Consistently good, cozy restaurant with Bavarian flair and reasonable prices.

A very nice restaurant with delicious food, great service and it is also very child-friendly. My only suggestion for the future: a changing table would be nice. Otherwise we were very satisfied and would like to come back.

I used to really enjoy being there. We are a group of several people who live in the neighborhood. But the portions are sometimes OUTRAGEOUSLY small. I really wouldn't be writing this if I wasn't completely horrified. The duck I recently ordered didn't even satisfy my 45 kilo colleague. A few pieces of meat, a dollop of red cabbage and a tiny dumpling. The whole thing cost 24 euros. Since then we have said to each other that we will not come back to eat there. Inflation or not, you can still expect an inexpensive main course to fill you up.

Extremely delicious breakfast. No matter whether it's white sausage with mustard and pretzels, pancakes, freshly baked croissants, bread or the quality of fruit and vegetables. Simply pure enjoyment across the board. Very tasty coffee and super friendly service. An absolute insider for excellent breakfast/brunch in Schwabing.

We were here for dinner for the first time. Unfortunately we have to say that the food is very expensive in relation to the quantity. We had the fish and the ravioli and it was really pretty straightforward. The taste was super delicious but please a little more of everything. We also reported this back to the service person, but she only asked us if we would like to look at the map again. If prices are already being raised everywhere in the catering industry, please don't reduce the portion size as well.

After a long time again in Wassernann-Schwabing. It was very nice. Drinks (including spirits), food and very nice service. Everything fine. Birthday party 5/22 with many colleagues, everything was great, great service. Update 2024: The bar operation is great, as is the service. The dishes like steak and burgers and the home fries are so delicious.

We have been coming over spontaneously for years and feel very comfortable. The quality of the dishes and service are always perfect - at lunchtime and in the evening.

I recently had lunch with a friend at Wassermann (outdoor area). Unfortunately, the proud waitress showed little understanding for a special request. It is not possible to get a salad instead of vegetables with the pike perch fillet. In addition, the triplets (potatoes) are “counted out”, which means that you cannot order any more. Normally the young ladies in service at Aquarius are extremely friendly. However, this slightly older waitress behaved in a very condescending manner. Next time I will place myself outside of their area of ​​operation. If a change to the supplement is not possible, then you just have to accept that. But we didn't like the way it was communicated at all.

Die Bratkartoffeln beim Schnitzel waren verbrannt & mein Fischgericht hat zu viel Fett über dem Gemüse und dem Fisch gehabt. Hat nur nach Fett geschmeckt ... Habe dort schon richtig gutes Lammfleisch gegessen, dagegen war das Essen nicht gut.

It's lovely to eat outside in the summer. The staff is very nice and you can find a meal for everyone (especially vegetarian and vegan).

Stylish location, varied standard menu and day menu, value for money is good, nice and attentive service. I like the mixed audience: from seniors who eat lunch alone, to young people who meet for a late breakfast, to colleagues who are there after work to eat/drink.

Es war sehr schön. Wir hatten draußen einen Tisch. Es sind zwar immer wieder Autos vorbeigefahren, aber eher nur hin und wieder mal. Also es war nicht so laut (je nachdem welche Tischnachbarn man natürlich bekommt ;)) Das Essen war sehr gut. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir zu zweit den Büffelmozzarella mit Tomaten und Rucola. Das war echt sehr gut. Ich habe den Beyond Burger mit Süßkartoffelpommes ausprobiert. Mir persönlich hat das Patty nicht so geschmeckt, aber der Rest vom Burger und die Pommes, die auch noch gewürzt waren, waren klasse. Mein Freund hatte das Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Leider waren die Kartoffeln für unseren Geschmack nur wenig gewürzt und ein bisschen zu ölig. Deswegen würden er das nächste Mal eher Pommes anstatt Bratkartoffeln nehmen. Und die Nachspeisen kann ich nur empfehlen. Ich hatte Molleaux au chocolat (Schokokuchen mit flüssigem Kern) und mein Freund hatte eine Mascarponecreme mit Erdbeeren.

Good food, but small menu options

I used to LOVE the Wassermann in Glockenbach. Happy to see that this restaurant is also FAB, food was tasty and reasonable and a nice atmosphere. Wait staff was OUTSTANDING!!

Great breakfeast menu, service and outdoor seating.

The breakfast tasted good but was completely overpriced. The bread basket doesn't deserve the name - only 3 small slices of baguette per person and not even a fresh roll. And the cheese was just 3 extra thin tiny Emmental slices. Ow Otherwise a very clear plate. You won't really get full from breakfast. I would have expected more for the steep price.

Although it's a big restaurant but it has its charm. We were sitting inside as it was super hot outside! I had wiener schnitzel, which I can highly recommend! They service was very attentive! It has a big inside area to sit and outside around the restaurant you can also sit! If you like traditional Bavaria, which is a mixture of international food, then this is a place for you! I can only recommend it!!

Leute, was war das denn?? Ihr könnt doch nicht in einem Raum 2 Minuten Verzögerung zwischen dem einen kleinen TV und allen anderen Leinwänden und Fernsehern haben?! Von jedem Platz im Lokal hätte man gut sehen können ohne dass 3 Leute schon gejubelt haben. Da macht auch der gute Service keinen Spaß wenn man permanent schon weiß dass etwas, das aussieht wie ein guter Konter oder eine große Chance, nischt wird.

A breath of fresh air in Schwabinger Wassermann. After a long period of abstinence, we are positively surprised by the good quality of the cuisine, the friendly staff and, last but not least, the modern gastronomic atmosphere. Always worth a visit. ☀️

The waitress was unfriendly and unwilling to come to the table. The portion for 28€ Wienerschnitzel wouldn't be enough for a 10 year old child... Ambience was wonderful.

Great spot to watch the Euro24 game with friends. The food, drinks and service were all on point. I'd definitely come back for a regular dinner as well. This would be a fun date night spot or a place to have beers with a group of friends.

Leider war die Bedienung etwas unorganisiert. Wir mussten 45 Minutem warten bis wir Getränke bekammen (nach 2-maligen Nachfragen.). Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend, dafür hat sich auch die lange Wartezeit gelohnt. Der Kellner war, trotz enormem Stress, sehr freundlich und sogar noch zum Spaßen aufgelegt.

Schwabinger Wassermann können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Haven't been to this restaurant in a while - you can probably risk it for a Sunday walk stopover with a cappuccino and a croissant. We thought so. Sitting down outside, ordering was placed relatively quickly: two cappus, two croissants and two glasses of tap water. The coffee came after about 25 minutes. After the waitress came out ignoring us for the third time, I headed towards the counter to remember the rest of the order. Then she “already” came towards me, but without the water. That's what happened after all, as I remembered. Anyway. The coffee was an imposition: lukewarm, bitter, horrible. The croissants were fine, the water tasted soapy. The whole thing for 18 euros! 5.50 for a bad cold cappuccino, thank you very much, never again.

Very cozy and typical Bavarian Gasthaus. The food was good with a wide choice of dishes from all over the world. Delicious fish or red snapper with safran risotto. I would have liked to eat Bavarian food, but the Grostl were out and the Schweinebraten were only available on Saturdays and Sundays.

There is one star for the nice staff. Otherwise completely overpriced, poor quality, the breakfast for 18 euros doesn't even include fresh rolls. Plus we waited over an hour and the eggs were served cold. The room is loud and has bad air. That was my last visit.

I’ve lived in Germany 6 years and have never had such a horrendously rude experience with a waitress! My boyfriend and I were weekly customers of Wassermann. We loved the atmosphere, food, cocktails and friendliness of the staff. However; after tonight NEVER again while SHE is working! Despite only ever having positive things to say about the excellent staff, tonight the waitress went out of her way to be rude, unfriendly and ignore us. Immediately after we ordered cocktails, she rushed back to tell us that card games were forbidden- despite the fact we’ve literally play card games the 100 other times we've been in Wassermann in the past two years. When I asked politely to speak to manager to find the reason why cards between a couple on date night were suddenly banned- she shouted, rolled her eyes and stormed off. The manager came and to his credit was super friendly- he said he was at the mercy of his boss (and his daughter the waitress). He was very kind and handled the situation in a professional and sympathetic manner. The waitress however was hell bent on continuing to ignore us for the rest of the evening. She attended the table directly next to us, but then dismissed us completely when we wanted to order more drinks. When I went to pay and wanted to leave a tip in cash, she said nothing but the total of my bill and wouldn’t make eye contact. So, I gave the tip to the bar staff instead who deserved it more than a spiteful waitress that I heard her muttering unflattering words in German about me as I left. Despite the kindness of the manager and amazing cocktail skills of the bar staff, the waitress made me us feel incredibly uncomfortable, unwelcome, and went out of her way to ignore us. It is a real shame our weekly date night place has been ruined by one insufferable waitress.

Wenn man einen frühen Termin reserviert, ist es wunderbar. Später versteht man sein eigenes Wort leider nicht mehr, da der Raum eine sehr laute Akustik hat. Aber das ist Geschmacksache. Der Service war sehr angenehm und freundlich. Das Schnitzel mit Fries kann ich empfehlen.

Ich liebe das Frühstück und Ambiente. Nicht grad günstig aber die Qualität ist sehr gut.

Absolute recommendation if you don't want to commit to one type of cuisine. Wide range of Bavarian, Italian and Thai cuisine and burgers. Normally something like this always sounds a bit strange. But those in Aquarius can do everything - very tasty! Plus a nice atmosphere and good service. Gladly again!!

Es war voll, entsprechend auch etwas langsamer Service. Die Frühstücksteller sind etwas zu simpel gemessen am Preis. Aber alles in allem alles gut gelungen.

Das sehr gute Essen, die ruhige Umgebung, der freundlichen Service, schafft eine Atmosphäre des allgemeinen Wohlbefindens. Unser Abschiedsworte sind jedesmal „wir kommen wieder!“

Geh hier immer gerne zum Abendessen hin. Der Service ist wirklich sehr freundlich. Vor allem die Burger schmecken hier richtig gut!

Der Schwabinger Wassermann ist inzwischen unser Standard Restaurant, in dem man gut und unkompliziert essen kann. Wir bestellen immer unterschiedliche Gerichte und wurden tatsächlich noch nie enttäuscht! Das Lachs-Tartar ist genauso gut wie der Burger, die Tom Kha Gai überzeugt ebenso wie das Wiener Schnitzel. Service immer freundlich und schnell - ganz klare Empfehlung!

Für ein Geburtstagsfrühstück absolut zu empfehlen. Frühstück & Service waren hervorragend. Es gab sogar für uns 4 Sekt und eine Tiramisú mit Feuerfontäne. Auch für Blumen wurde ne Vase gestellt. War ein sehr schönes Geburtstagserlebnis dort! Sehr toll!

Nettes Lokal, gute Frühstücksauswahl. Schwabinger Preise, also im Rahmen für die Gegend. Kaffee leider schwach und bitter, bei einem Frühstückslokal enttäuschend. Super nettes Personal.

Waren zum Sonntags-Frühstück hier. Der Wassermann war schon relativ voll. Am Besten sollte man vorher reservieren. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen und zum Tisch gebracht. Die Frühstücke waren ausreichend (wir wurden alle satt)
