We were served by two ladies who couldn't be more different. One is incredibly friendly, in a great mood and attentive. The other was very grubby, grumpy and unfriendly. Too bad. Food was good, home cooking as you know it! Menu rather small, but sufficient.

The food is consistently delicious and there is also a covered beer garden. Traditional decor and meals, delicious salads. The restaurant is always busy, but this also means that it is very noisy and conversation becomes almost impossible. Plenty of parking spaces available.

We were guests at the Schwarzbrenner today, at lunchtime. We were seated quickly and the order was taken quickly. The small salad was an imposition, something was wrong with the dressing. So ordered another one and got the same thing. Bean salad wasn't dressed, is it asking too much to add savory and onions? The rest of the meal was nothing special, it was ok. Conclusion: mass production is used. The price-performance ratio is not justified. Would I go again? No.

Went there for lunch today. Was served quickly. Food also came quickly. Unfortunately finished products...buttons probably mixed with burgers and sauces. Salad not edible. Hello everyone On Sunday I ate with two colleagues at Schwarzbrenner. I actually wanted to reserve a table, but when I tried to call it wasn't picked up. When we got there, we unfortunately had to hear why that was the case because the phone rang on a continuous loop the whole evening and was so loud that you couldn't even block it out outside, which was very annoying was grueling and completely ruined the actually not bad atmosphere (even when the staff was idle, the phone wasn't picked up once) I also ordered the menu pork medallions with mushroom cream sauce and rösti with the changes turkey instead of pork and knöpfle instead of rösti and a colleague also ordered köpfle instead of rösti when ordering and the certificate was written down. None of this is a thing. However, we got the Rösti like on the menu and I had sliced ​​turkey instead of the medallions I ordered (which were also available on the menu). We were then offered a coffee or schnapps as compensation, unfortunately both were not our cup of tea. Maybe there is still work being done on this, especially on noise pollution.

Before I write the same review, I read through the others and apparently the lady with the Swiss accent (the boss's wife, so you can't talk to the boss about it) has problems with children. First of all, I would like to say that I can highly recommend the food itself and I actually ALWAYS enjoy it. There are also really nice employees in the moonshiner who are unfortunately under the wing of the boss's wife/girlfriend. I also have the feeling that the boss himself doesn't feel any different. But that is pure speculation. My best friend and I had dinner there yesterday with our children. Two of the children are just one year old and the third child is just three. As you know, IF you are educated, children like to throw things (food, cutlery, etc.) down. We were greeted very courteously by the previous waitress, Laura, and were often asked about our well-being, but after Laura got off work, we were unfortunately continued to be "served" by the child-unfriendly and totally dissatisfied lady (Swiss accent). No questions were asked as to whether we would like anything else or whether we would like to pay because we were simply ignored. Only after LOUD shouts did she come to the table. Our request to pack up the leftover food was rudely accepted, and we were also excited that the children were so “loud”. She also rambled (complained) to herself. Normally we NEVER leave restaurants without cleaning under the table first because the kids throw everything down. Of course we didn't. After we got out I had to go back in and the lady with the Swiss accent complained loudly plus a very friendly expression on her face (Not). In addition, my daughter and I looked at each other condescendingly! I have to say that these incidents have happened many times and I have avoided this restaurant. Mediocrity: the only thing that is attractive is the draft beer. The Rösti are simply tasteless or prepared carelessly, and the accompanying pork schnitzel also tasted like nothing. The location is designed for mass processing, so don't expect anything and then maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. The service diminished as the evening progressed - when no one cared about us anymore, we asked for the bill. We're definitely not coming back.

Today my wife and I ate here and weren't so convinced at first because the entrance area was more reminiscent of a pub. However, the rear area surprised us positively. We were taken directly to our table by the staff. After a short wait, we were asked about our wishes. The food didn't take long to arrive. In the picture you can see what I ordered. Mein Schwager hat mich zum essen eingeladen und sind dabei im Schwarzbrenner bei Lörrach gelandet. Schwarzbrenner ist ein Lokal mit rustikaler Einrichtung. Das Essen ist reichlich und sehr gut. Nur hatte ich das Gefühl dass bekannte Gäste mit der Bedienung vorgezogen werden. Bedienung aber freundlich. Empfehlenswert ist aber trotzdem.

Ich komme sehr gerne hierhin! Gute deutsche Küche und die Schnitzel sind absolut zu empfehlen 🤤 Die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend und sollten jede:n sattbekommen. Der Service ist klasse und man wird gut beraten. Weiter so! 🎯

Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet und kommt in Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Das Restaurant ist urig und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Gartenwirtschaft groß und trotz Nähe zur Straße sehr ruhig. Die Bedienungen sind alle, durch die Bank durch, total nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder ☺️

sehr leckeres Essen und toller Service

Essen ist nichtmehr das, was es mal war. Früher viel besser geschmeckt mittlerweile werden salate wie bspw. Kartoffelsalat 1zu1 mit etwas frischem schnittlauch vom Großhandel aus Mühlheim verkauft(schmeckt 1 zu 1 gleich). Die Chefin mit Schweizer Akzent ist extrem unfreundlich erst recht wenn man sich beschwert (durch bspw. Gurken im Salat obwohl es extra gesagt wurde, etc.) Preise sind natürlich angestiegen wie überall sonst auch das kann man nicht vorwerfen, was man aber kann ist dass gleichzeitig die Portionen dazu runtergegangen sind. Alles in allem schade was aus so einem schönen Restaurant geworden ist.

Essen war wie immer sehr gut, nur diesmal mussten wir 45 min auf unseren Beilagensalat warten kurz darauf war auch schon der Hauptgang da, auf Nachfrage ob die Zwei Soßen noch serviert werden kam nach 5 min eine Soße an mit der Frage was die andere für eine Soße war die fehlende Soße wurde von uns dann abbestellt weil wir zur Hälfte schon leer gegessen haben. Begründung war vom Service es ist ziemlich voll was auch verständlich ist man hätte die Situation anders lösen können indem man die Gäste auf die Verzögerung aufmerksam macht.

Op onze terug reis vanuit Italië overnacht in Weil am rhein, heerlijk gegeten in dit restaurant in Lörrach . Het was allemaal super lekker, de Zweine steak, de Snitsels , de Puten steak met champignons en zeker ook de frietjes! Vriendelijke bediening en grote drankjes. Tot ziens!!

Hervorragendes Lokal mit einem sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Team. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen. Vorwiegend Schweitzer Menüs. Die Menükarte bietet eine Große Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen, wo es sicher für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden gibt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und mit angenehm guten Portionen, wird hier ganz bestimmt niemand hungrig bleiben. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder.

Um 19.00 wäre dies vielleicht in Ordnung. Die wissen wie viele Portionen nötig sind. Man muss wohl um 18 Uhr da sein. Um 18.30 bracht man wohl nicht mehr hin

Kleine aber feine Wirtschaft wo man gut bürgerlich einkehren kann! Netter Service, gutes Essen und nettes Ambiente ! Parkplätze sind etwas wenig vor der Wirtschaft aber das ist auch der Lage geschuldet.

Wir hatten mit einigen Arbeitskollegen Plätze für einen gemütlichen Abend reserviert. Die Abstimmung im Vorfeld für den Abend war unkompliziert. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, schnell - wie auch die Küche - und immer hilfsbereit. Die Gerichte waren allesamt lecker, und jeder wurde satt. Ich - und wohl auch der Rest der Runde - war sehr zufrieden!

Das Essen ist wirklich gut und reichlich, da kann man nicht meckern. Leider mussten wir viel zu lange warten, obwohl wir zu einem Geburtstag mit 12 Personen angemeldet waren. 2 Stunden Wartezeit ist einfach zu lang. um 21.00 Uhr konnten wir endlich essen, nachdem draussen die Leute kamen und schon wieder gingen. Geht gar nicht. Der Geburtstag war verdorben, weil alle stinkig waren.

The Schwarzbrenner is a very nice place in Lörrach. We went there during a bike day trip from Basel. They have excellent food with a menu filled with delicious Swabian specialties. Also, a good selection of some of the best German beers, including some from the area. Highly recommended!

Lively restaurant on edge of town centre and although fluent English wasn't spoken we muddled through and took a chance by looking around at what others had. It was very busy so we figured that it must be popular - which is a good enough sign for me. Some things were known like schnitzel but others were a pleasant surprise, like the version of pasta. As you might expect the beer was very good. All in all it was very tasty, good portion sizes and at a reasonable cost
