We stopped here for a bite to eat and were very satisfied 👍 The service was excellent and the staff very accommodating. The location and the view were simply wonderful, and we'll definitely stay overnight next time. The prices were perfectly reasonable, and all the food was delicious.

This is what tourism of the future looks like – sterile, meticulously calculated, and utterly soulless. Here, every view costs money, every step is controlled, and even nature seems to be under contract. Machines, tickets, turnstiles – a perfectly orchestrated mini-Disneyland above Lake Schliersee. Anyone seeking the real outdoors should move on. Here, you only get the illusion of it – for a fee, of course.

The hotel offers affordable accommodation, easily accessible by cable car, and boasts excellent views. The food was of good quality and the service was extremely courteous. One minor drawback is the swing seats on the balcony, which tend to bang against the wall or window in windy weather.

The service during the meal was superb. The food was just like Grandma's cooking – delicious home-style cooking. And of course, Kaiserschmarrn to finish. The rooms were a dream! With a view of the valley. And all this just an hour from Munich. We'd love to come back!

After a long hike with a baby in a backpack carrier, we were happy to have something to eat at the inn. First we were rudely informed that the upper terrace, which is very shady, was now closed even though guests were sitting there. Then we looked for another spot. We put the backpack carrier with the baby down and got the baby and things for the baby out. The waitress very rudely pointed out to us that we were not allowed to be in the corridor with the backpack carrier. We then put it next to us. Then we were ignored by the waitress and not served. The people next to us were served and the people after us, but not us. After a hike, especially with a baby, you look forward to something nice to drink and eat, which unfortunately we didn't get.

This beautiful hotel I actually prefer to keep secret and I’m only sharing this because the hotel people are so lovely and they deserve all the sweet dear guests they can handle! On the top of a mountain you can only reach by cable car or by foot is this lovely resting place with their abundant breakfasts, delicious menu, authentically decorated rooms and down-to-earth staff. Only a short (train) ride from Munich awaits this great experience. When the day guests and the children’s voices leave (lots to do for children), the mountains start to overtake with their silence and breathtaking views. A place we go back to again and again!

We were at the Schliegersee Alm for a team bonding event. The waiter was very kind to have arranged the tables for us despite not having a reservation ( please reserve ahead, we were just lucky!). The service was super fast and the food was excellent in taste and portion. They were very attentive and took care of all our needs. Kind enough also to take some beautiful pictures of us despite a busy evening. Overall, we would recommend this for business events and also private events.

20250915_nice little trip to Schliersee and to the alpine pasture of the same name, lots of tables, quite a bit of space and a great view, suitable for children.

I've been here several times; the place is truly wonderful. The views are breathtaking, the restaurant has delicious food, but the service is very rude. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to sit by the window because, apparently, the seats were reserved, and then other guests came and sat down without reservations. It's a strange atmosphere and the customer service is very stiff.

Special greetings to the grill hut

We opted for the self-service hut. The lentil soup—with a choice of wood-fired bread or pretzels—is delicious and among the best we've ever eaten in our lives. Freshly prepared with vegetables and lots of love, which you can taste.

I tried it three times and was annoyed three times. The Coke tasted stale, the meat was bland, the beans dripped with oil. The kids thought the spaghetti was too spicy, and unfortunately, no one liked the schnitzel. The location is great, the view is unique. However, the food is lagging behind.

A wonderful stay at the Hotel Schliersbergalm! Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and excellent food. We would especially like to emphasize the friendliness of the entire team – a big thank you to Andrej Fidancev at the reception, who looked after us so warmly. Our 5-year-old daughter loved the trampoline, pool, and playground – a true children's paradise. We've already booked again for next year!

The hike to the Schliersbergalm is beautiful and easily doable with children. The view along the trail and from the top is fantastic. Unfortunately, the food at the alpine pasture is not good. We had spinach dumplings in butter with Parmesan and tomatoes: the (ready-made?) dumplings were much too firm, lacked flavor, and were swimming in butter; Parmesan was barely visible. The fries were standard good. The service was fast and seemed to cater to the masses, lacking in friendliness. Conclusion: You don't need to come here for the food, but the location and the facilities, including the summer toboggan run, playground, and pool, certainly make the place very attractive.

We took a day trip to the alpine pasture. It's easy to reach on foot, of course, and it's located on the mountain, so it's a bit steep, but there's strength in the tranquility, and the view is rewarding. The self-service restaurant was top-notch. Despite the fact that the pasture was busy, everything was done quickly and with a friendly attitude. And a mishap with the €37 tip was immediately resolved in a friendly and courteous manner, for which we received an extra €5. We went down on the summer toboggan run, which is a bit dated but reasonably priced at €6.50. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work :-))))

A very beautiful path up, with a constant view of the lake. Ideal for families with children. The alpine hut is fantastic, with good food, fair prices, and a nice playground.

A picturesque location. Accessible by cable car, the views are exceptional. It's worth stopping by for a beer and enjoying the scenery. From here, you can also take a ride in a trolley in a chute, a tourist attraction.

I can't rate the rooms, as I wasn't an overnight guest. The service is very good, even if it feels like a mass-processing experience. As is typical for an alpine pasture, the prices aren't cheap. The portions are medium, and the view, for example, definitely makes up for it.

We spent a wonderful afternoon by the pool and at dinner. 😃👍🏻 Service was good and the food was delicious 😋 I had the cheese spaetzle and my son had the Schwabenpfandl (swallow pan). Highly recommended. The view was fantastic.

The view is brilliant, and the staff is mostly courteous. However, the food (especially the meat dishes) is well below average despite the high prices. Smoking is permitted at the pool, although children are usually in the immediate vicinity. The rooms and playground are in need of renovation. Suggestions for the hotel: - Mosquito nets in the rooms would be a good investment. - The children's playground lacks shade.

We hiked from Schliersee to the alpine pasture and, after a refreshing meal in the beer garden, tobogganed down into the valley. It's a great outing for all ages 😃 and the food is excellent 🤩

Beautiful location; we hiked from the campsite up to the alpine pasture. Once at the top, we treated ourselves to one (or two) Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes). One would have been enough to share, but two were too many and unfortunately rather solid in consistency. The location itself is great. You can either toboggan down or take the cable car. We chose the latter since we had a dog with us. The ride down was €6.50 per person (both are the same price), and €3 for the dog.

The climb to the alpine pasture was steep and not a walk as described everywhere, but definitely doable, even with children. The alpine pasture itself is beautiful, with a playground for kids and the opportunity to play mini golf...not cheap, but it's there. The food was disappointing. The roast was very tough and the potato salad was from a plastic container! It was definitely tasty, as were the potato pancakes. The waiter was nice, at least for us. So, no need to go up there just for food. It's worth it for a drink and the great view.

A fantastic stay any time of year. There's something for every taste in the restaurant or on the sun terrace. Even special requests have been accommodated. We've been here several times for breakfast or lunch. The food is always fresh and delicious. The alpine pasture is easily accessible on foot or by cable car. Other attractions round out the diverse offerings on Schliersberg. You can linger here for a very long time. The view of Schliersee and the valley is breathtaking.

Truly a dreamy trip! The view from the Schliersberg Alm is simply unbeatable, and the cable car ride alone is an experience. The food was delicious, and the service was super friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable day!

I'm only writing about the Schliersbergalm's self-service restaurant, without a hotel room. We were there on July 31, 1925. A very friendly employee works at the food counter, always in a good mood. This rubs off on us. The goulash soup and currywurst were plentiful and very tasty. While we were eating, we had a wonderful view of the valley and the mountains. It's a truly powerful place.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. When we first walked in, we were greeted by a male employee who immediately asked us if we wanted to sit inside. We politely replied that we would prefer to sit outside to enjoy the view. However, he immediately told us that this wasn't possible – without further explanation. About 15 to 30 minutes later, we returned and were surprised to see that other guests were sitting outside. This kind of behavior seems like a double standard and was genuinely disappointing. Furthermore, the employee was quite rude and unaccommodating, which further spoiled the overall impression. The place itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but this kind of treatment from the staff unfortunately ruins the entire experience.

We hosted a wedding at the Schliersbergalm with 80 guests. The location is a dream for this occasion. The service was extremely friendly and very committed to providing all guests with a wonderful, successful wedding experience. The many recreational activities for adults and children were very helpful. The restaurant, which was running concurrently on the mountain pasture, didn't disrupt the celebration at all. We thank Viktor and his team for a successful wedding weekend!

We spent a family weekend at the Schliersbergbahn Alm with 12 people, including four children (4-7 years old). It was a great location with lots of attractions for the kids. Very friendly service and good food.

Great experience to sleep up on the mountain, everyone was super nice

About a 35-minute walk up from the valley is the Schliersberg Restaurant/Hotel. Don't expect it to be empty, as everyone who wants to go hiking or just take a short stroll in nature stops there. There's also a summer toboggan run, but reviews advise against it, as it's too narrow and dangerous, and it's easy to get injured. The food in the restaurant arrived super quickly. You can choose from a la carte options or a sausage roll to go. The spinach dumplings were good; we were satisfied and fortified for the hike.
