Great view, excellent and very friendly service from Ivana, delicious food, we had a wonderful evening on the Alm

It's directly accessible by cable car, and if you're up for it, you can take the summer toboggan run down if the weather's dry. The view from the top is fantastic. There's also plenty on offer, especially for children: mini golf, a playground, alpacas, trampolines, and even a pool, although you have to register for this.

The liver was very tasty and tender, the mashed potatoes were homemade. Unfortunately the Kaiserschmarrn was not good at all (consistency and taste were not good), even though it looks very tasty.

I celebrated my birthday with 30 guests on May 1st (in bright sunshine) at the Schliersberg Alm. From check-in, lunch in the restaurant, coffee and cake in the Almstüberl, dinner buffet and breakfast the following day, EVERYTHING went well, the food and service were excellent. Although it was extremely busy that day. I can only recommend this location and the competent and friendly staff.

We had a family celebration with 20 people in the Almstüberl and also stayed overnight. The service was great, everyone was very friendly, all concerns were taken care of immediately, the buffet was very good and more than enough. Everything was as previously agreed. Prices are typical in the area. We would celebrate there again at any time.

The view is absolutely breathtaking – with Schliersee and the forest stretching out beneath you. We came as a group and tried the Flammkuchen and Weißbier, both of which were tasty. Even in the rain, the cable car keeps running, though the mountain toboggan is closed in wet weather. A lovely spot to enjoy nature!

Good food at upscale prices, but the view is worth it.

A wonderful mountain retreat - ideal for relaxing and recharging your batteries! Staying in this mountain resort was a real refreshment for the soul and body! Surrounded by untouched nature, pine scents and breathtaking views, this place is perfect for anyone who wants to escape from the city's hustle and bustle and stress. The accommodation was extremely clean, warm and comfortable - every detail in the room shows that the guests were thought of. The food in the restaurant is homemade, fresh and rich in flavors - I especially recommend the breakfast with homemade cheese and jams! Also, a big plus are numerous hiking trails, trips to viewpoints and a peaceful atmosphere that encourages relaxation, as well as light physical activity in nature. Highly recommended to everyone looking for a perfect combination of nature, comfort and hospitality.

We took the cable car to the Schliersberg Alm and from there hiked a bit and then walked back into the valley. The place is great. From up here you have a wonderful view of the valley and the Schliersee. We didn't eat anything and didn't spend the night here either. Therefore I cannot rate this. The prices of the dishes are of course adjusted to the location and cost a little more.

We were at the Schliersberg Alm for the first time over the weekend. I really have to say, it was sensational. Great service, very nice staff, rooms neat and clean! Really great. Hats off to this motivated TEAM in what are really not easy times at the moment. Just great. Thank you very much and keep it up.

We came as a hiking group without a reservation. We got very nice places with a unique view. The food and the waiters were very good

Was just a guest in the restaurant. The food isn't anything special, but it's still enjoyable. But what are these sanitary facilities??? It's really amazing that something like this still exists in Germany. A toilet for all the guests? Totally cramped. It wasn't just women who had to wait in line here. Who is surprised? if only one works. Overall, far too small and almost no ventilation. And you can smell it too.

The location is very nice. The food very average. Please expect very, very long queues at the cable car. There are parking spaces at the cable car but they are usually full. The way to the cable car valley station is too strenuous for old people. We stood in line at the valley station for almost 1.5 hours to go up (no toilet). We couldn't notice the tobogganing down because we would have had to stand at least that long again. Of the three existing women's toilets in the restaurant, only two were usable (lots of stairs). One was blocked. The changing area between those waiting and only three toilets are a real imposition for the crowds. Things weren't much better for the men. A shame for such a beautiful destination that attracts people from all over the world. Due to the enormous waiting times on weekends and the few sanitary facilities, the journey to the top is not suitable for older people. But it can also be a test of patience for families who would like to use the toboggan run. What I also found a bit disturbing is the fact that all of the tobogganers use older work gloves that are probably not washed often. They are of course for protection, but a hand basin to wash your hands after undressing would be great. It's a bit disgusting right now without hand disinfection.

If there is any excellent Holiday resort to spend your weekend at , whether be it with family or friends , then this is definitely the place to . Quite easily accessible from Munich , fun activities to do like mini golf etc

I am writing a review about a restaurant. The restaurant is part of the recreation area, which includes a cable car to the mountain, a hotel, a bar, a mini-golf course, an outdoor swimming pool, etc. We took the cable car up the mountain and went to this restaurant with a beautiful view. From here, the entire Schliersee lake and its surrounding areas are at a glance. The restaurant has a calm, romantic atmosphere, the staff is good, but sometimes there was a long wait. Menu of typical Bavarian dishes. Prices are average for Munich, but high for a small Bavarian town. But considering that this is a restaurant at a large hotel, the price is justified. We had beef liver in onion and apple sauce. Not bad and tasty.

Incredible view. Very nice staff. A lot of things are currently being renovated as everything is getting a bit old. Food was good.

Can only rate the restaurant. Location and view: 10/10. The waiter was even less keen on customers than I was at work - but I can hardly blame him for that. The cake can be a little more expensive up there, but it shouldn't remind you of Coppenrath & Wiese.

Great location of the Schliersbergalm with a great hotel, restaurant and many attractions. The hotel rooms are stylishly furnished! Delicious local dishes await you in the restaurant, such as beer goulash or a perfect Kaiserschmarrn! The staff is friendly and always courteous, absolutely warm and attentive. The outdoor area offers a playground, a trampoline, a mini golf course and a pool. You can reach the facility on foot or with the Schliersbergbahn. All around great hiking trails lead back into the valley, otherwise you can use the toboggan run! The view of the mountains and Schliersee is breathtakingly beautiful, always a highlight!

The climb is steep at times, but relatively short. The Alm itself has been renovated and offers a lot. The food was very tasty. The staff is sometimes very unfriendly. Our waiter even warned us to remove the toddlers' drinks from the table. We haven't experienced it before. When I wanted to find out more about a business meeting, I took a look into a meeting room. When staff came into view, I wanted to find out more. Instead of responding positively, I was ripped off by the employee. He was really kidding me. I said I was curious about the meeting rooms and his response was that that's what he was there for and I wasn't allowed to look into the room. He is also curious about my house and my living room and takes a look. How cheeky is that?

Great trip to the Schliersberg Alm. We walked for about 1.5 hours with the kids from the lido to the Alm and were rewarded with beautiful weather and a great view. The food was really good and the price was ok for the very good quality. We then went down on the toboggan run.

Unfortunately there's too much going on and you can't get a place to eat, it's just a complete disaster

We were at the Schliersbergalm for Christmas. And I love it there very much. It's so cozy and quaint there...Especially the rooms, which are reminiscent of Eike's little dollhouse and fairytale room <3 The service is also so wonderfully guest-oriented. Very open, honest, courteous, accommodating, careful and very anxious to ensure that all wishes are fulfilled. Even my favorite winter drink. The food is really first class and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired The view and location is simply fantastic and magical. A real winter wonderland. And a trip there is also worth it in summer, whether it's a day trip or a spontaneous overnight stay. There is a trampoline and swimming pool, great food on the terrace with a breathtaking view <3

The path to the Schliersberg Alm has steep climbs in places. But the view over the Schliersee is great. The food is good.

The quality of the food and drinks in the pavilion is subpar!!! Unfortunately, it is also expensive. Too bad. The staff is friendly at least.

Five stars are not enough! A year ago we ate the best goat cheese salad in the world here and knew straight away: There is no way around the Schliersbergalm on our visit to Schliersee this year. After a wonderful climb, we were rewarded with a breathtaking panorama. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to renovation work, but the beer garden was open - with a small but fine menu. The first small disappointment about the closed restaurant and the somewhat limited menu was quickly forgotten: a delicious light beer, relaxed music and incredibly friendly service immediately created a feel-good atmosphere. But it got even better. Bundi, the chef at Schliersbergalm, prepared our beloved goat cheese salad for us off the menu. More hospitality simply cannot be achieved! We are grateful for great food, delicious drinks, a warm atmosphere and an unforgettable day in one of the most beautiful settings in Bavaria. Thanks to Bundi and the rest of the crew, we'll definitely be back next year!

Fantastic location, excellent service and great food! I was looking for a nice location for my (winter) birthday and had visited a few locations for this. The Schliersbergalm impressed me right from the start for the following reasons: * excellent consultations * great location (view, infrastructure such as sauna, outdoor pool, both open in winter) * diverse activities such as: Torchlight hike, tobogganing, mini golf… * Appropriate number of overnight accommodations (up to 65 beds) * Possibility to book the entire Alm as a private group * very good food selection / flexibility * flexible travel options (hiking, cable car) And how was my birthday weekend? Exactly as I hoped. Everything went absolutely smoothly, the food was fantastic, the service was A1 with stars, the rooms were great and all the guests were completely satisfied. Conclusion: absolutely and definitely recommended!

Our visit to this establishment was an absolute disappointment - we have rarely experienced such poor service! We had asked in advance by phone how long the uphill and downhill journeys could take and announced that we were coming. We could have been told on the phone that it was full and that it could be difficult - but no, we were simply left to run into the situation. At the ticket counter we paid €11 each for the ascent and descent for a total of 4 people. When we arrived at the top, we were asked in an unfriendly manner whether we were hotel guests or external guests. After we honestly said that we were external guests, we were told in a dismissive tone that everything was reserved. When we asked whether there was no possibility at all, we were coldly told that nothing could be done - without any effort to find a solution. The waiter was completely uncooperative and showed no understanding whatsoever, even though we had called beforehand! We then asked for the boss, but apparently he was “not in the house”. Disappointed and angry, we went back to the ticket counter to at least get the cost of the tickets back. Here, too, they were initially unfriendly and showed no understanding before we were reluctantly given a refund. Suddenly the boss who was “not in the house” showed up – another low point of this visit. He tried to clarify the incident with a flag that was second to none. However, he also showed no insight. Instead he actually tried to talk us out of writing a review! An absolute no-go! It's unbelievable how badly guests are treated here. Instead of offering a solution in a friendly manner - be it with a waiting time or an alternative - you were simply brushed off. We've never experienced anything like this before. Once and never again!

Traditional restaurant with fantastic views and very delicious food. We tried typical Bavarian dishes such as the Spinat Knödel that you see in the photo and the chestnut soup that was very good. The Bavarian sausage salad is what we liked the least.

We celebrated our Christmas party there and were very happy with the location and the service. We would also like to highlight Mr. Andrej Fidancev. We arrived by bike in a small group and with his friendly manner he helped us with all of our special requests and always responded very quickly in advance.

We love the view and the rustic decor and now come every year ☺️ can only recommend it! The pool is unheated 😉

The view and location are always fantastic! But offering self-service coffee, latte, cappuccino (no espresso) for €3.50 at the machine without change!!!, which doesn't taste good, is an impudence and a money-making scam. This does not contribute to a successful completion of a hike.

Wonderful hiking, delicious food and if you don't want to walk anymore you can take the gondola. There is a great view at the top.

Food didn't really impress me that much. Kaiserschmarrn was well prepared but tasted too compact. No fluffiness. Condition was quite stressed. When there is a lot going on, waiting times are very long. Otherwise nice location with great views. Can still recommend it.

Always worth a trip. The renovation in the SB Alm was very successful. The portions and the presentation of the food were even more appealing than in previous years. We'd love to come back.

The view is world class: postcard idyll...the food is also largely convincing. The herring fillet and the burrata are highly recommended. The spinach dumplings, on the other hand, are not very convincing.

Unfortunately, you first have to get to the top to find out that the pavilion is closed at 4 p.m. and the garden bar closes at 5 p.m. To make matters worse, there was no space in the restaurant because everything was reserved. The view is very nice and the ambience is recommended, but I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to call ahead.

Beautiful view over the Schliersee and surrounding area. We were 3 friends who stayed at the hotel: Extremely friendly welcome at the hotel. Rarely enjoyed such a friendly and relaxed reception. The rooms are simply furnished, beds are 5/10 (we are demanding), bathroom and balcony 6/10. The pool area is great: loungers, lawn, great view, very well maintained. The hikes around the hotel are not special (but we weren't sold otherwise). The restaurant 10/10: great menu, great quality and very friendly service. We would recommend it and come back. Unfortunately I can only give this 2 stars... We two families with small children were on the mountain pasture in mid-August wanted to enjoy the really magnificent view and eat something. Another highlight is the possibility of taking the summer toboggan back to the valley station. The food in general was very mediocre in taste. Roast pork 40% fat content Schnitzel with potato salad, no fries!!! Schnitzel was served completely without ketchup. That doesn't work at all. 50 cents per packet The worst thing, however, were the wasps. It was not possible to eat the food comfortably, and unfortunately it was also not possible to eat it inside the inn. Outlook 5/5 stars Summer toboggan run 5/5 stars Food 2/5 Service 4/5 Unfortunately, due to the rather poor food and the many wasps, we couldn't enjoy the trip to the alpine pasture, which is a shame for a location like this.

Pretty old. The pool house and the stairs to the trampoline as well as some of the playground look dilapidated. The summer toboggan run is an imposition. My daughter kept getting stuck. Very old! The other toboggan run was dismantled. Mini golf €7! for 9 holes. Food was mediocre. Fries not cooked through. View is very nice. Toilet :-( / Few parking spaces. In the parking lot above 5€. Staff quite friendly. Total for father with 7 year old daughter: Cable car ride with toboggan about 17€ Golf 12€ Food Sausage salad and nuggets 2 drinks 26 EUR Parking 5€ = 60€ . I wouldn't do it again

Enjoying a glass of light beer up there on the terrace with a view of the Schliersee is a really nice experience. The cable car is completely okay.

Restaurant completely overpriced. Table water/tap water and juice spritzers cost just under €5. Although it wasn't a juice spritzer. Syrup diluted with water. In the side salad there were flies and half of the lettuce leaves were wilted with brown spots. There was also a fly in the main course (flambée). Pure rip off and no quality. Never again!

Very nice view over the whole lake. Take the cable car 🚡 up and either walk down or take the toboggan run.

We took a trip to Schliersee on Saturday and decided to take the train up the mountain (prices for the cable car are ok 11 euros per person as I have a severe disability we only paid 16 euros for the up and down journey for 2) . The restaurant is very nice and has a great view, the food is also very good, we had a beef broth with liver spatsle (unfortunately it wasn't beef broth), a schnitzel with potato salad and a roast pork (the portions were huge) on the whole everything was great.

Unfortunately the staff only opened the garden and pointed out the nice weather. However, a number of guests would have liked to eat the very good-looking food inside the restaurant in peace without the multitude of wasps. Unfortunately the staff wasn't that flexible and we went to the Winklstüberl.

Very nice view of the Schliersee. However, roast pork was disappointing...almost everything (except the roast itself) was convenience products (sauce, dumplings, coleslaw)...but considerable prices for such a simple dish.

The location should get 10 stars. Beautiful place. The only thing that could be diversified a bit is the menu (with poultry dishes). Great breakfast! Swimming pool, trampolines, playground for children. Pets accepted! The queue for the cable car is gigantic - the only minus.

We had a wonderful day yesterday at the Schliersberg Alm! Originally starting with a day trip, we were thrilled by the view, the ambience and the wonderful playlist and were super lucky that we were even able to book the last room completely spontaneously! So we were able to enjoy the day even more because the car could stop... Thanks to the operator Victor, who even got us extra Veltiner for the wine spritzer. Top service! Top overnight stay and a great day on the Schliersberg Alm! Truly a lasting memory! Thank you for everything!!!

A wonderful place for young and old. In addition to a large playground, there is a toboggan run, trampolines, mini golf and a heated pool. The restaurant has very tasty food (mmm, that Kaiserschmarrn!!) and the breakfast for hotel guests is also impressive. There is a wide selection and even plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. The sauna is very well maintained and there are great salts for rubbing in. We were greeted in a more than friendly manner and would come back at any time.

We celebrated a friend's JGA on the mountain pasture and had two really wonderful days! The Alm is in a fantastic location with a great view of Lake Schliersee. The pool and sauna invite you to relax and for all action lovers there is a toboggan run with which you can whiz straight from the alpine pasture down to the valley station. The food was also very tasty - a big thank you to the whole team, we felt really comfortable with you and would love to come back!

We had a fantastic bachelor party at the Schliersberg Alm and can only warmly recommend this experience! The entire team impressed us from start to finish. A special thank you goes to Max at reception, who warmly welcomed us with his friendliness and willingness to help. Paul was a great service person and always made us feel welcome with his attention and smile. Big praise also goes to Victor, who leads a great team here and ensures that everything runs smoothly. The organization and the ambience were simply perfect. We can particularly recommend a BBQ evening in the Almstüberl - that was really something very special! Many thanks to the entire Schliersberg Alm team for these unforgettable days!

Kaiserschmarn was so bad, but except that everything was ok

You pay €11 per person for the ride up/down, only to find out that you won't be served in the restaurant because the waiter is overwhelmed.

The location is simply indescribably beautiful with a great view over Lake Schliersee. Food was very tasty, nice portions and the price was right for the location. Very friendly and attentive staff. The descent on the summer toboggan run is great fun, but should be enjoyed with caution.

Very nicely located Alm+Hotel. Fantastic view of the Schliersee! The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are great and clean! The only drawback for us were the mattresses, which were very sagging. We would still like to come back!

Always worth a trip. We went up by train and down on foot. Great view of the lake and the path is easy to walk. There are various options for eating and drinking at the top of the mountain pasture. Something for everyone. There is a playground, a trampoline, a small mini golf course and a pool.

I ask him for water to drink he said no you need to sit on a table 😡 .

I took the train up and hiked back down. The house inside is very beautiful. I didn't eat there, so no review is possible. The view from there is great. The descent is pleasant.

We celebrated a big birthday up here and were totally thrilled. Even the "arrival" with the gondola is a highlight for the children, then there is the toboggan run, which they can use directly or otherwise upstairs the pool, trampolines, playground, carousel or mini golf. The location of the Alm is unbeatable with this beautiful view of Lake Schliersee. We were greeted very nicely at reception and taken to our room. The communication and booking in advance was also great. Dinner and breakfast also very tasty. Overall, we were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

The Schliersberg Alm is worth a trip with children if you are on vacation in the region! Swimming pool, trampoline, chess, mini golf (9 holes), carousel, all subject to additional costs. The real attraction is the summer toboggan run, down into the valley and back up in the gondola, it's fun! Eating and drinking in the garden restaurant with service, the outside area with self-service, prices are unfortunately quite high.

Really sad how bad the service is. 15 minutes wait for the menu, another 15 to place an order. All in all 1 hour 20 minutes for one drink and one meal (per person). Mind you: a minimum of 5 waitresses and a maximum of 20 guests. If there is a light to medium wind (which you are supposed to have all the time up there), you are not allowed to open the umbrellas (funnily enough, the umbrellas in the self-service area are obviously more durable, they were all open). Answer to my request to at least get the menu: "There is also a self-service area" and very friendly "you'll just have to wait a few minutes." Extremely service-oriented (irony off). The salmon steak was half raw, the goulash was full of stringy meat, in the end almost 80 euros for bad service and mediocre food. Save yourself the Alpine pasture and go tobogganing straight away.

Location: great, food is good, service (outside) is also questionable in my opinion. Why? If there are more than 5 tables/benches available for around 8 people and there are four of us and then we are asked to sit at a small table then I don't think that's good service. Justification from the waitress; I need the big tables for larger groups. Understandable. But not when there are still so many tables available! The music is also more apres ski than comfortable but that's a matter of subjective taste

Recommended for a walk and a short stay, the train is old but still fun. When we were there, the Alpine tobogganer unfortunately didn't go, the trampolines are a disaster, the payment system and the description of the revolving door urgently need to be improved. The protection of small children is also not guaranteed here, in the event of an emergency you cannot reach the children. 3 stars because the train is cult, but a little more should be done, otherwise there will soon be a lot of negative comments.

Gastronomy NOT recommended. We didn't like it for the second time: today we had Kaiserschmarren that was far too dry and hard. We were only able to eat half of it - without enjoying it. Even the white sausages were borderline tasty. The view is really nice, but we won't eat there again in the future.

Beautiful location above the Schliersee! I stayed here for one night. The staff were extremely friendly, even when making the reservation in advance, and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. I will gladly come again!

The view is fantastic. The entertainment options for children are also great. The rooms are inadequate and old for the price. The included breakfast is uninspired and not particularly good. The food is ok but the value for money is also poor here. Drinks are also way too expensive (8.50 for an Aperol Spritz?!). One waiter was great, everyone else was the opposite.

Operator area is highly recommended. Kaiserschmarren as well as pomegranate lemonade and pine spritz were very good. I didn't like the self-service area because we could only get the soft drinks in plastic cups. Normal glasses would have been more attractive here. There is also a lot on offer for children.

We hiked up to the alpine pasture, had lunch there and then took the toboggan run down. The food was good and the price was ok. Unfortunately, the waitresses weren't very friendly and it took a long time. The toboggan run is really old and the toboggans are difficult to use. I wouldn't let a little daredevil go down there alone, he'll fly out of the curve.

Here you can relax after a wonderful, always free mountain railway ride (if you are a guest there). The area is extensive. There are enough outdoor spaces to have something to eat here. The view is wonderful. But the swimming pool is also really great. Depending on the weather, it can be chilly, but that doesn't matter in this beautiful setting. We had two rooms outside the main house and everything was great here too. Our dog was also welcome. The waitresses are very friendly. On very nice days there are a lot of people who come here as day guests. In the morning and early evening the crowds are over and you can enjoy the beautiful area to the fullest with plenty of peace and quiet. We will definitely come here again because we really enjoyed it.

Great day trip with 2 children. Great spot. Up on foot. And at the end go down on the toboggan. Playground, forest, trampoline, pool...etc. simply great! 😁
