Zum Liefern nicht zu empfehlen. Leider sehr wenig Essen für hohe Preise. Man ist einfach nicht satt geworden. 22€ für Reis (nicht höher als einwn Daumen hoch eingefüllt) mit Hähnchen (vielleicht 4 Stücke) in Pilzsoße (vielleicht ein halber Champignion). Leider eher eine überteuerte Vorspeise.

Schönes Ambiente, große und leckere Gerichte, schneller Service. Leider war das Fleisch bei der Grillplatte zum Teil zu fettig. Der Schweinebauch war zu zäh und kaum genießbar. Beim bezahlen Trinkgeld Optionen am Karten Gerät von bis zu 20% zu haben find ich unverschämt. Insgesamt dennoch ein ein schönes Familien Restaurant.

"Nur" Abholung über Drittdienstleister, zumindest die Essensqualität kann denke ich dennoch bewertet werden. Spätzle gibt es offensichtlich fertig aus der Tüte. Die Soße schmeckt auch nach Fertigsoßenpulver. Der Vollständigkeit halber: Abgeholt wurde eine "Überraschungstüte" über die App "too good to go" (Eine Plattform zur Vermeidung von Essensverschwendung, auf der Restaurants ihr übrig gebliebenen Gerichte zu günstigeren Preisen anbieten können). Für 6,66€ gibt es hier eine Mahlzeit im Warenwert von 20€. Während ich nicht erwarte, dass es für den günstigen Preis eine große Balkan Grillplatte gibt, habe ich doch mehr erwartet als eine winzige Portion Tütenspätzle mit Fertigsoße (wird das da wirklich verkauft?!?). Da hätte ich mich auch beschwert, wenn der reguläre Preis bei 7€ gelegen hätte. Leider scheint das Restaurant die App und ihre Kunden auszunutzen, um Billigfraß irgendwie gewinnbringend zu verkaufen.

Habe über Too Good To Go bestellt: Preis 6,50 statt über 18 Euro. Und dafür Nudeln mit Soß. Angeblich Käsespätzle 😂🤮 Freches Personal, Fertigspätzle und Conveniencesoße. Das bekomme ich daheim hin, dann ist es zumindest warm. Laut Mitarbeiter erst seit einem Monat hier - hoffentlich nicht lange! Holt euch lieber ein ehrliches Brötchen beim Bäcker gegenüber. Aber hier auf keinen Fall rein gehen. Sogar der eine Stern ist zu viel.

Wir wurden schnell und sehr freundlich bedient. Das Personal war nett, hilfsbereit und konnte alle Fragen zu den Zutaten und Allergenen kompetent beantworten. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig – hier findet wirklich jeder etwas Passendes. Wir haben die Grillplatte für 4 Personen bestellt. Sie war super lecker, reichlich und von sehr guter Qualität. Die Portion war so groß, dass wir den Rest sogar mit nach Hause nehmen konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vielleicht lag es daran, dass die Lieferung etwas länger dauerte, denn die Bratkartoffeln waren schon weich und zäh. Das Schnitzel war auch nicht so toll, nicht so gut gewürzt, aber die Menge hat mich umgehauen. Insgesamt mittelmäßig.

Die Location ist sehr gemütlich, modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut angemessen. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

The food was barely edible. The Spätzle tasted like a pre-made product with cheap cheese, practically tasteless and bland – for €16. The pancake soup was a cloudy, greasy, and equally tasteless broth – €7. In addition, one of the two dishes we ordered was delivered incorrectly. We contacted them and asked for a refund. After a brief back-and-forth, we were told that a refund wasn't possible, but they could send us a replacement. However, since we had to leave the hotel soon, we politely declined both the replacement and the refund. We were then assured that a delivery person would bring us the money. Instead, they showed up again with another dish at the hotel door. In the end, three meals ended up in the trash.

A well-located restaurant with attractive interior design. Given the menu's limited selection of schnitzel and pan-fried dishes, I expected a certain level of expertise. We were there with a pre-booked group of about 18 people. In short, while the dishes were served together, most were lukewarm or cold. It would have been better to serve them only after they were finished. All the dishes were bland, if at all seasoned. The wild mushroom sauce was served in a separate pan, but no spoon was provided. So, I had to either dip my schnitzel in it or spill the entire pan over my food. While cutlery was provided upon request, there were no napkins. Overall, a rather mixed experience. Nice ambiance, but the food and service were just barely acceptable.

We went out for dinner as a couple. We ordered a turkey schnitzel with fries and a side salad, and a duck breast with a dumpling and red cabbage. The salad never arrived, and the duck breast was incredibly tough and dry. Since the dumpling was also very soggy, the food was probably reheated from lunch. The schnitzel was pounded paper-thin. At that price, you expect more, and above all, that you're at least full. That certainly wasn't the case! The ambiance was pleasant to look at, except for the fact that the phone rang constantly, and we stood there without even thinking about answering it.

The best Franconian cuisine in town! The owners are always friendly and do their best, the food is delicious, and the portions are huge. We order from there often and are also frequent diners.

I've never had any complaints about either dining in or ordering delivery/pickup, but today's experience was quite outrageous. We ordered two cordon bleus for pickup. What we received were two (presumably reheated) schnitzels each, with a bit of ham and cheese sloppily thrown in. When I order a cordon bleu, I expect something significantly different from whatever we were handed. And all for €20! Since this was our first bad experience with Grüne Au, which has also had quite a few overwhelmingly positive reviews, I'm inclined to chalk it up to a "bad day." However, the most recent reviews paint a similar picture. Therefore, I would seriously think twice about ordering from here again. It seems that getting good quality has become a matter of luck lately.

Absolutely recommended – a real highlight in Erlangen! I was at the Grünen Au in Erlangen yesterday and I'm absolutely thrilled! As soon as you enter, you can tell that the place is made with passion – the ambiance is incredibly cozy, typically Bavarian, yet stylish and modern. You immediately feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding! I had a classic Bavarian dish, and you could immediately taste that the food is prepared with fresh ingredients and genuine passion. Everything was perfectly seasoned, served piping hot, and simply perfect. The portions were also generous – you definitely won't go home hungry! The service was top-notch – super friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. You can tell that the team enjoys their work and wants to give their guests a wonderful evening. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience – great food, great staff, great atmosphere! I've always enjoyed ordering from you, but never again after today's order. I'm a cook myself, but I would never let anything like that out of my hands! The duck breast is full of hair, disgusting.

I've ordered good food for delivery from there several times, and it always arrived quickly and hot! Today, the company was closed, and I happened to call in the morning and still got the food I wanted. Nice manager, fair prices for the portions, and incredibly delicious Franconian food! Always happy to come back.

The ambiance is unassuming from the outside, but truly appealing inside. The service was friendly and attentive. We had a Schäufala with dumplings, which arrived very poorly, reheated, and without any side dish. At least a sprig of parsley would have been nice. The bread dumplings were good. The place seems to be geared more toward delivery service. The stains on the chairs seem to be getting stuck. Perhaps this could be improved, and it's noticeable.

Nice ambiance, very comfortable seating. Unfortunately, the quality of the food varies enormously. Today, my cordon bleu wasn't cooked all the way through in the middle. Additionally, the fried potatoes were cold and soggy. They seemed to have been kept warm and not freshly fried. Several people at our table also commented on this. Unfortunately, the shoulder of pork was also very fatty overall. For these prices, there's definitely room for improvement.

I can't recommend this restaurant. The whole point of a restaurant is to enjoy a good meal and leave your everyday life behind. Here, the son treats you like you're in a slaughterhouse; it's impossible to relax. The food also varies in taste.

A very chic and modern restaurant. We were invited here for a christening, and the service was very attentive from the start. Our 4-year-old son was already complaining because he was hungry, which the owner noticed immediately. My son had never had his schnitzel and fries so quickly before ;-) My 8-month-old daughter was also warmly welcomed. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back 😀

We celebrated our baptism here and were very pleased. The staff were very friendly, even with the children who were with us. The children's food arrived very quickly after ordering, which was great, as they were already very hungry. But what we also liked was that there were several of us, and we all got our food one after the other; no one had to wait, and we were all able to enjoy a nice meal together. The food was very good. We will definitely come back.

2 stars because the service was fast and friendly. Regarding the food, I can only say that it was poorly prepared. Even the best Michelin-starred chef could only serve a turkey schnitzel 3mm thick dry (I, as a kitchen, can't accept that from a supplier). The chanterelle sauce was very thin and unfortunately lacking in flavor. The menu stated that the side dish was duchess potatoes, but they turned out to be croquettes. The red wine I ordered was served chilled (with lemon and orange as sangria, it's definitely a hit this time of year, but not for €5.20). The price/performance ratio is unfortunately not right here. The train station in Bruck was better.

Check out the more recent reviews. Most of the 5-star ratings are from the past, just like the menu posted online. The food is so-so, the owner seems annoyed, and it's too expensive for the mediocre taste. The cliché German or Franconian cuisine is heartily underscored by good pop music 😅

Unfortunately, the staff, including the owner, were visibly annoyed by our children at a large family celebration and made this very clear through their facial expressions and gestures. They were clearly bothered by the children. The younger children were behaving normally, lively, and not particularly disruptive. An older child was actually reprimanded for making a mess. Very unprofessional. On the other hand, the food was rather mediocre. We won't be coming back.

A superbly diverse and delicious selection – there's something for everyone here, and everything is fresh and prepared with love. Whether hearty classics or light dishes, it's all perfect. Particularly noteworthy: There are no long waits, which isn't always the case, especially in busy restaurants. The service is friendly, attentive, and well-organized. The Palmer family makes the whole experience special – you immediately feel that they put their heart and soul into their work. Their catering service is also absolutely top-notch: professional, reliable, and a true culinary delight! A place that we'll gladly recommend and visit again and again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality – we'll definitely be back!

Too good to go is a total rip-off at this place. I don't understand how 2 small schnitzels with a mini portion of potato salad should have an equivalent value of €19... For the amount and that Taste (potato salad too sweet, breading on the edge very dark and pale on the inside) of what is on offer is even the €9.50 too much...

The food was very tasty, but there was very little asparagus for an asparagus schnitzel...there were 2 sticks in total.

Price/performance still has room for improvement. Were there this evening, cordon bleu with fried potatoes was good, pasta with seafood for 17 euros was clearly too small, salad with turkey strips that were too dry as a filler with mix pickles was too sour and unimaginative. There's cheaper and better somewhere else.

Currywurst Kalt and the Oberhammer were the 21 fries that were included. Never again .

The food didn't taste particularly good. Had schnitzel, fried potatoes and salad and you can get the same thing for less money elsewhere.

We really liked the restaurant. It is fairly newly renovated and modernly furnished. We were served quickly (probably owner) and placed our order. My liver dumpling soup and our two Schäufele were quickly at the table, beautifully prepared, but unfortunately only lukewarm. The taste was good.

So far, Spätzle and Schäufele have both been very tasty, and the second time around we ordered schnitzel with the mushroom sauce for the first time, unfortunately none of it was ours. The fries arrived half-cool and the sauce was very lumpy and unfortunately the taste wasn't ours, which was a shame for the money.

Very, very tasty and fresh Franconian cuisine! It's a little more expensive last year, but still extremely tasty!

I can't understand the bad reviews... I ordered a carp fillet there for the first time via Lieferando. The food was handed over to me by a very friendly delivery driver... the portions are large and you fill up straight away... everything tasted very, very tasty... and I will order there again or go there to eat. 5 out of 5.

Rating Applies to Lieferando orders! The Schäufele was completely okay in terms of taste and price, but the so-called "hot Marcel" for €8 was an absolute disappointment and, to be honest, an impertinence. You get a tiny brownie that is obviously a cheap industrial product - probably purchased from a wholesaler for less than €1 each. It came with no cream, no ice cream, no extras of any kind and wasn't even served warm, but cold. For €8 I expected something high quality or at least fresh, but instead I was presented with a loveless dessert that in no way justifies the price.

I had dinner in Grüne Au on a Sunday. Because I didn't make a reservation, I was looked at strangely even though there were hardly any guests there. The owner showed me the place where we could sit so indifferently. The greeting of the guests looks different... I'm very disappointed, I also ordered often. I will avoid that in the future.

We come from Munich and near Würzburg, and the day before we were looking for a restaurant "in the middle" that was conveniently located and served Franconian food, and we hit the jackpot here on Sunday. Schnitzel, Schäufele, roulades - all very, very tasty. Six weeks ago (11/24) the small restaurant was completely renovated and looks almost like a cozy restaurant in the south or Austria. We also had super-friendly service, the senior manager welcomed us very warmly. An all-round successful lunch. Thanks!

Excellent food and service. The Cordon Bleu was exceptional. The fries potatoes that come with it were so good with the crispy bacon pieces on top. And the side salad was so very tasty. The dressing was perfect. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for its food and friendly service!

As far as dumplings and cabbage are concerned, the green Au is really great, but the duck I ordered was gray and, for whatever reason, tasted watery, the same with the schäuferla a few weeks before. I can't recommend the meat there, the rest is good. The older gentleman who does the delivery/service can smile a little more, or at least not speak in a pissed off tone. My male colleague is suddenly totally friendly and without any derogatory comments. He can still learn customer service.

We were there spontaneously for lunch in the middle of the week. Food, service and ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will come again…

Food mediocre Staff very unfriendly

I don't have any experience with the "green Au" myself, but I have often ordered lunch for my parents. They have always been very satisfied with the quality and taste and delivery has always taken place at the agreed time.

Coincidentally drove past towards the city for something to eat, stopped here and was able to go. Friendly staff. Ordered a 0.0 Bitburg, it tasted a bit typical, but unfortunately it turned out to be well out of date......the waiter said sorry and I ordered a normal glass of draft beer, which tasted fine. Ordered the veal schnitzel on the advice of the owner, which was a nice size, unfortunately a bit on the tough side. The baked potatoes tasted great! Received 2 bags of mayo, the first of which looked strange, also turned out to be expired (the second was fine). When the owner heard something about this, he unfortunately denied it. A bit of a strange situation all in all. By the way, a nice and attractively decorated restaurant.
