Der Schwaben/Wintergarten von der Atmosphäre sehr schön. Essen und Getränke eine Katastrophe. Die verkaufen dir fertige Rote Würste, die wer weiß wie lange schon im Topf liegen und dann nur kurz noch auf den Elektrogrill kommen zum aufwärmen. 5,50€! Sorry, aber eine Frechheit. Glühwein und andere Heissgetränke werden in kalten Tassen serviert. Dh der Glühwein ist lauwarm und nach ca 3 Minuten eiskalt. Auch für 5,00€. Die Flammkuchen sind gekauft und werden dann belegt. Uff 14,50!!! Sorry, finde es eigentlich sehr schön hier. Aber wahrscheinlich bringen wir beim nächsten Mal unsere Getränke und Essen selber mit im Rucksack.

Everything was wonderful, from the cabin setting, the timing and organization, the layout of the buffet and tables, the food and drinks, and the service. The whole event ran so smoothly, all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. Our group included around 35 adults and 15 children, and both the parents and children appreciated the playground. The food was delicious, the pretzels and chicken wings being favorites, as well as the beautiful fresh fruits. Everyone had a fantastic time! Highly recommend the Schwabengarten, for small or large groups. It is a large, welcoming, fun spot, located right on the train line.

Wir haben unsere Silberhochzeit mit 50 Gästen in der Schwabenalm gefeiert. Die Alm ist eine tolle Location, das Team war freundlich, aufmerksam, flexibel und unkompliziert. Wir haben die Pauschale mit einem BBQ Grillbuffet gebucht und haben es nicht bereut. Das Essen war reichlich und sehr lecker. Unsere Gäste waren glücklich und somit waren wir es auch. Danke Schwabengarten Team 👍

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary with 50 guests in the Schwabenalm. The Alm is a great location, the team was friendly, attentive, flexible and uncomplicated. We booked the package with a BBQ grill buffet and didn't regret it. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Our guests were happy and so were we. Thank you Schwabengarten team 👍

Really nice open beer garden very close to a U-bahn stop. Good selection of beers on draft and a good selection of very affordable swabian meals (currywurst, white sausage, schneitzel, etc)

Sehr netter Service, mit äußerst leckerem Essen, kann man nur weiter empfehlen. Ambiente auch perfekt und groß, ebenso perfekt für Kinder und coole Events.

My friend ate Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and he liked it. The portion was large. I only ate fries… The selection for vegetarians is already weak, but there is nothing for vegans… We were there during the week and there was no tarte flambée. Children's playground has become smaller (than it used to be) and is more intended for small children. There were no free parking spaces. Very nice, discreet and helpful service who picked up our plates and glasses. The lady in the checkout wasn't really nice. Ambient, cyclists and price ok.

Very nice beer garden, self-service, but friendly staff serving drinks and food. Food is comparatively expensive compared to other beer gardens with similar offerings. Food is overall okay. There are many different seating options and live music is offered on various days throughout the summer months.

Well-located beer garden in the middle of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, lots of space, rustic and authentic furnishings. Previous reviews almost discouraged us from visiting, but we were disabused of it. Modern pagers inform you when the food can be picked up, the optimal solution. The drinks section is actually well solved, but is initially quite confusing for strangers. Drink selection very modern and varied. The food was excellent, the meat was optimally cooked/fried, the ingredients and side dishes were coordinated, modern and attractively presented. It's a shame: When we visited it was a themed evening, the music only half matched the theme, the associated decorations were rather sporadic and were taken down well before the end of the day.

Nice atmospheric place. Order delicious food and then pick it up at one of the stalls. Food was also very tasty. Nice playground for the kids and delicious beer on tap. (Ideal for families with children)

Food is good for a beer garden, the ambience is great and everything is very cozy, sometimes the music during live performances can be a bit loud and you just have to come early for events or on the weekend, otherwise the beer garden is pretty full despite its size, which is of course also very much due to its popularity. The parking space is also a bit tight, but that's not a bad thing. All in all a nice place to relax

Actually a great beer garden and, by Swabian standards, huge. Food delicious, without a doubt. Aaaabut: The logistics are rather less clever, sorry really: First there's a queue, almost like in an amusement park, then a single tapper, one with 6 taps, but he still has to do something on the side. Oh, that's right, skills shortage, almost forgotten. Then you stand there with a beer in a stein and wait in the payment line. In front of me is a woman with a wine spritzer and a walker. No chance. Together we did it 😎 Then the card payment is canceled. Chaos. That's bad luck, of course, but the entire concept can really be expanded. If you have patience, you will still have a great time in a great, varied atmosphere. I think 4 out of 5 is appropriate.

Relatively large beer garden that is easy to reach. The employees are friendly. Card payment is also possible. However, it would be nice and contemporary if there were more vegetarian dishes. The offering here is a bit poor (fries, Swabian flatbreads, vegetarian Maultaschen). The food could also be a little less salty... Addendum: The beer garden is so large that it should actually be possible to separate smoking and non-smoking areas. Then you could eat without any unpleasant smell. Even 2 years later, people still smoke everywhere... even though there are many children present and it is well known how harmful passive smoking is.

I know the Schwabengarten from the old days, initially based in Vaihingen, then moving to LE, where I always enjoyed going. It's been years now since I've been there again because we just happened to be in the area. What really shocked me was the prices for the food. A schnitzel for €20.90 in a beer garden is an absolute statement. The other dishes are also very expensive. I'm also surprised that there are no prices on the menu on the homepage. Presumably there are concerns that fewer people will come otherwise? But SB Schmellbachtal and SB Eselsmühle also charge such absurd prices. These used to be places where you could have a moderate meal with a family, but today it's pure luxury. I don't feel like doing that anymore and would rather go to a real restaurant with service and better quality at the same price, or even usually cheaper. Beer at 4.80 a half was even okay...but food was incredibly expensive.

The food is great and the selection is good. You can also find your own vegetarian options. The service cannot be rated as it is self-service. However, the waiting times are still reasonable when there is a lot of activity. The ambience is also very nice if you like beer gardens.

Very nice beer garden with a great ambience. The children's playground is also great, but I'm extremely shocked at the prices. Schnitzel with fries without salad over €20. If you want a salad with it it's over €28 without a drink. That's quite an announcement. Everything is self-service. Unfortunately, it can only be recommended for better and higher earners. 2 adults and 2 children eat and drink and you can easily spend upwards of €100.

Quite nice to sit together. But I'm probably too spoiled by Bavarian beer gardens when it comes to the quality of the food. I found the portions too small for the price (self-service!) and the quality wasn't good. Parking: too few parking spaces. I had 1/2 chicken. This was small, dry and average at best. For the same price I get half a knuckle at the brewery in Tegernsee, which fills me up.

Das Bier ist gut, der Garten ist schön und es gibt jetzt sehr viele überdachte Sitzplätze. Aber das alte Problem - die Küche!!!!! Es war "Maishendl-Tag" und wir freuten uns auf einen schönen halben Gockel. Sollte mit Brötchen 13,90 kosten. Was wir bekamen, war die pure Enttäuschung: ein kleines, sehr mageres Vögelchen, die Haut steinhart, das Fleisch, soweit vorhanden, völlig trocken und ein großes, luftiges und fast geschmacksneutrales Brötchen dazu. Und wir dachten schon, die Küche hätte sich verbessert . Aber außer dass es jetzt keine feste Speisenauswahl mehr gibt, hat sich offenbar rein gar nichts geändert.

Actually a great beer garden. This is my third time there in a week. There were no problems twice. Totally disorganized today. Over an hour of waiting at the checkout for a beer. Getting something to eat was out of the question. Beer gardens are no fun

The food is of a good standard, typical of a beer garden, and the portions are large. There are also daily specials, but these are only announced directly at the food counter. The parking lot is too small for the size of the beer garden, so we recommend traveling by public transport. There are stops nearby.

This is the second time we have reserved for 50 people. The first time this reservation was canceled two weeks in advance. That should have been a lesson to us, because the second time they said they didn't have a reservation when we were there with 50 people. The staff were unfriendly and also claimed that we had canceled the reservation ourselves (which was definitely not the case) instead of apologizing and offering an alternative and compensation. Absolute impudence and completely wrong!

The ambience couldn't be better for a beer garden. Top. I can only recommend various seating options and reserving the hut for a fee-based event. Only the Vesper platters were seriously exaggerated in quantity and there wasn't enough choice for vegans either.

Although there are no beer garden trees, it is a very nice beer garden. Top food, clean toilets. Addition August 8, 2023 . The trees have grown a bit 🙂 What's important is that you can tell from many little things that the beer garden is run with love, e.g. B. different design of the areas, not all umbrellas are necessarily open, so you can choose whether you want to sit outside or under a tarpaulin, the food we have had so far was all top-notch and very good. We'd love to come back 🎉

We celebrated our company summer party there. Admittedly the weather wasn't nice. But we had informed ourselves in advance that the beer garden closes at 11 p.m. But actually leaving the house at 9:30 p.m. because of the weather was really cheeky. At 9 p.m. we were told "last round" and at 9:30 p.m. the lights really and truly went out and we were escorted to the gates!!!! Guys, I'm employee-friendly too! But why send all the employees home when the store is still full of people? Why can't you kindly say, we're closing an hour earlier today. That was really inhospitable! That was my last visit to this location.

The Schwabengarten is a real insider tip! I would particularly like to highlight the incredibly friendly and warm older lady who makes the service an unforgettable experience. Their smiles and warmth radiate pure hospitality and you immediately feel welcome. She always takes time for a little chat and her charming manner makes you feel at home. A visit to the Swabian Garden is not only a culinary delight, but also an encounter with true Swabian hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful moments – I’ll always be happy to come back.

Many stalls together create a beautiful, large beer garden. There were a lot of screens set up at the European Championships. Service is very nice. It's a bit drafty in the evening because we sat in the middle. Easy to reach by public transport.

We had such a great experience here! We made a reservation for the hut and it was festive & cozy. Delicious glühwein, flamkuchen, goulash, and Weihnachtsbier are just some of the delicious food & drinks served here. There are so many photo opportunities all over the grounds. On Sundays from 3PM to 6PM, they have kids activities in the hut complete with games and arts & crafts; there is an adult who leads the children in the crafts. Outside, there is a campfire where you can roast marshmallows or dough on a stick for a Euro or two.

Well, I don't know what I can call a beer garden these days. Maybe the operators should visit a real beer garden to see what a beer garden looks like. That was a really disappointing number. And when it came to eating, the person sitting next to us put it aptly: “This food is worse than our canteen.”

Food is not that bad but although the advertised they will play all the football matches they did not. I reserved the table with the comment that we want to watch the football match but they did not inform they will not play we just after asking at the cashier recognised 5 minutes before the game ..

Cold currywurst with fries for just under 10 euros. 4.80 for 0.5l self-service beer and you queue to pay.

When I asked how the Hopfensommer beer tasted, I was handed a glass with a sip to taste, our Asian guest was given a spoonful of Obazda to try. Yes, that's how service works and how you stand out! Fair price level was really pleasantly surprised - it certainly wasn't the last time here!

We were just there and left faster than originally planned because the lady at the checkout was so unfriendly that we weren't willing to spend a single cent more here. Service is not for everyone and that is okay. But why would you put someone like that at the checkout? Incomprehensible. The lady is extremely damaging to business. One star is definitely one star too many.

Absolutely great modern Bier Garten

Wir waren mit Freunden hier und wurden gegen 20 Uhr freundlich begrüßt mit der Auskunft dass die Küche bereits geschlossen ist. Da wir nur etwas trinken wollten war das ok. 10 Minuten nachdem wir uns (in Selbstbedienung) mit den nicht ganz preiswerten Getränken - 2x Weizenbier je 4,80 €, Maß 9,60 €, Rechnung über 32 € weil die Kassiererin versehentlich 3 Mass abgerechnet hat, obwohl die Gläser vor ihr standen - versorgt hatten, kam die Glocke für die letzte Runde. Einer von uns holte ein weiteres Weizenbier in der Annahme, dass wir in Ruhe austrinken können. Um 20.55 Uhr wurden wir dann aufgefordert, die Lokalität zu verlassen, da um 21 Uhr geschlossen wird. Der Biergarten ist relativ groß mit überdachten Plätzen. Es hat nicht geregnet - und wir nehmen unsere Getränke um 21 Uhr mit raus auf den Parkplatz? Das war mit Sicherheit unser letzter Besuch.
