ihnen gegeben habe, landet in der Medizin. Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich es mir tätowieren lassen. Dem Laden 10 Sterne! Das Lokal ist zwar aus Holz, aber angesichts des Service, des Ambientes und des Essens würde ich nicht null, sondern null Sterne vergeben. Der Kundenservice ist einfach nur schlecht, und das gilt für die Besitzer und die Kellnerinnen gleichermaßen. 😡🤬😭👎👎

Preis - Leistung stimmt soweit. Ist nur schade das alles extra bestellt werden muss und somit auch extra kostet..sprich Pommes oder Salat zu Schnitzel kostet extra

Wir haben mit den Motorrädern dort Halt gemacht. Tolle Gartenwirtschaft. Mit dem Service waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren vor wenigen Tagen schon einmal im Schwarzbrenner und waren rundum begeistert – vor allem von der sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Bedienung. Deshalb wollten wir heute mit Geschäftspartnern erneut dort essen. Trotz zahlreicher unreservierter Tische wurden wir von einem älteren Herrn sehr unhöflich und in strengem Ton abgewiesen mit der Begründung, das Restaurant sei unterbesetzt und es sei kein platz. Kurz darauf erhielten andere Gäste ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Tisch. Das hat uns sehr enttäuscht, zumal wir extra aus Freiburg angereist waren. Schade, denn das Essen und der Service beim ersten Besuch waren wirklich top.

Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe da und konnten sowohl das Essen, als auch die Atmospähre geniessen. Trotz unserer großen Gruppe ging es relativ schnell und der Kellner und die Kellnerin waren freundlich und geduldig mit uns. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.👍🏾

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal dort und es hat immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Preise gehen auch in Ordnung. Deshalb ist es meist voll. (Vorbestellen!) Es wird trotzdem immer versucht einen Platz zu finden. Es gibt auch kostenlose Parkplätze, die oft schon belegt sind. (Ich rate ab, in der Nebenstraße zu parken. Es wird streng das Parkverbot kontrolliert!)

Wir haben hervorragend gegessen, die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Der Service war gut. Ich empfehle, zu reservieren, da es oft voll wird und man sonst nur schwer einen Tisch bekommt.

Wir sind mit einer Gruppe von Freunden dort eingekehrt und wurden vom ersten Moment an äußerst unfreundlich behandelt. Die Atmosphäre war sofort angespannt. Eine Dame begrüßte uns in einem herablassenden Ton, fragte nach einer Reservierung und verdrehte dabei demonstrativ die Augen – obwohl zahlreiche Tische frei waren. Nur widerwillig bekamen wir schließlich einen Tisch in einem kalten, ungemütlichen und wenig ansprechenden Raum. Die Kellnerin, die uns bediente, war ebenfalls sehr schlecht gelaunt, unfreundlich und völlig unprofessionell. Sie machte einen Fehler bei der Bestellung, was grundsätzlich kein Problem ist. Anstatt dies jedoch ruhig zu klären, reagierte sie genervt, zog Grimassen und rollte erneut mit den Augen. Ein solches Verhalten gegenüber Gästen ist absolut respektlos. Die Situation eskalierte schließlich, als die Kellnerin eine heftige Diskussion mit meiner Freundin begann und sie lautstark, unhöflich und in einem aggressiven Tonfall zurechtwies. Ich war fassungslos, wie respektlos und unangemessen hier mit Kunden umgegangen wird. So ein Verhalten ist in der Gastronomie schlicht inakzeptabel. Dieser Besuch hat einen extrem negativen Eindruck hinterlassen, der uns noch lange begleiten wird. Wir haben uns unwohl, nicht willkommen und nicht respektiert gefühlt. Definitiv keine Empfehlung

Wurde von Schweizer Fräulein sehr herzlich empfangen, aber danach war die Dame in schwarz mit schwarzen Haaren für uns im Service, als wir bestellt hatten, meinte sie, als sie das Essen gebracht hat. Ich bin doch nicht euer essens aufteile und hatten genug Essen bestellt und getrunken alles in allem fast 100 € würde ich niemandem weiterempfehlen. Wenn die Dame ihren Job nicht liebt, soll sie aufhören.

Excellent food, friendly service, even though the restaurant was packed on Thursday for Sour Liver Day. Sour liver for €9.50 with rösti and salad is something you'd hardly make yourself at home. Highly recommended.

Clearly recognizable convenience products are used in the cooking, and if you think you can stay until closing time to finish your drinks, you'll be disappointed. The owner prioritizes closing time over generating revenue, even though the restaurant remains open after closing time. Furthermore, I find it unacceptable that there's a €25 minimum charge for credit card payments, and that this is printed in small type below the credit card logo at the entrance, making it barely visible to guests.

We were having lunch. The manager was absent. A dark-haired woman in her mid-30s served us first. My companion only pushed the table 3 cm because she couldn't get through, then the drama began. She shouted, "We're not allowed to do that, the manager doesn't want that, etc." I was like, "Okay, sorry, can you explain this in a different, normal tone, etc." There weren't many customers outside, but the few who were there looked at us. A total catfight. Then she called her colleague with glasses, who was in his late 50s, and asked him to take our table's order. She refused. I've been there several times. But something like that...simply outrageous. Guests are definitely not kings there anymore!

The unfriendly owner rudely pointed out a sign we had overlooked. Her tone was completely inappropriate—that's no way to treat guests!

I highly recommend this place. We go there often, whether on special days: Monday: Schnitzel Day Wednesday: Güggele Day Thursday: Leberle Day Or with the menu; everything tastes very good and there's a good selection. Plus, there are always seasonal dishes. The price/performance ratio is definitely right here.

My father and I ate here a few days ago. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still warmly welcomed. We were served by a very nice young lady. She often asked if everything was okay, but not so often that it seemed intrusive. Unfortunately, we were there at the same time as a fairly large group, which was very loud. However, the restaurant can't be blamed for that. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We'd be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be. We've known the owner since 1985 and have eaten there occasionally over the years. Unfortunately, our last visit was very disappointing. Upon entering the restaurant, I overlooked the sign that read "Please wait, we'll show you to your seat." Since only two tables were occupied and the others had "Reserved" signs on them, we waited instead of sitting down. The waitress – with a strong Swiss accent – ​​initially ignored us. When I politely asked where we could sit, I received an unexpectedly brusque reply: "It says so, please wait!" My comment that I had overlooked the sign was met with a shrug and an even sharper reprimand. Such an unfriendly tone is unacceptable to me, especially not towards long-time guests. Friendliness is part of service – and unfortunately, I missed it here. I will not be visiting the restaurant again in the future.

We went without a reservation and they got us a table very quickly. The people who served us were very friendly and provided excellent service. A place with a typical and welcoming atmosphere. The customers sitting at the tables are mostly local people who are happy to see tourists and try to communicate despite the language barrier. Really super appreciated! The (typical) dishes are plentiful, the price is honest (we spent around 21 euros each with a dish and a half) and the beer is served at the perfect temperature! We went there for dinner on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. We hadn't expected to find a free table for two. But we were lucky. We had schnitzel with fries, cordon blu with croquettes, a mixed salad, a cola, coffee, and a mixed ice cream. Everything tasted very good, the quality was also good, and the quantity was sufficient. We were served alternately by two very friendly and attentive people 👍. The price for food and drinks was very reasonable, and we can recommend eating here to anyone who enjoys down-to-earth food. Wir waren dort mit 5 Erwachsenen und drei Kindern und haben gegessen und getrunken. Am Schluss kam die eh schon unfreundliche Chefin und fragte wer das Reserviertschild kaputt gemacht hat. Das Metallschild war einfach nur leicht zusammen gedrückt aber nicht kaputt. Ich hatte sie gefragt was der Sinn ihrer Frage sei und ob sie Geld dafür will. Sie wurde noch patziger und meinte dass sie nur ganz normal gefragt hätte und ja auch nicht bei uns zu Hause etwas kaputt machen würde. Wir waren fassungslos. Ich sagte ihr dass dies nicht kaputt sei da man es einfach wieder zurück biegen konnte. Sie sah es aber nicht ein blieb weiter patzig. Auch das Argument das sie an uns bisschen Geld verdient hat überzeugte sie nicht. Die Frage ob sie wirklich glaube dass wir nach diesem Auftritt nochmal wieder kommen würden blieb unbeantwortet Sowas ist einfach nicht zu fassen dass einem so etwas passiert. Wenn sie keinen Bock hat soll sie doch ihren Laden zu machen aber Hauptsache die Kohle stimmt. Dies passierte so unvermittelt aber bestätigte den Bericht eines Freundes der ebenfalls von dieser Chefin derartig schlecht behandelt wurde.

More canteen style. We were also in the back area of ​​the restaurant; it might have been better at the front in the rustic area.

Most of the time they don't fit anymore because the food portions are so large. You will definitely be full. Price-performance is very good as is the service. However, they were thrown out at 10 p.m - When my fiancée wanted to order a shandy at 9:30 p.m., the waiter accepted the order with a "tz" and a shake of the head - the specially ordered sauces came to the table when the dish was already 3/4 eaten - the tubes were forgotten for the iced coffee. When my fiancée went forward and asked for tubes, there was no “excuse me”, just a stroppy “there, please” - The bill was wrong and there wasn't enough change, so it's better to do the math yourself - When we asked the team what went wrong and how unfortunate we thought it was, they didn't even apologize. Conclusion: Never again! And I can't recommend anyone to do that. There are much better places for delicious food.

I was there in the evening this week to order two vouchers for my loved ones for Christmas! The place is always packed, I have to say, and the food is good! I want to share what I didn't like here! When you enter a room, the first thing you say is hello! That's part of decency! But if nothing comes back from the service side, it surprises me! Sure there is stress everywhere right now but that doesn't hurt! When I was almost forced to ask for the vouchers, I was told that this could only be paid in cash! Sorry moonshine team, in this day and age? Then I left it! I won't be coming back in the future because, in my opinion, the service there wasn't quite right for the first time! You can tell that there are decades of experience behind the stove and behind the counter. The service staff are also great! You feel welcome here and you'll be happy to come back. It is strongly recommended to make reservations, as there are a lot of hungry people who like to come here. I too am a self-confessed repeat offender and have been there a few times.

Today is Monday, October 21st, 2024, I go to the moonshine distillery on the schnitzel day advertised for today and order exactly the daily offer advertised with the picture and price. But I don't even get half of the schitzel offer shown, which was at full price and hasn't been improved. “The photo is out of date.” Enticement offer that reminds me of a deceptive package. No insight from the staff until I left. Too bad. That doesn't fit.

Nice little restaurant that we have now enjoyed four times as a stop for lunch on a longer trip. At lunchtime it is advisable to call ahead and reserve a table, as on all our visits it was always well occupied. The prices are much cheaper here, compared to what awaits you once you have crossed the border a few kilometers further. Very good asparagus dishes in season.
