Essen ist hervorragend, die Menge und Qualität ist für den Preis absolut Bombe. Parkplatzsituation ist wie so oft in Erlangen und Umgebung eingeschränkt. Service und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist Super. Wartezeiten sind leider teilweise recht lange. Es wird erst nach dem Essen abgerechnet. Leider ist Essensaufnahme und Kasse am selben Ort. Daher ist es nicht selten das man 45 Min aufs Essen wartet und dann noch mal mal die selbe Zeit bis man bezahlen kann. Das ist sehr frustrierend und sollte nachbessert werden.

Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Die Portionen sind top, die Qualität ist hervorragend und die Preise sind mehr als fair. Hier bekommt man wirklich noch richtig gutes Essen für sein Geld. Für mich eine der besten Adressen in Erlangen. Absolute Empfehlung – ich komme immer wieder gerne vorbei!

Der Inhaber ist aus Sri Lanka, daher erwartet man erstmal nicht, dass man die mit Abstand beste fränkische Küche in Erlangen bekommt. Hier wird tatsächlich alles selbst zubereitet, das Schnitzel wird vor den Augen frisch aus einem riesigen Stück Fleisch geschnitten und frisch paniert. Ebenso das Cordon Bleu. Der Kartoffelbrei schmeckt wie Zuhause und auch das Schäufele kommt perfekt gegart, saftig und knusprig direkt aus dem Konvektomat. Die Preise sind mehr als angemessen für die riesen Portionen. Ich hab noch nie ein schlechtes Gericht bekommen, egal ob vor Ort, bei Abholung oder Lieferung. Kann die Schlemmerhütte jedem, der fränkische Küche liebt, wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Essen ist gut aber wenn man 10 Minuten allein am Tresen stehend zum Bestellen von jedem komplett ignoriert wird trage ich mein Geld lieber woanders hin. Mir ist das einfach zu blöd.

Nicht vom äußeren täuschen lassen. Das Essen ist wirklich klasse und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind mehr als fair, ich habe Trinkgeld gegeben weil sie es sich wirklich verdient haben.

Ich möchte ein großes Lob aussprechen! Endlich konnte ich mal wieder gute fränkische Küche genießen. Bis jetzt habe ich vier Gerichte ausprobiert und alle haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Lieferservice war sehr freundlich und kam pünktlich mit heißem Essen bei mir an. Vielen Dank!

Also man darf sich von außen nicht abschrecken lassen, da der Imbiss ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Aber es ist sagenhaft wie schnell das Essen fertig ist sowie der Preis der Gerichte. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte auch ganz gut. Wenn man ein bisschen die Einrichtung aufpeppen würde, wäre es noch angenehmer. Unser Hund war auch erlaubt.

Schlecht das Essen war einfach nur schlecht. Tiefkühlware? Salat Blätter waren teilweise braun und gelb und lätschig.....

😋 lecker. Das beste fränkisch ceylonesische Schäufla dass ich bisher hatte. Obwohl ich zugebe, dass das Kiosk Ambiente mit mittags multiplen durchgängig bruzelnden Friteusen nicht jedermanns Sache ist, wurde ich bisher geschmacklich hier nie enttäuscht und die Preise (anständige Portion Schäufla mit Rahmwirsing und 2 Klöße knapp 15€) mir sehr fair erscheinen.

Ich muss sagen, das Essen hier war fantastisch! Ich bin jahrelang vorbeigefahren und habe nie daran gedacht, anzuhalten. Heute habe ich es endlich getan und bin total begeistert. Das Essen war super, und ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Unfortunately, the organization for the Christmas Day meal was extremely poor :-( We had pre-ordered the Christmas menu for 5 pm. We arrived just before, and at 5:15 pm we were told (but only after asking) that the dishes would take over an hour. Very annoying. Especially since the entire Christmas Day is planned around the meal and you're counting on it. We'll call again at 6 pm before heading back to see if the food is ready for pickup. If it isn't, it will be truly disappointing. I also find the organization difficult. One woman is taking orders over the phone, even though the entire hut is completely packed with people who can't get their orders. Why take additional orders over the phone when you can't even keep up on-site? (And there weren't just 2-3 people waiting, but easily 20-30 who couldn't even fit in the hut (and they weren't ordering just one dish, but food for the whole family). The woman was very... Friendly. I'll post another update later. I'm hoping we'll get our food today, because the quality is really excellent there. Edit 6 PM: We called to ask how things were going. We were told to wait until 6:20 PM - I'll update again then. Edit 1 6:40 PM: We finally got our food. We barely got through to pick it up, though, because it's still incredibly crowded, and from what we heard, others have been waiting for over an hour for pre-ordered food. The atmosphere among those waiting was really tense. Edit 2: The food was absolutely delicious again. Unfortunately, due to the poor organization, I can't give it any more stars.

The best snack bar in Erlangen. They only serve good food here. One of the best Schäuferla (roast pork shoulder) dishes you can get in the region.

Very tasty and reasonably priced. You wouldn't necessarily expect this kind of food because it looks more like a fast-food place, but don't be fooled. The variety is especially great. What the crew conjures up in that small kitchen is truly amazing. I'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere of a classic snack bar. But the food is actually quite good!

We ordered currywurst and shashlik. It came quickly and was incredibly delicious. The price for the portion was also absolutely fair. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The food is super delicious. I've rarely had such good aspic with fried potatoes. The shoulder of pork is also amazing.

We ordered from there today via Lieferando. Great food, large portions, everything was warm within half an hour. We'd be happy to go again. We had the Cordeunbleu with croquettes, the dumpling with the Schäuferla sauce, which was absolutely perfect, and the hunter's schnitzel with fried potatoes. These could easily have served two people. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Incredibly good food at a reasonable price. Hearty German cuisine, just like your mom used to cook. A changing daily menu, so always keep an eye out. Ordering is just as good!

Don't let the ambiance put you off; the food is incredibly good. I've never had a better Schäufele (shoulder of pork), and that's as a true Franconian. Full marks for the food. The service could be a bit friendlier, but even that's more than made up for by the delicious food and fair prices. I'll be back! :-)

The Schlemmerhütte is quite well-known by now. Today, we had delicious char. The savoy cabbage on the other plate was delicious. And I love that you can get such good food easily and without complications at a snack bar. That's why it gets 4 stars for ambiance.

Very long wait even though no one was there.

I recently visited the Schlemmerhütte and was absolutely thrilled! The service was warm and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. I would particularly like to highlight the shoulder of pork with dumplings that I ordered: a true dream! The meat was tender as butter, perfectly seasoned, and the crust wonderfully crispy – just as you would expect. The dumplings were beautifully fluffy and absorbed the delicious sauce perfectly. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and experience. If you're looking for top-quality Franconian cuisine, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back – the next shoulder of pork is already waiting!

You call, and they tell you it'll take 20 minutes. Then you're already 5 minutes late to pick up (25 minutes after the order was placed), and then you have to wait another 15 minutes until the food is ready. In summary, calling ahead isn't worth it; you still have to wait there. The food is good, but the wait time is catastrophic!

We were very surprised and can highly recommend it. We were only driving past at lunchtime on a Saturday, expecting a currywurst, and I have to say, "it's amazing." We estimated about 50 dishes from A to Z. We placed our order (cordon bleu and a large mixed salad plate) as usual, and there were others there to order as well. However, within 15 minutes, three large tables had become storage areas, with about 70 people eating and waiting to be picked up. The food was picked up on time, and we received our food in the meantime. Perfect teamwork in the kitchen, well organized, and very, very friendly service; you wouldn't expect such a small restaurant in a snack bar. Our food was delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. We will happily recommend you and look forward to our next visit.

Authentic Franconian cuisine in Erlangen at the highest level! Here you can get Franconian and German classics, some of which are worlds better than in many restaurants and taverns, and at an extremely fair price-performance ratio. Even after almost 10 years and countless orders (to be picked up), the Schlemmerhütte remains our first port of call when we need something nostalgic again, which will definitely never disappoint. Franconian classics such as the Schäuferla with dumplings, the roast pork or well-known ones such as goose breast or even the fish fillets with an extremely tasty remoulade and potato salad are particularly recommended. We've tried pretty much everything on the daily changing menu over the years and I couldn't say which dish wasn't a masterpiece of culinary art and taste. In addition, the service is always very friendly. For certain dishes it is worth making a reservation in advance and arranging a pick-up time to ensure that they are still available on the same day. A big recommendation from me and THE place to go in Erlangen for Franconian and German cuisine.

Ambience is terrible, it smells like a deep fryer. 1 star The service was crappy. Waiting time over 30 minutes and that for a snack? And then part of the order was forgotten. 1 star The food itself is almost inedible, downright disgusting. Seriously, the people who give this more than 2 stars should recalibrate their taste buds. Once again we had an excellent meal. It's always great to see what a well-rehearsed team is behind the counter and doesn't let anything bother them. You should (that's the only drawback) if you know it's busy because a lot has been ordered, have someone there to coordinate the people waiting. This is always a bit chaotic because people all stay at the ordering window and the others don't come to order. Otherwise, as I said, always great.

We once had carp. It's been a while. Were not there again either. Still questions? This is intended to be a very favorable three and a half star rating because I don't want to denigrate the efforts of the Schlemmerhütte team and especially because I only tried this one dish. We agreed it was one of the worst carp. Whatever the reason - old frying fat? Would have been worth one to one and a half stars. You could barely eat it, it wasn't enjoyable. Nothing gets away from us. A colleague recommended the Schlemmerhütte to me with the words: "They will conjure up something delicious for you!" Maybe the expectations were too high? I certainly won't talk anyone out of the popular Schlemmerhütte. However, I often went a little further north-west and got myself a freshly caught, very tasty fried carp. I expressly do not allow myself to make any judgments about other dishes in the range! And to the reviewer with the chicken pork schnitzel: OK, the meat inspection actually seems strange. However, chicken would be an upgrade to pork. So what?!

An excellent little snack bar that offers surprisingly good Franconian delicacies in addition to the usual snack dishes. From Schäuferla or roast pork, roulades to Christmas goose. Everything is available here to take away, or eat on site in the snack bar or in the outdoor seating area in front of it. I am ashamed to admit that I was prejudiced because the shop is run by a presumably Indian family. An Indian and Franconian specialties in a snack bar - can something like that work? YES, it does. The best Schäuferla far and wide, where many an inn has to hide behind it. The spicy currywurst is also bomb! Plus a good cold beer from the fridge next to the ordering counter... that's how it has to be!

Excellent! I'm really excited that Chef Ravi and his team (as Indians) are showing the Franconians how good Franconian cuisine can actually be. There are always alternative dishes and a great, regularly changing daily selection... We often pick up something there to take home, but have also eaten there several times... a Excellent quality for excellent prices! By the way, just as additional information: in the Schäufele rating for Franconia, they were always in the top 3 and were recognized as one of the best in Franconia. Anyone who expects a pleasant atmosphere is unfortunately wrong. It's right on the street and the whole thing is basically a snack bar.
