Unfortunately, another big disappointment. I was last here many years ago and thought I'd give breakfast another try. Just like last time: stingy portions. The shakshuka came without an egg, or maybe with half an egg? Greek yogurt with barely noticeable honey. €12 for two cappuccinos? Unfortunately, it wasn't value for money. One waiter was trying hard. The waitress was unfortunately impatient, unfriendly, didn't really listen, and rolled her eyes. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience and certainly my last visit. This place needs to put more heart and soul into its food.

Not speaking to someone in a friendly manner

The breakfast is highly recommended! Everything is very well prepared. The matcha chino, the scrambled eggs, and the Greek yogurt are particularly recommended. Breakfast can be ordered to go and can be pre-ordered the day before. The service is very friendly and attentive.

The breakfast is great – the pancakes are especially highly recommended! Even when it's busy, you can get food and drinks quickly. When the place is full, it can get a bit loud and uncomfortable, but that's a matter of taste, of course. Overall, highly recommended!

Nice place, and the outdoor seating is quite pleasant when it's not too busy. We'd probably go there more often, but unfortunately the prices are too high, even by Schwabing standards. A burger with fries costs 21.90, just to give you an example. If everything tasted outstanding, it would be fine, but the price-performance ratio just isn't quite right. The tartar is ground and not sliced, not bad, but just average.

The music was a little too loud to talk. It took forever to order a beer, another to get the food, and another to pay, because we were a large table and everyone paid for their own thing. The waiter wasn't on his game and it bothered him. The place is nice, the food leaves a little to be desired in terms of quantity and value for money. Hip without the top...

We were there one afternoon. Very few tables were occupied. Although several servers were working, we tried several times to order from someone. 20 minutes later, we finally had the chance. The waitress who was actually in charge of our tables was mostly standing behind the bar, busy on her phone. The baked eggplant was delicious, but extremely oily. We also ordered the large portion of Kaiserschmarrn to share, but received a mini pancake. We asked if there was a mistake, but they confirmed that even the large portion was small. And that for the hefty price of €18.90. The taste was a dream, but the portion size was only enough for one person. The table was cleared about 45 minutes after we finished. There were still hardly any tables occupied, which would explain the inattentiveness of the staff. The food was delicious. The prices were quite high, though. Service was nonexistent.

A solid restaurant with a wide selection of dishes, from Bavarian dishes to burgers and even vegetarian options. My Wiener Schnitzel was excellent, but unfortunately, it didn't come with many rosemary potatoes, and I would have preferred a small salad. The service was very attentive and quick.

We ended our Munich vacation at the Schwabinger Wassermann in the evening. What can we say - if you don't visit this restaurant during your vacation, you're missing out. The food was delicious. For Munich, in our opinion, it's good value for money, especially knowing that everything is freshly prepared. The portion sizes were sufficient for us; there was even room left for a delicious Kaiserschmarrn (highly recommended). We'd also like to mention the service at this point; our waitresses (two gentlemen) were second to none in terms of friendliness and charisma. Were invited here for a birthday. Unfortunately it was very loud right from the start (7 p.m.) and since we were all sitting at a long table it was very difficult to have conversations. There is no children's menu and probably no changing table either. The food was good and plentiful. Unfortunately, the service was sometimes disorganized and always didn't show anything for a long time. But basically polite.

Wanderer, kommst Du nach Schwabing, kehre ein beim „Wassermann“. Ein tolles Lokal, wir waren hier 3x zum Frühstück und 1x zum Abendessen, es war ganz toll, feine Speisen, zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal, angenehmes Ambiente, eine Lampe aus Metallfolie in Rot/Braun, sehr extravaganter Lichtspender.

Despite nice service and good food, only 2 stars - thanks to the new shift manager, who probably has the ideal image of his restaurant in mind without relaxed regulars' tables with card games. We were asked to leave the restaurant because of our Doppelkopf round.

The restaurant later turned into a cool bar - a great atmosphere with fantastic drinks. We would particularly like to highlight the attentive and super-friendly staff. A real highlight in Munich – if we are in Munich again, we will definitely come back!

We were here for breakfast on Saturday a week ago. Not for the first time, but definitely for the last time. Even in the cafeteria of a furniture store, I would expect a different response from the service staff to my comments. But it is probably more important to have an eyelash that is reminiscent of the flapping wings of an African spotted eagle than to show empathy in service. Be that as it may, now to the process. In one of the five breakfasts the raspberries were moldy. It's not bad at first - things like that can happen. Everything else around it was fine and tasted very good and was brought to the table attractively. The feedback regarding the raspberries was accepted without comment, as was the advice that you should keep an eye on them in the kitchen. This was also ignored. I don't even want to go into how long it took to prepare my second latte. The crowning moment for me was that when I commented that I had a locking clip in my Bircher muesli, the answer came: “What’s piling up at the table”. Sorry guys, you might hear that in a fast food restaurant - but not here.

We were in Munich for 2 days and the breakfast in the hotel wasn't the first choice, which is why we looked for a restaurant on OpenTable and came across Schwabinger Wassermann. The breakfast was great on both days - fresh, tasty, plenty and varied. Simply great! The team was first class on both December 31st and January 1st, super friendly and on the ball. Great class, although not only these days but also the weeks before were particularly stressful. Big praise. We'll definitely take a look again when we're in Munich.

Successful mix of classic and modern... you sit very comfortably. The staff are very friendly, excellent service and a really great breakfast, you have to go if you are in Munich. There is also a great evening menu. We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Munich.

Very nice atmosphere with good food. You can find both local food and international food. We ate Topkapı (omelette) and Kaiserschumarnn. I just loved Kaiser it was so delicious ! A little warning for the English speaker customers, the stuff may not know English :) so, be prepared.

Very tasty food (good selection too) at normal prices in Munich. There were four of us and everyone was very satisfied with the taste. Unfortunately, there were compromises in the portion size, which was not satisfactory and was too small. Nobody was really full and that's a bit bitter. So desserts had to be ordered - but they were all a delight. Cozy, Bavarian atmosphere and definitely worth a visit. The friendly waiter Carsten was outstanding: you can tell he's really up for it, personable, good wine advice, he can simply provide service.

Really chic place. Whether it's a delicious beer or just a coffee. I honestly have mixed opinions when it comes to food. The last few times the portions were really small. So small that even the children couldn't get enough. At a whopping 25 euros per meal, that's quite an announcement. The taste is good but the ratio to the price just doesn't fit.

I used to really enjoy being there. We are a group of several people who live in the neighborhood. But the portions are sometimes OUTRAGEOUSLY small. I really wouldn't be writing this if I wasn't completely horrified. The duck I recently ordered didn't even satisfy my 45 kilo colleague. A few pieces of meat, a dollop of red cabbage and a tiny dumpling. The whole thing cost 24 euros. Since then we have said to each other that we will not come back to eat there. Inflation or not, you can still expect an inexpensive main course to fill you up.

We were here for dinner for the first time. Unfortunately we have to say that the food is very expensive in relation to the quantity. We had the fish and the ravioli and it was really pretty straightforward. The taste was super delicious but please a little more of everything. We also reported this back to the service person, but she only asked us if we would like to look at the map again. If prices are already being raised everywhere in the catering industry, please don't reduce the portion size as well.

I recently had lunch with a friend at Wassermann (outdoor area). Unfortunately, the proud waitress showed little understanding for a special request. It is not possible to get a salad instead of vegetables with the pike perch fillet. In addition, the triplets (potatoes) are “counted out”, which means that you cannot order any more. Normally the young ladies in service at Aquarius are extremely friendly. However, this slightly older waitress behaved in a very condescending manner. Next time I will place myself outside of their area of ​​operation. If a change to the supplement is not possible, then you just have to accept that. But we didn't like the way it was communicated at all.
