Nachdem ich nach 20 min. Wartezeit eine Kellnerin fragte, ob hier auch Getränke verkauft würden, kamen diese dann doch noch. Das Essen wurde aufgenommen und dann begann das große Warten. Nachdem die Tische ringsum ihr Essen bekamen, obwohl Sie nach uns bestellt hatten, fragte ich eine Stunde nach Bestellung, wann unser Essen denn kommt. UPPS, die Kellnerin entschuldigte sich, unser Essen ist wohl untergegangen. Das Essen an sich war ok, aber nicht berauschend.

I have known and heard about the Schnitzelhaus Christian for what feels like 100 years. Today I managed to eat there and what can I say. Really awesome... Super great schnitzels and fair prices. The beer garden is cozy and the staff is attentive. What can I say 👍🥳 again and again.

Wow, mega schnitzel menu. Sorry for the expression! So legga. We ate here 2 years ago and this year we were really close and our first choice restaurant. Highly recommended, but you should reserve a table and look at the memory card before visiting. You have a problem on the spot if you eat everything, because then the decision is made very difficult... If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back!

The schnitzel buffet was a real disappointment. Deep-fried schnitzels with convient sauces. The salad buffet is at snack standard and the dessert is vanilla cream a la cheap with chocolate sauce. No other dessert was offered. Conclusion: The buffet is presented according to the system of profit maximization. Drink service was quick, attentive and friendly. It's nice to be able to sit outside. The ambience is midnight. The next time I'm in the mood for a buffet, I'll probably go back to Chinamann, where you get something for your money.

Everything fine! However, they should have informed us beforehand that the question asked by the service about mayo or ketchup with the fries was not included in the menu. €1 each for a mini bowl seems very sporty to us. It was at least €7! But otherwise everything without any complaints. Highly recommended.

My wife & I ate there for the first time with our best friends on August 11th, 2023. My wife had heard from her hairdresser that it was worth eating here. We went there when the weather was nice, around 25 "C - everything was fine. We had already been told on the phone that they were currently only serving in the beer garden. We trotted over after we found a P on a side street (on the We didn't want to park across the street from Katzenbusch) and we were very curious before we got a first impression on the internet and read the first reviews - we were all the more curious. The Schnitzelhaus Christ is a long-established restaurant with history. The walk past the front to the side entrance further increased curiosity. The walk past the house into the beer garden could be made more beautiful with a little effort, but this didn't quite meet our expectations. It was very nice that there was a sign at the entrance asking you to wait for the service staff, who would then lead you to the reserved table. The drinks came very quickly and we found some time to look around. We were very surprised at how full the restaurant was at 5:30 p.m. / 6 p.m. - table reservations are definitely an advantage (this should also be the case during the week). The waitress (or gastronomy specialist) was very nice and accommodating, we felt comfortable. The look on the side wall (painted over MDF panels) could be a little nicer, BUT we didn't want to live here permanently, we wanted to eat good and tasty food - and that's what we did. Both we and our friends were absolutely positively surprised by the schnitzels that were served. The portions were decent (food is also packed to take away) and tasty, the fries were very tasty and absolutely fresh, the ingredients for the schnitzel were also very good. The restaurant was - as I said - very well filled, you could have asked the staff for drinks once or twice, but we just got in touch and it was fine. One of the waitresses seemed somehow familiar to us and my wife and I recognized a lady we knew well from a previous restaurant who we last saw about 10 years ago, which made us particularly happy (the reunion). The complimentary coffee rounded off the evening and we will DEFINITELY eat here more often as the schnitzel, portion, taste and ambience fit the price well. Thank you for the successful evening.

There is a huge selection of schnitzels and other dishes on the menu. I think the schnitzels are also available vegetarian. The portions are super large and the food tastes delicious. Prices absolutely top. We will definitely come back again, there is enough choice on the menu ;-)

The ambience is very rustic and furnished in the typical inn style. The service was very friendly and attentive. The schnitzel selection was fantastic and the prices were right. For vegetarians, every dish could also be ordered with vegetarian schnitzel. So I ordered the vegetarian schnitzel with pepper cream sauce. In total there were two additional vegetarian dishes.

Went there for the first time today and it was great. This Thursday we caught and tried the schnitzel buffet and were totally satisfied. Schnitzel with asparagus 1A. Our employer's canteen won't be able to cope with it for a long time, it's gotten so bad. There was enough of everything on the buffet and it was always replenished. 👍👍👍👍👍

Das büffeln War sehr reichhaltig und ich finde nicht zu teuer. Das Ambiente War zum wohlfühlen und dezent in der lsutstärke. Die Bedienung War freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir waren Freitag mit 4 Personen im Schnitzelhaus Christ. Wir waren überwältigt von der Auswahl an Schnitzelgerichte, es gab auch noch was anderes! Der Service super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen alle vier Schnitzelgerichte sehr sehr lecker. Preisleistung sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder und können das Schnitzelhaus Christ nur weiter empfehlen. Danke für den schönen Abend Gruß Andreas

Waren mit der Firma dort essen. Buffet bestellt. Leider wurden das Fleisch nicht warm gestellt, Schnitzel und Frikadellen waren somit kalt und recht zäh. Gemüse und Reis noch sehr "Bissfest". Das restliche Essen war okay. Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Werden mal privat hingehen und a la carte bestellen.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen das Essen war sehr gut und wir brauchten auch nicht lange darauf warten

Bin immer gerne bei Christ zum Schnitzel essen. Dieses Mal habe ich das Weihnachtsmenü genossen. Absolut fantastisch. Personal sehr freundlich und dem Stress gewachsen. Der Chef immer ein wachsames Auge auf die Geschehnisse im Restaurant. Top wie immer . Absolut empfehlenswert.

Super lekker eten en een hele ruime keuze. Alleen het afrekenen is nog lastig alleen contant. Maar daar wordt aan gewerkt volgens het personeel.

Das Essen ist reichlich und auch lecker. Eine riesige Auswahl an Schnitzel. Preis -Leistung passt. Das Ambiente war gar nicht unser Fall. Es war schrecklich laut, zu dunkel, aber vor allem dieser Geruch von Frittiertem war unmöglich! Wirklich schade. Das müsste man doch im Griff bekommen. Dafür habe ich wirklich kein Verständnis.

Das Schnitzelhaus Christ erinnert beim betreten an eine Kneipe wie man sie von früher kennt, mit Tresen und Hockern. Der Empfang war freundlich und wir wurden zu unserem Tisch geführt. Der Raum in dem wir saßen war einfach und schlicht eingerichtet und etwas dunkel von der Beleuchtung. Die Speisekarte…man wird von der Auswahl an Schnitzelgerichten förmlich erschlagen. Ich war zum ersten Mal dort und brauchte dementsprechend um mich zu entscheiden. Das Essen war aber wirklich sehr gut und sehr lecker! Frische Schnitzel, große Portionen und leckere Pommes! Mir hat mein Gericht mega gut geschmeckt! Mein Fazit, einfach aber sehr lecker und ich werde das Schnitzelhaus wieder besuchen.

Ein tolles Schnitzel Restaurant mit einer riesigen Auswahl an verschiedenen Schnitzel Variationen. Für Schnitzel Liebhaber ein absolutes Muss. Sehr lecker und angemessene Preise. Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Ambiente ist leider nur Mittelmaß und man musste lange auf die Bedienung warten. Waren das 1. mal mit 6 Personen dort. Aber gerne wieder, das Essen war üppig und lecker. Preise sind angemessen.

Sehr gut und sehr lecker. Nur für Rollstuhl Fahrer ist das ein Problem, das sie auf Hilfe angewiesen sind mit Essen holen. Z.B

Sehr nette Bedienung! Portionen nicht nur gigantisch groß, sondern auch sehr lecker. Ich kann ja heute nur für die Premiere sprechen, da ich nur eine der angebotenen Variationen essen konnte und eine Kostprobe einer weiteren Variante probieren konnte. Beide sehr gut! Ich kann dies hier bedingungslos empfehlen.

Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von der riesigen Auswahl von 150+ Schnitzeln (und zusätzlich Anderes). Jedes Mal esse ich ein anderes Schnitzel und wurde in 20 Jahren noch nie enttäuscht. Ob mit Freunden, Familie oder Geschäftspartnern - immer eine gute Wahl. Im Sommer ist der Biergarten auch toll. Viele Fahrradfahrer kehren hier ein. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Durch Zufall gefunden, trotz großer Party heute Abend um 17.00 Uhr einen Tisch bekommen leckereres Essen bekommen und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen. Vielen Dank.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Ich habe meinen Teller leider nicht ganz leer bekommen, daher ließ ich mir den Rest vom Service einpacken. Was ich bemängeln muss ist die Tatsache, dass wir einfach den Beilagensalat hingestellt bekamen und kein Besteck. Dies lass ich nicht in meine Bewertung einfließen, da der Beilagensalat ja eigentlich nebenbei zum Essen ist. Ich habe das nur noch nie so kennengelernt. Was ich aber wirklich mit einfließen lassen muss, ist der mangelnde Service. Ich musste wirklich ans Besteck und an meine Mayonnaise erinnern, außerdem mussten wir öfters den Service zu uns rufen, weil sonst keiner zu uns kam.

Leider dieses Mal ein totaler Reinfall. Meine Lieblingssosse schmeckte dieses Mal nicht besonders gut und die Höhe war dann ein Glas Aperol, ohne Orangenscheibe und viiiel zu süß, auf meine Nachfrage hörte ich nur , sag der, das der bei uns so schmeckt, kommt ja schließlich fertig aus der Flasche. Kein Umtausch nichts. Also Geld bezahlt. Die ganze Atmosphäre war heute Kneipen mäßig. Es war mein Lieblings Restaurant allerdings seit heute nicht mehr.

Wir waren hier gestern Essen und sind wegen unserem Schlemmerblock hier gelandet und hatten noch Glück einen Tisch zu bekommen. Das Ambiente erinnert stark an einer gut bürgerlichen Küche mit Ausschank am Tresen. Der Service war sehr nett und untereinander herrscht für den Gast ein gutes Klima. Die Speisekarte war sehr lang. Eine Mega Auswahl an Schnitzel mit den Standardvarianten aber auch solche die man zuvor noch nie gehört hat.Wir hatten ein Schnitzel mit frittierten Zwiebelringe und Spiegeleier sowie ein Schnitzel mit Blattspinat, Hollandaise und Spiegeleier. Dazu neweils Pommes und Salat. Der Salat mag sehr schmackhaft mit Joghurtdressing serviert worden. Wer hier kein Schnitzel findet ist selbst schuld. Man kann hier aber kein schickes Restaurant erwarten, sondern eher eine gut bürgerliche Gaststätte mit vielen Schnitzelgerichten. Werden sicherlich mal wieder hier vorbeischauen.

Ich kann, was die Qualität, die Menge und die Wartezeit betraf, das Haus nur loben. Das Personal hat seinen Job hervorragend gemacht. Ich verstehe die Leute nicht, die nur meckern. Es gibt in diesem Haus keinen Grund dazu. Ich habe bereits mehrmals den Service dieses Hauses kennen und schätzen gelernt

Nicht zum ersten Mal dort und immer zufrieden - aber zum ersten Mal anlässlich einer Feierlichkeit. Alle Gäste haben sich wohl gefühlt und waren begeistert von der Vielfalt und Qualität des Buffets. Die Beilagen waren excellent und die Salate frisch. Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis hat uns überwältigt (wir habe die Reste anstandslos mitnehmen dürfen. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames (ohne aufdringlich zu sein) Personal - was man in der heutigen Zeit leider nicht mehr überall hat, besonders bei jungen Servicekräften. Ganz klare Empfehlung und wir freuen uns und hoffen, dass wir bald den Biergarten besuchen dürfen, wenn wir den Kampf gegen Corona gewonnen haben.

Wir waren hier zum Schnitzel-Buffet, da ich das Schnitzelhaus noch aus meiner Kindheit kannte und es sehr gut in Erinnerung hatte. Leider ist es dann für sehr lange Zeit in Vergessenheit geraten. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden weil die Schnitzel super zart und sehr lecker waren. Jetzt ist es wieder unter unseren Top 3 in Herten.

They advertise on their website to have the largest variety of Schnitzel in the world but that is not true. There is a restaurant in Alberta Canada with twice as many varieties and that is the Guinness World Record 2013. Sorry Herten.... Maybe they should also try to serve fresh made Schnitzel and not those deep frozen mass products for deep fryer and out of a box.
