All-you-can-eat at the lunch buffet for €7.90. Nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars from my original review because "to good to go" regularly has problems with pickup. Example 1: At pickup time, we were told we had to wait until the guests were finished eating. The problem was that the guests had just arrived and would certainly be there for some time. Only after I argued was it accepted that I could fill my box. Example 2: Just because a registered person arrives late, everyone else has to wait. It doesn't matter if they arrive 30 minutes late. The fact that the others have other plans, such as work, and only have a limited break time, isn't taken into account here. I think that if you arrive late, you just have to accept the consequences, especially if you arrive after the official pickup time. This kind of thing happens all the time, which is why I don't go there anymore. I don't think my time is worth wasting sitting around for half an hour just for a cheap meal.

I was shocked when one of the staff members addressed my 87-year-old mother and told her I couldn't try my autumn roll because I had ordered from the buffet. "That's not allowed," she said. The "desserts" came from a discount store, and the ice cream was stored unappealingly in a completely frozen freezer. Annoying background tinkling on an endless loop. Yesterday, we went to this restaurant with friends. I really enjoyed everything; the selection of food and drinks was good. Entry for the evening costs €23.90 plus drinks. I also liked the grill menu. The service was friendly and quick. I highly recommend this restaurant. There's pleasant music playing inside.

I can't understand some of the very bad reviews. We tried the buffet on Saturday evenings and also the buffet during the week on a Monday. The buffet is average and the selection on Mondays is of course less than on Saturday evenings. Everyone has different tastes - the squid rings were a bit too dry for us, just like we found other breaded things dry. The service is good. Our table was always cleared quickly, only when we wanted the bill did we have to wait a little longer on both visits. But overall we liked it here and we will definitely come back. There are also enough parking spaces available.

I ordered from too good to go, went all the way to another city to take a walk and at the end have a delicious meal. The restaurant is located 20 minutes by public transport from the center. I left 40 minutes before the order so as not to be late, I just got to the restaurant and 20 MINUTES before the start I received a message that they had canceled the order, not only did I waste 40 minutes of time there and back, but I also left angry and hungry. Why is it that in Too Good to Go I can cancel an order a maximum of 2 hours in advance, but the restaurant can afford to do this in 20 minutes. Simply outrageous! Will I go to this restaurant again? Of course not, and the point is not that they didn’t get their 5.5, they received anti-advertising, instead of good recommendations and minus other potential guests.

We ate there on Sunday without a reservation; we were allowed to choose a table because there wasn't much going on. There is either buffet or menu, we chose menu. Drinks and food came in a reasonable time. Food can be recommended, large portions. Parking spaces right in front of the door, we'll be happy to come back. Fresh sushi was prepared behind the window, but unfortunately it didn't find its way to the buffet. Instead, there were still individual rancid pieces of sushi on the buffet, with no selection. Even when asked, they didn't serve fresh sushi. Right next to the sushi were the chocolate foam kisses. In the area of ​​the buffet where there was raw meat and fish to be fried, there were big mosquitoes flying everywhere that settled on the meat. The sauces were covered in a thick dry layer. Definitely the last visit for all of us.

On Saturdays there is a family buffet here with a slightly smaller selection than in the evening, but you pay significantly less (as of 2024). With four children, eating here is no problem, choosing the food is exciting and while you wait you can go and look at the large indoor pond with fish and turtles. Conclusion: If you want to eat delicious food in peace and don't necessarily have to have 23,245 different types of seafood, crocodile, wildebeest and penguin on the buffet, this is the right place for you. I went there to pick up my order that I reserved with TooGoodToGo and the lady there told me to wait outside the restaurant and not come in. I told her I needed to use the bathroom and she told me I couldn't use it even though I was her customer. It is a requirement for people working in the service sector to behave decently towards their customers. Horrible and appalling behavior from the old lady that works there. I went there to receive my order that I reserved in TooGoodToGo and the lady there told me to wait outside the restaurant and not come in. I told her that I need to use the washroom for a minute and she told me that I cannot use it despite being their customer. It is a prerequisite for people working in the service industry to behave with their customers properly.

Excellent, rich buffet, both warm and cold. Everything prepared fresh and appetizing. The rooms are impeccably clean and the atmosphere is almost feudal. Plus prices in an area that you usually look for in vain these days. Full recommendation without any compromises, we will be back.

Ordered food there in the evening via Too-good-to-go. Bring your own container if possible. You can then put together whatever you want from the buffet until the container is full. Have 3 meals. Waited almost 1 hour for rice with chicken and vegetables twice and pasta with chicken and vegetables once. Noodles were simply spaghetti and a rice dish was served without meat. In terms of taste, it was also more of a 2/10 and absolutely not recommended.

Was now in ChinaGarden for the second time and cannot understand the negative reviews. The buffet was always replenished, so the food was always fresh. The selection was very good, as was the taste. Great price, definitely worth eating there. Especially when you see the rising prices of food. You can now often only get pizza for 10 euros, so why not eat somewhere for 11 euros where there is a lot of choice? Tastes delicious, but I would like more vegetarian specialties. Ein riesiges Chinesisches Restaurant. Alles was bestellt wurde, war sehr lecker. Sushi Sortiment ist ziemlich eng: 2-3 Sorten Sushi wie Sashimi, aber Qualität ist nicht schlecht. Da es kein Japanisches Restaurant ist, bewerte ich trotzdem mit 5 Sternen. Weiterempfehlung jedem, wer chinesishe Küche mag.

Verdammt lecker und super Service.

Essen teilweise nicht frisch, Sushi optisch abschreckend (haben es deswegen erst gar nicht versucht), geschmacklich auch nicht gerade überzeugend ... da gibt es im Mainzer Raum genügend bessere Adressen für Menschen wie wir, die Teppanyaki lieben.

Wir waren am Samstagabend da und das Restaurant war leer. Wir dachten uns erstmal nichts dabei, aber es hatte wohl seinen Grund. Der Schlemmerblock 2023 wird laut Bedienung nicht mehr anerkannt, da das Dschingis Khan jetzt „China Garden“ heißt. Angelockt und dann dabei abgezockt, nicht so erfreulich für den ersten Eindruck. Das Grillfleisch, sowie das Obst sind von hunderten Fruchtfliegen belagert, sodass man gar nichts davon anrühren wollte. Der Fisch ist ausgetrocknet und das Sushi schmeckt absolut ranzig. Die fertigen Gerichte triefen vor Fett und sind größtenteils alle kalt. Also unterm Strich wirklich kein zufriedenstellendes Essen für 50€ (2 Personen + Getränk). Zu einem Besuch würde ich eher abraten. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.
