Dear Facil team, we were with you on February 18th. We were guests and felt so taken care of and accepted as rarely anywhere else. They took us on a journey of pleasure that basically made it almost impossible for us to eat at a simpler restaurant. We had 7 or 8 courses. The plates were prepared with great precision and a lot of love for the product. The worlds of taste were magical. Really pure enjoyment! And the wine pairing was incredibly intense and exciting. The kitchen has, of course, done a great job, but nothing would be “at the guest” without an excellent team. And you were simply wonderful. We were able to chat briefly and were perfectly prepared for every course and every glass of wine. The wine tour absolutely deserves high praise! And such a charming smile makes a huge difference. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and the illuminated fountains created an almost meditative ambience. I took a few photos, which of course didn't turn out well due to the beautiful, intimate lighting. Sometimes documentation comes after enjoyment. The evening was simply wonderful, thank you very much. We'd love to come back!

Leave all your worries behind. Enter the temple of fine cuisine and let yourself be pampered with ever new creations to delight the palate. Small works of art are served on the golden saucer. Personally, I first try each ingredient individually and then work my way to the flavor combinations. In the end, you're left with a small desire for more. The next course is coming soon...

Starting with the warm welcome, the experience begins with quiet tones of enjoyment and the sound of rippling water in a tropical urban environment. Not only are the dishes including the greetings from the kitchen so fascinating, the precise wine recommendations from the award-winning sommelier also support the wonderfulness of the restaurant. We have been visiting the Facil for a decade now, usually in the tradition of my wife's birthday with a "challenging" extra request, and we notice again and again how professional, how perfect all the coordination between the team is, right down to the masterpieces from the kitchen. I am very grateful and wish that all the beautiful experiences reached more people. If I were a film producer, I would name the Netflix hit “Facil”. Many thanks to the entire Facil team LG

Wer im übertragenen Sinne kulinarisch eine "Malediven Reise" durchführen möchte, ist im Facil goldrichtig.Mit der herzlichen Begrüßung angefangen beginnt das Erlebnis bei leisen Tönen des Genusses sowie plätschernder Wasserklänge in einem tropisch urbanem Umfeld.Nicht nur die Speisen inkl der Grüße aus der Küche sind so faszinierend, auch die vom mehrfach ausgezeichneten Sommelier präzisen Weinempfehlungen unterstützen das Wundervolle in dem Restaurant. Seit nunmehr einem Jahrzehnt besuchen wir das Facil, meist in der Tradition zum Geburtstag meiner Frau mit einem "herausforderndem" Extrawunsch, und wir stellen aufs Neue immer wieder fest, wie professionell, wie perfekt all die Abstimmungen sind untereinander im Team, bishin zu den Meisterwerken aus der Küche. Das beste Restaurant Berlins. Kreativ, Frisch und mit unglaublich gutem Service. Wir gehen immer an meinem Geburtstag hin und das seit Jahren. Es liegt am Potsdamer Platz und bietet eine, moderne, cleane Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist unübertroffen. Der Sommelier trifft immer meinen Geschmack. Der Patissier ist ein Zauberkünstler mit seinen Ideen. Immer wieder sehr gerne!

If you’re planning to be in Berlin … Facil is a must. This 2 Star Michelin restaurant definitely will not disappoint. I treated my friend for a three course lunch with champagne & wine … what a memorable meal. The glass room is fabulous surrounded by bamboo shoots. The food is multidimensional, an amazing balance of flavour and brightness. The service was attentive & wonderful. Yes, a lot of servers but they know what they are doing. I almost forgot … your purse even gets a stool to sit on! 100% class!

What a horrible place, they pay people to write positive reviews for money. Don't trust this restaurant! Instead of offering a clean friendly service with good food, they trick tourists. Scam!

Cerca de maravillosa comida de 3 horas (cinco - menú degustación de platos _ en un hermoso comedor, con un servicio atento y profesional. Los platos de vieira, rodaballo y langustiina eran perfectos. Lamentablemente, el curso de polla no fue así: un pequeño trozo de un pato batido, difícilmente manejable. y difícil de tratar. mientras que debería haber sido cortado en rodajas finas en abanico sobre el plato. Los (muchos) desiertos eran encantadores de ver y consumidores. Una buena botella de vino del Valle del Loira fue un agradable acompañamiento. No tan agradable fue la factura de dos: la impresionante suma de 775 dólares , incluida la gratificación! !! , un precio que supera con creces cualquier cosa vivida en un restaurante de tres estrellas en París!

For me, Facil is the best restaurant in Berlin. The service is formal, but that's totally fine for me. Very nice and accommodating but not stiff either. you manage to create a good atmosphere that is very stimulating. The courses are explained very well, which is important given this complexity. The food is impressive. The individual components of the courses are clearly defined and can be tasted. The main product is always in the foreground, as it should be. In the current menu, the bison fillet, Roderick Sloan scallop and monkfish were outstanding for me. But the other courses were also very good. Overall: you can't eat better in Berlin. FACIL is renowned for being one of the best restaurants in Berlin. For us it's THE BEST! Welcome, atmosphere, kitchen and cellar: everything is perfect and encourages us, during each visit to Berlin, to return to FACIL. And here our best wishes for a good recovery for Mr Finster.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by the stylish, light-flooded atmosphere that radiates elegance and tranquility. Every dish on the menu was an experience for the senses – a perfect interplay of creativity, precision craftsmanship and first-class, seasonal ingredients. The desserts from head pastry chef Thomas Yoshida are particularly noteworthy: his creations are true works of art that not only fascinate visually but also taste wise. The balance of innovation and sophistication in each dessert was simply breathtaking and the perfect ending. The service also deserves high praise: always present without being intrusive, with a perfect sense of timing and detail. The experience is rounded off by an excellent wine accompaniment, which ideally complements every dish.

Wonderful and just BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS

We came for lunch here and I felt like a queen. Impeccable service, wonderful presentation, overall very good food (I was however not wowed by each dish) and great atmosphere. For 88€ you get 3 course menu + entree and small dessert. Overall we enjoyed this experience, stayed over 2 hours and we will gladly come back.

Eravamo stati in questo ristorante 3 anni fa. Fu un esperienza sublime, piatti eccezionali, delle opere d’arte visive e gustative, servizio eccezionale e prezzi vantaggiosi per l’esperienza, lo avevamo recensito come il miglior ristorante stellato mai provato. Ci siamo ritornati pieni di aspettative, e niente una delusione totale. Prezzi raddoppiati , portate buone purtroppo ancora più piccole e meno elaborate esteticamente sicuramente non eccelse, il sevizio un disastro, camerieri che sembravano assunti due giorni prima senza una formazione qualificata al tipo di ristorante (642 euro in due con due soli calici di vino). Fanno cadere per terra una pelliccia di alto valore , non puliscono il tavolo, cercano di portarti via il piatto senza averlo finito ti fanno aspettare l’acqua nonostante hai il bicchiere vuoto. Al tempo tra una portata ed un altra ti davano del pane e dei grissini artigianali e stuzzichini di altissimo livello, oggi ci hanno rifilato le baguette del supermercato. Nessuna attenzione e premura per il cliente seduto al tavolo . All’epoca c’era un cameriere dedicato che bastava solo guardarlo che aveva capito già tutto ed arrivava a coccolarti, come si dovrebbe quando paghi certe cifre. Quindi Bye Bye Facil a mai più. Con questi prezzi trovate decisamente di meglio. Come detto nel titolo questo 2 stelle ha prezzi da 3 stelle, portate da una stella e sevizio da mezza stella.

An all-round perfect, pleasant evening. From the friendly welcome, the brisk service with good wine recommendations to the enthusiastic but pleasant compact explanations of the menu courses, a very pleasant appearance by the relaxed, satisfied-looking team and a very appealing atmosphere. We only had the first 5 (fish-heavy) courses of the menu as unfortunately we weren't hungry enough for more. Beforehand there was a nice greeting from the kitchen consisting of three components and then an extended amuse-bouche that was surprisingly complex. The courses on the menu were also completely independent and harmonious, bringing unusual flavor combinations without being intentionally original or losing any of their taste and balance, as you can sometimes experience, not least in Berlin. The head waiter's special recommendation actually proved to be the highlight of the menu and his brief explanation of the provenance of the specially prepared fish was very interesting, especially as this could herald a new trend in fine dining. So for us the menu was actually a complete experience even without dessert, but we couldn't resist the suggestion of giving another chance to a tiny sweet finish and were very satisfied with the overall successful evening with a refreshing sorbet and two mignardises let it end. Since I still had to drive, I only chose the suggested wine accompaniment for two of the courses (a Palatinate Riesling and a Silvaner) and was pleasantly surprised, as I wouldn't normally have chosen these wines, but they harmonized very well. An evening that proves that culinary creativity and relaxed service can form a perfect combination. We would be happy to come back in the future!

Schon der Empfang ist liebenswert und nicht zu steif. Die Bedienung durch das Team ist hervorragend und die Küchenleistung zum Niederknien.

Excellent fine dining experience. Really enjoyable over all. They have a very flexible menu, where you can pick number of dishes and also the ones you want to have from the menu. That way you really can adapt it to your wishes, which is something I appreciate a lot. You can try what you really want and not over eat at the same time. I especially liked the code with the chorizo sauce, and the walnut praline desert. All the other dishes we got were quite good as well. One of the meats was a bit weaker, but overall I was quite satisfied. The place is pretty classy and has a nice vibe.

This may be the third Michelin rated restaurant I’ve visited, so I do not have a broad base of experience to know what to expect. The experience was great but not terribly memorable except for the bill. The service was great and the restaurant was beautiful. The dishes were well prepared and they throw in an appetizer and salad in addition to the separate courses. I chose 4, she chose 5. My main courses included veal and venison, both of which were cooked perfectly and quite tender. But for $700 all in, it was not an experience I’ll repeat.

Completely rightly two Michelin stars. It's really hard to choose a course from the menu that you want to skip. Each course is a unique composition, an intense taste experience and a visual highlight. It's better to come by taxi so that you can follow the sommelier's recommendations. The service is uncompromising and warm at a high level.

Great ambience with fine cuisine.

The Facil is one of the few star restaurants that is open at lunchtime and even on Mondays. The prices have also risen here, but are at least justified due to the extremely high quality. We love this restaurant and have been coming back regularly for 10 years. The sophistication and ingenuity of the cuisine is magnificent. The service is extremely friendly and competent. The desserts are second to none and stand out among others. all other star restaurants.

Nicely decorated restaurant with a perfect atmosphere. Perfect distance to neighboring tables so you almost feel like dining by yourself. Super friendly and professional service. One downside might be the heavy rotation of staff attending to us. I think we had every single member of the staff at our table not just one responsible for us. That lead to wrong preparation of cutlery due to lack of information/communication? We would not have realized this mistake ourselves though, a staff member apologized for it and owned the mistake. Never had such refined and extraordinary food in my life before. Great compliments to the kitchen for delivering such an experience. In particular the desserts were fantastic! Absolute recommendation for everyone who enjoys food to visit the Facil at least once in their life. We had a great lunch, thank you!

We had the three-course menu at lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere, competent, pleasant service that was helpful but not intrusive. Not overdone either. The food became a major culinary, i.e. h. taste and aesthetic experience. Due to the variety of delicacies, we left the restaurant satisfied and also completely full.

We’ve been here for dinner and unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. The food was beautifully presented and each plate looked amazing but unfortunately the taste was not on the same level. Fish dishes were interesting, caviar dish is amazing, but others were mediocre. Meat dishes I didn’t like at all. There was no music at all, not even in the background.

Herausragendes, sehr aufwändiges Menü mit ungewöhnlichen, kreativen Kombinationen in höchster Qualität, Geschmack und auch optisch sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Ausgezeichnete Weinbegleitung. Hervorragender Service. Rechtzeitige Reservierung empfehlenswert. Excellent 2 star restaurant Very well located near Potsdamer Platz in the hotel “The Mandala” in a glass pavilion on the 5th floor, very tasteful, classic-modern-elegant, pleasant atmosphere. Outstanding, very elaborate menu with unusual, creative combinations of the highest quality, taste and also presented in a very visually appealing way. Excellent wine pairing. Excellent service. Early reservation is recommended. Conclusion: It absolutely deserves its 2 Michelin stars and is worth the money - compliments to the entire team, we'll be happy to come back!!

I went into Facil with very high expectations and was still impressed. The kitchen made the most of the products, the patisserie was creative, the service was warm... the Mandala Hotel is a feast for the eyes, employees were everywhere and devotedly looked after the well-being of the guests.

FACIL feels more like a museum than a restaurant—pristine, quiet, and utterly lifeless. The design is sleek, but the atmosphere is so cold it’s almost uninviting. The food is beautifully plated, yet everything, from the dishes to the service, is served with a chill. For the high price, you expect a bit of warmth and character, but instead, it’s like dining in an art gallery. If you’re into that vibe, it might be worth a visit, but for me, once was enough.

Excellent food, perfectly prepared. Service was extremely attentive, we felt very kindly looked after. The rooms (beautiful bamboo!) also had a calming and elegant character. Why one star less for food? We would have liked a little more courage with more intense flavors and spices, other chefs have ventured further here. The visual preparation is also remarkable, especially the ZEN garden is a highlight. Also a very fair overall package in terms of price. Gladly again!

This time we had the lunch menu at Facil. Products of the highest quality, unusual creations that were not only incredibly exciting to the eye. Every dish was absolutely convincing in its own right. We don't want to forget the pastry chef at the end. The Zen Garden dessert was outstanding, both in terms of taste and appearance. The service is simply fantastic and by far the best of all the star restaurants we have dined in so far. Sometimes you only notice much later that the cutlery or glasses have been changed. The employees are friendly, courteous and extremely professional. They were also happy to have our nine-year-old son at the table as a future gourmet. The sommelier was once again completely convincing, adapted to one or two extra requests and also read the tastes of my guests really well. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Even after years, the facility is still worth a visit. The ambience is timelessly beautiful. Personally, I don't think the food is necessarily worth 2 Michelin stars. It is undoubtedly very good, but unfortunately I find the vegetarian dishes, for example, just very good, but not outstanding. The patisserie, on the other hand, has been outstanding to me for years, creative, perfectly prepared, a great cinema and, in my opinion, consistently worth 3 Michelin stars. Just for the art of the patisserie - my highlight of the restaurant - it's worth going to Facil again and again!

The Facil is our wedding anniversary highlight every year. And now at least for 15 of 20 happy years of marriage. We were never disappointed - quite the opposite. Cheers to the kitchen and the entire team!!! Thank you for the always lovely evenings. Update June 2024: It remains. Highest quality, excellent service and a reserved, beautiful ambience. Very special thanks for the successful surprise upon our arrival. The team knows exactly what they can do to give us great pleasure. Keyword calla lily. Thanks to the team, we now feel a bit at home. Without question one of the most amazing dining experiences I have had. Ambiance, cuisine and service were all exceptional. I most appreciated the harmony of the individual dishes, which were further enhanced by the well curated wine pairing. Deserving of every star!

When I thought I could no longer be impressed, Restaurant Facil did it easily (see what I did there? 😊). This is truly the intersection between dining and art. A beautiful space with an amazing energy flow serves as the perfect theater for a culinary Tour de Force. Each stage of our six-course tasting menu was both beautiful and delicious. The wine pairing was perfectly curated, and the service was flawless. This amazing place is deserving of every star it has and worthy of whatever others available. JUST GO!!

Always a real gourmet experience in an unbeatable atmosphere

The restaurant itself is very nice, even if the ambience seems a bit cold. The service is very good, even if we had to wait a little longer at the beginning before we could order. The food is very interesting and creative, although some dishes were a bit bland for our taste. The desserts are fantastic, although in our opinion Baba au Rhum had very little to do with Baba au Rhum in terms of taste. Overall, very good, but unfortunately not perfect from our personal point of view, especially considering the prices. But overall very interesting experience

Das Restaurant selbst ist sehr schön, auch wenn das Ambiente etwas kalt wirkt. Der Service ist sehr gut, auch wenn wir am Anfang etwas länger warten mussten, bevor wir bestellen konnten. Das Essen ist sehr interessant und kreativ, auch wenn einige Gerichte für unseren Geschmack etwas fad waren. Die Desserts sind fantastisch, auch wenn Baba au Rhum unserer Ansicht nach geschmacklich sehr wenig mit Baba au Rhum zu tun hatte. Insgesamt also sehr gut, leider aber aus unserer persönlichen Sicht nicht perfekt, gerade angesichts der Preise. Aber insgesamt sehr interessante Erfahrung

Cool and straight ambience without much ChiChi - just like a dining room should be: cool, bright, water and air. The two amouse bouches were promising and extremely delicious. The starters were very good, the porcini mushroom was incredible, the Wagyu tartare was not outstanding but decent. Six different waiters for one person over the course of the evening makes it difficult to really feel comfortable. 2.5 hours for eight courses was quick, almost quick. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, you always hear that something didn't quite work at another table, or general information about other tables that you don't actually want to know. The wine accompaniment was quite decent, even though I had to use up the rest/last glass of two bottles and it was the last glass in the bottle for at least 2 days. Still very good quality but 2 stars...? The dessert, absolutely fantastic - the 2 stars were justified here. Yuzu and apricot in combination with the dessert wine, a wonderful pleasure! Overall, a good evening (1*), but not a very good one (2*) - but still a long way from exceptional (3*). Call me stuffy, but I have a request for us guests: The request from restaurants to wear smart casual certainly doesn't mean that a T-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap are appropriate, no matter who's underneath! After all, the eye eats with us...

This restaurant pays people 5 euro for a positive review. The food was ok, service too.
