Schnell-Imbiss Asia Wok in Mainz

Until a few weeks ago, my friends and I always enjoyed going here, but that has changed fundamentally. The female waitress, who is actually always present, is almost always harsh and anything but friendly. Having a bad day is okay, it can happen, but a permanent situation is absolutely unacceptable if you don't want to scare away your customers. She also once insulted the young employee (obviously her son) in front of me, and he is really very friendly. Obviously, dealing with customers like this is not desired here. Nowadays you charge €0.50 for a mini plastic bowl for sauce, otherwise it was always included if you didn't want all of the originally crispy meat to be completely soaked by the time you got home. A bowl like this costs a cent (?) to purchase, so another no go. And now, on the last visit, the next hammer: another customer previously left a quarter of the piece of meat unserved and put it aside, then half of my piece was put away and the other quarter was added, so a lot of the original portions have now been taken away, the price of course remains the same. All in all, it can be said that a lot of things are wrong here and things cannot continue like this. Otherwise customers will go elsewhere in droves. It's a shame, because it always tasted good here, even if it wasn't outstanding (the breaded chicken is particularly noticeable negatively). If something improves again, I'll be happy to post an update. Here is the update that was already announced: as far as the food is concerned, I am really very satisfied here, and the prices are also reasonable. The service could still be much friendlier and more customer-oriented, but unfortunately little has changed. The best way to describe it is: there is a pervasive feeling of bitterness that is inevitably noticeable. If someone who enjoyed customer contact served the food here, it would be a huge upgrade. Unfortunately, the mini plastic bowls for a portion of peanut sauce still cost €0.50. In any case, I gave the whole thing a new chance and even if what happened doesn't just get undone with time, at least the direction is right. Things could still be significantly better.

The Thai curry number 63 is really delicious. No matter whether normal, spicy or extra spicy. The duck is no longer packaged separately, but is still crispy at home. The prices are also great. The vegetables and sauce could be a little more, the rice a little less.

Price-performance ratio is right here. Food was good. No hair or anything like that. The service was also very nice. It's all ok. Perfect for just before the cinema.

Luckily, after eating less than half of my portion, I noticed a black hair in the food. Of course, I didn't eat any more after that. When I brought the plates back I was asked if I wanted to take the rest with me. I showed the hair on the plate and said that I didn't want to eat anymore. The lady then said that it was not her hair. I mentioned that this isn't any of my blonde hair either. She took the plate to the back and I was allowed to pay the full price for the two dishes and two drinks. Unfortunately, because there was a lot going on and we were under a bit of time pressure, I didn't respond. It was tasty and I would have liked to continue eating, but with just a hair on my plate, I lost it. It's a shame that we weren't accommodated for such a mistake. I also didn't get enough change; unfortunately I noticed it too late.

I was there after Carnival and asked the cashier what she recommended because I didn't have a plan. Large box with chicken and delicious pasta and sweet and sour sauce for €6, really filled me up, it was already finished but it was still good. Nice staff, the shop is small but the space is used very well!

Disaster, I was initially convinced by the very reasonable price and the 4.2 stars (€5 for Asian noodles with chicken). But I have never eaten such disgusting Asian noodles. Immediately after I ate everything except the chicken, I felt sick. Luckily I didn't throw up, but I had diarrhea 10 minutes after eating! I'm writing this review to warn you all!

I just got some fried chicken noodles and spring rolls there. At the beginning I was skeptical because of some of the negative reviews, but I have to say that for 10 euros I found the food very tasty :)

The dishes taste delicious, B2 is my favorite. Always cook quickly so you don't miss your train. Restaurant is 5/5, even if it is very small

Wow, the good reviews all seem to be fakes. A very rude saleswoman and the food is unfortunately the worst “Asian” food I have ever eaten. Vegetables were limply cooked, the rice was undercooked and hard and no spices were used.

In my experience, in this snack bar that I visited several times, the following always applied: more reality than appearance, better food quality than the average Asian snack bar - my impression from last week too. I hope there is no regression.

Die gebratenen Nudeln mit Tofu sind mit die schlechstesten, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Das Essen schmeckt nach fast nichts, der Tofu ist nicht richtig gebraten/frittiert und hat eine unangenehme Konsistenz. Zudem sind die Mitarbeiter ständig miteinander am Flüstern und Kichern, sagen weder Bitte noch Danke und wirken völlig geistesabwesend bei der Bedienung der Kunden, ein sehr unangenehmes Gefühl. Der Laden wirkt sehr dreckig, wenn man mal genauer auf Fugen oder Böden achtet. Die Lage im Bahnhofstunnel ist praktisch für Zugreisende, außerdem ist die Portionsgröße und Preisleistung nicht schlecht, aber geschmacklich leider ein totaler Reinfall.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, und die Auswahl ist groß. Man wird freundlich und schnell bedient. Wenn wir nach Mainz kommen gehen wir immer hierher.

Comida asiática sabrosa y abundante en la misma estación de tren del Teatro Romano de Maguncia. Un sitio barato para salir del apuro o comer algo rápido junto al río. El local tiene algunas mesas para comer dentro pero no lo recomendaría ya que está orientado a pedir y llevarte la comida. No aceptan pago con tarjeta.

Einer der besten Asiaten im Umkreis den ich kenne! Das Familiäre in dem Laden griegt man sofort mit, und wird aufgenommen als gehört man dazu :) Essen immer super lecker [ Empfehlung Kung Poa ]

Sehr leckerer Asia-Nudeln mit viel Gemüse (Bohnen, Pilzen, Sprossen, etc.) Für 4,50€ sehr zu empfehlen. (Mittlerweile teurer) Gibt auch eine große und leckere Soßenauswahl. Nahe am Rhein gelegen an dem man bei Sonne das essen noch mehr genießen kann. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen wenn ich mal wieder in Mainz bin.

Der Asiate meines Vertrauens ich finde es sehr lecker es geht auch schnell biss das Essen fertig ist.

Wir sind seit einem Jahr Stammgast und holen uns fast wöchentlich etwas zur Mittagspause. Preis-Leistung passt, das Essen ist immer frisch, es geht schnell und es schmeckt.

Immer frisches und leckeres Gemüse, die Soßen passen wie die Faust aufs Auge. Die Ente ist so schön zart zudem sehr fein geschnitten. Ich komme regelmäßig essen, die Preise sind sehr sehr günstig und man bekommt immer eine Riesen Portion bin noch nie hungrig aus dem Imbiss gegangen. Der Koch und seine Frau sind immer sehr freundlich hier fühlt man sich wohl und kann gut Speisen! Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen !

Beste chinesisches Restaurant! Ich geh super gerne dahin!

Der Asia Wok ist in Sachen Preis-Leistung der beste Asia Imbiss in ganz Mainz die Portionen sind riesig mit Liebe gemacht mit sehr viel Hühnerfleisch und sind dazu noch günstig die Soßen schmecken sehr gut sind nicht verdünnt wie in anderen Läden die Frau ist genauso freundlich und sehr lieb es ist nur zu empfehlen ich komme extra von Castell bis dahin gelaufen nur um dort zu essen sehr zu empfehlen!!!
