If you're looking for a small menu but quality and attention to detail, this is the place for you. The bowl service impresses with its delicious food. The value for money is very fair. I'll definitely be back.

Update September 2025: I wasn't impressed with the beef shovel. The quality has also declined. The sauce was odd, not at all tasty. A real shame. When will you bring back the ribs? They were so much better! Update April 2025: Unfortunately, the beef ribs have been removed from the menu. The other dishes are also good, but the ribs were the absolute highlight. A real shame. Hence one star less. Absolutely top-notch. Especially the ribs.

Delicious food, a bit more expensive than in the surrounding area.

The food is very good, every dish has a lot of small interesting ingredients, BUT all the dishes except Ever Green bowl are too spicy for me. I‘m spicy-sensitive and whatever warm bowl I take, I always struggle. It is not clear from the ingredients that the dish will be spicy. Please make at least one non-spicy warm bowl :)

Super delicious food in a bowl, preceded by a cup of soup at moderate prices.

One of those urban-hipster Berlin spots where more traditional people don't immediately understand the menu and the procedures. But the food is excellent and well worth the money. Even the iced tea, whatever's in it, was great. Why the dish is called "Schaufel" (scoop) I can only guess, but every ingredient was delicious and the dish was well-composed. Not something you'd want to spend a lazy evening at, but just right for a quick (not hectic) lunch.

I hope they'll have pointed cabbage again soon! It would also be nice if it was written somewhere until when a seasonal menu is valid, or when there will be a new menu. There are a few things I've sorely missed since the last change, even though the new one is also great, of course.

The food tastes great and the ingredients are fresh. However, the protein portion is far too small for the price, this should not feel like a children’s menu.

"Fine dining in a bowl" - Where can I sign? The ambiance is a bit urban-industrial and casual, but I can still only give it five stars. We had the monthly bowl with asparagus, the Evergreen Bowl, and the rhubarb dessert, and we were both speechless with delight. Beforehand, the house gave us each a mini portion of "Soup of the Week." Every single dish—including the soup—was a poem, a balanced composition of flavors that I don't experience very often. I can wholeheartedly recommend the locksmith service and will definitely be going there more often from now on.

Mega! Delicious salad, friendly service, I will come back for sure! Less fan of high tables and chairs but there are some seats at normal height. The rice pudding is also very good.

The three of us visited this restaurant for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. All three of us ordered the ribs, and it was just perfect. The plate, consisting of ribs, a small salad, and lentil ragout with a yogurt-lemon cream and small chili pearls, was a super interesting combination with a very successful interplay between different consistencies and tastes that were put together absolutely harmoniously. The promise has been kept one hundred percent. Perfect for anyone looking for a time-saving, yet tasty and inexpensive restaurant experience, for example for a lunch break. The team was also very friendly and welcomed us with a free sample of the soup of the day, which was perfect for the Berlin winter. Thank you very much and I will definitely be back.

Bowl service is unique in the world with the formula: taste explosion x good portion x gourmet knowledge x fair prices. That doesn't exist anywhere. I run the Smart Traveling app with restaurant tips in 50 destinations. I don't know of anything comparable. I know a thousand restaurants with double prices and 1/4 the portion. That doesn't justify the service either. The concept can be expanded.

Very good food! Delicious. I've eaten there twice in the last two months. Unfortunately the chairs are quite uncomfortable... Unfortunately, the food and drinks are quite expensive. €21 for a midweek, uncomfortable, self-service meal in a very small shop is not for me every day. Nevertheless, I will of course go there again.

Serving the delicious bowl. The warm lemon chicken with parsnips and chard was delicious. Full at lunchtime but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment.

Great value for money. Recently also soup with garnish, definitely recommended.

This was a mind blowing experience 10/10. Every bite was better and better. They have an open kitchen so you can see how they cook your dish. Absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is very nice and invites you to stay longer. Staff is very helpful and friendly, they were explaining us the dishes and recommending. The quality is just insane. Good quality-price. I loved it.

One can see that they love what they're doing. It goes through in the quality of the food, the plating and the friendliness in which one is served. Keep on going! Update: three years later and the quality, service, and taste remain top notch!

Very tasty food and very good service :)

The food was something else. Wanted to try this once. The meat was super tasty. The beans/peas weren't really my thing. Very salty seasoned. You can try it, but unfortunately it's not for me.

The restaurant offers high-quality ingredients and well prepared dishes. While the food is delicious, I found some items, like the salad, a bit overpriced. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal.

We had a voucher from Tagesspiegel and were both very pleased with what we had chosen. However, it would have been appropriate to respond to the criticism that one of the authors had made about the inclusion of people with disabilities. In any case, I couldn't find a replica. Maybe something will happen in the future.

Absolutely fantastic food! I’ve been to a lot of bowl spots in Berlin and haven’t been this impressed with the food quality anywhere else. Fantastic ingredients, good ambience, good music, friendly staff, everything we had was superb. Will definitely be back and they also deliver via Uber Eats! My friend was also equally impressed.

Tasty and innovative in itself, but in my opinion way too much balsamic / acid in all the dishes, as if the chef was in love and misjudged. Please turn it down, it would just be so much better

Consistently delicious and fast

Extremely tasty, everything. I had the bowl ever green and an iced tea - so good. And for good measure a small cup of carrot, mango, coconut soup. Great.

Can only be recommended without reservation. Very tasty, super nice service, you sit nicely. The redfish and the sesame mouse were really good and really tasty. The price-performance ratio is more than fair. We just hope that the locksmith people last a long time. I'll come back, absolutely

I ate the most delicious bowl ever here. Very cleverly seasoned and not overly seasoned. Very fresh ingredients and great crunchy topping. If you love bowls like I do, you should definitely stop by.

The beef ribs and the rib sandwich are addictive, but I can also highly recommend the other dishes. There is also a delicious homemade iced tea. This shop is basically a fine dining snack bar, so it's pretty quick!

My rating relates to the accessibility of the restaurant. It is completely incomprehensible to me how one can manage to transform a perfectly barrier-free restaurant, including a disabled-accessible toilet, into this strange place. The disabled-accessible toilet was dismantled and standing tables were set up inside and outside where wheelchair users cannot sit. All that's missing is a sign that says 'Wheelchair users not welcome'. I would really be interested to know how they got approval for this redesign from the relevant authorities. Humanly it's 100% wrong anyway

Super tasty food of very good quality. The ribs are very tender & delicious. But the fish is also recommended. The portions are large. Totally worth the money & highly recommended!

I was expecting an Asian dish, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The pulled pork is amazing and melts in your mouth like silk. The map is very clear which makes it very pleasant.

I love this place and have enjoyed eating here often for years, unfortunately the warm bowls have risen from 12 euros at the beginning to 17 euros now. I know that good food has its price and that the circumstances are causing price increases, but unfortunately I can no longer afford that. I will have fond memories of my years there, thank you for that :-)

Gutes Essen, ging auch zügig, obwohl sehr voll. Das Ambiete war entsprechend unruhig, aber trotzdem ok. Weil die Speisen direkt im selben Raum zubereitet werden, riecht es stark nach Küche und man selbst hinterher auch. Trotzdem lohnt sich das Essen und ich komme gerne wieder - vielleicht wenn es etwas leerer ist.

Super Qualität der verwendeten Produkte und guter Service. Die Speisen sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet und das Team ist immer telefonisch greifbar gewesen bisher. Herr Extrawunsch (ich) war auch positiv überrascht: Mein Kommentar, die zugehörigen Saucen extra einzupacken, wurde beachtet. Die Saucen in ihren Behältern wurden extra beschriftet :-) An die Herren Mielke: Alles richtig gemacht!

War zum Mittag heute das erste Mal im Schlüsseldienst. Super schneller und freundlicher Service. Der kleine Appetizer - eine Tomatensuppe - war schon mal ein toller Auftakt. Das warme vegetarische Gericht (gebackener Spitzkohl) war sehr würzig und toll abgestimmt. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr lecker!!! Wir waren schon ab und an hier essen. Es schmeckt fantastisch. Die Auswahl ist nicht riesig, dafür sind aber die Qualität und der Geschmack super. Für dieses Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis top. Außerdem kann man die Küche einsehen und das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Für jeden gibt es zusätzlich vorab eine kleine Kostprobe der aktuellen Suppe und von den Portionen wird auch ein guter Esser satt. Auch die Desserts sind mega! Alle Portionen werden auch to go angeboten.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich fahre sogar manchmal extra von Kreuzberg hierher, um eine Schüssel zu essen. Das Essen ist einfach mega lecker, danke dafür! Leider gestaltet sich die Eingangssituation etwas anstrengend, da es schon mal Gedränge geben kann und es zwei Eingänge gibt, was zu Chaos führen kann. Deshalb ist es ratsam, etwas früher zu kommen. Das Ambiente sollte man nicht allzu hoch bewerten, da es eher Imbisscharakter hat.

Zur Dämmerung mit Lächeln und einer Probe von der schmackhaften Blumenkohlnochwastagessuppe in schönem Geschirr empfangen worden, Schokosesammus mit Mangopü (fein, hat es in sich, passend zum Wetter) und Sesamchips, dazu Perlwein (Glückwunsch zur Diss!!!) und Orangentee. Hohe Tische mit Barhockern, konnte nach Belieben gemütlich stehen, nix für eingeschränkte oder noch kleinere Menschen als ich/162,5, wir haben uns fast 3 Stunden verquatscht, angenehmes Ambiente warm mit Holz und Kupfer. Gerne wieder!

Essen schmeckt super lecker und vorallem die kleine Suppen Vorspeise im Glas ist jedesmal ein Gaumen wert

Could possibly be the best place in Berlin for casual dining. I love that they made high quality food so approachable and unpretentious. I've never been to any restaurant in Berlin that gives anything out for free, they have delicious soup in a tea cup.

Eine absolute Empfehlung. Ich habe Rippchen ohne Knochen auf Brot gegessen. Das war das leckerste Streetfood was ich bisher gegessen habe .

Einfach nur großartig - mit das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Kleines, leckeres Süppchen vorab und tolles Essen in gutem Geschirr mit gutem Besteck (endlich mal kein Blechnapf!). Dazu alles wunderbar unkompliziert. Höchste Empfehlung!!!

Ansonsten schön angerichtet, aber dass mir wahrscheinlich nur 3 Sachen auf der Karte liegen ist es mir leider zu speziell. Die Rippchen waren recht gut gemacht. _____________________________ Nice corner store with some nice dishes (see photos). But not everything that is hip always tastes good. A lot of vegetarian, but that's more my problem. Otherwise nicely arranged, but that there are probably only 3 things on the menu it is unfortunately too special for me. The ribs were quite well done.

Das Restaurant "Schlüsseldienst" in der Akazienstraße hat mich in jeder Hinsicht begeistert! Die Produktqualität ist einfach top, und die kleine, aber feine Karte bietet eine perfekte Auswahl. Dank Selbstbedienung geht alles blitzschnell, ohne dass man lange warten muss. Die Zubereitung der Speisen ist exzellent und man schmeckt die Sorgfalt in jedem Bissen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar - man bekommt hier wirklich viel für sein Geld. Solch eine herausragende Kombination aus Qualität und Preis findet man selten in Berlin. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sorry, aber die allgemeine Begeisterung kann ich nicht teilen. Liegt vielleicht an meinem Gericht, Pulled Chicken. Schwimmt in einer nach Fertigsosse schmeckende weißen Masse. Sollte man eher Wet Chicken nennen, das Hühnchen ist grau, schlabberig und geschmacklos. Das könnt ihr besser!

Echt lecker! Aber inzwischen gehen die Preise durch die Decke und die Speisen sind leider auch nicht mehr so raffiniert wie zu Anfangszeiten

Der richtige Ort für die Mittagspause oder zum Treffen mit Freunden oder Kollegen. Lunchtime! Nicht zum lange Verweilen, aber mit einem umfangreichen Angebot von Speisen für jeden Geschmack. Stullen & kalte und warme Schüsseln, von Standard bis vegan - sehr lecker und eine wirklich gute Idee. Hier wird eine Bedarfslücke geschlossen!
