Inn Spezerei in Erlangen

Wir haben bislang dort unser Festessen für Feiertage bestellt und abgeholt. Das war immer hervorragend. Nun waren wir mit Gästen dort und auch der Service und das Ambiente sind Klasse. Wir waren alle wirklich zufrieden. Es gab Spargelsuppe, Schäuferle, Reh, Saibling, Ente und ein vegetarisches Nudelgericht. Die Auswahl an lokalen Bieren und Weinen ist prima. Dessert haben wir nicht probiert, da wir eine Geburtstagstorte daheim hatten. Die Karte versprach aber auch hier sicher nicht zuviel. Das bleibt auch weiterhin eine unserer Lieblingsadressen für Feiertagsfestessen und absolut spitzenmäßige Fränkische Küche und Wildgerichte.

Wir waren heute mal wieder in der Spezerei - es war köstlich! Zugegeben es war der dritte Anlauf bis wir endlich einen Tisch bekamen... Das Lokal ist nicht groß aber sehr gemütlich. Hier wird noch richtig gekocht und das schmeckt man auch. Auch der Service ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Der Tisch fürs nächste Mal wurde gleich reserviert...

Ausgenommen leckere Küche, rustikales Ambiente, alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen 🙏🍀💫👍🏻.

Urig, lecker, aufmerksam! Für mich gibt es hier, meist nur mit Reservierung, das beste Schäufala in ganz Mittelfranken. Das Fleisch zerfällt schon beim Anstechen mit der Gabel, die Kruste kracht und schmeckt grandios, genau wie die Soße und der Kloß, auf den Wirsching verzichte ich konsequent. Reservieren und dazu den mega Service und das wohnzimmerhafte Ambiente genießen!

Mia and Sophia make you feel at home and comfortable with their service, and Jean and his team in the kitchen consistently conjure up delicious dishes. The cozy dining room invites you to linger. We have also held our company Christmas parties there several times and have always been completely satisfied.

The food is very good and the restaurant is very cozy. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is very small.

The horseradish beef and savoy cabbage are indescribably good. The horseradish beef was very tender and, at our request, served with boiled potatoes. The staff is attentive, friendly, and professional. Reservations are essential; walk-ins are rarely possible!

We chose Spezerei for our Christmas party dinner. Making the reservation in advance, although we had to reschedule once, was quick and easy. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:30 pm and found it completely full except for our tables. The service was consistently excellent, fast, and attentive. We ordered various dishes, including lamb, horseradish beef, pork tenderloin, and vegetarian options. We started with a selection of soups. All the dishes were cooked to perfection in a very short time. I had the lamb and I must say it was one of the best I've had until yesterday. I highly recommend Spezerei and will certainly return for a private dinner. Due to the small size of the restaurant, a reservation is advisable. Absolutely recommended. The food was delicious. Ordering in advance made it exceptionally tasty. The Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) and the venison were also incredibly delicious. The horseradish beef was outstanding. The service was super friendly and really quick. I'd gladly come again.

For me, the meal was wonderful. I had a shoulder of pork (Schäufele), the meat was super tasty, and the crust was perfectly crispy. A small criticism at a high level for the service, despite all its professionalism, felt it lacked a bit of heart. I would have appreciated a little small talk or a small smile. But hey, that's very subjective, I know.

Friendly, attentive service, the best carp fillet I've eaten in a long time, topped with a wonderful dark chocolate mousse with red wine plums. We'll definitely be back.

Wonderful food and ambiance. The best shoulder of pork sat down. Everything is homemade and truly cooked by the chef. My wife's garlic allergy was therefore absolutely no problem. The service was very friendly and very competent.

Today, we were at the apple fair in the botanical garden with our granddaughter and friend...and then stumbled upon the Spezerei by chance. We were hungry, too, and lucky because there was still room for us. We ate carp fillet, horseradish, and Maultaschen (ravioli). Everything was delicious and plentiful. The service was friendly and accommodating...we'll be back.

Rustic, super-light Schäufala, super friendly service and you don't have to pray when the chef reveals himself 😂, not cheap but worth the price!

In my opinion, this is where you can find the best 1/4 duck with delicious red cabbage. But all the other dishes are also outstanding, and the staff are very attentive and friendly – thank you very much, and keep up the good work!

After extensive research, we decided on the Spezerei restaurant based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we discovered that the quality of the food did not match the reviews. The food was not freshly prepared. The sauces were far too thin, comparable to water. There were no options for children, and the fried potatoes that were offered and served were extremely poorly prepared. We were very much looking forward to good Franconian cuisine, but were ultimately very disappointed. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food at all. The two waitresses were not particularly friendly either.

A good restaurant serving Franconian cuisine. Excellent value for money. For game lovers, there are at least three or four different types of meat, from roe deer to wild boar or wild duck. Served with Franconian recipes.

The food was delicious (we had shoulder of pork with dumplings and creamed savoy cabbage), the service was very friendly, and everything was reasonably priced. The ambiance could be improved a bit, but we'd happily eat there again.

As always, perfect cuisine and perfect service in a small place where of course you have to remember to book.

I ordered the classic Schäufele. Meat to the point, dumplings extremely tasty. The cellar beer is served in steins. The service is impressive, you are served very courteously and nicely. The ambience is very cozy thanks to the old half-timbered house and invites you to linger for a longer period of time. Really a recommendation!

Quaint restaurant in Erlangen... walk in and immediately feel at home. Rustic atmosphere, very nice service and very good food. We had Schäufele and horseradish meat with beer. Always happy and certainly often 😊 Since the restaurant is not very big, reservations are recommended.

People have been living in Erlangen for decades and have neglected to “discover” the spice industry for a long time. 😉 Big mistake, because in my opinion Erlangen is one of the best Franconian cuisine has to offer. Cozy atmosphere in a small room, with authentic, always delicious food. Be sure to reserve.

We've been going to the Spezerei for several years now and we're impressed every time. For us, it's definitely the best place for regional food. It is always freshly prepared and the atmosphere is unique. The service leaves nothing to be desired. We always recommend making a reservation by phone in advance.

Were there for the first time. I/we love it. 😍Very small, rustic restaurant but very cozy and makes you feel good. If you like good Franconian cuisine, this is 100% the right place for you! The menu is very manageable, but rather a small selection of dishes than overcrowded and off the shelf. We'll be back and then we'll eat the wild boar roast 👌😍super nice staff and very attentive, just perfect. Keep it up.

Food was great, atmosphere too. Unfortunately, it is relatively difficult to get a seat and the timeslot (1 hour) is a bit short for such an expensive meal. Otherwise great!

Cozy little restaurant. Mega delicious food. The wild boar in particular is incredibly good. We felt very comfortable, the service was excellent. What was very unpleasant for us: you can't give a tip when paying by card, it has to be paid extra in cash. We would have liked to tip generously, but unfortunately that wasn't possible. The team definitely more than deserved it, next time we'll have cash - we promise

Had dinner there today for my birthday. The food and drinks were great. Schäufele and venison very tasty. The only drawback is that there are vegetarian restrictions and you have to choose between two dishes that are very similar.

Really nice little place. The waitresses are really on point. Very friendly and open to small requests. Price/performance is really justified here. It's a small but really beautiful house. Really delicious Franconian specialties are served here. Certainly a bit more expensive than in Franconian Switzerland, but the quality, ambience and the friendly and attentive service speak for themselves. Absolutely recommended!

Ein ganz besonderer Schatz in der erlanger Gastronomie! Im diesem wunderschönen, kleinen und gefühlt uralten Häuschen wird fränkische Küche auf höchstem Niveau serviert. Die Gemütlichkeit und der überragende Service sind für mich aktuell unübertroffen in der Stadt. Leider viel zu selten, aber doch schon einige Male war ich hier zu Gast. Der Empfang und die Bedienung sind fantastisch. Die Bedienungen sind hervorragend ausgebildet und man spürt, dass sie wahre Freude daran haben, die Gäste glücklich zu machen. Das wundervolle und gemütliche Ambiente der kleinen Gaststube hilft dabei natürlich enorm. Die Karte in der Spezerei ist überschaubar und wechselt regelmäßig. Die Qualität der eingesetzten Ware und das fertige Essen ist absolut top. Bisher gab es nichts zu beanstanden und auch auf Sonderwünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Bei Getränken und Schnäpsen gibt es eine große Auswahl und bei Bedarf eine fundierte Beratung. Ich kann dir Spezerei nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sie ist immer einen Besuch wert.

Im fränkischen sagt man einfach 'passt schoo'. Das würde aber auch für fränkische Verhältnisse zu kurz greifen. Wir haben an einem ersten Advent ein passendes, geschmackvolles Ambiente genossen. Einen ausgemacht guten Service erlebt! Das in Zeiten, in denen man Servicepersonal händeringend sucht. Danke an die Damen ❤️ Die viertelte Gans war perfekt, sagt meine äußerst kritische Frau. Mein Schäuferle nicht schlechter. Die Kürbisscremesupoe mit gerösteten Kürbisskernen und leckerem Kernöl. Die Getränke kamen zügig, waren gut eingeschenkt und haben das ganze wunderbar abgerundet. Jetzt noch etwas zu einer Beilage. Ich habe noch nie so ein gutes Wirschinggemüse gegessen. Meine Oma und meine Mutter mögen mir verzeihen. Das war so gut, dass ich dafür alles andere stehen gelassen hätte...

Wir waren hier zu ersten mal am Wochenende mit Freunden. Ich habe mich auf die bisherigen Rezensionen verlassen und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und proffesionell. Die Speisen sind regional und sehr schmackhaft. Nur zu empfehlern. Auf die Frage ob wir den Tafelspitz auch als kleine Portion bekommen gab es eine positive Antwort. Nur bei einem Schäufelchen geht es leider nicht, was ich nachvolliehen kann. Meine Pfifferlinge in Rahmsosse mit 3 in Worten drei Semmelklos war super.

Eine sehr harmonische Atmosphäre. Die Gastfreundschaft ist hier auf einem hohem Niveau. Ich bin kein Fan von Fleisch und deswegen habe ich extra einen veganen Teller bekommen. Sehe tu empfehlen...wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Dame im Service war auch super nett und hat uns super bedient.
