One of the best restaurants without a doubt. Definitely worthy of their Michelin stars! Service was personable/attentive without being stuffy, courses were all stellar, and wine pairings had great balance. Loved the surrounding view of the garden as well.

The Facile is a smart star restaurant in a beautiful ambience. We chose a 5 course menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. We reserved a table for my husband's birthday. Nevertheless, we were both missing “that certain something” that we had already experienced in other star restaurants. Unfortunately the spark didn't spread. Too bad!

Since we are frequent guests at the QIU Bar, we thought of this for our 10th wedding anniversary: Let's go to the facility... Since there were only a few tables occupied at lunchtime, we also got a spontaneous reservation by telephone. From the underground car park directly to the restaurant is of course great! We were given table 4, nicely located in a corner and we were warmly greeted. We decided on the 5-course gourmet menu (should be enough for lunch) The greeting from the kitchen came quickly and, in retrospect, my wife liked it best of all the courses! Then came the other courses, scallop, caviar on snow crab both a little bland and not as great as expected. In the meantime, my wife was given the wrong water, with the comment: “I then noticed that I would open another bottle for you straight away”. We thought it would be on the house, but no, it was on the bill. The third course, monkfish, was a bit more inspired; the extremely nice, young waiter poured fish sauce and mussels over it. Then our “highlight”: the main course! A walnut-sized piece of veal cheek on 23 grams of vanilla puree with quince, served in a plate with a deep cavity, it was smaller than the amuse gueules. No joke...! We have nothing against small, delicious courses (otherwise we would have gone to the nearest pub), but the overall proportions of the menu are not right. Then came the only real course that was worthy of a 2 star hotel: the dessert. What was done there in the patisserie was brilliant to see and also tasted excellent. Our conclusion: We would be happy to come back if the kitchen places a little more emphasis on the taste and proportions of the courses.

Two Michelin star restaurant inside the Mandala Hotel: the place is a garden at the 5th floor with fountains that remember oriental furniture. All dishes were superb and the wine pairing was carefully studied; they also took care of the fact it was my mate's birthday. Very creative dining experience

Guter zugewandter Service, lockere Weinberatung. Zum Glück haben sich die Befürchtungen aus dem 25er Gault Millaut nicht bewahrheitet.

Facil is a memorable dining experience. Beautifully crafted dishes of delicate and varied textures and tastes are artistically plated. My husband and I enjoyed the setting of the atrium garden light which pours through at lunchtime. The service was impeccable.

I have already rated the restaurant once - unfortunately with the wrong profile. So here again, this time officially: I've eaten here five or six times now, including the last two years on my birthday. It's an experience every time. The cuisine is of the highest standard and the service is incredibly warm and professional. A big compliment to the entire team - and especially to Joachim, with whom a small friendship has even developed over time. Of course quality has its price, but it is absolutely appropriate here. For me it's clear: it's always worth a visit!

We were very satisfied with our visit. It is a beautifully furnished and located restaurant in the Mandala Hotel. Due to the good weather, the ceiling was also opened. The restaurant is beautifully designed and has a wonderfully calm atmosphere. The food is very good according to 2 stars. The service, however, deserves an additional comment as it was almost flawless and even exceeded expectations at 2 stars. The only negative for us was that we had looked at the menu on the website beforehand and also the pricing. The menu had been partially adjusted, which I understand due to seasonality, but the pricing was clearly different from the menu stated on the website (website 4 courses = 88 EUR + each additional course 20 EUR; reality: 3 courses = 88 EUR + each additional course 25 EUR). Even if the prices are still fair for the level, the ambience and especially the service, you should keep the menu on the website up to date.

Cena después del trabajo en Berlín. Empezó prometedor, con diversiones juguetonas y una maravillosa ensalada equilibrada y cremosa en dados. Surgieron problemas en el segundo plato de mariscos con peces monje esponjosos y mal cocidos nadando en un pesto de pimiento verde wan (! ). El plato fuerte de los bisontes era el verdadero récord - rasguño: todavía pulsando sangre, adornado con un zigzag sin alegría de salsa blanca sosa y combinado con una boca - frunciendo ronda de decepción amarilla. Un súper tánico 2018 Hermitage emparejamiento añadió insulto a la lesión: demasiado joven para ser cualquier cosa menos una distracción adicional. El mejor plato de colirrábico que he probado, un fuerte plato de pan y una maravillosa selección de vinos alemanes (que antes de ese Hermitage) no pudieron rescatar esto de una gran decepción. Operar en un horario de hotel sin días libres puede ser un desafío para cualquiera. As long-time guests of the Facil, we visit there twice a year - but our last visit was unfortunately disappointing. The introduction: wilted flowers at every table. You can still feel a certain “post-Corona depression”: the portions have become significantly smaller, the dishes seem less inspired than before, and the selection of products seems to be subject to a stricter budget. The meat in particular was almost impossible to find. The wine accompaniment is also questionable in terms of price - 20 euros for 0.1 liters seems excessive. A small digression that the Facil cannot help: It is shocking how table manners deteriorate from year to year. Juggling cutlery now seems to be just as socially acceptable as the hoodie as a standard outfit. A little more style and etiquette would benefit the overall experience. Filled soap dispensers in the toilets would also be helpful. Despite this disappointment, there remains hope that the Facil will find its way back to its former strength with the expected reduction in the catering tax. The kitchen has proven in the past that it can achieve great things - perhaps all it needs is a little reboot to revive the previous creativity and quality. We would like to be surprised again on our next visit by the sophistication that once made the Facil so special.

Nach 3 Jahren mal wieder hier gewesen und leider wird es wohl der letzte Besuch gewesen sein. Die Einrichtung ist noch immer überwältigend. Leider waren nur 3 Gänge des großen Menüs sehr gut. Der die ersten beiden Gänge waren versalzen. Der Hauptgang und der Fisch eine Sensation. Das Personal sehr verhalten und kühl. Der Sommelier seit 2 Jahrzehnten gleich professionell aber sehr steif. Aber das die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung aus zwei Weinen ohne Alkohol besteht ist für ein 2 Sterne Haus fragwürdig.

This chef is inspired by Japanese cuisine and try to combine with French. The first dish was the fried rice with mayonnaise which should be forbidden, because it’s oil on oil. Human loves oil as natural because oil gives satisfaction but not taste. People should avoid oil to taste real flavor. The second plate was scallop which was disaster, because too salty. Other than those the dishes are nice.

We were very satisfied with our visit to the restaurant. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, the service professional, and the dishes beautifully presented with intriguing flavors. More details below: I especially loved the chicken (Maishähnchen). The meat was incredibly tender, and the sauce was excellent. The desserts were magnificent—beautifully presented and with interesting flavors. Among the drinks, we had non-alcoholic wine, which had a very intriguing taste. See the photo. The Octopus "Bombay," the first dish listed on the menu, was ordered by many guests. Personally, I found it rather bland. I'm also not a fan of beetroot. In the end, the dish didn’t impress me, especially after the very vibrant and delicious aperitif. I cannot recommend this dish. The "Schwarzwurzel" dish had an interesting flavor and unusual combination. However, the smell was challenging... It's difficult to describe, but we found it unpleasant—perhaps it's similar to truffles, which we're not accustomed to. Still, it's worth trying if you're not discouraged by its peculiar aroma. Thanks to the chefs and the restaurant staff; we had an enjoyable and memorable experience!

Dear Facil team, we were with you on February 18th. We were guests and felt so taken care of and accepted as rarely anywhere else. They took us on a journey of pleasure that basically made it almost impossible for us to eat at a simpler restaurant. We had 7 or 8 courses. The plates were prepared with great precision and a lot of love for the product. The worlds of taste were magical. Really pure enjoyment! And the wine pairing was incredibly intense and exciting. The kitchen has, of course, done a great job, but nothing would be “at the guest” without an excellent team. And you were simply wonderful. We were able to chat briefly and were perfectly prepared for every course and every glass of wine. The wine tour absolutely deserves high praise! And such a charming smile makes a huge difference. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and the illuminated fountains created an almost meditative ambience. I took a few photos, which of course didn't turn out well due to the beautiful, intimate lighting. Sometimes documentation comes after enjoyment. The evening was simply wonderful, thank you very much. We'd love to come back!

Seit nunmehr einem Jahrzehnt besuchen wir das Facil, meist in der Tradition zum Geburtstag meiner Frau mit einem "herausforderndem" Extrawunsch, und wir stellen aufs Neue immer wieder fest, wie professionell, wie perfekt all die Abstimmungen sind untereinander im Team, bishin zu den Meisterwerken aus der Küche. If you want to go on a culinary "Maldives trip" in a figurative sense, the Facil is the right place. Starting with the warm welcome, the experience begins with quiet tones of enjoyment and the sound of rippling water in a tropical urban environment. Not only are the dishes including the greetings from the kitchen so fascinating, the precise wine recommendations from the award-winning sommelier also support the wonderfulness of the restaurant. We have been visiting the Facil for a decade now, usually in the tradition of my wife's birthday with a "challenging" extra request, and we notice again and again how professional, how perfect all the coordination between the team is, right down to the masterpieces from the kitchen. I am very grateful and wish that all the beautiful experiences reached more people. If I were a film producer, I would name the Netflix hit “Facil”. Many thanks to the entire Facil team LG

If you’re planning to be in Berlin … Facil is a must. This 2 Star Michelin restaurant definitely will not disappoint. I treated my friend for a three course lunch with champagne & wine … what a memorable meal. The glass room is fabulous surrounded by bamboo shoots. The food is multidimensional, an amazing balance of flavour and brightness. The service was attentive & wonderful. Yes, a lot of servers but they know what they are doing. I almost forgot … your purse even gets a stool to sit on! 100% class!

Lamentablemente, el curso de polla no fue así: un pequeño trozo de un pato batido, difícilmente manejable. y difícil de tratar. mientras que debería haber sido cortado en rodajas finas en abanico sobre el plato. Los (muchos) desiertos eran encantadores de ver y consumidores. Una buena botella de vino del Valle del Loira fue un agradable acompañamiento. No tan agradable fue la factura de dos: la impresionante suma de 775 dólares , incluida la gratificación! !! , un precio que supera con creces cualquier cosa vivida en un restaurante de tres estrellas en París!

For me, Facil is the best restaurant in Berlin. The service is formal, but that's totally fine for me. Very nice and accommodating but not stiff either. you manage to create a good atmosphere that is very stimulating. The courses are explained very well, which is important given this complexity. The food is impressive. The individual components of the courses are clearly defined and can be tasted. The main product is always in the foreground, as it should be. In the current menu, the bison fillet, Roderick Sloan scallop and monkfish were outstanding for me. But the other courses were also very good. Overall: you can't eat better in Berlin. The wine pairing was very good. The young sommelier entertained us expertly and very nicely. What an evening! Thomas Zimdars

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the stylish, light-flooded atmosphere that radiates elegance and tranquility. Every dish on the menu was an experience for the senses – a perfect interplay of creativity, precision craftsmanship and first-class, seasonal ingredients. The desserts from head pastry chef Thomas Yoshida are particularly noteworthy: his creations are true works of art that not only fascinate visually but also taste wise. The balance of innovation and sophistication in each dessert was simply breathtaking and the perfect ending. The service also deserves high praise: always present without being intrusive, with a perfect sense of timing and detail. The experience is rounded off by an excellent wine accompaniment, which ideally complements every dish.

We came for lunch here and I felt like a queen. Impeccable service, wonderful presentation, overall very good food (I was however not wowed by each dish) and great atmosphere. For 88€ you get 3 course menu + entree and small dessert. Overall we enjoyed this experience, stayed over 2 hours and we will gladly come back.

We enjoyed a lovely three course lunch, which included a surprise dessert for my guest’s birthday. Each dish was delicious—a special mention to the generous amuse-bouche salad that began the meal. The service was professional and kind. I will return when I am next in Berlin.

This was an amazing experience! It was my first time in Germany and Restaurant Facil blew me away. My friends and I were greeted at the door so graciously and our service was unbelievable the entire night. I would recommend the wine pairing, as this elevated my experience. Eravamo stati in questo ristorante 3 anni fa. Fu un esperienza sublime, piatti eccezionali, delle opere d’arte visive e gustative, servizio eccezionale e prezzi vantaggiosi per l’esperienza, lo avevamo recensito come il miglior ristorante stellato mai provato. Ci siamo ritornati pieni di aspettative, e niente una delusione totale. Prezzi raddoppiati , portate buone purtroppo ancora più piccole e meno elaborate esteticamente sicuramente non eccelse, il sevizio un disastro, camerieri che sembravano assunti due giorni prima senza una formazione qualificata al tipo di ristorante (642 euro in due con due soli calici di vino). Fanno cadere per terra una pelliccia di alto valore , non puliscono il tavolo, cercano di portarti via il piatto senza averlo finito ti fanno aspettare l’acqua nonostante hai il bicchiere vuoto. Al tempo tra una portata ed un altra ti davano del pane e dei grissini artigianali e stuzzichini di altissimo livello, oggi ci hanno rifilato le baguette del supermercato. Nessuna attenzione e premura per il cliente seduto al tavolo . All’epoca c’era un cameriere dedicato che bastava solo guardarlo che aveva capito già tutto ed arrivava a coccolarti, come si dovrebbe quando paghi certe cifre. Quindi Bye Bye Facil a mai più. Con questi prezzi trovate decisamente di meglio. Come detto nel titolo questo 2 stelle ha prezzi da 3 stelle, portate da una stella e sevizio da mezza stella.

An all-round perfect, pleasant evening. From the friendly welcome, the brisk service with good wine recommendations to the enthusiastic but pleasant compact explanations of the menu courses, a very pleasant appearance by the relaxed, satisfied-looking team and a very appealing atmosphere. We only had the first 5 (fish-heavy) courses of the menu as unfortunately we weren't hungry enough for more. Beforehand there was a nice greeting from the kitchen consisting of three components and then an extended amuse-bouche that was surprisingly complex. The courses on the menu were also completely independent and harmonious, bringing unusual flavor combinations without being intentionally original or losing any of their taste and balance, as you can sometimes experience, not least in Berlin. The head waiter's special recommendation actually proved to be the highlight of the menu and his brief explanation of the provenance of the specially prepared fish was very interesting, especially as this could herald a new trend in fine dining. So for us the menu was actually a complete experience even without dessert, but we couldn't resist the suggestion of giving another chance to a tiny sweet finish and were very satisfied with the overall successful evening with a refreshing sorbet and two mignardises let it end. Since I still had to drive, I only chose the suggested wine accompaniment for two of the courses (a Palatinate Riesling and a Silvaner) and was pleasantly surprised, as I wouldn't normally have chosen these wines, but they harmonized very well. An evening that proves that culinary creativity and relaxed service can form a perfect combination. We would be happy to come back in the future!

Excellent fine dining experience. Really enjoyable over all. They have a very flexible menu, where you can pick number of dishes and also the ones you want to have from the menu. That way you really can adapt it to your wishes, which is something I appreciate a lot. You can try what you really want and not over eat at the same time. I especially liked the code with the chorizo sauce, and the walnut praline desert. All the other dishes we got were quite good as well. One of the meats was a bit weaker, but overall I was quite satisfied. The place is pretty classy and has a nice vibe.

This may be the third Michelin rated restaurant I’ve visited, so I do not have a broad base of experience to know what to expect. The experience was great but not terribly memorable except for the bill. The service was great and the restaurant was beautiful. The dishes were well prepared and they throw in an appetizer and salad in addition to the separate courses. I chose 4, she chose 5. My main courses included veal and venison, both of which were cooked perfectly and quite tender. But for $700 all in, it was not an experience I’ll repeat.

Two weeks have passed again and I've finally gotten around to writing a short review. In principle it is relatively simple. It was my wife and I's first experience in a star restaurant and we couldn't have chosen a better place, a better team or a better cuisine. I could now type many words into the keyboard and try to describe what made our evening at Tulus Lotrek so special. But I would rather just say thank you for a wonderful evening. We hope that we will be able to be guests of this great team again at some point and would simply like to recommend that everyone treat themselves to this luxury if possible. Oh yes, of course thank you for the little photo session at the end 😀

My partner and I had a candlelight piano dinner and it was so beautiful! 😻 As soon as you walk through the door of the restaurant you end up in another world. You are greeted personally and all the stress is left behind. We were led to our table by the fireplace, where every glance spotted a highlight. Not only the name has historical significance, but the decoration is chosen with care. Between his father's old books there are old wine bottles and greeting cards from Rixdorf. The table was personalized with a personal Old Style message and a bouquet of flowers. Not only the musical accompaniment on the piano, but also the drinks and food served are highlights! You feel so comfortable and after one or two conversations with Roman and Marius, but also everyone else, you feel at home. You're almost sad that you're leaving at some point. But the nice thing about it is that you can come back for a little break from everyday life, stress and the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in an evening full of carefreeness. ♥️ Thank you for this wonderful and very special evening ♥️
