Schliersberg Alm in Schliersee

Were served decently and friendly. Ox cheeks were very, very tasty.

The view and location are always fantastic! But offering self-service coffee, latte, cappuccino (no espresso) for €3.50 at the machine without change!!!, which doesn't taste good, is an impudence and a money-making scam. This does not contribute to a successful completion of a hike.

Wonderful hiking, delicious food and if you don't want to walk anymore you can take the gondola. There is a great view at the top.

Food didn't really impress me that much. Kaiserschmarrn was well prepared but tasted too compact. No fluffiness. Condition was quite stressed. When there is a lot going on, waiting times are very long. Otherwise nice location with great views. Can still recommend it.

Always worth a trip. The renovation in the SB Alm was very successful. The portions and the presentation of the food were even more appealing than in previous years. We'd love to come back.

The view is world class: postcard idyll...the food is also largely convincing. The herring fillet and the burrata are highly recommended. The spinach dumplings, on the other hand, are not very convincing.

Unfortunately, you first have to get to the top to find out that the pavilion is closed at 4 p.m. and the garden bar closes at 5 p.m. To make matters worse, there was no space in the restaurant because everything was reserved. The view is very nice and the ambience is recommended, but I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to call ahead.

Beautiful view over the Schliersee and surrounding area. We were 3 friends who stayed at the hotel: Extremely friendly welcome at the hotel. Rarely enjoyed such a friendly and relaxed reception. The rooms are simply furnished, beds are 5/10 (we are demanding), bathroom and balcony 6/10. The pool area is great: loungers, lawn, great view, very well maintained. The hikes around the hotel are not special (but we weren't sold otherwise). The restaurant 10/10: great menu, great quality and very friendly service. We would recommend it and come back. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately I can only give this 2 stars... We two families with small children were on the mountain pasture in mid-August wanted to enjoy the really magnificent view and eat something. Another highlight is the possibility of taking the summer toboggan back to the valley station. The food in general was very mediocre in taste. Roast pork 40% fat content Schnitzel with potato salad, no fries!!! Schnitzel was served completely without ketchup. That doesn't work at all. 50 cents per packet The worst thing, however, were the wasps. It was not possible to eat the food comfortably, and unfortunately it was also not possible to eat it inside the inn. Outlook 5/5 stars Summer toboggan run 5/5 stars Food 2/5 Service 4/5 Unfortunately, due to the rather poor food and the many wasps, we couldn't enjoy the trip to the alpine pasture, which is a shame for a location like this.

Pretty old. The pool house and the stairs to the trampoline as well as some of the playground look dilapidated. The summer toboggan run is an imposition. My daughter kept getting stuck. Very old! The other toboggan run was dismantled. Mini golf €7! for 9 holes. Food was mediocre. Fries not cooked through. View is very nice. Toilet :-( / Few parking spaces. In the parking lot above 5€. Staff quite friendly. Total for father with 7 year old daughter: Cable car ride with toboggan about 17€ Golf 12€ Food Sausage salad and nuggets 2 drinks 26 EUR Parking 5€ = 60€ . I wouldn't do it again

Enjoying a glass of light beer up there on the terrace with a view of the Schliersee is a really nice experience. The cable car is completely okay.

Restaurant completely overpriced. Table water/tap water and juice spritzers cost just under €5. Although it wasn't a juice spritzer. Syrup diluted with water. In the side salad there were flies and half of the lettuce leaves were wilted with brown spots. There was also a fly in the main course (flambée). Pure rip off and no quality. Never again!

Very nice view over the whole lake. Take the cable car 🚡 up and either walk down or take the toboggan run.

We took a trip to Schliersee on Saturday and decided to take the train up the mountain (prices for the cable car are ok 11 euros per person as I have a severe disability we only paid 16 euros for the up and down journey for 2) . The restaurant is very nice and has a great view, the food is also very good, we had a beef broth with liver spatsle (unfortunately it wasn't beef broth), a schnitzel with potato salad and a roast pork (the portions were huge) on the whole everything was great.

Unforgettable view of the Schliersee! Breakfast: Best omelet I've ever had. Location: fantastic and very quiet once the day guests have left. Very nice receptionist.

Easy hike with a great destination.

It was very nice. The Kaiserschmarren is excellent and the roast pork is also a poem. Plus the view and the white-blue sky. This is how I imagine the sky of Bavaria

Unfortunately the staff only opened the garden and pointed out the nice weather. However, a number of guests would have liked to eat the very good-looking food inside the restaurant in peace without the multitude of wasps. Unfortunately the staff wasn't that flexible and we went to the Winklstüberl.

Very nice view of the Schliersee. However, roast pork was disappointing...almost everything (except the roast itself) was convenience products (sauce, dumplings, coleslaw)...but considerable prices for such a simple dish.

The location should get 10 stars. Beautiful place. The only thing that could be diversified a bit is the menu (with poultry dishes). Great breakfast! Swimming pool, trampolines, playground for children. Pets accepted! The queue for the cable car is gigantic - the only minus.

We had a wonderful day yesterday at the Schliersberg Alm! Originally starting with a day trip, we were thrilled by the view, the ambience and the wonderful playlist and were super lucky that we were even able to book the last room completely spontaneously! So we were able to enjoy the day even more because the car could stop... Thanks to the operator Victor, who even got us extra Veltiner for the wine spritzer. Top service! Top overnight stay and a great day on the Schliersberg Alm! Truly a lasting memory! Thank you for everything!!!

A wonderful place for young and old. In addition to a large playground, there is a toboggan run, trampolines, mini golf and a heated pool. The restaurant has very tasty food (mmm, that Kaiserschmarrn!!) and the breakfast for hotel guests is also impressive. There is a wide selection and even plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. The sauna is very well maintained and there are great salts for rubbing in. We were greeted in a more than friendly manner and would come back at any time.

We had a fantastic bachelor party at the Schliersberg Alm and can only warmly recommend this experience! The entire team impressed us from start to finish. A special thank you goes to Max at reception, who warmly welcomed us with his friendliness and willingness to help. Paul was a great service person and always made us feel welcome with his attention and smile. Big praise also goes to Victor, who leads a great team here and ensures that everything runs smoothly. The organization and the ambience were simply perfect. We can particularly recommend a BBQ evening in the Almstüberl - that was really something very special! Many thanks to the entire Schliersberg Alm team for these unforgettable days!

A weekend at the Schliersberg Alm is definitely worth it! I had a brilliant weekend with my girls with a pool, sauna and delicious food! The staff is also very attentive and friendly!! I'll be back :)

Kaiserschmarn was so bad, but except that everything was ok

We celebrated a friend's JGA on the mountain pasture and had two really wonderful days! The Alm is in a fantastic location with a great view of Lake Schliersee. The pool and sauna invite you to relax and for all action lovers there is a toboggan run with which you can whiz straight from the alpine pasture down to the valley station. The food was also very tasty - a big thank you to the whole team, we felt really comfortable with you and would love to come back!

You pay €11 per person for the ride up/down, only to find out that you won't be served in the restaurant because the waiter is overwhelmed.

The location is simply indescribably beautiful with a great view over Lake Schliersee. Food was very tasty, nice portions and the price was right for the location. Very friendly and attentive staff. The descent on the summer toboggan run is great fun, but should be enjoyed with caution.

Very nicely located Alm+Hotel. Fantastic view of the Schliersee! The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are great and clean! The only drawback for us were the mattresses, which were very sagging. We would still like to come back!

Always worth a trip. We went up by train and down on foot. Great view of the lake and the path is easy to walk. There are various options for eating and drinking at the top of the mountain pasture. Something for everyone. There is a playground, a trampoline, a small mini golf course and a pool.

I ask him for water to drink he said no you need to sit on a table 😡 .

I took the train up and hiked back down. The house inside is very beautiful. I didn't eat there, so no review is possible. The view from there is great. The descent is pleasant.

We celebrated a big birthday up here and were totally thrilled. Even the "arrival" with the gondola is a highlight for the children, then there is the toboggan run, which they can use directly or otherwise upstairs the pool, trampolines, playground, carousel or mini golf. The location of the Alm is unbeatable with this beautiful view of Lake Schliersee. We were greeted very nicely at reception and taken to our room. The communication and booking in advance was also great. Dinner and breakfast also very tasty. Overall, we were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

The Schliersberg Alm is worth a trip with children if you are on vacation in the region! Swimming pool, trampoline, chess, mini golf (9 holes), carousel, all subject to additional costs. The real attraction is the summer toboggan run, down into the valley and back up in the gondola, it's fun! Eating and drinking in the garden restaurant with service, the outside area with self-service, prices are unfortunately quite high.

Really sad how bad the service is. 15 minutes wait for the menu, another 15 to place an order. All in all 1 hour 20 minutes for one drink and one meal (per person). Mind you: a minimum of 5 waitresses and a maximum of 20 guests. If there is a light to medium wind (which you are supposed to have all the time up there), you are not allowed to open the umbrellas (funnily enough, the umbrellas in the self-service area are obviously more durable, they were all open). Answer to my request to at least get the menu: "There is also a self-service area" and very friendly "you'll just have to wait a few minutes." Extremely service-oriented (irony off). The salmon steak was half raw, the goulash was full of stringy meat, in the end almost 80 euros for bad service and mediocre food. Save yourself the Alpine pasture and go tobogganing straight away.

Location: great, food is good, service (outside) is also questionable in my opinion. Why? If there are more than 5 tables/benches available for around 8 people and there are four of us and then we are asked to sit at a small table then I don't think that's good service. Justification from the waitress; I need the big tables for larger groups. Understandable. But not when there are still so many tables available! The music is also more apres ski than comfortable but that's a matter of subjective taste

Recommended for a walk and a short stay, the train is old but still fun. When we were there, the Alpine tobogganer unfortunately didn't go, the trampolines are a disaster, the payment system and the description of the revolving door urgently need to be improved. The protection of small children is also not guaranteed here, in the event of an emergency you cannot reach the children. 3 stars because the train is cult, but a little more should be done, otherwise there will soon be a lot of negative comments.

Gastronomy NOT recommended. We didn't like it for the second time: today we had Kaiserschmarren that was far too dry and hard. We were only able to eat half of it - without enjoying it. Even the white sausages were borderline tasty. The view is really nice, but we won't eat there again in the future.

Beautiful location above the Schliersee! I stayed here for one night. The staff were extremely friendly, even when making the reservation in advance, and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. I will gladly come again!

The view is fantastic. The entertainment options for children are also great. The rooms are inadequate and old for the price. The included breakfast is uninspired and not particularly good. The food is ok but the value for money is also poor here. Drinks are also way too expensive (8.50 for an Aperol Spritz?!). One waiter was great, everyone else was the opposite.

Operator area is highly recommended. Kaiserschmarren as well as pomegranate lemonade and pine spritz were very good. I didn't like the self-service area because we could only get the soft drinks in plastic cups. Normal glasses would have been more attractive here. There is also a lot on offer for children.

We hiked up to the alpine pasture, had lunch there and then took the toboggan run down. The food was good and the price was ok. Unfortunately, the waitresses weren't very friendly and it took a long time. The toboggan run is really old and the toboggans are difficult to use. I wouldn't let a little daredevil go down there alone, he'll fly out of the curve.

Here you can relax after a wonderful, always free mountain railway ride (if you are a guest there). The area is extensive. There are enough outdoor spaces to have something to eat here. The view is wonderful. But the swimming pool is also really great. Depending on the weather, it can be chilly, but that doesn't matter in this beautiful setting. We had two rooms outside the main house and everything was great here too. Our dog was also welcome. The waitresses are very friendly. On very nice days there are a lot of people who come here as day guests. In the morning and early evening the crowds are over and you can enjoy the beautiful area to the fullest with plenty of peace and quiet. We will definitely come here again because we really enjoyed it.

Great day trip with 2 children. Great spot. Up on foot. And at the end go down on the toboggan. Playground, forest, trampoline, pool...etc. simply great! 😁

It's a bit of a shame that it isn't stated at the entrance to the cable car that the restaurant is a closed group and that the beer garden is also closed to hiking customers. We discovered this after spending €30 on the cable car. Quite a shame, to be honest.

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday there! We were a group of 50 guests and everything went perfectly. Kitchen great, service top!!!! I would love to turn back time to experience the celebration again! Thanks again to the team!

Always worthwhile. 10 minutes from the train station. It doesn't get any better. Short and somewhat steep climb at times. The lowland Tyrolean is guaranteed to work up a sweat. 😅 In summer it's better to go early in the morning. Once at the top there is food and drinks and additional lounge chairs with a free view of the lake and the mountains and surrounding area with Bavarian pop music. Anyone who was still there wasn't at Schliersee. 👍

We were just outside in the self-service area. We were there at the beginning of March and it was already very crowded. The view is really great. You had to queue for a while for your drinks. Beer, Aperol, 2x A-Schorle for €20 are really okay. Steak and sausage rolls for €4.50 each are also possible. The waiter was already very stressed. In between, the rolls ran out. There is still a construction site at the moment. But it could still be finished in high season.

After our hike on Schliersee yesterday in fantastic weather, we planned to stop off at the Schlierseeberg Alm. We met an extremely unfriendly and annoyed employee who first complained to my girlfriend without saying hello that we no longer need to sit on the terrace as no more food is served. When asked if there was anything to eat in the dining room, he didn't answer at all and was never seen again. We waited inside for half an hour, along with many other guests who had also been waiting for a long time... Nothing happened. Nobody cared. We started our way home without having eaten and so did a few others. Absolutely impossible and rude... Nobody gets a recommendation for this Alm from me. By the way...the food in town was excellent!

Great trip if you have children: the Alm has a golf course, trampoline, playground and pool and the toboggan run is really fun! You can drive more often if you don't want to climb the mountain again (one-way tour - approx. 45mn), as there is also a cable car. However, the food isn't much of a pleasure, I recommend a homemade snack. You can enjoy it with a view of Lake Sxhliersee :-)

We absolutely loved it, even though we didn't stay here. The food was delicious, the service (a little late), the staff were very nice. The landscape is a dream, everything that was made available to children and adults here deserves high praise. The proof is the amount of people!!! We definitely plan to come here again. And definitely still recommended! Have fun everyone! Addition after a year: the service has unfortunately deteriorated, it took an hour and 10 minutes from the time the order was taken until it was served, and the drinks arrived almost 20 minutes later after the order was placed. Otherwise everything was like a year ago: location great, food a pleasure!!

We were at the Schliersberg Alm for the first time over the weekend. I really have to say, it was sensational. Great service, very nice staff, rooms neat and clean! Really great. Hats off to this motivated TEAM in what are really not easy times at the moment. Just great. Thanks and keep it up.

Good service at the Schliersbergalm. The Kaiserschmarrn was, as always, incredibly good.

It was such a nice stay (just in the inn) on a bitterly cold winter day. Super friendly lady in service: a very nice and courteous service who asks about any special requests when ordering. Very great and very rarely experienced. The food is of very good quality and very nicely prepared. We'll definitely be back!

Wir hatten auf der Alm einen sehr sehr schönen und erholsamen Kurzurlaub! Das Personal der Seilbahn, des Restaurants und des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und vorkommend. Das Essen war lecker und die Lage einfach nur schön. Wir.kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal vorbei.

We dint stay in the hotel but we went to the restaurant. It had a great view with nice food and drinks. The place is easy to reach by cable car from Schliersee. It has great mountain and lake view. They have a swimming pool with lake view which was almost frozen when we reached there. Must visit place if you are in Schliersee.

Hier gibt es einen einfach wunderbaren Ausblick hinunter auf den tollen Schliersee. Man Sieht im Hintergrund auch Tiere wie zum Beispiel Schafe in Weiß und Braun. Es dort vor Ort viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder und gleich nebenan die Schlierberg Gondelbahn und als ganz tolle Idee für den Weg wieder nach unten bis ins Tal die Sommerrodelbahn wo man einen richtig riesigen tollen Bob zum reinsetzen -(Kinder oder Erwachsene) bekommt und dann auf einer Sommerrodelbahn mitten durch den Wald also komplett in der Natur nach unten ins Tal sausen kann. Oben bei der Unterkunft in der Alm gibt es ein gemütliches Kaminzimmer für die Übernachtungsgäste und im Außenbereich sogar einen recht großen Schwimmingpool und nebendran für die Kinder gleich direkt am Hang einen gut eingezäunten Hüpfberreich. Ich gehe gerne immer wieder hier Wandern und nehme eine leckere warme oder kalte Pause auf der Alm ein. Es besteht die Möglichkeit über den Schliersberg zu laufen und auf der anderen Seite wieder runter so kommt man dann zu einem weiteren kleinen aber wunderschönen gut bekannten See namens Spitzingsee.

A very impressive restaurant and well worth the 1 hour hike up. Service was perfect and a huge selection of Bavarian cuisine. Stunning views and I'd recommend getting there for 12pm when the restaurant starts serving for the best seats. 🥨🍻

Die Speisekarte auf der Schliersberg Alm ist top, aber der Kaiserschmarrn mit Apfelmus und Zwetschgen sehr gut und die Portion ist reichlich bei herrlichem Ausblick

Atemraubender Blick auf den Schliersee und Umgebung. Alleine schon das Panorama ist einen Besuch wert. Der Service war flott und freundlich, trotz vollem Biergarten. Das Essen selbst war durchaus ok, jedoch nicht preisverdächtig. Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass auch Leute, die nicht mehr „so gut zu Fuß“ sind, hier aufgrund der Seilbahn einkehren können. Alles in Allem kann ich definitiv eine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Ein Pool mit so einer Aussicht gibt es sonst in 5 Sterne Resorts! Die Gaststätte war lecker. Besonders gut geeignet für Familien mit Kindern, da es hier viele Spielmöglichkeiten gibt.

Wunderschöner Blick in Alpen und auf den Schliersee. Phantastisches Essen, toll für Kinder. An Feiertagen brechend voll. Sehr empfehlenswert!!

Direkt an der Bergstation der Seilbahn. Großartiger Ausblick Vorallem auch zum Sonnenuntergang. Gute Speise und Getränkeauswahl. Der Service wirkte etwas kühl. Das Essen und Nachspeisen waren sehr schmackhaft in großen Portionen. Preislich im Rahmen. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

Keine Weiterempfehlung fürs Restaurant, sowohl der Service als auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmen hier leider absolut nicht. Nachdem wir über 10 Minuten ignoriert wurden, und wir uns unsere Speisekarten schließlich selbst geholt haben (bei max. zu 1/3 besetztem Lokal), war das Essen leider auch nicht gut. Schnitzel sehr fettig (frittiert?), Fleisch sehnig, flachsig und allgemein "durchwachsen". Erinnerte stark an Betriebskantine... Preisgestaltung dagegen durchaus selbstbewusst, inkl. 1,50€ Aufpreis bei Wechsel der Beilage. Wir kommen nicht nochmal.

Tagesausflug mit der Familie auf die Schliersberg Alm. Die Lage der Alm und der Ausblick auf den Schliersee sind überwältigend. Die Preise für Speisen und vor allem für die Getränke (Selbstbedienung) sind allerdings auch für eine Alm (wo man mit etwas höheren Preisen rechnen muss) sehr hoch und auch die Qualität rechtfertigen nicht diese Preisklasse.

Ein wunderschöner Ort,einmalige Landschaft, urige Zimmer, sehr guter Service,leckeres Essen, eine kleine Sauna,aber eine sehr schöne. Eine 100 prozentige Empfehlung!! Wir lieben es dort

Ich habe vor kurzem 3 richtig tolle Tage, bei fantastischem Wetter, zusammen mit meiner Tochter auf der Schliersbergalm verbracht. Die Freizeitangebote für Kids sind unschlagbar, 3 Trampoline, 1 Pool, Abenteuerspielplatz, Sommerrodelbahn. 9Loch Minigolf Anlage, alles direkt um die wirklich schöne Schliersbergalm herum. Die Aussicht von der Liegewiese neben dem Pool, runter auf die Ortschaft und den Schliersee, großartig. Liegen und Schirme können am Pool kostenfrei geliehen/genutzt werden und sind in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sehr freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Einzig beim Zimmer muss ich leider sagen, daß durchaus noch Luft nach oben ist. Unser Zimmer war leider nicht gerade geräumig und daß Bett war für mich (1,84) leider ein Stückchen zu klein, ich habe mir in der Nacht schon so 2-3x die Zehen gestoßen. Im Badezimmer hatten wir leider schwarzen Schimmel in einigen Fugen über und in der Duschkabine. Wir vergeben allerdings trotzdem 4 Sterne in dieser Kategorie, weil wir in allen anderen Kategorien auch 6 Sterne vergeben hätten, hätten wir gekonnt. Resümee, jederzeit wieder, nur nach dem Check in, werden in Zukunft einfach direkt die Badezimmer kontrolliert wie es bzgl Schimmel aussieht. Wir freuen uns auf jeden fall schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

The views are amazing and there is a whole resort at the top of the mountain. However, the waiters were less then friendly and forgot part of the order. Didn’t acknowledge it and it took a long time for the rest of the order to arrive.

Tolle Aussicht, wunderbare Lage, schön ruhig

Gemütlich kleine Wanderung auch mit Hund gut machbar. Wir hatten unsere Hündin dabei, Belgischer Schäferhund. Oben kann man sich ausruhen und gemütlich was trinken und essen
