A great restaurant, we were a little late around lunchtime but were still very well looked after. The food, the fish platters were excellent.

Quaint restaurant with service that takes some getting used to at the beginning. Once the ice was broken, nice service. Great food at fair prices.

Wow - that was delicious! And at moderate prices too! The furnishings are also right! The two service ladies were also endearing and always very friendly, despite their sometimes tediousness! Unfortunately we couldn't get a spot the next day - but we're going to Schleswig again just because of the smolt! Definitely go there - but make a reservation! Rarely have I been so satisfied!

Reservations were not possible by telephone. When you entered, you were rudely asked if you had reserved, with the addition: Not with a dog anyway. Since that was done for me, the landlady remarked: For me too. You should make a reservation in front of the door is mandatory, attach.

We ate here again after 15 years. Fish platters are simply recommended. Very friendly service. We'll be back, hopefully not for another 15 years.

Anyone who visits Schleswig should visit the slime gull. Reservation highly recommended. Rustic atmosphere, as is the service, yet attentive, courteous and friendly. The food is good in all areas and the price-performance ratio is right. Gladly again.

If you're lucky enough to have friendly wait staff on duty, this restaurant is worth a visit! The fish is very tasty!

A real recommendation, not just for fish lovers. Both the good food, the friendly service with the Holmer Schnack, and the well-kept ambience offer holidaymakers and local connoisseurs everything they could wish for. With a prior reservation everything is fine.

When asked if there would be a table available for 5 people plus a small dog. Unfortunately we were chased out with a “It’s over now!” Being friendly is different! A pity.

A really great fish restaurant in Schleswig on the Holm. Ate there every evening on vacation. Super tasty, fresh, fried to perfection. Plenty and the prices are really reasonable. Kirsten and Lena and Gabi are great waitresses. And the boss, Rena, is always in the kitchen. Thank you for the great evenings with you. Would love to come back. 👍😍

8 months ago: I have known this small but fine fish restaurant for decades. Very tasty dishes and friendly staff. Always a must, but be sure to reserve well in advance of your visit. Unfortunately we weren't there this time. :-( Update: With a table reservation, we managed to enjoy excellent fishing again at the beginning of July 2024. We were just as pleased with the rustic, cozy dining room as we were with the two ladies who serve their guests with passion. We had plaice fillet with North Sea crabs, superbly prepared, and fried potatoes, just like Grandma's, until we could handle it. Very good value for money and we can only hope that this restaurant continues to exist for a long time. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious fish, nice staff. Pretty small and fine restaurant

I just arrived at 8 p.m. End of work, kitchen closed and the restaurant is open until 9 p.m. I was alone and I didn't think it was nice despite calling another restaurant. Now I had a bad meal at the harbor.

Incredibly delicious food, especially the fish specialties are excellent. I had a fish platter with an excellent dip. The ambience is also great. Class and friendly service I will gladly come again. Now I've been there again and in the meantime I've also tried other fish restaurants and can conclude that the Slime Sea is the best fish restaurant. The service there is first class. This also applies to the quality of the food, the fish is absolutely fresh and very tasty, if it were up to me I would give it 6 stars.

Quaint restaurant with a great selection of fish, we'll be back

A rustic fish restaurant with lots of local flair. The dishes are great, taste great and are very filling, while the prices remain moderate. The service knows how to address the guests individually, but is always very friendly! Here you feel comfortable and really in good hands. The slime gull is totally recommended without any drawbacks! But be careful: make sure you reserve well in advance, as this restaurant is very popular and is almost fully booked every day.

Discovered by chance and ate it deliciously. The gourmet plate was a delight. And at an excellent price-performance ratio.

Spontaneously dined with 11 people and were warmly welcomed and served nicely and well The food was very tasty and we liked it.

I can't comment on the food because it didn't come that far. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the sign with the opening times and decided to enter the restaurant at 1:27 p.m., even though it closes at 1:30 p.m. Without a greeting we were harshly turned away: "It's closed here at half past two!". As we all know, the sound makes the music and so we just moved on. But it's all good for something. The following visit to the nearby restaurant was a complete hit.

Unfortunately not convincing. Disappointing herring meal on Mother's Day. Matjes means young herring and is very tender. These "Matjes" - herrings were too heavily salted, "bacon beans" had no taste or bacon, and fried potatoes were mushy. The housewife sauce served with the “Matjes” was delicious, as was the dessert, which consisted of red fruit jelly and ice cream. - unfortunately, like everywhere else, you notice the lack of staff and that makes you overlook the pat answers and careless handling.

What does the guest in the Slime Sea get on the table? Fish, fish, fish! And it comes without a lot of chi-chi, but is all the fresher.

We were there for dinner on Good Friday, what can I say. I don't think I've ever eaten good fish before 😜 . The food was sensationally delicious, friendly service and a great family atmosphere. When we are back in Schleswig, we will definitely come back. Kind regards Diana Scharke from Sauerland 😊

Old established restaurant. Honest, no-frills fish cuisine at an honest price.

Like in your own living room and really delicious fish dishes. Highly recommended, will definitely come back.

The fish was carelessly prepared, the “salad” with mayonnaise, the service: 2 bad-tempered housewives.

It's better to make a reservation. Since the kitchen closes at 7:30 p.m. (at least in February), everything fills up quickly. Delicious fresh seasonal fish dishes at absolutely fair prices!

A fish restaurant in Schleswig. From Büsum crab soup to plaice or salmon fillet, everything can be found on the menu here. Food very tasty and served hot. The ambience is a bit old but everything fits together. Typically North German and typically delicious, but definitely only for fish lovers.

The food was very tasty and plentiful. The fish was spot on. The potatoes were very tasty. The atmosphere is rustic. Only card payment is possible, but it is visible both outside and in the restaurant. Service very friendly. Afterwards, a short walk through the fishing district rounded off the day. There is parking nearby, unfortunately not on site. We'll be back :) Thank you

Haben mit einer Gruppe dort gegessen. Phantastisch. Essen sehr lecker und reichlich. Bedienung super. Freundlich und aufmerksam. Habe gerade wieder einen Tisch reserviert.

Diesmal konnten wir nicht kommen wegen einer Autopanne aber wird nachgeholt. Alles kann immer genauso bleiben wie es ist, denn es passt alles, das Essen, die Auswahl, das Ambiente, die Einrichtung. Bitte nichts verändern.

Gestern das erste Mal dort gewesen. Das Essen war super, Preislich mehr als in Ordnung. Wer gerne Fisch isst, ist hier genau richtig. Ambiente passt zum Lokal. Kommen gerne wieder.

Es ist ein kleines Restaurant mit einer überschaubaren Speisekarte. Aber das Essen ist super, schmeckt lecker. Die Preise sind nicht übertrieben. So kann man auch mit seiner Familie gut essen gehen.

Dieses Restaurant ist einfach in der Zeit stehen geblieben - und das meine ich positiv. Fischerstuben-Ambiente, fast schon museal, mit vielen alten Bildern und Utensilien. Dies, eine herzallerliebste Bedienung und üppige, äußerst schmackhaft zubereitete Speisen machen dieses Restaurant zur Nummer 1 für den Fischliebhaber in Schleswig. Ich freue mich, dass die Sturmflut der Gaststätte nicht komplett den Garaus gemacht hat, und es weiter geht. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Seit Jahren bin ich dort immer wieder zufriedener Gast. Alleine oder in der Gruppe findet sich meistens ein Tisch - sicherheitshalber empfehle ich allerdings immer telefonisch zu reservieren. Die Schleimöwe ist meiner Meinung nach auch eines der Restaurants wo die Bratkartoffeln immer die beste Wahl sind. Wer guten Fisch essen möchte ist bestens beraten hier mittags oder abends einzukehren!

Ein wirklich unglaublich tolles Lokal. Die Zeit ist in der Schleimöwe stehen geblieben, was man auch daran merkt das man dort nicht mit Karte zahlen kann. Was ich absolut garnicht schlimm finde, weil es zum Ambiente passt. Zudem wird auch schon außen an der Eingangstür drauf hingewiesen. Das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker. Wie bei Oma. Urig, klassisch, fantastisch. Selbstverständlich gibt es sehr viele Fischgericht. Aber auch Liebhaber von anderen Leckereien werden hier fündig. Der Service ist ganz hervorragend. Offen, liebenswert und typisch norddeutsch. Die Wirtin liebt und lebt Ihren Job. Und das merkt man als Gast sehr schnell.

Hm sehr sehr ursprüngliche schöne wohnstube, die Mentalität darf verstanden werden. Kein schickimicki aber sehr besonders gut.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung, die auch in Stoßzeiten die Ruhe behält. Essen entspricht den Erwartungen und ist reichlich. Sehr schön, dass es auch kleinere Portionen gibt! Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr alt und staubig. Die Bedienung ist nett und Gemütlich gewesen, dass obwohl sie alleine und völlig überlastet war. als wir die Getränke bekommen haben waren es dann schon 20 min später und das Essen kam 1.5h später. Essen war okay, aber nichts besonderes war sehr einfach in allem gehalten, was etwas schade ist wie ich finde. Getränke nach bestellen und Bezahlen ist eine Kunst für sich, man sagt Bescheid und wird dann vergessen. Zudem waren wir wirklich die Jüngsten vom Klientel wir 32 und der Rest alles Renter und Stammtisch. Man muss es mögen, für uns war es das letzte mal, vielleicht dann nochmal wenn wir älter sind.

Sehr gut gegessen und es war reichlich nur zu empfehlen das einzige war die lange Wartezeit aufs Essen aber es hat sich gelohnt

Wir haben in der Schlei Möwe sehr leckere Fischgerichte gegessen. Ohne Reservierung ist es fast nicht möglich, einen Tisch spontan zu bekommen.

Gemütlich, etwas in die Jahre gekommene Gaststube. Fischgerichte sind immer frisch zubereitet. Service ist freundlich und nett.

Freundliches Personal, große Speisekarte, als Beilagen sind leider nur Salz- oder Bratkartoffeln oder Kartoffelsalat erhältlich. Wenig Auswahl für Kinder/Nicht-Fischesser.

Gemütliches,kleines Restaurant in versteckter Lage. Das Essen war gut, vor allem die Bratkartoffeln aber auch meine Scholle war gut,wir waren zu acht und waren zufrieden, obwohl das Essen über 1 Stunde gedauert hat, dieses lag aber auch daran, dass alle Plätze konstant besetzt waren und trotz dieser starken Frequentierung war die Bedienung, die ganz alleine war,sehr aufmerksam und stets freundlich. Insgesamt ein schönes Erlebnis und zu empfehlen.

Sehr schön und gut und stimmig und lecker und altmodisch und einfach phänomenal. Freundlich selbst bei Auslastung. Der Gourmetteller ist eine Gaumenfreude. Die Einrichtung ist wie in einem alten Fischerlokal. Hier passt wirklich alles und man hat echt Glück ohne Reservierung einen Platz zu bekommen. Wir hatten Glück und haben es nicht bereut.

Bitte keine Kritik auf Nachfrage 'ob alles in Ordnung war' äußern, in unserem Fall war die Scholle viel zu trocken. Die arrogante und ignorante Reaktion war unprofessionell. Dass auch der Wein zu warm war, hab ich gar nicht erst geäußert, da die Bedienung völlig überlastet schien. Fazit: Für ein Touristenessen reicht es.

Update 10.08.2023: Es hat sich nichts geändert, immer noch top! Einfach immer wieder gut. Leckeres Essen in uriger Atmosphäre. Sensationelle Bratkartoffeln und frischer Fisch. Absolut empfehlenswert, da kann man nichts falsch machen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Personal war freundlich. WC empfand ich zu wenig.
