Wir begleiten dieses kleine Berliner Schüssel-Universum nun schon seit vielen Jahren. Früher gehörte es zu unseren festen Top-Adressen für die Mittagspause. Dann kam die typische Restaurant-Achterbahnfahrt: mal brillant, mal etwas aus der Spur – und hin und wieder legten auch wir eine längere Pause ein. Doch wie ein guter Rotwein oder ein Spitzenkoch nach einer kreativen Krise hat sich das Team wieder eindrucksvoll zurückgemeldet. Und zwar mit Stil. Die Bowl mit geschmorter Rinderschulter ist eine kleine Liebeserklärung an Slow Food: butterzartes Fleisch, perfekt abgeschmeckt, harmonische Aromen und eine Portion, die inzwischen erfreulich großzügig ausfällt. Gesund, proteinreich und trotzdem voller Geschmack – eine Kombination, die erstaunlich selten so überzeugend gelingt. Besonders sympathisch: der junge Mann an der Theke. Freundlich, aufmerksam, kennt seine Gerichte und berät mit ehrlicher Begeisterung statt einstudierten Verkaufssätzen. Das Ambiente bleibt entspannt, die Küche wirkt heute deutlich reifer als noch vor einigen Jahren. Man schmeckt, dass hier jemand nicht stehen geblieben ist, sondern an den richtigen Stellschrauben gedreht hat. Unser augenzwinkerndes Fazit: Manche Restaurants brauchen keine Sterne – nur etwas Zeit, um wieder in ihre Umlaufbahn zu finden. Diese Bowl-Adresse hat den Weg zurück auf unsere persönliche Empfehlungsliste mehr als verdient.

Eines der besten Restaurants in Berlin. Hervorragendes Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Es gehört zwar nicht zu den günstigsten der Stadt, aber auch nicht zu den teuersten. Die Qualität der Speisen zählt jedoch zu den besten in Berlin.

Das Essen schmeckt unglaublich gut! Die Rinderschaufel ist so unfassbar lecker… Und immer ein mega lieber junger Mann an der Theke, welcher super gut berät… Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Sehr leckere Stullen. Nur leider hat uns das Brot nicht so gut geschmeckt. Ein schönes dunkles Sauerteigbrot wäre eine tolle Ergänzung. Ein tolles Brot gibt es z.B. bei Domberger oder Albatross. 😉

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht ganz, vor allem für ein Mittagessen. In Akazienkiez gibt es bessere Alternativen. Ich habe ein paar Gerichte probiert und war geschmacklich von keinem wirklich überzeugt.

Es ist zwar schon etwas her, dass ich hier war. Allerdings erinnere ich mich, dass es sehr gut war! Frische Zutaten, interessante Bowls und super lecker. Dazu noch ein witziger Name. Perfekt!

Beim ersten Mal zufällig hungrig reingestolpert und völlig überrascht worden von der ganz besonderen, großartigen Qualität und Machart der Bowls und Stullen. gleichzeitig ist es so angenehm unprätentiös und entspannt! Seitdem ist einmal die Woche ein Muss. Toll, dass es euch gibt!

Manche Dinge brauchen eine zweite Chance! Nach 4 Jahren, dem Schüsseldienst nochmal besucht und total begeistert. Mal davon abgesehen, dass die Portionen deutlich größer geworden sind, die geschmackliche Leistung in der Schüssel ist nicht mehr mit damals zu vergleichen. Man konnte unterschiedliche Nuancen schmecken und alles war aufeinander abgestimmt. Wir hatten Parmesan-Aubergine und die schmorte Rinderschulter. Beides auf den Punkt gegart und abgeschmeckt. Daher kann ich diese Ecke Berlins nun uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde wiederkommen. Bitte weiter so und unfallfrei Fahrt mit der S1000R!

So etwas habe ich noch nie gegessen! Zuerst gab es Misosuppe, die kostenlos und unglaublich lecker war. Die Schüssel enthielt das Monatsgericht: Pilze mit Kartoffelpüree – einfach himmlisch! Und die Desserts erst! Die könnte ich jeden Tag essen.

Ein Schüsselerlebnis mit WOWeffekt. Köstliche geschmackliche Aromen und überraschende Texturen. Zartes und knuspriges gemeinsam in einer Schüssel. Ob z.B.gebratener Spitzkohl oder das beliebte Butter Chicken, beides kommt in einer perfekten Interpretation in die Schüssel. Ein Minisüppchen bekommt man als leckeren Apetitanreger vorneweg, köstlich. Jeder Bissen ein Genuss und nie langweilig. Gerne die Öffnungszeiten ausdehnen.

Bar und Kartenzahlung möglich. Hunde eher draußen. Was auf den ersten Blick wie Kantine wirkt, entpuppt sich als wahre Geschmacksperle der Sonderklasse für gutes Geld. Hier wird im besten Sinne durch einfache aber gute Zutaten das Beste rausgeholt und bestens in Kombination gesetzt. Was als Imbisswagen begann hat sich durch Leidenschaft, Qualität und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nach oben gearbeitet. Gerechtfertigt! Der Klassiker, der Ever Green Salat. Frisch, groß und absolut knackig, bestückt mit mega Dressing. Ordentlich durchmixen, damit ihr die unteren Zutaten hervorholt, für eine breitere Geschmackspalette. Der Knaller, Rinderschaufel. (18 Std. gegart & Butterzart) Kartoffel-Lauch-Stampf Soße. Zucchini Sesam & Soja, Chili-Perlen Kräuter , Chinakohl, Limetten-Sesam-Creme Frafchet. Karte und Getränkeangebot überschaubar aber genau das macht die Küche effizient und orientiert. Service schnell und freundlich aber halt und verständlicherweise im Modus, um alles abarbeiten zu können. An guten Tagen kriegt man ohne Reservierung nix. Toilette klein aber sauber, gepflegt, funktional und neu.

Das Essen ist fantastisch. Dies ist auch das Konzept hinter diesem Restaurant. Die Speisekarte ist relativ kurz aber dafür wechselt diese von Zeit zu Zeit. Service ist praktisch nicht vorhanden, aber das braucht es bei diesem Geschäft auch nicht. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Die Zutatenkombinationen sind gut durchdacht. All in all ein must visit.

Tolles Konzept in mitten der Akazienstraße. Die Speisen sind sehr hochwertig und mit Pfiff und Liebe konzipiert, das schmeckt man in jedem Bissen. Obwohl die Karte recht überschaubar ist, fällt es einem schwer, sich zwischen den Bowls entscheiden zu müssen: beim Lesen des Menüs läuft bereits einem das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Ich hatte heute die Rinderschaufel: 18 Std. gegart & Butterzart, Süßkartoffel-Sesam-Püree, Rosenkohl & Pilze, Romana-Salat mit Kräutern. Eine absolute Punktlandung. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und herzlich.

Perfect Christmas Menu from the Catering Service This year, we conjured up the Christmas menu from the Catering Service: two duck legs and two beef shoulders with all the trimmings, including a starter (celery and chestnut soup) and dessert (baked apple crumble). Our verdict: Very delicious and very easy to prepare thanks to the clear instructions. Simply a complete success – in every respect. Thank you very much.

One of the best restaurants I've been to recently. You should arrive early for lunch; apparently, it's still okay until 12:30. The bowls are all incredibly delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. Simply a great spot and a hidden gem in the heart of the city.

The food tastes delicious, is natural and healthy. There are only a few restaurants in Schöneberg that have earned my trust so consistently.

I ordered from Wolt's bowl delivery service – the Teriyaki Catfish Bowl and the Butter Chicken Bowl. Delivery and packaging were excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious! Both bowls were really well thought out, perfectly balanced, and exceptionally good – especially for delivery. You can tell they put love and quality into their food. I'm already looking forward to trying their other bowls. A fantastic place! There should definitely be more places like this in Berlin – instead of just kebab shops on every corner. Highly recommended!

We tried the sandwiches yesterday, and they were incredibly delicious! The sourdough bread was wonderful, with a crispy crust and a fluffy, soft interior. The vegan avocado sandwich with creamy avocado mousse and pecans was amazing, and the pulled chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned with a delicious lime mayo. For dessert, the rice pudding with salted caramel and toasted almonds was also very good. It's just a shame there wasn't a lactose-free/vegan dessert option.

After ordering through Lieferando, I called Schüsseldienst to ask about the portion size and whether it would be enough for a big appetite. The friendly man on the phone was incredibly welcoming and immediately offered to add something extra to my order, even though that wasn't my intention. So, service 10/10 – they really take care of you, and the staff clearly do their work with love. The food was excellent. The picture shows the beef chuck roast with pulled chicken, the salad was top-notch, and the sweet potato sauce was my absolute favorite. The bowl gets a 9.5/10. As an added bonus, I received a complimentary rice pudding. I have to say, of all the rice pudding I've ever eaten, it was by far the best. 100/10! The food is very delicious, great combinations, everything fresh and lovingly presented.

We were greeted with a complimentary appetizer from the kitchen, a small sample of soup. We ordered the set menu, which included soup and dessert. Everything was delicious! The food was exceptional for the price!

If you're looking for a small menu but quality and attention to detail, this is the place for you. The bowl service impresses with its delicious food. The value for money is very fair. I'll definitely be back.

Update September 2025: I wasn't impressed with the beef shovel. The quality has also declined. The sauce was odd, not at all tasty. A real shame. When will you bring back the ribs? They were so much better! Update April 2025: Unfortunately, the beef ribs have been removed from the menu. The other dishes are also good, but the ribs were the absolute highlight. A real shame. Hence one star less. Absolutely top-notch. Especially the ribs.

The food is very good, every dish has a lot of small interesting ingredients, BUT all the dishes except Ever Green bowl are too spicy for me. I‘m spicy-sensitive and whatever warm bowl I take, I always struggle. It is not clear from the ingredients that the dish will be spicy. Please make at least one non-spicy warm bowl :)

Super delicious food in a bowl, preceded by a cup of soup at moderate prices.

One of those urban-hipster Berlin spots where more traditional people don't immediately understand the menu and the procedures. But the food is excellent and well worth the money. Even the iced tea, whatever's in it, was great. Why the dish is called "Schaufel" (scoop) I can only guess, but every ingredient was delicious and the dish was well-composed. Not something you'd want to spend a lazy evening at, but just right for a quick (not hectic) lunch.

I hope they'll have pointed cabbage again soon! It would also be nice if it was written somewhere until when a seasonal menu is valid, or when there will be a new menu. There are a few things I've sorely missed since the last change, even though the new one is also great, of course.

The food tastes great and the ingredients are fresh. However, the protein portion is far too small for the price, this should not feel like a children’s menu.

"Fine dining in a bowl" - Where can I sign? The ambiance is a bit urban-industrial and casual, but I can still only give it five stars. We had the monthly bowl with asparagus, the Evergreen Bowl, and the rhubarb dessert, and we were both speechless with delight. Beforehand, the house gave us each a mini portion of "Soup of the Week." Every single dish—including the soup—was a poem, a balanced composition of flavors that I don't experience very often. I can wholeheartedly recommend the locksmith service and will definitely be going there more often from now on.

The three of us visited this restaurant for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. All three of us ordered the ribs, and it was just perfect. The plate, consisting of ribs, a small salad, and lentil ragout with a yogurt-lemon cream and small chili pearls, was a super interesting combination with a very successful interplay between different consistencies and tastes that were put together absolutely harmoniously. The promise has been kept one hundred percent. Perfect for anyone looking for a time-saving, yet tasty and inexpensive restaurant experience, for example for a lunch break. The team was also very friendly and welcomed us with a free sample of the soup of the day, which was perfect for the Berlin winter. Thank you very much and I will definitely be back.

Bowl service is unique in the world with the formula: taste explosion x good portion x gourmet knowledge x fair prices. That doesn't exist anywhere. I run the Smart Traveling app with restaurant tips in 50 destinations. I don't know of anything comparable. I know a thousand restaurants with double prices and 1/4 the portion. That doesn't justify the service either. The concept can be expanded.

Very good food! Delicious. I've eaten there twice in the last two months. Unfortunately the chairs are quite uncomfortable... Unfortunately, the food and drinks are quite expensive. €21 for a midweek, uncomfortable, self-service meal in a very small shop is not for me every day. Nevertheless, I will of course go there again.

Serving the delicious bowl. The warm lemon chicken with parsnips and chard was delicious. Full at lunchtime but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment.

This was a mind blowing experience 10/10. Every bite was better and better. They have an open kitchen so you can see how they cook your dish. Absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is very nice and invites you to stay longer. Staff is very helpful and friendly, they were explaining us the dishes and recommending. The quality is just insane. The food was something else. Wanted to try this once. The meat was super tasty. The beans/peas weren't really my thing. Very salty seasoned. You can try it, but unfortunately it's not for me.

The restaurant offers high-quality ingredients and well prepared dishes. While the food is delicious, I found some items, like the salad, a bit overpriced. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying meal.

Extremely tasty, everything. I had the bowl ever green and an iced tea - so good. And for good measure a small cup of carrot, mango, coconut soup. Great.

Can only be recommended without reservation. Very tasty, super nice service, you sit nicely. The redfish and the sesame mouse were really good and really tasty. The price-performance ratio is more than fair. We just hope that the locksmith people last a long time. I'll come back, absolutely

I ate the most delicious bowl ever here. Very cleverly seasoned and not overly seasoned. Very fresh ingredients and great crunchy topping. If you love bowls like I do, you should definitely stop by.

The beef ribs and the rib sandwich are addictive, but I can also highly recommend the other dishes. There is also a delicious homemade iced tea. This shop is basically a fine dining snack bar, so it's pretty quick!

My rating relates to the accessibility of the restaurant. It is completely incomprehensible to me how one can manage to transform a perfectly barrier-free restaurant, including a disabled-accessible toilet, into this strange place. The disabled-accessible toilet was dismantled and standing tables were set up inside and outside where wheelchair users cannot sit. All that's missing is a sign that says 'Wheelchair users not welcome'. I would really be interested to know how they got approval for this redesign from the relevant authorities. Humanly it's 100% wrong anyway
