Bianca´s Hotel Restaurant Hirschen in Lörrach

We booked this hotel as an overnight stop on our return trip from Italy to Germany after a motorcycle tour. Upon check-in, the hotel's namesake/owner wasn't very friendly. It seems to be her way to appear somewhat grumpy, even if she doesn't really mean to, but it leaves a slightly unpleasant impression. She showed us our rooms and pointed out that the entrance to the hotel/dining area would be closed in the morning and that we would have to leave the hotel via a kind of covered terrace and an external staircase through the beer garden. My room wasn't large: a double bed, a wardrobe with eight hangers, no two of which were alike, a bedside table, a small table against the wall, and a chair. That's about all that could fit. The window overlooked the beer garden. It was appropriate for the price range. The towels were adequate; they were freshly laundered and smelled pleasant. The bed was more comfortable than it looked, the duvet was too warm for the weather (so I didn't use it), and the pillows were much too large and thick. The water stood in a large, wide puddle in the bathroom, about half a centimeter deep at the shower tray. I considered sacrificing my towels and drying it myself, but then decided against it, got dressed again, and went downstairs to "Bianca" to ask her to take care of it. It took her a moment to understand what I wanted, and she explained that the cleaning lady had already cleaned the room... so she grabbed a mop and mopped up the water. A little moisture remained, but it dried quickly with the window open. The shower is quite cramped; if you turn around in it, you accidentally change the water temperature setting. The shower head is huge and heavy; it probably once had a hundred different settings but has lost the battle against limescale. After finishing my shower, I discovered that the shower wasn't leaking, and the floor was dry... I didn't use the hairdryer, whose cord was loosely draped over the door frame and then plugged into an outlet. The roller blind on the window was broken; the winding mechanism was lying on the windowsill. To open the window, I had to carry the blind to the small table. The plastic box containing the roller blind strap was hanging on by only one screw, so I decided not to use the blind as a precaution. The next morning, after showering, a bit of thread fell out of the towel. I picked it up and threw it in the small wastebasket in the bathroom. I then noticed that it hadn't been emptied; in fact, it was half full. So much for "The cleaning lady did a good job!" The beer garden is located in the building's courtyard. That's not a problem, since the hotel is on a main road. The courtyard is shady and pleasant, with plenty of greenery and several large umbrellas. The tables and chairs are fine. However, the entire surrounding area looks neglected, very old, and in some places simply dilapidated. The beer garden is located in the courtyard behind the building. The cook stands in the kitchen, dressed in civilian clothes (jeans, t-shirt), with the door open, preparing food without gloves or a hat. When he's not working, he sits in the same clothes with friends in the beer garden. My side salad was simple but fresh: a few lettuce leaves, a lot of the tough heart of the lettuce, two slices of cucumber, and half a tomato. The "Hunter's Schnitzel with Spätzle (large portion)" consisted of two schnitzels and noodles that were short and curly, resembling Spätzle. The schnitzels weren't breaded! I left almost the entire second schnitzel; it was sinewy and gristly. My first drink, a large Coke, was nice and cold. All the other soft drinks I had were at room temperature and had to be chilled with ice cubes. A restaurant serving only one cold Coke on a warm Friday evening! Conclusion: Really only for the most hardy and undemanding overnight guests.

The hotel is a tragedy, the rooms are very old and without atmosphere. The toilet is not clean, as is the shower, or covered in shit or piss. The service is very unpleasant and drunk. There is a bar on the hotel premises where there are only alcoholics or gamblers. The rooms are without love and broken, cold water in the bathroom and no heating. The cables for the lamps stick out of the walls, the hotel doors are open all day and all night. The TV is also without function, the hotel is not worth the price!!! I do not recommend it even to my opponents

The hotel was very disappointing. The rooms are poorly furnished and very dated. The advertised private bathroom was a toilet with a door and a shower in the room that was open at the top. The sink was located right next to the bed. There were a lot of almost empty shower gels and shampoos in the shower. I wasn't entirely sure whether these had been provided by the hotel or left behind by previous guests. The bedding was made of 100% polyester. Very uncomfortable. I woke up sweating several times a night. For €67 a night, I expect cotton. I generally woke up early because one of the two blinds in my room was broken and wouldn't close. This meant the sun shone directly in my face in the morning. The rooms weren't cleaned in the four days I was there. The bed remained untouched. A key in the hotel's outer door had also broken off, leaving it permanently unlocked. So a potential thief would have only had the room door as an obstacle. And the lock wasn't particularly secure either. For €67 a night, I expect much more. It doesn't deserve the name "hotel." "Motel" would probably be more appropriate. And the price is simply too high for that. Especially since I'm currently seeing prices starting at €83 per night. That price is simply outrageous. I'll never come back. And I would recommend anyone else to find another hotel.

Hotel for one night. The parking lot is small, there is no breakfast, the restaurant is open from 16.00.

I live in the same city and I have reserved one room for a friend who come from another city for holiday. The room was clean and everything was ok with one exception: The hotel owner (A Romanian woman) was very rude, and my friend was insulted (bad words, cannot be reproduced here). I recommend staying away from this hotel and this owner who does not know what respect is and swears at his customers.

Dass der Besitzer (Nebi Zeneli (Jimmy)) sich selbst 5 Sterne vergibt und sich dann noch fürs Posten bedankt .... sehr fragwürdig.

Schöne Gartenwirtschaft,reichhaltige Portionen...

Waren jetzt schon sehr oft dort essen. Es schmeckt einfach toll, egal ob Pasta Pizza oder deutsche Küche... es schmeckt lecckkkaaaaa. Alle sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit ist auch sehr angenehm.

Das Ambiente war schön und machte einen ordentlichen Eindruck. Die Pizza war sehr lecker, diese ist auch weiter zu empfehlen. Die Lasagne ist geschmacklich okay, doch leider wird Sie nur erwärmt. Meine war nach dem zweiten Erwärmen nicht richtig warm... Das Personal ist dennoch sehr freundlich. Mann kann dort lecker essen, doch keine Lasagne .. Da die Pizza, jedoch sehr lecker und das Personal (Inhaber) sehr nett waren hat das Restaurant trotzdem 3-4 Sterne verdient.

Einfach und gemütlich hier. Sehr nette Wirtsleute. Das Cordon bleu machen sie hier sehr gut! Gute Portionen. Preis / Leistung gibts nichts auszusetzen. 👍

Hatte Kalbs Cordon-bleu (19€). War sehr lecker, nette und freundliche Bedienung.

Nette und freundliche Besitzer. Ambiente im Garten nicht übermässig stylisch, aber nette bürgerliche Hinterhofatmosphäre. Leider mussten wir sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Das Essen entsprach nicht ganz den Erwartungen - Spätzle nicht selbst gemacht, das Steak wurde mit Pommes statt wie beschrieben mit Rösti geliefert und die Garstufe lag 4 (!) Stufen daneben (bestellt „blutig“ bis „medium rare“, erhalten „well done“). Aber wir erhielten eine nette Entschuldigung und ich denke aufgrund der anderen Rezensionen wird das Mittagsmenü an Werktagen besser ausfallen als à la carte am Wochenende.

Ich gehe jetzt seit einiger zeit in dieses Resteraunt und muss sagen sehr nette bedienung man bekommt sein essen schnell und es schmeckt einfach nur lecker und man bekommt was das herz begehrt

Wäre schön, wenn die neuen Öffnungszeiten im Internet stehen würden. Waren heute (an meinem Geburtstag) vor verschlossenen Türen. Hat uns sehr geärgert, da wir extra vorher nach den Öffnungszeiten gegoogelt haben. Jetzt hat halt ein anderer Wirt an uns verdient.....
