Hi, this is the head chef at Schützinwirtin. In the first few months, I did everything I could to ensure the restaurant received good reviews on Google. I'm sorry, dear regulars, but I have a drinking problem because I couldn't handle the pressure. I love this restaurant, but I was laid off because the business was going out of business. I miss my regulars and the Black Angus burger. I was a passionate chef and love my job. Thank you, dear guests.

A very nice, rustic restaurant. We've eaten here several times. The last time we came, just before the kitchen closed, there were only four of us in the entire restaurant. The chef himself came out and talked to us about his dishes. If you ask nicely, you'll find some things that aren't on the menu, as the chef truly puts passion into his dishes. You can tell that from the food. We recommend the Angus Burger and the Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) for dessert, the original version, of course, without plums. We'll definitely be back.

I'm from out of town and found this place by chance. It has a small, fine menu with items I haven't had in a long time. I opted for the burger once and the cabbage roll the second time, and both were excellent. Highly recommended. The wait time for freshly prepared dishes was okay. Service was good.

We went to this restaurant yesterday. The food was cold and inedible, looking like it came from a convenience store! The service was very unfriendly and inexperienced. The whole atmosphere was a complete disaster. Apparently, they were celebrating a birthday, and it was simply unbearable for all the other guests. Next time, just make it a private event and be done with it. The owner was completely energized and unapproachable. The entire staff was very unfriendly. We're definitely not going there again.

We were there with a group of 20 people. The staff was completely overwhelmed. They didn't even serve our orders correctly, or simply didn't serve them at all. We had to wait 45 minutes for our order until another customer started serving our drinks and food. On top of that, one waiter started a fuss with another customer, which was just unpleasant to watch. If you want a nice evening, go somewhere else.

Actually, a nice, cozy, rustic restaurant with a beer garden, ideal for nature lovers after a day out. If it weren't for the service. While we fully understand the lack of staff, ignoring guests isn't a solution, either. A "regular" finally took pity on us and helped out. Otherwise, some would have left with empty stomachs. And then it should be mentioned that the beer garden was half empty, and I counted three employees—that's certainly not too few. We certainly won't be coming back.

Well, that's all I'm saying. I didn't particularly like the currywurst. The service seemed a bit uncoordinated but friendly nonetheless. It all took a while, but there were a few people there. What really bothered me, though, was that the bill still hadn't arrived even after I'd asked for it twice, so I went inside. There the waiter (owner?) told me he was looking for my note and couldn't find it, and asked if I remembered what we had had. Of course I did. A currywurst with fries, a 0.5l beer for my wife, and a small water. He took out his phone and calculated the price. €17.20 - just about right. But there was no cash register or receipt. That probably doesn't count towards taxes either. So overall there's still a lot of room for improvement.

We were there on a Sunday in the summer. The food selection isn't very extensive, but what the kitchen conjured up was very good. It wasn't crowded, and the service was good.

A lovely day-trip restaurant with a menu that could be improved. Unfortunately, there's no iced coffee or ice cream on the menu. Lactose-intolerant guests also have no option for a latté macchiato because the machine also uses regular milk and can't be cleaned in between. However, the food (good, home-style cooking) is very good and plentiful. The service is very friendly, but a bit overworked and occasionally forgets a drink or two. A notepad would have been helpful here. We'll be back for the good food. We'll see if anything has changed by then. After all, it's a new establishment and deserves a chance.

Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in the woods, is a nice, cozy, affordable restaurant. It looks really quaint, and you sit comfortably under the trees and enjoy the truly excellent food. We had schnitzel and a huge pot of Angus beef goulash soup, which was truly outstanding. The waitress was extremely nice and friendly. If it weren't so far away, we'd love to come more often.

The Schützenwirtin is finally open again. The beer garden is back at it again with good home-style cooking that tastes good. Burgers and spare ribs weren't missing either. The beer garden is large with a play area for children. Dogs are also welcome and a bowl of water is not missing here either. The staff is very friendly. Yesterday it was still quite empty (but I was early too 😀) and food and drinks were brought quickly. I will now do a forest tour there more often and would like to stop there on the way back. Home cooking is offered at fair prices. I ate a burger with Angus beef and fries - super tasty!, the beer was at the right temperature and everything was affordable! A beautifully located forest restaurant with a very special charm! We had Königsberger Klopse and goulash – both absolutely delicious, homemade and prepared with a lot of love. The service was warm, attentive and all around top. We were particularly thrilled that the chef came to the table in person - you don't experience that every day! We are thrilled and will definitely come back!

Nice place. The beer tastes good. Unfortunately the kitchen was already closed.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to order the delicious dishes advertised because the kitchen had to temporarily close due to a lack of staff. We didn't really understand why we were handed the menu ten minutes beforehand. Perhaps on such days it would be a good idea to reduce the menu accordingly and accommodate the guests in some way while they wait. Maybe people will still like to come by again. We won't do it, there are too many good alternatives in the Berlin area. All the best anyway!

Not only does it look good, it also tastes really delicious! The ambience in the middle of the forest is simply fantastic. We have been to the restaurant several times now and tried different dishes and everything was really good! The entire team works incredibly hard to ensure that every guest has a wonderful stay. Parking spaces are available, and if everything is full, you can simply park down at the edge of the forest and walk through the beautiful forest to the restaurant. The food was excellent, the location was super cozy and inviting, the selection of drinks was great and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. Everything really went well, from the first to the last minute. A flawless party – we can absolutely recommend the Schützenwirtin and would be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, after the old owner sold the restaurant shortly before Corona, the shop went downhill. Now there are new owners again recently and things seem to be changing for the better. Food was good, service was very nice and attentive and when the weather was nice you could sit outside under the shady trees. Don't be bothered by the occasional banging. It's just a shooting range. But we are happy to be able to come back here after a bike ride or shooting. Were there again today. Was great. Four people and all food was excellent. Homemade Königsberger meatballs with homemade mashed potatoes - great. And the burgers and the Kässpatzen were also super tasty. Really recommended.

Curious about the new management, today we chose 3 different dishes from the classic German cuisine / home cooking (women's): goulash soup great, highly recommended beef roulade and cabbage roulade and the crowning glory of the Kaiserschmarrn. Everything was very tasty, good portions and fair prices - including the drinks. We will definitely be back and would be happy to recommend the NEUE Schützenwirtin.

After several changes of tenants, we finally have a new owner who takes care of the guests and the food. “Thumbs up” We spent our Christmas party there and there were a few more people than we had booked. In no time the tables were quickly rearranged and there was room for everyone. But now to the most important thing, the food. The goose breast was very tender with the kale and dumplings just great! 18 people had their food so everyone could eat together. And the night lava cake with vanilla ice cream is a dream. I'll be back... Keep it up...

We had our Christmas party here on Friday with 21 people. The food was very tasty, classic German dishes. Some of the group had lentil soup beforehand and agreed: it was the best lentil soup ever. Good wines with food and really good mulled wine with and without alcohol. Service was also great. For us it was the perfect location in combination with our archery as a team event before dinner. We'll definitely be back.

The portions are really huge and for a super affordable price. The best thing about the whole thing is that it's also super tasty. I ate the spare ribs. The portions were so big that it was almost impossible to eat. Super tender and crispy. The good piece basically just threw his ribs away. This meant that the ribs could be eaten with a knife and fork without any problems and without getting dirty, as is usual with ribs. God that was delicious 🤤
